JPost – “The Simon Wiesenthal Center on Friday called on US President Barack Obama to publicly condemn the latest call for jihad against Israel by the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood’s Supreme Guide Mohammed Badie and to sever all contacts with the organization until the threat is withdrawn.

The Center’s call comes after Badie reportedly said in his weekly message to supporters that ‘The Jews have…spread corruption on earth [and] spilled the blood of believers,’ and therefore Arabs Should confront the Jewish state ‘Through holy jihad, high sacrifices and all forms of resistance.’

In a joint statement, Rabbis Marvin Hier and Abraham Cooper, respectively founder and dean and associate dean of the Center, denounced Badie, saying his ‘rant confirms our long held view that Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood is the most dangerous anti-Semitic organization in the world today.’

According to the statement, ‘We are not dealing with a Youtube video or a lone extremist Imam, but a call to anti-Semitic violence by a man who has tens of millions of followers and leads the organization that controls Egypt’s future. It cannot be business as usual in Washington when such an assault is launched against the Jewish people.’

They concluded by urging ‘President Obama to condemn the rhetoric and cut off all official and unofficial US contacts with the Muslim Brotherhood until they desist from their hate and war mongering.'” Source – The Jerusalem Post.

By Christopher William, The Telegraph – “In a submission to forthcoming international talks on internet governance, the Gulf state said ‘there is a crying need for international collaboration to address ‘freedom of expression’ which clearly disregards public order’.

During the controversy over a 14-minute clip posted on YouTube and purportedly a trailer for a feature film called ‘The Innocence of Muslims’, Google resisted pressure, including from the White House, to remove it.

‘This video – which is widely available on the web – is clearly within our guidelines and so will stay on YouTube,’ Google said last month.

The Saudi government has now told the World Telecommunications Policy Forum, a UN body, that the incident was ‘an obvious example’ of the need for greater international cooperation to restrict content online.

‘Any reasonable person would know that this film would foment violence and, indeed, many innocent persons have died and been injured with this film as a root cause,’ the Saudi submission said…

The submission highlights increasing interest in internet governance discussions from nations that do not share Western liberal values, as access to and the influence of the web grows.” Read more.

Flashback: Thinking They Can Change Western Laws, Muslim-Led Nations Seek To Implement Global Ban On Insults Of Muhammad – “As the U.N. General Assembly convenes this week in New York, several leaders of mostly Muslim nations are suggesting that the world body consider sanctions on blasphemy, amid widespread protests against an amateur movie that denigrates Islam’s Prophet Muhammad. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said he will focus at least part of his remarks on the film when he addresses the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday.” Read more.

Pat Dollard – “U.S. Army Lieutenant General (Ret.) William ‘Jerry’ Boykin, in a recent World Net Daily radio interview, confirmed that people with high security clearances connected to the Muslim Brotherhood hold important positions in every major federal agency including the Pentagon and the Department of Defense.

The Muslim Brotherhood is a radical Islamist organization that has vowed the destruction of America from within.

General Boykin has the credentials to back up his conclusions. He was one of the original members of the U.S. Army’s Delta Force which he ultimately led in combat operations. He also served a tour in the CIA during which time he participated in clandestine operations throughout the world. He served his last four years in the Army as Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence.

Lt. Gen. Boykin, who currently serves as Executive Vice President of the Family Research Council, blasted Republicans for condemning Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., who sounded the alarm by questioning the Brotherhood ties of Huma Abedin, a top assistant to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Boykin said that neither Republicans nor Democrats want to protest too loudly over concerns of being branded intolerant.

The Thomas More Law Center now represents LTC Matthew Dooley, a 1994 graduate of the U. S. Military Academy at West Point.

GEN Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff had LTC Dooley fired as an instructor at the Joint Forces Staff College in order to appease Muslim groups and the White House who wanted all training materials offensive to Islam purged and all trainers using those materials disciplined.” Source – Pat Dollard.

By KATHERINE JANE O’NEILL – “More Arab women are joining a women’s rights movement group to demand change and equality.

While revolutions swept through some Arab countries and toppled dictators in all of Tunisia and Egypt, women were still mistreated by both the revolutionists who promised fundamental change as well as regime supporters.

Four females hailing from different Arab states used Facebook to start the ‘Uprising of Women in the Arab World’ movement on October 1, 2011 to lift oppression and break silence and fear endured by Arab women.

Diala Haidar, one of the founders of the woman movement, further defined the movement’s objective and that’s to bring awareness to the region about women rights violations.

Haidar told Al Arabiya that the movement is on to prove ‘women’s rights are equal to that of human rights, and human rights violations are not something to be silenced about.’

The movement which started in Lebanon soon spread to other neighboring Arab countries such as Syria, Morocco, Egypt with Palestine having the highest number of women recruits.

‘We were frustrated to see women protesters were being physically abused or harassed by both the followers of the regime and the revolutionaries,’ said Yalda Younes, another founder of the movement. ‘Not only women’s rights were still not a priority on the list of the revolutionaries, but they were even regressing.’

Since the mark of its first anniversary, the group launched their first campaign urging women from all around the world to upload their photos holding different messages in Arabic to show their support and solidarity to Arab women.

‘We decided to launch a campaign that would put faces to our demands,’ Younes said.

The movement, which was started by four women, who came together from different parts of the Arab world: Haidar and Younes from Lebanon, Sally Zohney from Egypt, and Farah Barqawi from Palestine, was able to recruit people from different backgrounds, age, gender and religions.

‘This shows that in many Arab countries we suffer from the same problems and those problems are rooted in a similar culture independent from political regimes,’ she added.

Haidar also pointed to the cultural and social similarity shared among Arabs.

‘There is a dictator in every household, whether it’s a father, brother, husband or even a son,’ she said, adding ‘women are still looked down at.'” Read more.

The Express Tribune – “Film-makers in Hollywood are terrified of inciting further retribution against America over a string of new films showing the US mission to kill Osama Bin Laden.

The shooting for two films is complete and they are scheduled for release before Christmas, with a third awaiting the go-ahead. All are under scrutiny after protests across the Islamic world and the killing of the US ambassador in the Libyan city of Benghazi over the anti-Islam US film on Prophet Muhammad… according to the Daily Express.

At least one fearful studio has asked an Islamic cleric to vet its script. Senior executives at another studio have entered into intense briefing sessions with US State Department officials to minimise or expunge any content which otherwise might be viewed as offensive.

Filmmakers are worried that fundamentalists could target cinemas where the films are playing, with one admitting: ‘We are even asking if we dare release anything on this subject.'” Source – The Express Tribune.

Family Security Matters – “In the Spring of this year, US Army Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Dooley was condemned by the Joints Chiefs of Staff (JCS) and relieved of teaching duties at Joint Forces Staff College for teaching a course judged to be offensive to Islam.

The course he taught, Perspectives on Islam and Islamic Radicalism, was an elective course that Lt. Col. Dooley’s superiors judged as presenting Islam in a negative way. His superiors were persuaded to come to this conclusion after receiving an October 2011 letter in which 57 Muslim organizations claimed to be offended by the course.

The fact that Lt. Col. Dooley is a highly decorated combat veteran with  nearly 20 years of service under his belt apparently held little or no sway with the JCS.  As a matter of fact, JCS Chairman General Martin Dempsey ‘personally attacked‘ Lt. Col. Dooley on C-Span on May 10, 2012, during a Pentagon News Conference.” Source – Family Security Matters.

Flashback: American Military Continues to Submit to Islam: Cross Removed at Base in Afghanistan – “A large cross that had been prominently displayed outside a chapel on an isolated military base in northern Afghanistan was taken down last week, prompting outrage from some American service members stationed there. ‘We are here away from our families, and the chapel is the one place that feels like home’ … ‘With the cross on the outside, it is a constant reminder for all of us that Jesus is here for us.’ ‘Not having it there is really upsetting,’ added another. ‘I walk by the chapel daily on the way to chow and the gym, and seeing the cross is a daily reminder of my faith and what Jesus accomplished for me.’” Read more.
