Israel Eases Gun Restrictions After Muslims Slaughter 4 At Jerusalem “Mosque”, Palestinians Celebrate Murders
It wasn’t a mosque, of course. It was a synagogue, but not if it were up to CNN. PA President Abbas “condemned the attack” according to the below article. Condemned the attack against the Jews, or the attack against the Palestinian killers? …

“There is no better blood than the blood of Jews.” – Hamas
By Maayan Lubell, Reuters – “Two Palestinians armed with a meat cleaver and a gun killed four worshippers in a Jerusalem synagogue on Tuesday before being shot dead by police, the deadliest such incident in six years in the holy city amid a surge in religious conflict.
Three of the victims held dual U.S.-Israeli citizenship and the fourth man was a British-Israeli national, police said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to respond with a ‘heavy hand’, and again accused Western-backed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of inciting violence in Jerusalem.
Abbas condemned the attack, which comes after weeks of unrest fueled in part by a dispute over Jerusalem’s holiest shrine.
A worshipper at the service in the Kehillat Bnei Torah synagogue in an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of West Jerusalem said about 25 people were praying when shooting broke out.
‘I looked up and saw someone shooting people at point-blank range. Then someone came in with what looked like a butcher’s knife and he went wild,’ the witness, Yosef Posternak, told Israel Radio.
Photos distributed by Israeli authorities showed a man in a prayer shawl lying dead, a bloodied butcher’s cleaver on the floor and prayer books covered in blood.
‘We are viewing this as a terrorist attack,’ said police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, who confirmed the four dead and that the two assailants, both from predominantly Arab East Jerusalem, had been shot dead by police.
Israel’s ambulance service said at least eight people were seriously wounded.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, said it carried out the attack, which it called a ‘heroic operation’.” Read more.
Israel To Ease Gun Controls For Self-Defence After Terror Attack – “Israel is to ease controls on carrying weapons for self-defence in the wake of a deadly Palestinian attack on a Jerusalem synagogue, Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said on Tuesday. ‘In the coming hours, I will ease restrictions on carrying weapons,’ he said in remarks broadcast on public radio, indicating it would apply to anyone with a licence to carry a gun, such as private security guards and off-duty army officers.” Source – AFP.
Palestinians Celebrate Murder Of Jews At Jerusalem Synagogue – “The violence was met with celebration from Palestinians, as revelers in the Gazan city of Rafah handed out candy and brandished axes and posters of the suspects in praise of the deadly attack, according to the Jerusalem Post. Hamas-affiliated social media also circulated violent and anti-Semitic cartoons hailing the killings… Netanyahu vowed that Israel will ‘respond harshly’ to the attack, which he denounced as a ‘cruel murder of Jews who came to pray and were killed by despicable murderers.'” Read more.

Heh. Funny you should say that. I had the strangest dream the other night. I can count on one hand the number of times in the last 35 years of knowing Christ that I have had a dream that I thought might be from Him. This was one of them. I was sitting somewhere, when I look up and there next to me is Netanyahu. Totally shocked to find myself sitting next to him, I say something lame like, “Rough month, huh?” I think he will probably say something about the terrorist attacks, etc., but instead he starts to tell me about how there is a mouse in his house and how it is really bothering him. He thought it was just one mouse, but when he tracked down the hole in the wall and looked inside, there were thousands of mice. I put my head down to think about that and when I looked back up, Netanyahu is reading a bible. Not just reading, but focused intently on the page. I try to see what portion he is reading, but it is in Hebrew. And then my dream ends.
It was very vivid (I don’t usually remember my dreams) and I woke up that morning really wondering if it was from the Lord, and if so, what it could mean. I have been reading through the bible this year, and my text for that morning was Ezekiel 8, and I knew at that moment that was what Netanyahu had been reading, especially when I got to verse 7.
I have been pondering this a lot and wondering if it has to do with the AoD somehow. Notice how often the Lord refers to abominations in Ezek. 8. And it all occurs on the Temple Mount or underneath it. The Waqf have been digging underneath the mount for years and years, hauling dump truck loads of ancient debris into the Kidron valley. Makes me wonder what they might be up to under there. Maybe the rats are about to come pouring out of that hole.

Great story indeed, Kurt. It’s amazing the transformation that can take place in someone’s life when they come out of darkness and step into Light. Everything suddenly seems much clearer.

Don’t know if either of you have been reading any of the discussions on the old Joels Trumpet Discussion Board, which even though Joel de-linked from it is still there–Norma Robertson has rejoined our discussions. Over the years she has done some amazing original research on the temple’s location, which she shows was more or less under Al Aqsa and not the Dome of the Rock. If you want to read about it, its here: http://templemountlocation.com/
I don’t believe a temple will be built prior to the Lord’s return (neither does she) but as I believe ICA has speculated in the past, Jewish interest in rebuilding their temple certainly could hasten the conflagration that brings Jesus back.
