    I hope “democracy” dies everywhere. I sure don’t want it. We have a Constitutional Republic and if we follow it then Sharia law would be impossible to implement.

    These laws about not covering your face have to go! How can we stand for liberty when we take it from others?

    I’m not sure how a Constitutional Republic can succeed without a strong democracy. A Constitutional Republic should be strengthened by the people who democratically elect leaders to represent them, so the problem I see with America today is not with the democratic process itself, but rather with those who are being democratically elected to represent the people. The current representatives trample upon the Republic’s constitution and are “serving” the public in such a way that is at its core completely serving the government under the guise of serving the people. It is creating a nation of citizens increasingly dependent upon gov’t handouts who will in turn vote to keep them in office. It is economic slavery. If Barack Obama — a socialist and Marxist — along with the Democrat Party as it exists today is truly representative of the people, then America as a Constitutional Republic has ceased to exist and is well on the road to ruin.
