Media Silent As Muslims Ethnically Cleanse 60,000 Christians In Philippines

But when Muslim terrorists attack a Christian city creating tens of thousands of refugees, you couldn’t pay the media to cover the story, whether it’s in Syria, Egypt or closer to home in the Philippines.

Philippine troops have started to battle their way into coastal villages in the south where Muslim rebels have held scores of residents hostage in a six-day standoff, sparking fierce clashes that have killed 56 people and displaced more than 60,000, officials said Saturday.

President Benigno Aquino III said more firefights were expected but assured more than 62,000 displaced villagers being sheltered at a sports complex in Zamboanga city that the rebels’ capability to sow trouble has been degraded and the government was working to end the crisis soon.

Zamboanga is the 6th largest city in the country and 3/4 Christian and an obvious target for the MNLF Muslim terrorists (who are of course denying responsibility and blaming a rogue leader). It’s an obvious target because of its central influence in Mindanao. It’s the city that Muslims want. BY JOEL GEHRKE, Washington Examiner – “President Obama waived a provision of federal law designed to prevent the supply of arms to terrorist groups to clear the way for the U.S. to provide military assistance to ‘vetted’ opposition groups fighting Syrian dictator Bashar Assad.

Some elements of the Syrian opposition are associated with radical Islamic terrorist groups, including al Qaeda, which was responsible for the Sept. 11 attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville, Pa., in 2001. Assad’s regime is backed by Iran and Hezbollah.

The president, citing his authority under the Arms Export Control Act, announced today that he would ‘waive the prohibitions in sections 40 and 40A of the AECA related to such a transaction.’

Those two sections prohibit sending weaponry to countries described in section 40(d): ‘The prohibitions contained in this section apply with respect to a country if the Secretary of State determines that the government of that country has repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism,’ Congress stated in the Arms Control Export Act.

‘For purposes of this subsection, such acts shall include all activities that the Secretary determines willfully aid or abet the international proliferation of nuclear explosive devices to individuals or groups or willfully aid or abet an individual or groups in acquiring unsafeguarded special nuclear material,’ the law continues.

The law allows the president to waive those prohibitions if he ‘determines that the transaction is essential to the national security interests of the United States.’

Under section 40(g) of the AECA, the Obama team must also provide Congress — at least 15 days before turning over the weapons — ‘the name of any country involved in the proposed transaction, the identity of any recipient of the items to be provided pursuant to the proposed transaction, and the anticipated use of those items,’ along with a list of the weaponry to be provided, when they will be delivered, and why the transfer is key to American security interests.” Read more.

JTA – “A group of teenagers assaulted 10 Jewish students at a public sports center in Paris.

According to France’s Bureau for Vigilance against Anti-Semitism, several teenagers ‘of African and North African origins’ attacked the group of Jewish 13-year-olds from the Ner HaThorah Jewish school on Thursday. There were no serious injuries.

The attackers asked the Jews to stop ‘occupying the area,’ the report said, called them ‘dirty Jews’ and said ‘Hitler didn’t finish the job.’

When police arrived, the attackers fled, according to a bureau report published Friday on the French Jewish news site JSSnews.

Parents and pupils said the attack, in the 19th Arrondissement, turned into a fight as the Jewish pupils tried to defend themselves.

Signs In The Heavens? Newly Discovered Comet ‘Lovejoy’ Will Add To ‘Comet Lineup’ In Winter Skies

By Bob King, Universe Today – “Move over Comet ISON. You’ve got company. Australian amateur astronomer Terry Lovejoy, discoverer of three previous comets, including the famous, long-tailed sungrazer C/2011 W3 (Lovejoy), just added a 4th to his tally.

This new comet will add to a lineup of comets that should grace early November skies in the northern hemisphere: Comets ISON, Encke and now the new Lovejoy.

The discovery of C/2013 R1 Lovejoy was announced on Sept. 9 after two nights of photographic observations by Lovejoy with an 8-inch (20 cm) Schmidt-Cassegrain reflector. When nabbed, the comet was a faint midge of about 14.5 magnitude crossing the border between Orion and Monoceros. Subsequent observations by other amateur astronomers peg it a bit brighter at 14.0 with a small, condensed coma.

Right now you’ll need a hefty telescope to catch a glimpse of Lovejoy’s latest, but come November the comet will glow at around 8th magnitude, making it a perfect target for smaller telescopes. At closest approach on the Nov. 23, Lovejoy will pass 38.1 million miles (61.3 million km) from Earth while sailing across the Big Dipper at a quick pace.

Mid to late November is also the time when Comet ISON, the current focus of much professional and amateur observation, will be at its brightest in the morning sky at around magnitude 2-3. Get ready for some busy nights at the telescope!

Unprovoked: Israeli Arab Attacks Jew In Clinic (Video)

Security camera footage from the incident, at a health clinic in the northern village of Ibillin, shows the Jew sitting in the waiting room, minding his own business and not even looking at the Arab man.

The Arab man gets up, walks toward the Jew and punches him hard in the side of the head. The Jew falls writhing to the floor. Men who were present in the clinic escort the attacker to a seat in the room, and then help the Jewish man out of the room. No one seems overly perturbed.

The Jewish man was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Attorney Itamar Ben Gvir, who represents the man who was beaten, said in response that it is easy to imagine what would have happened if the picture had been reversed and a Jew had attacked an Arab in a Jewish town: ‘President Peres would have issued a harsh denouncement, Tzipi Livni would have proposed new laws and the chief rabbis would have come to visit. But when a Jew is attacked, it’s as if nothing happened and hypocrisy rules. Colorado: Over 500 People Unaccounted For After Flood Of Biblical Proportions Devastates Towns

Fox News – “As rains bring historic flooding to Colorado that has killed at least four people and left more than 500 unaccounted for, residents were bracing for more heavy rain Sunday.

According to DailyCamera.com, the treacherous weather that has devastated the state was followed by drier, clearer skies on Saturday. But that seems a temporary respite, as the forecast called for even wetter conditions Sunday.

‘It looks like there is a chance of some heavy rain Sunday, and a continued risk of flash flooding. And then we finally dry out on Monday,’ National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Kalina told the website.

Rescue teams are warning people in some Colorado towns isolated by devastating flooding against remaining there, telling them that they could face weeks without basic supplies, including running water and electricity.

Helicopters and truck convoys of the National Guard carried the admonition Saturday into paralyzed canyon communities where thousands of stranded residents were eager to escape the Rocky Mountain foothills. But not everybody was willing to go. Dozens of people in hard hit Jamestown wanted to stay to watch over their homes.

Authorities made clear that residents who chose not to leave might not get another chance for a while. Rescuers won’t go back for people who insist on staying, Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle said.” Read more.

Report: Syria Smuggling Chemical Weapons To Iraq

By Maayana Miskin, INN – “Syria’s government has responded to pressure over a recent chemicalweapons massacre by promising to give up its chemical weapons. However, according to the Lebanese paper Al-Mustaqbal, its method of disposal has been to ship the weapons to Iraq.

The paper reported that roughly 20 Syrian trucks crossed into Iraq under heavy guard on Thursday and Friday, without undergoing cargo checks.

Al-Mustaqbal is affiliated with the anti-Syrian camp in Lebanese politics. Thepaper also quoted an Iraqi official as denying that his country has receivedchemical weapons shipments.

‘These accusations are all rumors and useless and no one believes them,’ said Saad Maan, a spokesperson for Iraq’s Interior Ministry.

Iraqi officials issued a similar denial last week after Salim Idriss, a general in the Syrian rebel group Free Syrian Army, reported the movement of Syrianchemical weapons to Iraq.” Read more.

US: Muslim Brotherhood Islamist Appointed To Homeland Security Advisory Council

He was one of the speakers at a December 2004 conference in Dallas titled ‘A Tribute to the Great Islamic Visionary.’ The visionary in question was none other than the founding father of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Ayatollah Khomeini.

When I questioned him about his appearance at such a conference, Elibiary claimed that he hadn’t known what kind of conference it was going to be, although he didn’t explain why he went ahead and appeared there anyway once he found out. Among those who found this explanation wanting was journalist Rod Dreher of the Dallas Morning News, whose skepticism angered Elibiary. The great moderate subsequently threatened Dreher, telling him: ‘Expect someone to put a banana in your exhaust pipe.’

Yet despite all this, Elibiary still got his appointment to the DHS Advisory Council, and has now been promoted. Mohamed Elibiary has risen as far as he has without ever being properly vetted because government and law enforcement officials, and the media, are so avid to find a moderate Muslim who will stand against Islamic jihad terrorism that they will accept virtually anyone’s claim to be just that, no questions asked.

Residents who fled from the ancient town of Maalula in Syria told AFP that jihadists ambushed the town last week and forced a man to convert to Islam at gunpoint.

‘They arrived in our town at dawn… and shouted ‘We are from the Al-Nusra Front and have come to make lives miserable for the Crusaders,’ said one woman identified as Marie in Damascus, where many people from Maalula fled after rebels first attacked that town on Sept. 4…

‘I saw people wearing Al-Nusra headbands who started shooting at crosses,’ the Christian senior told the AFP. One of the shooters, he said, ‘put a pistol to the head of my neighbor and forced him to convert to Islam by obliging him to repeat ‘there is no God but God’…Afterwards they joked, ‘he’s one of ours now’.’ …

Another Maalula resident, Rasha said the jihadists brutally murdered her fiancé Atef, who was a part of the town’s militia.

‘I rang his mobile phone and one of them answered,’ she said…

Rasha said the man told her Atef was asked to denounce his faith and convert to Islam and he refused.

Pakistan Christian Post – “Muslim youth equipped with arms attacked Christian youth in vicinity of Gloria Colony in city of Skeikhupura, in Punjab province of Pakistan on September 09, 2013 at 5:30 pm whena Christian youth named Nadeem returned home along with some supplies for family. As he entered in to his house he attacked by Farooq Baloch, Naeem Baloch, Umer Baloch, Sadaqat Baloch, and Umair Baloch. They were armed with deadly weapons and started beating him severely. One of them hit on Nadeem’s head with an axe, it started bleeding…

Due to the severe injury he fell down on the floor, when Nadeem’s mother saw him bleeding in the head she rushed towards him.

She was crying and tried to save his son but the attackers started misbehaving to her and did not allow her to see her son. One of them severely bites in to her body with teeth which was too much painful for her. Because of her mother and other family’s cries people from the neighbors gathered there but when they saw that the attackers were armed with weapons they could not interfere.

Later the attackers started shouting and reminded Nadeem and his family that they burnt down their ware-house and catering material in 2011, just to give them a lesson but still you could not understand. If you want to save your lives and family you must have to close your business and stop showing well being because you are Christian and the Christians are only cleaners and poor. The neighbors were helpless to save Nadeem as it was bleeding in his head injury and they wanted to take him to hospital immediately. Meanwhile someone from the neighbors made a phone call to mobile police and informed about the incident. Police reached at the spot on time and when the attackers heard the siren of police van they immediately escaped while opening fires in the air. Then they were able to take Nadeem to the hospital for medical treatment.

The very next day on September 10, 2013 Nadeem and Waseem went to B-Division police station for the registration of case FIR against the attackers which was registered on the case FIR number 628/13 offense under section 148/149 PPC and 377/452 A2, F1, L2 against Farooq Baloch, Naeem Baloch, Umer Baloch, Sadaqat Baloch, and Umair Baloch the residents of the same locality Mohalla Farooq Nagar Sheikhupura.

After registration of the case FIR police did not cooperated with the victims and did not take any legal action for the arrest of culprits.” Read more.

AsiaNews – “The Muslim Brotherhood have turned an evangelical Protestant church in Monshaat Baddini in the province of Samalout ( Minya, Upper Egypt) into a mosque. According to local sources, the Islamists have removed all sacred furnishings , paintings, icons and recited the special prayer to consecrate the building to Allah. On the wall of the church an inscription reads : ‘mosque of martyrs and there is no other God but Allah.’

Menassa Nesseim , the Pastor of the local Protestant community , tells Mcn-direct (an Egyptian Christian Press Agency) that ‘ since August 14 , the day of the Islamist assault against Christians , no one has been able to enter the building .’ He denounces the inaction of the authorities who have accepted the fact with indifference: ‘Neither the police nor the armed forces have raided the church, to eject the squatters and return the building to the Protestant community’. Nesseim reports that the militants have placed their men to guard the complex. Christians are afraid to approach their church.

Attacks against Egyptian Christians began in mid- August, after the evacuation of the sit -in of the Muslim Brotherhood in Cairo and other cities of the country. There are currently over 80 churches destroyed. Added to this sad toll are he 162 homes and shops destroyed and the daily threat of being subjected to more attacks and kidnappings.

In Delga city of the province of Minya , Islamists have created a kind of parallel state, turning the city into an Islamic enclave in which shariah prevails. Egypt: Muslims Murder Christians For Refusing To Pay ‘Jizya’ Tax

Qur’an Sura 9:29, “[Mohammed said] Fight those who believe not in Allah … (even if they are) of the People of the Book [Christians], until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”

And if these “unclean” Christians refuse, do what the “prophet” of the “Religion of Peace” would do if he were here today: Bathe them in bullets …

AINA – “Two Coptic Christians government employees were shot dead yesterday for refusing to pay Jizya, the Muslim poll tax on Christians. Emad Damian, 50, and his cousin Medhat Damian, 37, from the village of Sahel Selim in Assuit Province, were contacted two days before their murder by the leader of a Muslim gang, who was identified by Watany Coptic Newspaper as Ashraf Ahmed Mohammed Khalajah, a registered criminal from the village.

Accoring to Emad’s brother Dr. Samy Damian, Emad was contacted about 9:30 PM by a member of the gang, who demanded 10,000 Egyptian pounds so that he could buy weapons. ‘My brother said that he had no problems with anyone, does not require services from anyone, and does not have the money.’

In an interview on Al Nahar TV Channel on September 12, Ahmed Fawzi, secretary for the Egyptian Social Democratic Party, said the two murdered Copts, who were members of his political party, reported the matter to the police in Sahel Selim and asked for police protection, but the police did nothing.

‘A couple of days later the gang surprised the two Copts by going to their home in the morning and showering them with bullets, leaving both dead,’ Fawzi said. ‘The police know who the killers are but are doing nothing to arrest them.’

The districts of Sahel Selim and Ghanayem are the most unsafe areas in Assuit and their police stations were heavily shelled by the Muslim Brotherhood on August 14.

Meanwhile, the security situation remains tense in the village of Delga, Deir Mawas, 160 miles south of Cairo in Minya, where Muslim Brotherhood gangs completely control the village after the ouster of ex-president Morsy. They target the 20,000 Coptic inhabitants by imposing Jizya on them allegedly to ‘safeguard’ them from acts of violence and vandalism to their homes and shops. Despite the arrival last week of a new director of security in the province, the scene is still grim for many.” Read more.
