Report: North Korea Ordered Mass Production Of Highly Enriched Uranium For Nuclear Weapons

By Courtney Grogan, DailyNK – “Citing what they claim is an internal Chosun Workers’ Party document, two Japanese newspapers have today published articles stating that the late Kim Jong Il ordered the mass production of highly enriched uranium for nuclear weapons.

If true, the contents of the 19-page document, as reported by Tokyo Shimbun and Mainichi Shimbun, contradict the North Korean official position; namely, that its nuclear program is a peaceful expression of a sovereign right, and that its enrichment facility at Yongbyon is producing only low enriched uranium for use in civilian energy generation.

‘Time is not being put into highly-enriched uranium technology for use in civilian industry,’ Kim Jong Il is reported to have declared pointedly in the document, before ordering the ‘mass production’ of nuclear bombs.

Dreams And Visions Moving Muslims To Christ

Acts 2:17, “‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.”

Acts 17:26-27, “And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us …”

‘Of course when I went to Mecca I was going there in order to pay hommage to the Kabba and to fulfill the requirements in Islam,’ he recalled.

But the trip became more of a spiritual journey than he could ever imagine.

‘That night I saw Jesus in a dream. First, Jesus touched my forehead with his finger. And after touching me, He said, ‘You belong to me,” Ali recalled.

‘And then He touched me above my heart,’ he continued. ‘You have been saved, follow me. You belong to me,’ he said.’

Ali’s story in Mecca was told and dramatized in a DVD called ‘More Than Dreams.’

‘I decided I’m not going to finish the Hajj, the pilgrimage. Whatever it takes, I’m going to follow that voice,’ he explained.

The film documents and dramatizes Ali’s story and several other Muslims who came to faith in Jesus through a dream or vision.

‘We’re seeing that all around. We’re hearing about people that have never even thought about Jesus as savior,’ Tom Doyle, with e3 Ministries, said. ‘They’re content Muslims and they’re having dreams over and over.’

Doyle and his wife Joanna take the gospel to the Muslim world. He’s also the author of the upcoming book, Dreams and Visions: Is Jesus Awakening the Muslim World?

‘I think our God is a fair God, that He’s righteous and just, and people are seeking and they don’t know where to go,’ Doyle said.

‘Maybe they don’t have a Bible, maybe there’s no missionary in the village,’ he said. ‘He’ll get the message to them somehow.’

The phenomenon of dreams and visions has surfaced throughout the Muslim world, from Indonesia to Morocco.

‘In the church if you ask how many people came to Christ, 80 percent will say, ‘I saw Him in a dream’…” Read more.

Egyptian Opposition: The Muslim Brotherhood Will Never Relinquish The Presidency

Rif’at Al-Said: The danger in the Freedom and Justice Party [of the Muslim Brotherhood] lies in its being a Salafi organization, which relies upon peddling in religion. They believe that if their candidate becomes president, Islam itself will have come to power, and will serve as an umbrella for the rule.

Therefore, if Muhammad Mursi, the Freedom and Justice Party’s candidate, is elected, any opposition to him will be considered opposition to the Islamic enterprise, to the rule of Islam, and to the implementation of the shari’a.

If he takes the seat of power, he will never get up again. What advocate of political Islam has ever relinquished power? The ayatollahs in Iran came to power, and will remain in power until Judgment Day. When Omar Al-Bashir came to power, he talked about free elections, and so on. Meanwhile, Sudan has disintegrated in his hands, and the economy is dead, but he remains in power, and will continue to do so, even if all that remains is the single square meter on which his throne is located. With Hamas, the loyal disciples of the Muslim Brotherhood, it is the same story.”

Interviewer: “If you object to Muhammad [Mursi], you can remove him from power after four years.”

Israel: Massive Fires Engulf Jerusalem Following 200 Arson Attacks In Past 2 Weeks

Could there be a Colorado connection? I can’t help but to wonder if the latest fires in Colorado, one of the worst in state history and already responsible for multiple deaths and the destruction of hundreds of homes, was deliberately set. I haven’t come across any evidence to suggest this yet, but in light of recent statements by Islamic terror groups this year it wouldn’t surprise me if this was the work of one of the many Islamic terror groups already operating within the United States …

I was incredibly dismayed to read in yesterday’s Jerusalem Post that there were more than 200 arson attacks in the Jerusalem area in the last two weeks, and that in the past month and a half, there have been some 2,000 fires started due to arson.

To put that into perspective, in an average year, there are about 8,000 fire related incidents.

The largest fire yesterday was in the area of the Ora and Aminadav moshavs, the latter straddling a beautiful forest that was next on our list to hike. That fire was brought under control fairly quickly because the Fire and Rescue Services decided immediately to bring in firefighting planes.

There were also fires in the wadi next to the American Consulate, six small fires near Hebrew University, and another in French Hill.

In the past, arson has been used as a form of nationalist struggle by Palestinians, a form of terror ‘lite,’ in as much as it usually results in property damage but not death (the Carmel Forest fire that has been at the center of the latest Comptroller’s lambasting of the Interior and Finance ministers was apparently started by accident, not arson).

The cause of this latest round of fires around Jerusalem is still not known. Two Jewish teenagers were arrested two weeks ago, but the fires have continued; the police have concluded, logically, that a larger group must be involved.” Read more.

Large Mysterious Rumbling Sound Reported In San Diego

By R. Stickney, NBC San Diego – “Residents from Chula Vista to Oceanside are reporting a large rumble around 12:45 p.m. Friday.

Some people describe it as sounding like a door slamming while others said it was strong enough to rattle windows.

A check of the U.S. Geological Survey website shows no earthquake activity.

One San Diego resident mentioned the sound via Twitter ‘Uh… La Jolla just shook. Or at least my street did. Big boom too.’

Carlos Ortega, of Solana Beach, wrote to us, ‘An earthquake shook here at 1244pm. Shook windows and walls for a good 5 seconds.’

Mercy Ramirez wanted NBC 7 San Diego to know, ‘We’re in Bonita, our our office shook for about 5 seconds, was this an earthquake? We’re on the third floor and everything shook.’

NBC 7 San Diego’s Dagmar Midcap was in Del Mar at the time and described it as a ‘Sonic ‘rumble”

She tweeted, ‘according to my contacts at USGS, not seismic but rather sonic.’

Sometimes, a military exercise known as chaff can cause a similar sound.

Two months ago, when San Diegans heard a similar sound, there was evidence of chaff on weather radar.

On Friday, however, Tina Stall with the National Weather Service said there was no visible chaff in the area at the time the noise was reported.

A spokesperson from Camp Pendleton said Marines are not training with anything unusual. They often train with various military equipment and will be training with tanks both Saturday and Sunday.” Source – NBC San Diego.

Opinion: ‘The Day The Constitution Died’ By Michael Connelly, J.D., Constitutional Attorney (Ret)

By Michael Connelly – “It is June 28, 2012 and on this day in history five Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court joined with President Obama and members of Congress to declare the U.S. Constitution and our free Republic dead. The Justices accomplished all of this by issuing a bizarre opinion on the Constitutionality of the ‘Affordable Health Care Act’ commonly known as Obamacare.

In August of 2009 I wrote my first blog article on the Constitutionality of the proposed health care bill, H.R. 3200. I noted a number of Constitutional objections to it with the primary one being the violation of Article, Section 8, of the Constitution that limits the powers of Congress. I argued that nothing in that article, including the Commerce Clause, gave Congress the power to either regulate health care, or to turn over the power to do so to the Executive Branch of government.

Ironically, the Supreme Court agreed with me today on the Commerce Clause issue, but then did something that by its own past admissions; it has no Constitutional authority to do. The Court took a clearly unconstitutional law passed by Congress and essentially rewrote it in order to declare it Constitutional. I’m referring specifically to the ‘penalties’ imposed on Americans who fail to comply with the individual mandate requiring them to buy health insurance. Under the law, these people can be ‘fined’ by the IRS for non compliance.

If you remember, when Obamacare was being proposed, the President, members of his cabinet, Democrats in Congress, and members of the mainstream news media were all assuring the American people that this was not a new ‘tax.’ Now, John Roberts, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court has written a majority opinion saying essentially that these were all lies, but he is going to fix it by declaring that this is a tax, and therefore falls within the powers of Congress.

In a nutshell, we have a situation where the Congress passed a law that it had no authority under the Constitution to pass, and that further unconstitutionally granted extraordinary new powers to the Executive Branch, that are not authorized by the Constitution. Now, we have the U.S. Supreme Court upholding this, and making a power grab of its own by saying that it can ignore the Constitution and rewrite the laws passed by Congress.

New York: Islamic Hate Graffiti Praising Allah Found At WTC Memorial

By Michael King – “NEW YORK — The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating after the words ‘Allah Wakbar’ were found written on a granite seat at the Sept. 11 memorial on Tuesday, law enforcement sources tell NBC 4 New York.

A private custodian cleaning the area found the graffiti, written in pink and black marker, on a seat in the plaza area between the north and south pools around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators believe someone wrote the words that day. No incidents were reported on Tuesday, and the area is not in the view of any security cameras.

After cops were called, the words were removed by a power washer, sources said. The rest of the memorial was inspected, but no other graffiti was found.

The graffiti comes about a week after a group of Brooklyn junior high school students were forced to leave the memorial after throwing baseballs, empty bottles and other trash into its reflecting pools.” Source – 11 Alive.

California: YMCA In San Diego Bows To Islam, Enforces Sharia With Women-Only Swim Class And Gender Segregated Gym For Muslims

Converting churches into mosques wasn’t enough. Looks like another step on the road to cultural oblivion is to now convert the YMCA from Young Men’s Christian Association to Young Muslims Cherishing Allah. Or Constraining Apostasy. Or Conquering America …

By Megan Burks, KPBS – “Each Saturday, staff at the Copley YMCA in City Heights begin clearing out the pool and locker rooms early. They send their male lifeguards home and a female lifeguard and swim instructor clock on for a special after-hours lesson.

About 15 East African women and girls then file through the back doors for a women-only swim class. The YMCA began offering it this spring after moms and daughters in a group called City Heights Hope told the directors they can’t swim in front of men because they’re Muslim.

‘We came here and I was just looking at the water and I was like, ‘Wow, I wish one day we could come and swim here,’’ said Miriam Adam, 14.

Adam, whose parents emigrated from Eritrea, said she and the other group members initially asked the YMCA to include women-only services at its new facility, which isn’t scheduled to open until 2014. But the directors said they could start swim classes as quickly as the women could sign up. The class roster was full a month later.” Read more.

State Department Refuses To Explain How A Member Of A Terrorist Group Got Into The White House

By Jennifer Rubin, The Washington Post – “On Friday, Right Turn noted the administration had let into the White House and State Department an Egyptian member of a terrorist group who was part of a visiting group of Egyptian lawmakers. The State Department promised to investigate.

Here is just a portion of the daily briefing transcript from Monday when the State Department spokeswoman was asked about that investigation:

QUESTION: . . . .It has to do with the visa for the Gama’a al-Islamiyya member. You said last week that there was a – you were looking into the circumstances of how this was issued. Has – have you determined how this – how it happened? And are you aware that Representative King has asked – formally asked Homeland Security to find out how he was in fact allowed entry, quite apart – separate from the visa issue?

MS. NULAND: On the latter, yes, I’ve seen the reporting. As we promised, we did look into it. Unfortunately, you’re not going to be happy with me when I tell you that we are not going to get into the details of confidential visa issuance. He and the rest of that delegation who were here last week have all now returned to Egypt.

QUESTION: Do you regard it as a mistake to have issued him a visa, given that he is self-proclaimed a member of Gama’a al-Islamiyya?

MS. NULAND: Well, let’s start with the fact that we have an interest in engaging a broad cross-section of Egyptians who are seeking to peacefully shape Egypt’s future. The goal of this delegation, as you know, was to have consultations both with think tanks but also with government folks, with a broad spectrum representing all the colors of Egyptian politics: liberals, Islamists, Salafists, women, Bedouin Christians. We were encouraged that they were willing to travel, that they were open to meetings with us, et cetera.

But in terms of specific questions on the visa issuance, I’m not going to – I’m not at liberty to get into anything further.

QUESTION: Well, but here’s the thing: I mean, I appreciate that you feel that you have an interest in consulting with the entire spectrum of Egyptian political society. But you also have U.S. laws which state that members of foreign terrorist groups are not eligible for travel to the United States, and would state, in some cases, can actually be removed from the United States if they happen to come here.

So the question – and I don’t think it’s an unreasonable question – it’s whether it’s a mistake to let somebody who is a self-proclaimed member of such a group in or not. It may be that the threshold under the law is higher and that you have to do more than just say, ‘Hey, I’m a member of X.’ You actually have to have a card or, I don’t know, pay dues. I mean, maybe there are —

Christian Legislator In Pakistan Stuck With Muslim ID Card Is Not Permitted To ‘Change Religion’

Compass Direct News – “Pakistan’s rigid system of prohibiting Muslims from changing their religion status on their national ID cards nearly cost a Punjab politician his post – even though he has always been a Christian.

Rana Asif Mahmood’s political opponents in April sought to disqualify him from the Punjab Provincial Assembly seat reserved for minorities on grounds that the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) identified him as a Muslim.

Mahmood said that NADRA had mistakenly identified him as a Muslim because of his name and then refused to rectify the error. The mistake not only cost Mahmood a cabinet position but also his part in proposing the provincial budget for 2012-13, he said.

The law establishing NADRA prohibits Muslims from changing the religion column on their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), though non-Muslims can easily obtain such changes – especially if they are converting to Islam.

‘The situation was revealed to me when my son applied for a CNIC a few months ago,’ Mahmood said. ‘He was told that he could not put down Christianity as his religion because the records showed his father to be a Muslim.’

When he approached NADRA officials for corrections, Mahmood said, they told him that there was no provision for changing the religion entry. He said that his passport identified him as a Christian, and that twice he had his religion section corrected on his passport because of the NADRA error of listing him as a Muslim.” Read more.

Report: Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood To Begin Caliphate Plans

By IPT News – “Watch out Egypt: Now that Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohamed Morsi has been declared the country’s new president, Sharia punishments may be making their way to a public square near you.

And that’s only the start of it.

According to an Arabic-language report last Tuesday of a closed-door senior-level Brotherhood confab, the Islamist group intends to get rid of film and ‘artistic heritage,’ replace police uniforms with ‘Islamic garb,’ and make memorization of Islam’s holy book a pre-condition for advancement in school. These sweeping changes—dubbed the ‘Jazira Plan’—are to ‘be put into execution on the first day Dr. [Mohamed] Morsi assumes the presidency.’

The first step in the plan is to ‘replace the national anthem with the so-called anthem of the Islamic Caliphate,’ soon after followed by ‘the abolition of the Ministry of Information and replacing it with an Islamic media organization’ whose sole aim would be to ‘publish Islamic heritage only.’

The plan speaks to the Brotherhood’s deep-seated, and oft-referenced, ‘dream’ of reinstating the Caliphate. Yet, when pressed to expound upon its goals by an unfriendly audience or in the West, the group instead turns ambiguous, speaking in terms of Western concepts of freedom, dignity, and justice.” Read more.

BBC Admission: Our Coverage Of The Arab Spring Was Skewed

In fact, the coverage of the Arab Spring by virtually every leftist media organization has been skewed. Presenting the uprisings in the Muslim world as heralding the dawn of a glorious new day of Western-like freedom sung to the “Wind of Change” turned out to be yet another leftist pipe dream, an oxygen-deprived synopsis smothered by naiveté and an assumed conclusion. Anyone who said differently were arbitrarily described as fearmongering Islamophobes. Despite the BBC’s acknowledgement, however, the media will continue to lean left, even when common sense is always right …

Head of news Helen Boaden admitted that her journalists got carried away with events and produced ‘over-excited’ reports.

She told a BBC Trust report that in Libya, where reporters were ‘embedded’ with rebels, they may have failed to explore both sides of the story properly.

Middle East editor Jeremy Bowen was among those criticised in the study into coverage of the uprisings, which found that ‘excitement’ did sometimes ‘infect’ the reporting, which some viewers described as ‘too emotive’ and ‘veering into opinion’.

The document, published yesterday, also raised concerns about the corporation’s use of footage filmed on mobile phones and other user-generated content. It noted that the BBC failed to warn viewers with ‘caveats’ about the ‘authenticity’ of such footage in 74 per cent of cases.

It also warned that the corporation ignored events in some countries as it concentrated on ‘big’ stories.

Miss Boaden is quoted saying: ‘In the conflict in Egypt in the beginning . . . we might have sounded over-excited – you can take on the colour of who you’re with. I had to say ‘just be careful about your tone’.

‘In Libya too, where we were essentially embedded [with the rebels] at the start, we might have sounded over-excited – you have to be careful if you can’t get to the other side of the story.’” Read more.
