Tower Hamlets: Council Goes On Spree Removing British Flags For Being ‘Far Right’, Leaves ‘Palestine’ Flags Up – “A London council… tore down almost 80 [flags] in a two-day removal spree… Tower Hamlets previously prided itself on its displays of Palestine banners but used metal poles to rip down England flags in the borough… The east London authority disposed of 43 English and British flags on August 18, before pulling down a further 35 two days later. No Palestinian flag has been removed since July 2024. Councillors, some dressed in pro-Palestinian garbs, passed a Labour-led motion this month which condemned those flying the national flag as ‘far right’ extremists… David Simmonds, Shadow Minister for Housing, Communities and Local Government, told the Mail: ‘… Any two-tier perception – that councils turn a blind eye to foreign political banners but crack down on our national flags – is deeply corrosive to social cohesion.’ …Tower Hamlets is not the only local authority to remove St George’s flags with Portsmouth City Council tearing them down and Derby City Council and South Gloucestershire Council pledging to take similar action in recent weeks.” Read more.

London: Sadiq Khan Accused Of ‘Facilitating Cover-Up’ Of Grooming Gangs After Reports Of Young Girls Being Raped By Groups Of Men In Capital – “Sadiq Khan has been accused of helping to cover up abuse by London grooming gangs after reports of young girls being raped – despite claims of none in the capital… The mayor has previously said there were ‘no reports and no indication’ of Rochdale or Rotherham-style grooming gangs in London, while the Met’s Chief Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley… has more recently suggested… that there was a ‘very significant’ number of multi-offender cases that would need probing again… Former Greater Manchester Police detective Maggie Oliver, who turned whistleblower to expose failures tackling grooming gangs in the north of England, told of her horror at the latest allegations from London… And the Conservatives’ shadow home secretary Chris Philp accused Mr Khan of ‘facilitating a cover-up’ by denying the existence of such gangs in the capital… ‘It is shameful that the Mayor of London is claiming to have no indication that grooming gangs are operating in London despite personally responding to reports containing evidence of victims abused by grooming gangs in the city. ‘Lone Wolf’ Muslim Develops Sudden Urge To Read Jihadist Material And Kill Jews – “For years, Manchester synagogue attacker Jihad Al-Shamie lay in wait as he viewed terrorist material online, biding his time before he decided to strike. Earlier this month, on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the year for Jews, the 35-year-old attacked Jewish worshippers at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue. He stabbed one person to death, and when armed police shot at Al-Shamie, a worshipper who was said to be holding the synagogue doors closed was caught by a stray bullet and also died. Al-Shamie was shot dead. Before his death, he called 999 and reportedly said: ‘I have killed two Jews in the name of the Islamic State.’ The police and MI5 were unable to establish any actual links between al-Shamie and terror groups and instead believe he was a lone wolf who viewed extremist material online.” Read more.

Muslim Migrant Sexually Assaulting Multiple Women Is Spared Prison For Being ‘Unfamiliar With UK Laws’ – “An asylum seeker was captured on video carrying out sex attacks on multiple women while cycling through the town where he was staying – and has now been spared jail after claiming he was ‘unfamiliar with UK laws’. Qais Al-Aswad, 26, who is originally from Syria, sexually assaulted three women as he passed them on the same cycle lane in Horley, Surrey in May and June this year. Al-Aswad, who was staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel at the time, was seen on CCTV footage reaching out with his hand and sexually assaulting his victims as he cycled past. The assaults all took place while Al-Aswad was travelling to and from the hotel to work at a car wash in London Bridge… Al-Aswad, who was flanked by a security guard in the dock, fled Syria in 2018 after his home had been bombed. He arrived in the UK from Turkey in 2024.” Read more.

Masked Thugs Terrorize, Threaten To BEHEAD Jewish Professor After Storming His Lecture At London University – “An Israeli professor who has repeatedly been targeted by pro-Palestine students on campus has revealed masked activists stormed his lecture today and allegedly threatened to chop his head off. Michael Ben-Gad, an economics lecturer at City University in London, has been branded a ‘terrorist’ and has faced calls to be sacked because he served in the Israel Defence Forces from 1982 to 1985… ‘I finished my lecture and it was invaded by protesters who came right up to my face and called me a war criminal and a Nazi. They refused to leave, they were masked. One of them made a threat about having my head chopped off.’ … a petition by City Action for Palestine was launched calling for Professor Ben-Gad, who teaches economics, to be fired ‘immediately’.  The group also demanded an apology and for the university ‘to consider such fundamental matters when hiring in the future’. ‘Asylum Seeker’ Jailed After Developing Sudden Urge To Go On Bizarre Rampage At Oxford University – “An asylum seeker has been jailed for nearly two years for stealing from an Oxford University college and bizarrely ‘biting’ an extremely rare plant. Faida Elhabib stole nearly £3,000 worth of items from Magdalen College and damaged extremely rare plants at Oxford’s Botanic Gardens, a court heard. Oxford Crown Court was told the 31-year-old, originally from Morocco, stole jewellery, electronics and food from The Professor’s House at Magdalen College. Elhabib also broke into a greenhouse at the neighbouring Botanic Gardens, damaging ‘extremely rare’ and unique plants in June last year. He was jailed for 21 months… Though the value of the damage caused to the rare plants was unknown, one of them was described as being the only one of its kind.” Read more.

Teacher Banned From Teaching After Criticizing Islamic Honor Killings During Lesson – “A TEACHER who ‘mocked’ the religion of pupils during a lesson on honour killings has been banned indefinitely. Mr Alex Lloyd, formerly of The Bishop of Winchester Academy, has been banned from teaching following the outcome of a teacher misconduct hearing from September 29 to October 1. One of the allegations found proven was that, in 2022, during a lesson focused on honour killings, Mr Lloyd told Pupil A that the lesson on honour killings was a ‘serious matter which affected their culture specifically and that they should pay attention’, or words to that effect. He also said to Pupil B ‘imagine this was your mum being killed’ or words to that effect, which was recalled in a statement from a fellow pupil. The pupil added that Mr Lloyd ‘targeted pupils during the lesson’ and she could see other pupils were ‘visibly upset’ because their religion had been ‘mocked’…” Read more.
