Turkey’s Erdogan is losing his marbles. The words coming out of his mouth as of late are so absurd they’d almost be comical if he had said them behind a mic at The Improv. Funny, isn’t it, that while Hitler is such an adored and beloved figure all across Turkey and the Muslim world on one hand, his name is often used to denigrate anyone outside of it on the other. If Netanyahu is “no different than Hitler” for daring to defend his people against a genocidal enemy, then so were Churchill, Roosevelt and Truman. But defending one’s country from terror does not make you “no different than Hitler.” Calling for the genocide of Jews does. The Jerusalem Post – “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is worse than Adolf Hitler, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan charged as he likened the IDF’s military campaign to oust Hamas from Gaza to the World War II Holocaust.

‘They used to speak ill of Hitler. What difference do you have from Hitler? They are going to make us miss Hitler. Is what this Netanyahu is doing any less than what Hitler did? It is not,’ Erdogan said during a speech he delivered in Ankara on Wednesday.

Netanyahu shot back, ‘Erdogan, who is committing genocide against the Kurds and who holds the world record for imprisoning journalists who oppose his regime, is the last person who can preach morality to us.’

‘The IDF, which is the most moral army in the world, is fighting to eliminate the most abhorrent and brutal terrorist organization in the world, Hamas-ISIS, which has committed crimes against humanity, and which Erdogan has praised and whose leaders he hosts,’ Netanyahu stated.
