Look at a map of the Middle East. Have you ever noticed that the closer you get to the nation of Israel the more she is hated by the nations that surround her? It should come as no surprise, then, that the closer we get to the God of Israel the more we are hated by those that surround us. Even so, no matter what comes our way, we shall overcome and the gates of hell will be powerless to stop it …

Lubero District: ‘Caliphate Soldiers’ Slaughter Dozens Of Christians In Single Attack– “Islamic State Central Africa Province (ISCAP) has reported the killing of around 30 Christians in a single attack in north-eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). According to an ISCAP statement the ‘caliphate soldiers’ also burned 27 homes and several shops in the village of Mukundo, Lubero District, North Kivu Province on October 13. ISCAP has claimed the killing of at least 620 ‘infidel Christians’ since Christmas 2024. As many as 102 were slaughtered in an attack on Notoye village, also in Lubero District, on September 8. Mukondo: Islamists Raid Village, Slit Dozens Of Throats, Burn Down Houses In Horrific New Massacre – “ISIS fanatics are believed to have slit the throats of 19 people before burning their houses down in the latest tragic massacre to hit Congo. The attack, believed to have been carried out by the Allied Democratic Forces, an Islamist militant group based in the region, took place over the weekend in the village of Mukondo in North Kivu province. The assailants wore uniforms resembling those of the Congolese army, which allowed them to enter the village without arousing suspicion. According to Alain Kiwewa, military administrator of the region, they then slit the throats of dozens and burned down houses and shops, leading to a ‘a massive displacement of the local population’. A local pastor, who wanted to remain anonymous for security reasons, added that they also attacked people using guns and clubs…” Read more.

Mayi Moya: Islamic Militants Posed As Church Officials To Kill And Kidnap Christians – “In a chilling new tactic, alleged Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels disguised themselves as church officials and choristers before launching a recent fatal attack on Mayi Moya village… The rebels killed three civilians and kidnapped eight… ‘They came into our church and stole the robes of our priests and choir; they then put them on, posing as a delegation from another church. It was a devilish plan. To use the very symbols of worship to deceive and destroy is beyond evil. My heart breaks for those who trusted them, thinking they came in peace,’ one church official said… villagers welcomed them warmly, believing they were part of a church mission or community visit. Some community members even followed them, unknowingly walking into captivity… The militants abducted at least eight people, whose whereabouts remain unknown… ‘They may have stolen our robes and shed our blood, but they cannot steal our faith.'” Read more.

Ntoyo: At Least 64 Slaughtered After ISIS Militants Attack Christian Funeral – “At least 64 people, some who were attending funeral services… were killed in an attack by Islamic extremists… The attack was attributed to the group Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), which is affiliated with ISIS. Ntoyo is located in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, in the North Kivu province… ADF militants attacked the funeral with machetes, killing dozens. The attack continued into the morning hours… ‘The victims were caught off guard at a mourning ceremony,’ Macaire Sivikunula, a local administrator, told Reuters. Following the machete attacks, ADF militants set houses and cars on fire in the village, adding to the death toll. Lufodu Village: Scores Dead And Missing In Overnight Raid By ISIS Terrorists – “The Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) launched a deadly raid early last week on the village of Lufodu… killing 20 people… the victims had been camping in their fields as they farmed when the rebels struck. ‘They massacred eighteen people on the spot and two others later succumbed to their injuries… These were ordinary farmers who had gone to guard their crops overnight. They were unarmed, unsuspecting, and completely defenseless. The bodies of the victims have since been transported to Oicha for burial. The entire community is in shock. Families are mourning, and some parents are still searching for missing relatives.’ … This latest massacre comes just days after a similar attack in Mabasele and Mbimbi/Oicha, the administrative center of Beni Territory. That earlier incursion, which took place in the Mabasele neighborhood, left five people dead, including a 2-year-old… ‘We are losing our children, our women, our men, and our future.
