Hamas Suspends Truce, Delays Release Of 2nd Round Of Israeli Hostages, IDF To Resume War If Hostages Not Released By Midnight (Updated)
Hamas’s Military Wing: “Al-Qassam Brigades decide to delay the release of the second batch of prisoners until the occupation adheres to the terms of the agreement related to the entry of relief trucks into the northern Gaza Strip, and due to failure to adhere to the agreed-upon standards for releasing prisoners.”
Hadith, Al Bukhari 4.268, “Allah’s Prophet [Mohammed] said, ‘War is deceit.’”
“When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible … and obligatory to lie if the goal is obligatory…“ – Reliance of the Traveller: A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law

Evidently, blood-thirsty terrorists now want more “food trucks” in northern Gaza for their hungry stomachs for peaceful civilian purposes. Hamas has been losing the physical war badly, now they’re engaging in psychological warfare. Naturally, they blame Israel of course (after having already violated the truce themselves 15 minutes into it with rockets fired toward Israel). Even after Israel had already allowed 200 trucks into the strip as required by the deal, Hamas is busy scrambling to find more fake excuses to distract, delay and deceive. Perhaps they’re trying to give Israel an excuse to attack them again so that they can claim to the world that Israel were the ones who broke the agreement. Stay tuned …
Update 1: Ceasefire may be on the brink of collapse. Israeli officials now say that if the second group of hostages are not freed by midnight Israel time the IDF will resume ground operations in Gaza.
Update 2: Deal back on. “Israeli sources said the release of 13 more Israeli hostages will be completed on Saturday after Palestinian terror group Hamas delayed the deal, calling for Israel to allow more food trucks into the Northern Gaza Strip, according to Israeli media. There is immense pressure behind the scenes on Hamas coming from Qatar, urging them to adhere to the planned ceasefire, according to N12.” Read more.
