Greece Faces Big Debt Payment Tuesday, European Leaders And Financial Markets Braced For Greece Exit From Euro
“Financial markets are hastily making preparations for a Greek exit from the euro after a day of political and economic turmoil ended with Europe’s policy elite admitting for the first time that it may prove impossible to keep the single currency intact.
With attempts in Athens to form a government after last week’s election looking increasingly doomed, European leaders abandoned their taboo on talking about the possibility that Greece might have to leave the euro.
Shares, oil, and the euro were all sold heavily on Monday in anticipation that anti-austerity parties would garner support in a second Greek election likely to be held next month, bringing the row between Greece and its European creditors to a climax.
Critical talks are scheduled to continue in Athens between all party leaders, although President Karolos Papoulias’s decision to prolong the negotiations came despite widespread signs the talks were heading towards collapse. He has until Thursday, when the Greek parliament reconvenes, to broker a deal.
The British chancellor, George Osborne warned that the prospect of Greece crashing out of the euro was damaging economies across Europe.
Uncertainty over the future of struggling eurozone nations was having a ‘real impact’ on growth, he said…
Markets are braced for figures due out on Tuesday to show that the eurozone is officially in a double dip recession, and fear that the events of the past few days will intensify the slump.” Read more.
Greece Faces Big Debt Payment Tuesday: Now What? – “As if the Greek situation wasn’t messy enough, a missing paragraph from a key legal document is throwing a wrench into a debt deadline. Greece has a 436 million euro principal repayment due Tuesday. So far, the country has not decided what to do. Under normal Greek-debt contracts, if Greece doesn’t pay, it would have only a seven-day grace period. But experts who have pored over all of this have found that one of the key paragraphs from the normally boiler-point language is missing. As a result, Greece will have a 30-day grace period, leading to the possibility of an extended, ‘Will they?’ or ‘won’t they?’ drama.” Read more.

Venus will be transiting the Sun (orbiting between the Sun and the Earth) on June 5 for the last time until 2117. The transit will last 7 hours. Here’s an article: http://www.space.com/15661-venus-transit-solar-researchers-alaska.html
The thought that occurred to me is that Venus could be representing the Virgin, or Israel, and the Sun representing Jesus – that according to some, soon Israel will endure God’s wrath for a period of one “seven”.
Don’t agree with an end of the age “seven” at this point (other than 7 seals, 7 trumpets, 7 bowls, and the other Revelation 7’s, so I guess there are a few I DO agree with!!) , but we’re all familiar with that interpretation, and it was share-worthy, I thought.

Hey KJ, it’s me John Jacob Jingleheimersmith – my blog says the squashbuckler though. 2 years ago I was determined to look into a few popular teachings about the eschatos and see if they were traditional understandings and therefore neo-dogma or valid teachings. I heard conflicting views, was being lead by God’s spirit to study the Bible and I did, by His lead.
The time quantity in Revelation puzzles me at times. Some say 7 yrs because of two periods of 1260. However, some say the rapture is Rev 4:1. Allow mne to refer to Daniel’s pre-revealing of ther endtimes Revelation. He was shown a few time periods as in 1260, 1290 and 1335. How do some negate these periods of the end? One thought crosssed my mind: even though there are timelines in Revelation of certain things happening for a certain time as in the 1260 days, do some times stack? do some happen concurrently? Are some in succession? Does Daniel’s timelines slot in? The answer is yes to all.
A few years ago, I started a bunch of charts in the m.i.c.r.o.s.o.f.t. VISIO program and charted each reference pertaining to times of the end; a bigger picture was openeing but I learned a lot from it. When doing this I would play the local Christian radio station and eventually I would hear about the rapture sans explanation… don’t open the bible it’s going to happen… don”t study it just believe, you don’t doubt do you? that’s from the enemy! WHAT? The rapture debates made me look into it even more.
When at bible study a few times, someone asked me do you have a theology degree, are you a pastor? Sorry, I don’t. I am not praised of men. I am not a Fuller grtaduate and I am sorry my biases come form God’s lead into the Word and not sewed-in intepretations and tradition.
One thing I appreciate in this blog is the level of detail in study and willing to cross refernce scripture. My background was not scripture nor Christianity. These days it is. Now that it is I want to do as Jesus told me, what is pleasing to Him, to do these things sans traditional external formailities ie entertaiment.
Isaiah 58 up^ God bless you guys. JJJHS

I had included a photo of a transit, which worked fine in my test on “Prophesite”, but not here.

Kurt – With all that is happening in US politics right now with the gay issues Obama and Biden have brought into play and the counting of the Omar completed May 26/27 it would not surprise me at all if something did not happen prophetically – Obama came out with this gay issue right on and around the date Noah’s Flood began – and one of the sins of Noah’s day was homosexuality. Lets us wait and see and pray that we are prepared regardless what happens
