Norwegian Intelligence: No Evidence Found Linking Anders Breivik With ‘Far-Right Extremists’ in Norway or Elsewhere
“Norwegian domestic intelligence chief Janne Kristiansen has told the BBC no evidence has so far been found linking Anders Behring Breivik with far-right extremists in Norway or elsewhere.
Mr Breivik admits Friday’s bomb and gun attacks that killed at least 76 people.
He says he is part of a wider movement and has written about UK contacts.
But Ms Kristiansen said she thought he had acted completely on his own. She also cast doubt on suggestions by Mr Breivik’s lawyer that he was insane…
Ms Kristiansen, who heads Norway’s Police Security Service, told the BBC: ‘We don’t have indications that he has been part of a broader movement or that he has been in connection with other cells or that there are other cells.'” Read more.

By Edmund DeMarche – “An Uzbek man, who was living illegally in the U.S., was indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury for allegedly making multiple threats to assassinate President Obama, then gaining possession of explosive material and a machine gun.
Ulugbek Kodoriov is accused of making four threats against Obama from July 9 to 13, the indictment says. Kodoriov, who lived in Jefferson County, Ala., eventually gained possession of a Sendra Corporation Model M15-A1 rifle, which was illegal because of his immigration status, according to the indictment. He also allegedly obtained an explosive intended for use as a grenade.
He was residing at the Oak Mountain Lodge in Birmingham, according to a search warrant obtained by FoxNews.com. Authorities sought any information in his room regarding Obama, as well as sniper rifles, documents relating to assassinations and Jihadist manuals.
On July 9, Kodoriov contacted an FBI source and asked about ways to kill the president by a long-range shot, according to the warrant. Kodoriov allegedly inquired about sniper rifles and said he didn’t care if he lost his life in an assassination attempt.
Kodoriov, 21, is a strict Muslim from Uzbekistan who previously supported Islamic extremists, an FBI source said, according to the warrant.” Read more.

By MARK DUNPHY – “The Canary Islands Government has said it is monitoring an earthquake swarm on the small island of El Hierro where in excess of 400 tremors of low magnitude have been recorded in the past four days.
On Friday, the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Government Security Canary convened the first ever meeting of the Steering Committee and Volcanic Monitoring, reflected in the Specific Plan Protection Civil and Emergency for Volcanic Risk, given what it described ‘the significant increase in seismic activity’.
A statement (translated from Spanish) issued following the meeting outlined: ‘This committee met this morning (Friday) at the headquarters of the Directorate General Security and Emergency Tenerife, established after the assessment of information gathered from seismic and volcanological last July 17 by the National Geographic Institute (IGN) and Volcanological Institute of the Canary Islands, the situation is total normal for the green light for the information population, activating mechanisms for monitoring and oversight needed to coordinate the actions of self civil population and information contained in the Plan.’
‘According to data provided by the seismic monitoring station IGN’s located in Valverde, one can conclude that from the noon on July 17 there has been a significant increase of low magnitude seismic activity in the municipality of Border of the island of El Hierro. Sweden: Discovery of Deadly, Incurable Bee Disease Prompts Warning From Agriculture Officials
“The discovery of a deadly bee disease among several broods in western Sweden have prompted a warning from agriculture officials concerned about containing the contagious illness.
A number of bee broods outside Varberg in Halland County have been affected by American foulbrood (AFB), considered one the most common and damaging diseases affecting bees.
The disease has no known cure and can cause significant economic harm if not contained.
‘Beekeepers are urged to go through their hives and look for signs of the spores so to ensure the brood isn’t infected,’ the Halland County governing board said in a statement.
The disease affects new bee larvae up to three days old, which become infected by ingesting spores that are present in their food.
Spores germinate inside of and eventually kill the larvae, which can contain millions of new spores.
The only way to stop the disease from spreading is to burn hives in which it is discovered.” Read more.

Marshall Islands: Mystery Surrounds Mass Deaths of Chickens and Ducks, Perplexing Health and Environment Officials
“The mass death of chickens and ducks on a small island next to the US Army’s missile testing range in the Marshall Islands is perplexing health and environment officials.
The sudden and unexplained deaths of nearly 100 chickens on Enibooj Island — which has a population of less than 200 people living a largely subsistence lifestyle — sparked an investigation earlier this week by Ministry of Health and Marshall Islands Environmental Protection Authority [EPA] officials.
‘More than 85 chickens and ducks were found dead and buried on the island of Enibooj from 1 Jul to 18 Jul 2011,’ reported Ebeye Hospital’s Dr Tom Jack and EPA’s Ebeye chief environmental specialist Odrikawa Jatios on Wednesday [20 Jul 2011] after touring the island that US cartographers refer to as Carlson. Samples of the dead bird carcasses were taken for laboratory testing.
Kwajalein [Atoll] senator Tony deBrum sought an investigation of the apparent outbreak of disease among fowls on the island late last week, saying ‘dead chickens in a small community should be a matter of emergency health concerns.’
The island is located about 3 miles away from the headquarters island of the Reagan Test Site, a major missile testing facility operated by the US Army.” Read more.
South Korea: Landslide Leaves 32 Dead, Dozens Injured

More than 750 rescue workers had been dispatched to the site after the collapse occurred at midnight, according to the Central Disaster Relief Center.
About 400 families have lost their homes and more than 14,000 were left without power.
The hillside gave way during a summer of record-setting rainfall, which has caused flooding and major traffic disruptions across portions of the country.
Chuncheon is about 75 kilometers (45 miles) northeast of the capital, Seoul, which has seen more than 400 millimeters (15 inches) of rain since Tuesday.” Read more.

Breivik described himself as not a religious person and mentions praying only once. His plans leading up to the attacks involved multiple visits to prostitutes. In one section of his manifesto he clarifies what he means by Christian.

Breivik did call himself a Christian, but meant that in a cultural sense, rather than a theological one. He emphasized that he was not seeking a theocracy, but a secular society. His idea of a Christian Europe had nothing to do with religion.
2. Anders Behring Breivik Hated Muslims
Breivik viewed Muslims as the enemy, but only domestically. He emphasized that; “Knights Templar do not intend to persecute devout Muslims”
And he contemplated collaborating with them on terrorist attacks against Europe. “An alliance with the Jihadists might prove beneficial to both parties… We both share one common goal.” The Caliphate was a useful enemy for his cause.

‘The Obama administration continues to try to prevent the word ‘God’ from being used at the funerals of our heroes,’ said. Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas).
‘It’s unacceptable and I’m going to put a stop to it as fast as humanly possible,’ Culberson told Fox News Radio. He attended a burial service at the cemetery undercover on July 8, when he says he witnessed volunteer members of the honor guard from the Veterans of Foreign Wars being prohibited from using any references to God.

The reports say that his father refused to turn over a police vehicle to the enemy, and so they murdered his son…
And so last night I walked to the Headquarters of 4-4CAV here in Zhari District, the most active district in Afghanistan at this time. I asked what was going on tonight. A noncommissioned officer filled me in on the day’s events. We had been in a minor ambush resulting in a slight injury and a damaged MRAP, so I knew about that one. But then he explained about a boy whom he said the Taliban forced to step on an IED just down the road from here. Apparently, according to Afghans, the Taliban may have been testing a new bomb made from a soda bottle. The boy’s name is Jalil, and our people estimate that Jalil is 6 to 8-years-old. Jalil was picking grapes with his brother when the Taliban, according to reporting, told the boy to step on the bomb. It blew off his right leg below the knee, leaving hamburger on the stump, and fractured his femur.” Read more.
