6.4 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes East Coast of Japan Near Tokyo


“A STRONG earthquake has struck Tokyo, a day after a monster aftershock shook the country.

The 6.4 magnitude quake struck just 77km east of Tokyo off the coast of Chiba prefecture at 9.08am (AEST).

There was no chance of a tsunami, say authorities.
