Iran: Ahmadinejad Threatens to Send the United States and Israel ‘To The Morgue’

“Tehran, 20 July (AKI) – Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has threatened to destroy the United States and Israel if put on the defensive.

‘Resistance will continue until Iran sends its enemies to the morgue,’ he said on his website, making a reference to the US and Israel who he said are ‘on the verge of collapse and gasping for their last breathes.’

Ahmadinejad may have been reacting to news from Iranian state media that Iran brought down a U.S. ‘spy drone’ flying near its Fordo nuclear enrichment plant in Qom province.

State-run Press TV didn’t say when the incident happened. US officials said there were unaware that a US unmanned aircraft was downed, according to news reports.

The Islamic Republic, Ahmadinejad said on his website ‘is the region’s greatest military power.'” Source.

    That comment reminds me of Mt 13:41-43, and similar passages:

    41 The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

    Are they weeping and gnashing their teeth in regret, seeing the result of their chosen path, or are they hateful and rebellious even after receiving the just penalty for their sin and unbelief? Seems like Imadinnerjacket would just laugh at Ez 38/39, call it Zionist propoganda, and stay on his “highway to Hell”. No one is completely without hope, I suppose, but it sure seems like he has already branded his forehead with an indelible “666”.
