Instead of bending over backwards reaching out to the Muslim community, perhaps Australia’s leaders ought to reach into a few mosques first in search of materials being used to promote Islamic terrorism. If they were to truly do that, of course, they’d need to then confiscate each and every Qur’an from each and every Muslim. After all, the teenage jihadist murderer didn’t just get his gun at the local mosque. He got much of his inspiration from there, too …

And then it coming to light that the murderer was given his gun at a local church that had other ties to violent Christians? Happens all the time, right?

THE weapon used by teen terrorist Farhad Jabar was believed to be sourced from a Middle Eastern crime gang and police suspect it was handed to the schoolboy at the Parramatta mosque….

The terror teen had been a regular member of an Islamic schoolyard prayer meeting being audited by the state government.

A spokeswoman for NSW Education Minister Adrian Piccoli last night confirmed the Muslim prayer group, held at lunchtime each Friday under teacher supervision at Arthur Phillip High School where Farhad Jabar was a student, had been reviewed following allegations pupils were preaching extremism at similar sessions at another school.

It can also be revealed a fellow student at Jabar’s school, who cannot be named, was a supporter of Islamic State and had been ordered to participate in a youth offenders conference after yelling abuse outside a Christian school and flying the terror group’s flag from a car window.

“A major focus for police will be how Jabar became radicalised.” To quote the words of Benjamin Franklin, “We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.” Unfortunately, it seems like the authorities nowadays are hard at work indeed, but all too often for all the wrong reasons. Instead of working on the premiss that Islam is a religion of peace and doing all they can to remain willfully ignorant, the authorities ought to pick up a Qur’an and discover for themselves what it truly teaches …

By Simon Kent, Breitbart – “The teenage terrorist who executed a NSW Police Force employee in Sydney was lauded as a ‘hero of the Islamic people’ on a social media page, which was quickly removed at the request of police.

Fifteen-year-old Farhad Khalil Mohammad Jabar, who was born in Iran and had an Iraqi-Kurdish background, was killed during a shoot-out with special constables outside police headquarters in the western Sydney suburb of Parramatta last Friday. Moments earlier he had shot finance worker Curtis Cheng in the back as he left the building.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, on one of the Facebook pages that have emerged since the shooting the teen has been labelled the ‘hero of Parramatta’ although it remained unclear who set up the Facebook page or why.

‘Hero of the Islamic peoples he will be gratly (sic),’ one post reads on the Facebook page. ‘Death to the evil police state of Australia who killed this young child all he is guilty of was being muslim!!’

Asked about the page, NSW Police Deputy Commissioner Nick Kaldas said it was disappointing : ‘Just as disappointing as the right-wing extremist material,’ he added.

Police investigating the crime are now examining links between the shooter, who was dressed in black at the time of the attack, and a nearby mosque he visited immediately before the shooting.

Witnesses said that after shooting dead Mr Cheng, the teenager ran up and down in front of police headquarters waving his handgun in the air and shouting ‘Allah, Allah’.

Jabar visited Parramatta Mosque before he gunned down the popular 58-year-old civilian employee. He was a regular at the mosque and often stayed there until late at night with other young men.

A major focus for police will be how Jabar became radicalised and whether it was from a group he met at the mosque, reports The Australian.” Read more.

By Bridie Jabour, The Guardian – “Bill Shorten has compared extremist organisations to paedophiles following Friday’s fatal shooting of a police employee in Parramatta by an allegedly radicalised teenager.

The opposition leader called the shooting ‘a dreadful, useless waste of life’ and said organisations that filled young people’s heads with ‘murderous, crazy nonsense’ were ‘breaching their social contract with the Australian people’.

As the Islamic community expressed relief that former prime minister Tony Abbott’s rhetoric around extremism was absent in the wake of the shooting, the prime minister, Malcolm Turnbull, called for the Muslim community not to be vilified.

Farhad Jabar Khalil Mohammad, 15, allegedly shot and killed New South Wales police employee Curtis Cheng, 58, on Friday afternoon outside Parramatta police headquarters. He was then shot and killed by police.

On Monday, Shorten attacked organisations that exploited young people for criminal ends.

‘If there are organisations in this country preying upon vulnerable young people, filling their heads full of murderous crazy nonsense, then those organisations are breaching their social contract with the Australian people,’ he told reporters…

Lydia Shelly, a Islamic community advocate and solicitor, said Turnbull’s approaches had been welcomed and there was hope for wide and genuine consultation in the community…

‘This is not a Muslim issue, concerns are for all of our country, we all have a vested interest that young men don’t fall prey to Reclaim Australia and groups like that. We need to stop viewing radicalisation purely through a religious and Arabic prism.’

Turnbull had a phone conference on Saturday with the NSW premier, Mike Baird, police commissioner Andrew Scipione and seven or eight Muslim leaders to discuss the shooting.

‘The Australian Muslim community will be especially appalled and shocked by this. We must not vilify or blame the entire Muslim community with the actions of what is, in truth, a very, very small percentage of violent extremist individuals,’ Turnbull said in a statement.

‘The Muslim community are our absolutely necessary partners in combating this type of violent extremism.’

Turnbull also urged parents to keep tabs on what their children were up to, to head off the risk of exposure to extremism.

‘We all need to be aware of the way in which radicalisation can occur – communities at every level, families should be aware of what young people are doing, what influences are impacting on young people,’ he said.” Read more.

How long are Western authorities going to persist in this delusion without ever asking themselves why the moderate, peaceful Muslim that they assume prevails in their countries is completely unable to withstand the appeal of what they firmly believe is a twisted, hijacked version of the religion? If this boy and so many others like him learned the true, peaceful Islam in their homes and their mosques, why did they so easily fall for this counterfeit Islam they found on the Internet? Why have 30,000 Muslims from 100 countries traveled to join the Islamic State? Why are imams worldwide so spectacularly failing to communicate the true peaceful nature of their religion to their own young people?

The cognitive dissonance is enormous, and growing by the day, but no one seems to notice or care.

A baby-faced British schoolboy who plotted to kill Australian police in an Anzac Day terror attack from his parents suburban home warned a teacher, ‘You are on my beheading list’, a court heard today.

From his bedroom in Blackburn, Lancashire, the 14-year-old, who had been radicalised by Islamic State propaganda online, urged Australian Sevdet Besim, 18, to behead police officers at an Anzac Day parade in Melbourne.

Manchester Crown Court was told today that the attack would ‘in all probability’ have resulted in a number of deaths if it was not thwarted.

As they discussed their plans for the attack, the boy – who was acting in the role of ‘organiser’ – encouraged Besim to break into the home of a vulnerable person living alone, to get his ‘first taste of beheading’ and told him to make a martyrdom video, the court heard.

He told Besim he could either attack police with a gun, a car or a knife and advised him to kill an officer by running them over before beheading the victim and moving onto the next target.

As well as the Australia plot, the schoolboy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been researching potential targets in Britain and teaching himself how to detonate devices and explosives.
