Palestinians To Relaunch Bid For Upgraded UN Status In September

Reuters and Israel Hayom Staff – “The Palestinians will renew their bid to upgrade their status at the United Nations next month, their foreign minister said on Saturday, a move which could strengthen their statehood claims as talks with Israel remain stalled.

Palestinians are listed as a U.N. observer ‘entity’ with no voting rights. They will ask to be made a non-member observer state at the U.N. General Assembly on Sept. 27, Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki told reporters in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Such status, akin to the Vatican’s, would be an indirect recognition of their claims on statehood in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip. It would allow them to join a number of U.N. agencies, as well as the International Criminal Court.

Malki said President Mahmoud Abbas would make the status request in a speech and the Palestinians would then lobby for support among U.N. member states, many of which are sympathetic to the campaign and regard the West Bank settlements as illegal.

‘When we are sure we have won absolute support from the largest possible number of states, we will be ready to request that the General Assembly vote on such a draft resolution,’ Malki said.

Israel’s ambassador to the U.N., Ron Prosor told Israel Radio on Sunday morning the Palestinians have a ‘guaranteed majority’ in the 193-member General Assembly — enough to bestow non-member observer status, which the envoy predicted would be used ‘to hurt us [Israel]’ in various international forums.” Read more.

In Egypt, where the men-to-women ratio is roughly equal, it looks like the new “Arab Spring” male-dominated Islamist rulers are taking the status of women very seriously. And that isn’t a good thing …

Daniel 11:36-38, “… he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods … Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women … But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour …”

By Ali Sina, FaithFreedom.org – “There are two men in Islam that are indisputably the greatest in the annals of this religion. They are Imam al Ghazzali and Jalaleddin Rumi, both Persians. Let us see what they thought of women.

Ghazzali is so highly revered amongst the majority of Muslim clerics that he is called Hojjatul Islam, ‘proof of Islam’. For many, his authority in religious matters is only second to the Prophet. In his The Revival of the Religious Sciences Ghazzali defines the position of women in Islam:

  • She should stay at home and get on with her spinning
  • She can go out only in emergencies.
  • She must not be well-informed nor must she be communicative with her neighbors and only visit them when absolutely necessary.
  • She should take care of her husband and respect him in his presence and his absence and seek to satisfy him in everything.
  • She must not leave her house without his permission and if given his permission she must leave secretly.
  • She should put on old clothes and take deserted streets and alleys, avoid markets, and make sure that a stranger does not hear her voice, her footsteps, smell her or recognize her.
  • She must not speak to a friend of her husband even in need.
  • Her sole worry should be her “al bud” (reproductive organs) her home as well as her prayers and her fast.
  • If a friend of her husband calls when her husband is absent she must not open the door nor reply to him in order to safeguard her “al bud”.
  • She should accept what her husband gives her as sufficient sexual needs at any moment.
  • She should be clean and ready to satisfy her husband’s sexual needs at any moment.

The great theologian then warns all men to be careful of women for their ‘guile is immense and their mischief is noxious; they are immoral and mean spirited’.

Ghazzali states ‘It is a fact that all the trials, misfortunes and woes which befall men come from women’.

In his Book of Counsel for Kings, Ghazzali sums up things that a woman has to endure because of Eve’s misbehavior in the Garden of Eden…” Read more.

Egypt’s New Government: Women Need Not Apply – “When Islamist President Mohamed Morsi was elected in late June, he promised to represent all Egyptians by forming a government inclusive of women, Christians, youth and even artists and intellectuals… Only two women were named to the government, including Nadia Zukhari, who is also a Copt. Making up almost 52% of the population, women who stood alongside men in the uprising that deposed Mubarak continue to feel ignored a year and a half after the revolution. ‘The process of forming the government was fake. Giving women or Copts one or two minor posts does not mean you are being inclusive,’ said Salma Nakash, a researcher at Nazra Feminist Studies and a women’s rights advocate.” Read more.

Russia: ‘Religion Of Peace’ Fighters Kill Imam For Preferring Peace

HERSZENHORN – “MOSCOW — A self-described guerrilla fighter urging strict adherence to Islamic law has claimed responsibility for the killing last month of one Muslim leader and the attempted murder of another, in Tatarstan, a region in central Russia that prides itself on a tradition of religious tolerance.

‘On July 19, 2012, on my orders an operation was conducted against the enemies of Allah,’ the guerrilla fighter, who identified himself as Muhammad, emir of the mujahedeen of Tatarstan, said in a video posted on an Islamist Internet site that focuses on the predominantly Muslim Caucasus region, including Chechnya.

In the video, he is shown sitting in the woods, with an automatic rifle propped against one knee. He specifically named the victims of the attack last month: Valiulla Yakupov, the cleric in charge of Islamic education in Tatarstan, who was shot and killed outside his home in Kazan, the regional capital; and Ildus Faizov, the chief mufti in the region, who survived a car-bomb attack less than an hour later.

‘All praise Allah,’ the jihadist, Muhammad, said in the video. ‘We believe the operation was a success.’ He also warned of further violence against Muslim leaders who do not adhere to Shariah, the strict legal code of Islam based on the Koran.

‘If any of the imams do not want or cannot carry out the points established by Shariah, they should leave their posts,’ he said. ‘That way, you will be protected from the mujahedeen.’…

The motive of the attacks appeared to be efforts by the two Muslim leaders to combat the spread of radical Islam in the region. Tatarstan has long prided itself on the generally peaceful coexistence of moderate Muslims and Christians. But the region, about 500 miles east of Moscow, has been struggling to cope with the rise of radical Islam, which is espoused by rebel fighters in the Caucasus.” Read more.

BOSTOM – “Reflecting an apparent systemic failure, steadily burgeoning evidence (see here, here, here, and here) indicates that one of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s closest aides, Huma Abedin, despite Ms. Clinton’s protestation, was inadequately vetted for either family or personal ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Diligent, open source investigation has already uncovered and documented numerous alarming connections. One can reasonably infer that a serious, formal congressional investigation of the overall extent of Muslim Brotherhood influence operations –as requested by Representatives Bachmann, Gohmert, Franks, Westmoreland, and Rooney — might yield even more disturbing findings.

Pending these sorely needed Congressional inquiries — replete with their probing investigative tools (i.e., subpoena power, access to classified materials) — much can still be gleaned from the public record. For example, over the past 33 years, Huma Abedin’s family has been responsible for the editorial production of the academic journal of the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA), known as Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs Journal from 1979-1995, and Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs from 1996 until now. The production started with the founding involvement of family patriarch Syed Z. Abedin and Huma’s mother Saleha Abedin since 1979, and subsequently joined by Huma’s brother Hassan Abedin (1996 to present), Huma herself (1996 to 2008), and Huma’s sister Heba (married name Khalid or Khaled; 2002 to present).

The following analysis of this IMMA journal’s foundational origins, guiding editorial board membership, andWeltanschauung — most appositely, at present — confirms that the Abedin family ‘academic’ journal is a thinly veiled mouthpiece for the Muslim Brotherhood’s Sharia-supremacist agenda. Pakistan: Muslim Teacher Breaks 15-Year-Old Student’s Legs For ‘Making Mistakes’ While Reciting The Qur’an

Qur’an Sura 48:29, “Mohammed is [Allah’s] apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another.”

“MULTAN:A 15-year-old was taken to a hospital on Wednesday after he was allegedly beaten by a teacher at a seminary.

Police said Abu Bakar, a student at Jamia Rehmania, was a Hafiz-i-Quran and was now revising it at the madrassa. They said on Wednesday Vice Principal Qari Kaleemullah hit Abu Bakar on the legs with a wooden stick for making some mistakes while reciting some verses. They said the boy fainted from the beating.

Some students at the seminary informed Abu Bakar’s father, Manzoor, who took him to the trauma centre at the district headquarters hospital, from where the boy was referred to Nishtar Hospital in Multan owing to critical condition.

Manzoor told The Express Tribune that Abu Bakar was lying unconscious when he arrived at the school.

Dr Hamid Hayat, the deputy medical superintendent at the DHQ hospital said the boy had suffered several fractures in both legs.

He said it was likely that his backbone had been affected.

He said timely treatment could help him recover, which he said, might take several months. He said the boy was referred to Nishtar Hospital owing to his critical condition.” Read more.

Flashback: Muslim Teacher Burns Children’s Legs With Hot Iron Rods After Learning They Didn’t Pray Regularly During Vacation – “Police in Bangladesh are looking for a teacher from a Muslim religious school who allegedly placed burning hot iron rods on the legs of her students for failing to offer prayers regularly. They say 14 girls, aged between eight and 12, received burn injuries… ‘It was the first day of the madrassa after our holidays. Our teacher got angry when she heard that we were not offering regular prayers during our vacation,’ said Ferdousi Akther, aged eight. ‘Then she asked her servant to heat up the rod and then she pressed it on our legs. The pain was unbearable.’ Pupils say that the teacher asked the students whether they knew the severity of the fire in hell.” Read more.

Flashback: Chained Children Discovered in Qur’an Education Center – “Somali forces aided by AMISOM troops raided a Quran education center in northern Mogadishu’s Waharade neighbourhood on Friday where they discovered chained up children. The government troops said the center was part of a larger network belonging to Al Qaida and Al Shabab… They added the students, all below the age of 10, were being taught extreme version of Islam and suicide bombing materials… When the forces questioned the teacher, said to be a member of al Shabab, he told them that he chained them up because many of them were skipping classes. All students in this particular center were held against their will just like the general Somali society by foreign men with foreign twisted ideologies. 1 Corinthians 10:19-21, “… the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons.”

Great food, bad decision. As many of you already know, for meat to be considered Halal the animal must be sacrificed in the name of Allah.  According to Biblical Scripture, Allah is a false god. False gods are idols. And as we can see from the verses above, God has a few things to say to His children when it comes to food that has been sacrificed to idols: don’t eat it. I’m not sure how long Mary Brown’s has been operating Halal-only restaurants, but if you’ve gotten “Mary’d” it might be time for a “D’vorce” by avoiding all of the locations below, which are now offering a 100% Halal menu. Here is a cleric from Saudi Arabia who decides to share a few thoughts from an Islamic perspective regarding the Convention on Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) that was adopted by the UN General Assembly on December 18, 1979 …

Qur’an Sura 4:34, “Men have authority over women because [Allah] has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because [Allah] has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them. Surely [Allah] is high, supreme.”

Sa’d Al-Qa’ud: “(CEDAW) means the elimination of all types of discrimination against women. In other words, it means complete and total equality between men and women. Allah says: ‘And the male is not like the female.’ The danger in this agreement lies in its being an international agreement. That means, according to the tyrannical international law, that it supercedes all local constitutions… Reading the articles of this agreement, dear brothers, sends shivers down your spine, and makes your hair stand on end, due to its hideous nature … Anyone contemplating this agreement knows full well that this is World War III … Anyone who reads this sinful, infidel CEDAW agreement will see clearly that whoever promoted this agreement, followed it, or helped it come into being has renounced Islam and declared war against Allah and his shari’a.”

UK: Muslim Rapist Who Attacked Women At Knifepoint ‘To Teach Women A Lesson’ Is Sentenced

The Telegraph – “Sunny Islam, 23, dragged away his victims, including a 15 year-old, at knifepoint, then bound and assaulted them.

Police fear that Islam, who raped four women over three months in east London, may have attacked many more.

At Woolwich Crown Court, Judge Patricia Lees sentenced Islam to a minimum sentence of 11 years before he is considered for parole. She told him: ‘The nature and extent of these offences drives me to the conclusion that you represent an extreme and continuing danger to women, particularly those out at night.’

Islam was traced through the number plate of his girlfriend’s car after he kidnapped and raped the 15 year-old in September 2010. He grabbed her from behind as she walked home with a friend, then drove her to a secluded spot where he raped her twice.

In a victim impact statement read to the court, the teenager said: ‘No one will ever understand the flashbacks, they are so real, at night I lay in my bed and it is like I am there.

‘It is like a screen in my mind forcing me to relive that night again and again. People will say time will heal, but I think time has helped me accept the truth — that I will never escape what happened.'” Read more.

California: Survivor Recounts Life Of Rape And Abuse By Leader Of ‘Your Black Muslim Bakery’

By Louise Rafkin – “In 2002, five years before journalist Chauncey Bailey was murdered by members of Your Black Muslim Bakery, a woman identified only as Jane Doe 1 stepped forward to report decades of sexual abuse, welfare fraud and violence by the bakery’s leader, Yusuf Bey Sr.

She was prepared to hand over to Oakland police DNA from three of her children, evidence that Bey had impregnated her, the first time when she was 12 years old.

Given the history of violence by members of Your Black Muslim Bakery, this was a risky move. But the woman was fueled by a mother’s anger. Her daughter, then 18, alerted her that Bey was trying to abuse her – his own daughter.

Now a devout Christian, Jane Doe 1 has decided she no longer wants to be the nameless whistle-blower. Her name is Kowana Banks and, in her first public interview, she said she made the decision to come forward to help other children trapped in similar situations. She hopes to publish a book about her experiences.

‘Abused people go one of two ways: Either they are going to self-destruct or they’re going to make a difference,’ said Banks, 44. ‘I’m going to make a difference.’

Today, Banks is an optimistic, composed woman who has moved on as best she can…

Iran: Man Whipped For Drinking Water During Ramadan – “Our Persian contact sent this to us this evening… This man was whipped for drinking water during the day during the Muslim month of Ramadan where Muslims are instructed to skip lunch and stuff their faces every morning before sunrise and then again every night after sunset. But they are not allowed to eat or drink during the day and only men over 50 are allowed to have sex during the day.” Read more.

Borneo: 11 Muslims Arrested For Breaking Ramadan Fast – “Eleven Muslims have thus far been nabbed by the Sarawak Islamic Religious Department (Jais) for not fasting during the month of Ramadan which started on July 21, said Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department Datuk Daud Abdul Rahman on Saturday. Out of the 11 caught, four were from Kota Samarahan, three each from Kuching and Miri, and one from Mukah. Daud told reporters after presenting assistance to 200 children of Hamidah Yakub Orphanage Complex that the 11 would be charged in court.” Read more.

Pakistan: Police Beat Two Men For Enjoying Soft Drink During Ramadan – “Two men were detained and assaulted by policemen in the Pakistani capital for having a soft drink at a popular tourist spot during the period of fasting in the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The two men – Anwar Abbas and Malik Saeed – were detained while they were having a soft drink inside a car at Daman-e-Koh, a viewpoint overlooking Islamabad, on Friday afternoon… In the meantime, a police constable came and said taking drinks during fasting is a violation of the Ramazan Act and a serious crime.” Read more.

Kuwait: Police Detain Thirsty Man For Drinking Water In Desert Nation During Ramadan – “Over the weekend, Kuwaiti police said they made the first arrest of someone who failed to abide by their strict conditions during the holy month. Police have indicated that a police patrol saw an ‘Asian drinking water from a bottle during the day.’ When the man was approached by officers and asked why he was not fasting, the man told them his sect ‘had not yet started fasting.’ Police disregarded the excuse and arrested him.” Read more.

Indonesia: Mob Of Muslim Youth Attack Business For Serving Non-Muslims Alcohol During Ramadan – “Indonesian police said on Monday they had arrested 62 people, most of them minors, involved in attacking a bar in south Jakarta for serving alcohol during the holy Muslim month of Ramadan. A group of 150 youths – some as young as 13 and carrying swords and golf clubs – raided the De Most bar late on Saturday, smashing bottles of alcoholic drinks and damaging the property… ‘They shattered the windows and door and smashed bottles, saying they wanted all bars shut to ensure the month of Ramadan is not tainted,’ he added.” Read more.

Palestinian Territories: Six Palestinians Arrested, One Given Month In Prison, For Eating In Public During Ramadan – “Under Islamic law, eating is prohibited from sunrise until sunset during the entire month. In addition, the Chairman of the PA Supreme Court for Shari’ah Law said PA law should prohibit even non-Muslims and those who cannot fast for health reasons from eating in public during the month. Sheikh Yusuf Ida’is explained: ‘Our streets are Islamic,’ and formal legislation should be enacted to ‘severely punish’ anyone who eats publicly during Ramadan.” Read more.

Pakistan: Christian Nurses In Kirachi Drink Tea Laced With Poison During Ramadan

“Pakistan’s minority Christian community’s leaders have demanded an impartial inquiry into the alleged poisoning of nine nurses at a government-run hospital.

The nine Christian trainee nurses at the Civil Hospital in Karachi fell ill on Sunday night after reportedly drinking poisoned tea prepared at their hostel.

They were claimed to have been deliberately poisoned because of their faith.

According to one of the affected nurses, a colleague had made the tea after 10pm and they fell ill immediately after drinking it.

The nurses were taken to the Civil Hospital’s emergency ward and sent back after treatment.

They developed complications the next morning and had to be taken to the hospital again…

Condemning the incident, Christian leader Michael Javed sought a judicial investigation.

Claiming that society had become extremely intolerant and was not allowing minorities to live in peace, the former legislator asked the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to take suo motu notice of the incident.

‘The government has turned a blind eye to the persecution of minorities; our girls are being (forcibly) converted and our churches are being attacked,’ he said.” Read more.
