Site – “Amidst ongoing media reports of two explosions in the American city of Boston, Massachusetts, near the finish line of the marathon race on April 15, 2013, jihadists expressed their joy and hoped the blasts are acts of jihadi terrorism.

One forum member noted that over a week ago, a jihadist announced his desire to plan bombings in the United States, but was chastised by others for revealing such a plot publicly. He is referring to a posting on the Ansar al-Mujahideen forum on April 1 in which a jihadist tried to recruit members for an attack similar in impact to al-Qaeda’s 9/11 strikes, but seemed focused on the attack being a suicide bombing. In other posts responding to the explosions, on the Ansar al-Mujahideen, al-Fida’ and Shumukh al-Islam forums, jihadists gave pictures circulated in the media of the aftermath, showing injured people and a bloody sidewalk, and some hoped more bombings will follow.

Administrators of Shumukh al-Islam, a top-tier jihadist forum and primary source for official messages from al-Qaeda, placed a two scrolling messages atop the forum, the first stating: “Urgent // Casualties and Injuries in an Explosion that Shook the US State of Boston, and a State of Panic and Chaos Spreads Across America in General,” and the second giving an oft-repeated statement from former al-Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden: ‘I swear by Allah the Great, who raised the sky without pillars, that America and those who live in America will not dream of security until we live it as a reality in Palestine and until all the disbelieving armies are expelled from the land of Muhammad, Allah’s peace and prayer be upon him.’

‘Stay Home … Don’t Congregate In Large Crowds’: Third Explosion Confirmed At JFK Library, President To Address Nation Tonight

No absolute confirmation that this incident is related to the Boston Marathon explosions, but the timing is highly suspicious …

By Dave Wedge and Joe Dwinell, The Boston Herald – “A third explosion occurred just after 3 this afternoon at John F. Kennedy library in what is now being called another confirmed attack.

Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis said ‘a third incident — explosion — was at the JFK Library’ on Columbia Point.

‘This is very much an ongoing event,’ Davis said. ‘Stay home … don’t congregate in large crowds.’

Shortly around 3 p.m. alarms went off at the library and black smoke poured from the historic building, filling the sky over the harbor.

The fire broke out as emergency crews were responding to two deadly explosions at the Marathon finish line.

JFK library director Tom Putnam was aware of the damage to the building, but said no injuries were reported.

Boston ladder trucks rushed to the scene and firefighters could be seen on the roof.

A large group gathered at the entrance to the library which is completely torched and covered in black soot.

John Boutin of Raynham was walking along the Harborwalk when he saw the smoke.

‘All of a sudden I heard the alarms go off and looked up and saw thick black smoke. It was very thick and it was very black.'” Source – The Boston Herald.

President to address nation after Boston explosions – “President Obama scheduled a press conference to address the nation after a pair of explosions killed two and injured dozens at the Boston Marathon today. The president is scheduled to speak at 5:10 Central Time, according to the White House. Obama was briefed on Monday’s explosions by FBI Director Robert Mueller and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. The White House said the president also spoke with Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino and pledged to provide whatever federal support was needed in responding to the incident.” Read more.

Eyewitness: ‘Blood Everywhere’ After Powerful Explosions Near Boston Marathon Finish Line, Multiple Deaths Reported

Apparently the Boston Marathon headquarters have been locked down. The explosion was powerful enough to be felt blocks away. Reports are indicating that a number of victims have lost limbs and there have been multiple deaths. The suspect — a Muslim man from Saudi Arabia — is being held under guard at a local Boston hospital with shrapnel wounds.   More details to come …

Update: One reporter on Fox 25 in Boston says she believes a third explosion was heard in the distance (this may have been the controlled explosion of a possible third bomb reported by CBS). NY Post is reporting at least 12 have been killed after initial two explosions …

Update: Fortunately, the official death count remains at 3, however over 260 have been wounded …

Reuters – “Two explosions struck the Boston Marathon as runners crossed the finish line on Monday, witnesses said, injuring an unknown number of people on what is ordinarily a festive day in the city.

Police reported at least one explosion and witnesses said there were two, which hit as spectators were cheering on runners finishing the race.

Reporters in the media center heard two blasts.

‘There was an explosion. Police, fire and EMS (emergency medical services) are on the scene, we have no indication of how many people are injured,’ a spokeswoman for the Boston Police Department said.

Mike Mitchell of Vancouver, Canada, a runner who had finished the race, said he was looking back at the finish line and saw a ‘massive explosion.’

Smoke rose 50 feet in the air, Mitchell said. People began running and screaming after hearing the noise, Mitchell said.

‘Everybody freaked out,’ Mitchell said.

Television images showed ambulances, fire trucks and dozens of police vehicles near the finish line.

Hundreds of thousands of spectators typically line the 26.2 mile race course, with the heaviest crowds near the finish line.” Read more.

There it seems to be assuming the same significance as the Stephen Lawrence trial in Britain, in other words a case that the multicult elite seizes on and instrumentalises to advance its political agenda. And the Turkish government is doing the same.

The trial of the one surviving member of the group is due to start soon in Munich. Some recent drama there has focused on the question of whether Turkish journalists should be admitted to the proceedings. Journalist slots for attendance at the trial were allocated as they normally are in Germany, on a first come/first served basis. This wasn’t good enough for the Turks, none of whom applied in time. The Turkish government has created a diplomatic fuss about this and the dhimmi German elites, as usual, have cravenly appeased them. After a case brought by a Turkish magazine, the German Supreme Court ordered Munich’s High Court to grant a reasonable number of places to representatives of foreign media.

But the appeasement hasn’t stopped there. More than a million euros was spent preparing the court for the trial. Note one of the very interesting changes made. The crucifix has been removed from the court room!

By Joe Newby, Examiner – “According to a letter written by Ron Trowbridge, undersheriff with the Prowers County, Colo., Sheriff’s Office, Christians who believe the Bible is the literal word of God and others who do not agree with the changes taking place in America could find themselves under scrutiny by law enforcement authorities and Homeland Security, Steven H. Ahle wrote at Red Statements Friday.

Trowbridge, a law enforcement officer with many years of experience, told Ahle that he recently attended a training session in La Junta, Colo., where, he says, Colorado State Patrol Trooper Joe Kluczynski gave a 2-hour presentation on the ‘sovereign citizen’ movement.

‘Kluczynski spent most of his two hours focusing on how, in his view and apparently the view of Homeland Security, people turn to the sovereign citizen movement,’ he wrote.

According to the FBI, the ‘sovereign citizen movement’ is made up of ‘anti-government extremists who believe that even though they physically reside in this country, they are separate or ‘sovereign’ from the United States.’

These people, the FBI says, do not believe they have to answer to any government authority and can cause a number of problems for law enforcement authorities.

But according to Trowbridge’s letter, Kluczynski went much further, including ‘those who believe America was founded on godly principles, Christians who take the Bible literally, and ‘fundamentalists’.’

‘Kluczynski did not explain what he meant by ‘fundamentalists’ but from the context it was clear he was referring again to those who took the Bible literally or ‘too seriously,” he added.

These people, Kluczynski reportedly said, have a right to their beliefs, but needed to be monitored by law enforcement authorities.

Trowbridge said that according to Kluczynski, these individuals and groups are ‘dangerous’ because they are ‘angry over the election of a black president.’

When an attendee suggested the economy was probably more to blame, Kluczynski “intimated that those who are not going along with the changes in America will need to be controlled by law enforcement,’ Trowbridge added.” Read more.

Mystery In Michigan: Series Of ‘Loud Booms’ Talk Of The Town In Union City

WWMT – “The calls started to flood into the Branch County 911 Center around midnight. Each one reporting deafening loud booms and everyone believed the boom happened somewhere close.

‘We just heard a really loud bang outside our house and me and my kids are really scared, I don’t know what it is and now we’re afraid to outside,’ says one caller.

‘I didn’t see anything but I heard a big boom…it was like a big boom like someone was kicking in the door,’ says another caller.

It was the talk of the town in Union City Wednesday, everyone with their own theories on what caused it.

‘It sounded like a cannon going off is the only way I can describe it, kind of like a thunder boom but it was only the one time,’ says Michelle Reincke who lives in Union City.

‘I think it’s aliens to tell you the truth, I think it’s aliens coming down to earth see us,’ says Tomika Dow.

And adding to the mystery, this is not the first time. One night last may the booms woke people up in Branch County and were heard all the way to Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties.

‘It’s the same time as last year, we had these loud crashing noises like either an explosion or a sonic boom kind of an earthquake,’ says Cynthia Shattuck.

There were no earthquakes recorded in the area overnight, the National Guard base in Battle Creek says there were no flights there last night.” Source – WWMT.

‘We find this offensive to have Evangelical Christians and the Catholic Church to be listed among known terrorist groups,’ said Ron Crews, executive director of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty. ‘It is dishonorable for any U.S. military entity to allow this type of wrongheaded characterization.’

The incident occurred during an Army Reserve Equal Opportunity training brief on extremism. Topping the list is Evangelical Christianity. Other organizations listed included Catholicism, Al Qaeda, Hamas, the Ku Klux Klan, Sunni Muslims, and Nation of Islam.

By Jenny Yuen, Toronto Sun – “When a single dad signed his nine-year-old daughter up for female-only swim lessons, he didn’t realize he — as a man — was going to be banned from watching her practice.

Chris (who didn’t want his last name published) was shocked when he had the blinds to the viewing area of the Dennis R. Timbrell Recreation Centre pool in Flemingdon Park shut on him and then was told by staffers it was for ‘religious reasons.’

‘I spoke to a staff member and she told me that it’s because of Muslim women, that we’re not allowed to look at them or whatever,’ Chris, 38, told the Toronto Sun Friday. ‘I don’t think religion has a role to play in a public pool.’

Chris said he enrolled his daughter online through the city’s website and registered her for the Ultra Swim 1: Female class – a nine-week course offered for free at the community centre.

Nowhere on the form did it mention that males could not watch the lessons.

So, when he showed up with his child at the pool on March 28 and again on Thursday night, he was confused when told he wasn’t allowed to watch.

‘She doesn’t have a lot of friends and I wanted her to swim with girls,’ Chris explained. ‘I don’t know what parent wouldn’t want to watch their child participate. There were other fathers there who weren’t too happy.’

Local Councillor John Parker hadn’t heard of the particular case until the Sun contacted him Friday, but said the dad’s point is a ‘legitimate one’ and raises a ‘fair issue.’ …

Billy Hallowell, The Blaze – “Police in northeast Ohio are investigating a shooting outside a church that left one man dead after an Easter service. And the details may shock you.

A member of the Hiawatha Church of God in Christ said the man was shot soon after Easter services ended, around 1:15 p.m. Sunday. Joan Crockett said the man knew the shooter, and that a suspect was taken into custody.

Media reports — and the police — identified the victim as Richard Riddle, 52, and said his son was the shooter.

Ashtabula Police Chief Robert Stell told the Star Beacon in Ashtabula that dispatchers received multiple calls about the shooting from inside the church and that a mass shooting was feared. He said at least six other law enforcement agencies rushed to assist local police.

The Plain Dealer newspaper in Cleveland reported that the church’s pastor said congregants were leaving when they heard a gunshot. Here’s how WKYC-TV describes the shooting:

Rashad Riddle, waited outside of the church until his family came out. He said a few words before shooting his father, Richard Riddle, who died at the scene. A witness only remembers hearing one shot.

The shooter didn’t leave the scene following the shooting. When police arrived, they told him to put down his gun, which he did. Police then took him into custody.

But here’s where the details get a bit more curious. According to WYTV-TV, the suspected shooter, Rashad Riddle, yelled, ‘The will of Allah — this is the will of God,’ either before or after the murder.” Read more.

Mainstream Media Celebrate Turning Culture Against Nation’s Judeo-Christian Heritage

By Cliff Kincaid, World Tribune – “On the eve of Tuesday’s ‘March for Marriage’ in Washington and Supreme Court consideration of court cases on homosexual rights, more evidence of the media bias driving the campaign to change America’s culture and Judeo-Christian foundations has emerged.

Speaking at a ‘gay journalists’ event in New York City last Thursday night, Natalie Morales of the NBC Today Show declared, ‘Many of us here in this room — the media — we are responsible for opening the world’s eyes to these issues and the stories that have brought about such change. When you think 18 years ago when this organization was founded — think of where the country was back then. And now, 50 percent — according to the Pew poll that we talked about on the news today — support gay marriage, and…some other polls put that number even higher. [This] reflects a change in attitudes in this country.’

This was not just an event where journalists ‘came out of the closet’ for homosexual rights; it was a fundraiser for the cause. Our media paid big money to participate as sponsors and hosts.

My associate Peter LaBarbera and I covered the homosexual rights fundraiser, held in New York City under the auspices of the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA), and saw first-hand that it was a ‘who’s who’ of media stars from every major news organization in the U.S. They also included Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie of NBC, Gayle King of CBS News, Christine Romans of CNN, Amy Robach of ABC News, and Amanda Drury of CNBC.

The really big star of the evening was Natalie Morales of NBC’s Today Show, who told LaBarbera in a brief interview, ‘I think what’s happening here is this is a new civil rights movement… And I believe that they should be allowed to get married and love equally.’

In her remarks to the gathering, she joked about getting a lesbian kiss. ‘Now I have to say I’m a little flustered because on my way in here I was actually in the ladies room, and making out with a woman,’ she said at the start of her remarks.” Read more.

Radio Host: LGBT Rights Make Christians ‘Second-Class Citizens’ – “People are, people are very concerned about, about culture and about values and where things are going in this country. What concerns me, though, Sandy, is the vitriol coming from those who support gay marriage… there seems to be this opinion on the other side that says, you know what, you and I don’t deserve the same rights. You know, it’s as if we’re second-class citizens now because we support the traditional, Biblical definition of marriage, or perhaps we are pro-life, and that means we’re somehow second-class citizens who don’t deserve to be in the public marketplace of ideas.” Read more.

Obama’s Religious Freedom Appointee Involved In Muslim Event Calling For Limiting Freedom Of Speech

By Elizabeth Harrington, CNS News – “America’s free-speech model is in desperate need of an update, says an American-Muslim human rights activist who recently spoke at an event linked to an Obama administration appointee.

Dr. Qasim Rashid argued that cyber-bullying laws could be used to limit freedom of expression – such as the burning of Korans — in war time:

‘When a nation is at war, many things that might be said in times of peace are a hindrance to this effort,’ Rashid said on March 19 at Howard University.  ‘And their utterance will not be endured so long as men fight and…no court can regard them as protected by any constitutional right.’

Rashid began his remarks by personally thanking Dr. Azizah al-Hibri, appointed by President Barack Obama to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) in June 2011. Al-Hibri founded Karamah, a group devoted to the rights of Muslim women, and it was this group that invited Rashid to speak.

‘I do want to start by thanking Karamah,’ Rashid said.  ‘I was fortunate enough to have several constitutional scholars look at this paper and provide feedback. Dr. al-Hibri, of course…’

The topic of the March 19 event at Howard University was titled, ‘The Limits of Free Speech in a Global Era: Does America’s Free Speech Model Endanger Muslim Americans?’

‘Our understanding of free speech today is not some long-held 227- or 235-year understanding,’ said Rashid, a member of the Muslim Writers Guild of America, who presented a paper titled ‘In Harm’s Way: The Desperate Need to Update America’s Current Free Speech Model.’

Rashid quoted Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who in 2011 said, ‘Free speech is a great idea, but we’re in a war.’

Advances in technology that allow videos and messages to cross the world in an instant require a ‘revised speech model,’ Rashid said.

‘Most, if not all of you are familiar with the 2011 case where Terry Jones, a pastor from Florida, burned a Koran on March 20, 2011, and this event itself provides a prime example of the gap that advanced technology caused in America’s free speech model,’ Rashid said.

‘So in addition to placing a big sign on his church lawn that said Islam is the devil, Jones burned the Koran, screened it live on the Internet and put in layman’s translations so that people in war-torn [areas] in particular can see what he’s doing,’ he continued.  ‘Now like the hypothetical KKK member who might burn a cross on his black neighbor’s lawn to target him specifically, Jones did the exact same thing by burning the Koran — broadcast it and targeted Muslims in a war- torn country…to target them specifically.’

Rashid noted that government officials warned Jones that his actions might provoke violence, and while Jones said he knew it, he burned the Koran anyway, sparking deadly protests in Afghanistan and a condemnation by Pakistan’s government.
