Indonesia: Up To 75% Of Christians Forced To Flee Aceh Regency After Muslims Destroy Church

Hundreds upon hundreds of devout followers on fire for Allah went out seeking to spread the peaceful message of Islam to local Christians. Unfortunately, another church burst into flames in the process …

The Jakarta Post – “Thousands of people, mostly Christians, have left Aceh Singkil regency, Aceh, for neighboring regencies in North Sumatra after an Islamic group attacked a village and set fire to a church.

The attackers, grouped under the Aceh Singkil Islamic Care Youth Students Association (PPI), arrived in Suka Makmur village, Gunung Meriah district, Aceh Singkil, in several trucks on Tuesday afternoon and set alight the Huria Kristen Indonesia (HKI) Church, which they considered to be unlicensed.

Hundreds of police and military officers who had earlier been deployed to the village failed to prevent the attack as they were outnumbered. One of the attackers, identified as Samsul, was shot dead when Christians, the majority in the village, tried to defend their church.

Samsul, 21, a resident of Bulu Sema village, Suro Makmur, died from an air rifle wound, while three other attackers were injured and were taken to the regency’s general hospital for treatment.

The church was one of 10 in the regency that was protested by the Islamic group. At a recent meeting at the regency office between the protesters, the churches’ board members and local officials, it was reportedly agreed that the churches would be demolished on Oct. 19.

After the attack, about 75 percent of the villagers moved to other areas, with many houses in Suka Makmur left empty and locked up.

‘We are still afraid that an incident could occur again if [the situation is] not handled properly,’ congregation member Silaban said on Wednesday.

The police recorded that 3,433 people had moved to Central Tapanuli regency and 976 to Pakpak Bharat regency, both in North Sumatra.

Many parties have denounced the attack in Aceh, the only province in the country to implement sharia.

‘Stop violence in Aceh Singkil. Any act of violence, whatever the reasons behind it, not to mention if it is related to religion and faith, will kill diversity — Jkw,’ President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo said on Wednesday on his Twitter account @jokowi.

Jokowi has ordered Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and National Police chief Gen. Badrodin Haiti to take immediate action to stop violence and promote peace in the regency.

Badrodin acknowledged that the National Police had foreseen such an attack but had not readied enough security personnel on Tuesday to protect the church from the attackers, estimated to have numbered 500 to 700 people.” Read more.

Early historical sources — both Muslim and non-Muslim — make clear that the Islamic empire was forged by the sword; that people embraced Islam, not so much out of sincere faith, but for a myriad of reasons — from converting in order to enjoy the boons of being on the ‘winning team’ to converting in order to evade the dooms of being on the ‘losing team.’

Modern day Muslims and other apologists — primarily in academia, government, and mainstream media — reject this idea.  They argue that the non-Muslims who embraced Islam did so from sheer conviction; that the ancestors of today’s 1.5 billion Muslims all converted to Islam due to its intrinsic appeal; that the modern day coercion and persecution committed by the Islamic State and other organizations is an aberration.

Of course, as mentioned, the primary texts of history are full of anecdotes demonstrating the opposite.  However, because ours is an increasingly ahistorical society, in this essay I endeavor to show that sheer common sense alone validates what history records, namely, that the Islamic world and its populace was forged through violent coercion.

To do so, I will use Egypt — one of the most important Muslim majority nations and my ancestral homeland — as a paradigm.  I will show how a historic fact that Islam’s apologists habitually boast of — that there are still millions of Christians in Egypt (approximately 10% of the population) — is not proof of Islam’s tolerance but rather its intolerance.

In the 7th century, when Islam was being formulated, Egypt had been Christian for centuries,[1] before most of Europe had converted.  Alexandria was one of the most important ecclesiastical centers of ancient Christian learning and, along with Rome and Antioch, one of the original three sees.[2]  Much literary and ongoing archeological evidence attest to the fact that Christianity permeated the whole of Egypt.

Writing around the year 400—roughly two-and-a-half centuries before the Arab invasion—John Cassian, a Christian monk from the region of modern day Romania, observed that

the traveler from Alexandria in the north to Luxor in the south would have in his ears along the whole journey, the sounds of prayers and hymns of the monks, scattered in the desert, from the monasteries and from the caves, from monks, hermits, and anchorites.[3]

And in recent times, both the oldest parchment to contain words from the Gospel (dating to the 1st century) and the oldest image of Christ were discovered in separate regions of Egypt.

The question now becomes: what made such an ancient and heavily Christian nation become Islamic?  More specifically, what made the ancestors of today’s Egyptian Muslims — most of who were Coptic Christians — convert to Islam?

FOX News – “Terrorists struck around the world Friday, beheading a man in France, gunning down dozens on a beach in Tunisia and launching a suicide attack on a mosque in Kuwait, in a series of attacks that followed an ISIS leaders’ call to make the month of Ramadan a time of ‘calamity for the infidels.’

There was no confirmation that any of the attacks were ordered by ISIS, although the suspects who attacked a U.S.-owned gas factory in southeastern France left the terrorist army’s flags next to the severed head of their victim. If the attacks were indeed an answer to ISIS spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani’s recent call for savagery, it would represent a hideous perversion of Islam’s most holy period, which began June 17 and ends July 17.

Jihadists should make Ramadan a time of ‘calamity for the infidels … Shi’ites and apostate Muslims,’ Al-Adnani said in a recent audio message. ‘Muslims everywhere, we congratulate you over the arrival of the holy month. Be keen to conquer in this holy month and to become exposed to martyrdom.’

The attack in France occurred first, at 9:50 a.m. local time in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, northwest of the Alpine city of Grenoble. Two suspects dressed as deliverymen crashed a car into an industrial gas plant operated by Allentown, Pa.,-based Air Products & Chemicals, stormed inside and killed at least one person. The head of the victim was left on a fence, with Arabic phrases scrawled on it and ISIS flags nearby, Sky News reported, citing French legal sources.

The unnamed victim was a businessman at a local transportation company and the boss of a man arrested in connection with the attack.

Nearly simultaneously, two gunmen attacked two hotels in a Tunisian coastal town popular with British tourists, killing at least 28 and wounding 36. The Health Ministry said the dead include Tunisians, Brits, Germans and Belgians.

A third attack killed at least 16 in a Shia mosque in Kuwait City. ISIS is comprised of Sunni Muslims, and its members have a long and bloody history with Shia Muslims, as evidenced by Al-Adnani’s call. The attack came immediately following Friday prayers.” Read more.

Libya: 30 More Christians Beheaded And Shot To Death For The Glory Of “Allah” By ISIS

The 29-minute video, titled ‘Until It Came To Them – Clear Evidence’, shows dozens of militants holding two separate groups captive, thought to be in the south and the west of the country.

At least 16 men, described by Islamic State as the ‘followers of the cross from the enemy Ethiopian Church’, are lined up and shot in a desert area while 12 others are filmed being forced to walk down a beach before being beheaded.

This follows another video in February of the beheading of a group of 21 Coptic Christians on the beach in Libya, though that terrain was rockier than the one shown in the latest film.

It raises fears that ISIS is consolidating its presence on the ‘doorstep of Europe’, as Libya is just a few hundred miles from the coast of Italy.

Ethiopia was unable to confirm its citizens were killed in the footage but condemned the ‘atrocious act’, a government official said.

The video shows the men at the coast wearing Guantanamo-style orange jumpsuits and being held at the neck by fighters in combats with balaclavas covering their faces. The victims inland are forced to kneel as militants dressed in combats and green masks stand behind them holding rifles.

It starts with what it called a ‘history of Christian-Muslim relations’, which includes scenes of militants destroying churches, graves and icons.

Norway Hoax: Media Fabricates 20 Muslims Holding Hands Into A 1,000-Strong “Ring Of Peace” Around Oslo Synagogue

It’s “dhimmediatude.” Although it is very commendable to see 20 Muslims standing around an Oslo synagogue for what appears to be truly peaceful purposes, something remains woefully wrong within the Islamic community when a city that is home to over 52,000 Muslims can manage to draw just 20 of them in a show of solidarity with the local Jewish community. And what’s woefully wrong is Islam itself …

By Jordan Schachtel, Breitbart – “The weekend’s feel-good story about a Muslim ‘ring of peace’ formed to ‘protect’ Jews at an Oslo synagogue turned out to be a complete fabrication by the mainstream media, according to an eyewitness report, local officials, and attendees’ photos.

According to a local eyewitness, only about 20 or so Muslims formed the ‘ring of peace’ around the Oslo synagogue. In fact, pictures from multiple angles show that there wasn’t enough people to form a ring, so the locals instead formed a horizontal line in front of the synagogue.

A local news outlet explained how the media got to its ‘1,300 Muslims’ number. ‘According to police, there were 1300 persons present in the event. Very many of them ethnic Norwegians,’ read a translated report from Osloby.no.

Demonstrators also reportedly chanted, ‘No to anti-Semitism, no to Islamophobia,’ conflating criticism of Islam and hatred of Jews.

Photos pulled off of social media appear to corroborate the narrative that only twenty or so people formed the ‘peace ring.’

Multiple news outlets, including wire services for hundreds of news sites, ran with the false narrative that 1,000 or more people–sometimes all of them Muslim–formed the ring of peace outside of the Oslo synagogue.

The AP incorrectly reported, ‘More than 1,000 people have formed a ‘ring of peace’ outside Oslo’s main synagogue at the initiative of a group of young Muslims.’

AFP reports almost identically, ‘More than 1,000 people formed a ‘ring of peace’ Saturday outside Oslo’s main synagogue at the initiative of a group of young Muslims.’ The newswire agency has no excuse for the false report, as it had a photographer taking shots of the ‘ring’ at the scene–and one shows a man who appears to be at the end of the line of hand-holders, with his left hand in his pocket.” Read more.

Another Saudi Cleric Rejects Fact That Earth Revolves Around The Sun

The earth revolving around the sun is observable and irrefutable science. But Islam’s scientific method has evidently replaced definitive observation with divine obligation. If the “prophet of Allah” says the sun runs its course around the earth, then all true Muslims are obliged to believe it. After all, “Allah” knows best …

Qur’an Sura 36:38, “And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.”

Al Arabiya News – “A Saudi cleric has appeared in a recent video rejecting the fact that the Earth revolves around the Sun and claiming the opposite holds true, prompting a wave of social media remarks.

Answering a student question on whether the Earth is stationary or moving, Sheikh Bandar al-Khaibari replied: ‘stationary and does not move.’

He then attempted to support his argument by quoting some clerics and selected religious statements. But his most controversial method to debunk the rotation theory was a ‘logical’ deduction in which he used a visual.

‘First of all, where are we now? we go to Sharjah airport to travel to China by plane, clear?! focus with me, this is Earth;’ he said, holding a sealed water cup.

He argued that if a plane stops still in air ‘China would be coming towards it’ in case the Earth rotates on one direction. It the Earth rotates on opposite direction, the plane would never reach China, because ‘China is also rotating.’

In separate statements Sheikh al-Khaibari said man never went to the moon, rejecting NASA’s lunar excursion video as Hollywood fabrication.

The video of the sheikh triggered a wave of controversial remarks on social media, especially on Twitter, where a special hashtag is being widely circulated. The hashtag translates as: ‘#cleric_rejects_rotation_of_Earth

In an interesting remark, one user tweeted: ‘What a coincidence that this would occur on Galileo’s birthday!'” Read more.

Dr. Mordechai Kedar, INN – “One of the things that worries the West is the fact that hundreds and maybe even thousands of young Europeans are converting to Islam, and some of them are joining terror groups and ISIS and returning to promote Jihad against the society in which they were born, raised and educated. The security problem posed by these young people is a serious one, because if they hide their cultural identity, it is extremely difficult for Western security forces to identify them and their evil intentions. This article will attempt to clarify the reasons that impel these young people to convert to Islam and join terrorist organizations.

The sources for this article are recordings made by the converts themselves, and the words they used, written here, are for the most part unedited direct quotations.

Many of the converts are convinced that Islam is a religion of peace, love, affection and friendship, based on the generous hospitality and warm welcome they receive from the Moslem friends in their new social milieu. In many instances, a young person born into an individualistic, cold and alienating society finds that Muslim society provides  – at college, university or  community center – a warm embrace, a good word, encouragement and help, things that are lacking in the society from which he stems. The phenomenon is most striking in the case of those who grew up in dysfunctional families or divorced homes, whose parents are alcoholics, drug addicts, violent and abusive, or parents who take advantage of their offspring and did not give their children a suitable emotional framework and model for building a normative, productive life.

The convert sees his step as a mature one based on the right of an individual to determine his own religious and cultural identity, even if the family and society he is abandoning disagree. Sometimes converting to Islam is a form of parental rebellion. Often, the convert is spurned by his family and surrounding society for his decision, but the hostility felt towards Islam by his former environment actually results in his having more confidence in the need for his conversion. Anything said against conversion to Islam is interpreted as unjustified racism and baseless Islamophobia.

Gaza: Mummified Corpses Of Animals Litter Palestinian “Zoo”, Owner Blames The Jews

Where Islam thrives, everything else slowly dies. Yet somehow it’s always the Jews’ fault …

Inquisitr – “In what may be the world’s worst zoo, animals have been left to die in enclosures without food or water. Once caretakers return to the zoo, the animals who have passed are embalmed and put back on display. Why are the animals left alone to die without care? The zoo is located in the Gaza Strip.

The Daily Mail reports that the owner of the zoo, Mohammed Awaida, claims that caretakers are sometimes unable to get to the zoo to care for the animals for long periods of time due to the Palestinian and Israeli conflict. Therefore, South Forest Park Zoo in Khan Yunis is home to dozens of animals who will die a terrible death from improper care and treatment.

Awaida says he purchases all of the animals for the zoo online. He then smuggles the creatures into the Gaza Strip through the illegal tunneling system. He notes that he, at times, must pay bribes to get the animals to his location. However, the steep price tag doesn’t seem to sway his purchase of the exotic animals.

In the special report video above, Awaida says that it isn’t just deaths by lack of care that the animals must endure. The owner claims that some of the animals die as a result of chemicals being launched into the air during the conflict.

Dozens of animals have died at the Gaza Zoo, but Awaida has no plans to stop smuggling in animals as he can embalm them and continue to have them on display. Awaida took an online course on taxidermy so that he could embalm the animals himself after they died. He is able to then continue to display them in the zoo enclosures.

When anything depicting Islam’s “prophet” is produced today half way around the world by non-Muslims, the “Religion of Peace” is compelled to protest in any way but one that is peaceful. Aside from being considered their prophet, however, what else makes the man Mohammed so different from every other prophet in the eyes of Muslims? As Jake Neuman on Islam Watch once noted, “There are 91 verses in the Quran that say: obeying God is obeying Muhammad and obeying Muhammad is obeying God … Therefore, Muhammad and Allah have the same standing in Islam, are equal to each other.” One of the reasons why Muslims are taught to despise the West — which they view as Christian — is because we associate Jesus with God, making Jesus a co-equal “partner” with the Almighty. The Divinity of Jesus (meaning “Salvation”) and whose image we are being conformed to (Romans 8:29) is one of the foundational tenets of Christianity. According to the teachings of Islam, this belief is an unpardonable sin that “Allah” will never forgive. Although Muslims would never teach that Mohammed is “Allah” in the flesh, however, Islam associates and equates its own “prophet” with “Allah” himself, claiming that “Allah” has no partners on one hand while teaching that one cannot become a Muslim unless they acknowledge that “There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger” per the Shahada on the other. As such, Islam teaches that a Muslim’s own “salvation” is entirely determined by their obedience and devotion to Mohammed, effectively elevating the “prophet” of Islam to a “Christ-like” co-equal status with Islam’s own deity. To acknowledge “Allah” is simply not enough. You must acknowledge the “perfect man” Mohammed — and be conformed to his image — as well …

Charisma News – “The Christian community in Niger says it is in shock in the wake of weekend violence that has claimed the lives of 10 people and led to the destruction of dozens of places of worship and Christian homes.

The protest, which started in the country’s second city, Zinder, on Friday, Jan. 16, quickly spread to surrounding areas before reaching the capital Niamey on Saturday.

Ten people have died, and 45 churches burned down in the two days of violence, the police say. But information gathered by World Watch Monitor revealed that more than 70 churches have been destroyed, along with numerous Christian schools and organizations, including an orphanage ‘The Good Samaritan’ run by the Assembly of God Church. The 40 children of the orphanage are currently in ‘disarray’ under the care of police.

Over 30 Christian homes were believed to be looted and burnt down. Those affected say the violence has left them with ‘only the clothes on our backs.’

Pastor Zakaria Jadi, whose church was among the destroyed buildings, told the BBC he was meeting with the elders when he heard about the attacks.

‘I just rushed and told my colleagues in the church to take their families away from the place. I took my family out from the place … When I came back, I just discovered that everything has gone. There’s nothing in my house and also nothing in the church.'” Read more.

Report: The Last Words Of The Pilot Of The Crashed AirAsia Plane Was “Allahu Akbar!”

Listening to the audio of the pilot’s final words gave investigators goose bumps, according to New Straits Times Online. Was “Allah is greater!” nothing more than simply an innocent Muslim pilot facing imminent death, or were his last words indicative of a much darker motive? The fact that at least 41 of the passengers were known to be Christians from the same church, and from a nation like Indonesia where Muslims are increasingly hostile against Christianity, certainly raises eyebrows …

‘It is as if we can feel them… Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar were the last words said before they died’ says Nurcahyo Utomo, who has been an aviation investigator for almost two decades as he listened to the black box recording. We did a whole video on this:

“Call me an Islamophobe, but when I research the pilot from the missing flight QZ8501, Captain Iriyanto, I access the local news in Indonesian, not in English. There I find out that the pilot of the missing flight QZ8501 and like the pilot on the other missing flight MH370 are both devout Muslims, I get somewhat paranoid. Translating from Indonesian I find the following:

“Iriyanto was also active in the community as a board member and chairman of the mosque at his residence in Pondok Jati Block BC 12 Village Pagerwojo, Buduran, Sidoarjo.”

“In addition to serving as Chairman of RT 39, Iriyanto also served as a board leader of Masjid Nurul Yaqin, which is located in the housing complex.”

“He was also diligent in worship. When everyone was at home, he would certainly be seen praying in congregation in the mosque.”

Masjid Nurul Yaqin mosque is connected with Hizbut Tahrir, a major terrorist organization that wants to establish an Islamic caliphate in Indonesia and Malaysia.

From Indonesian sources, I also find out that “Before Iriyanto applied for early retirement and became a commercial airline pilot he had been a pilot in the Air Force who served in the squadron Iswahyudi Airport, Madiun, East Java flying fighter Hawk MK 50 and F-5.”

Iriyanato ‘performed operational tasks from 1983 up until 1992.’ It was such fighter jets from Indonesia that were used over East Timor and were operational till September of 1999 killing some 200,000 mostly Christian Timorese out of a total population of 600,000 which has been winked at by western powers and today western media said nothing about this pilot’s involvements?

Zaharie Ahmad Shah the captain of the other missing flight MH370 had his co-pilot also another Muslim Faruq Abdul Hamid, 27. Now I become triply somewhat paranoid.

Being just paranoid and pilots just being very devout Muslims is not 100% conclusive evidence, but when one adds the scenarios of past history, it changes things. When the first plane hit the first tower on 9-11, the TV said ‘it was a terrible accident’ and in march Flight MH370 vanished and they also said that this was a ‘terrible accident,’ yet when the second plane hit the other tower, the TV instantly said that, ‘it was definitely a terrorist attack’ and now that when flight QZ8501 also vanished should not our paranoia and phobia levels be a bit up to think that ‘Muslim terrorists’ are playing their favorite deadly pranks again?

If Iriyanto’s religion and his ‘Allahu Akbar’ turns out to be relevant, so too will the religion of his nation.
