By World Tribune – “JERUSALEM — U.S. President Barack Obama has demanded a timetable for an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank.

Israeli sources said Obama, scheduled to arrive in Israel on March 20, wants a detailed Israeli withdrawal plan from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the president’s visit. The sources said the Israeli plan would be considered in what could be an imminent U.S. initiative to establish a Palestinian state in the West Bank in 2014.

‘Obama has made it clear to Netanyahu that his visit is not about photo-ops, but the business of Iran and a Palestinian state,’ a source said. ‘The implication is that if Israel won’t give him something he can work with, then he’ll act on his own.’…

The sources said the White House warned that Obama’s forthcoming visit could characterize U.S. relations with Israel over the next four years. They said Obama aides stressed that Congress, which approved $3.1 billion in military aid to Israel for 2013, supported the establishment of a Palestinian state as a U.S. priority.

‘The Obama people are making this a litmus test of Netanyahu’s leadership and credibility,’ the Israeli source said. ‘Obama supporters in Congress have sent Netanyahu a similar message.'” Read more.

Jihad-286x275By JOHN GRIFFING, WND – “A leader for the Texas branch of the Council on American Islamic Relations has told a crowd at a rally for Islam that members of the faith really shouldn’t be bound by American law.

‘If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land,’ said Mustafa Carroll, the executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch, a keynote speaker as the recent rally.

The event was a rally in Austin, a part of the nationwide effort to hold ‘Muslim Capitol Day’ events.

CAIR itself has been under investigation for its documented ties to terrorist organizations in the past. Some details revealed by Daniel Pipes are that:

  • CAIR funded the Holy Land Foundation, which was used to funnel money to Hamas. President Bush shut down Holy Land Foundation, which CAIR called ‘unjust’ and ‘disturbing.’
  • CAIR denied Osama Bin Laden was behind 9/11, even though Bin Laden said so on camera.
  • CAIR demanded removal of a billboard in Los Angeles in 1998 that described Osama bin Laden as ‘the sworn enemy,’ saying that this description was ‘offensive to Muslims.’ [Osama had by this point released his Declaration of War on the United States.]
  • CAIR called the conviction of the 1993 WTC bombers ‘a travesty of justice.’
  • CAIR called the conviction of Omar Abdel Rahman, the blind sheikh who planned to blow up New York City landmarks, a ‘hate crime.’
  • CAIR labeled the extradition order for suspected Hamas terrorist Mousa Abu Marook ‘anti-Islamic’ and ‘anti-American.’

CAIR also had on its advisory board Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the attempted 1993 WTC bombings. It was the same Siraj Wahhaj who was asked to deliver the ‘Juma,’ or invocation at the Democratic National Convention for President Obama. He also once remarked, ‘It is my duty and our duty as Muslims to replace the U.S. Constitution with the Quran.’

According to the website about the event, Muslims from around Texas went to the Capitol in Austin to ‘promote civic and political activism throughout the wider Muslim community.’

The organization reported, ‘One major issue discussed was the recent House and Senate bill proposals involving the implementation of ‘anti-Shariah’ legislation, where the First Amendment rights and freedoms of Muslims would ultimately be hindered.’

Critics allege that Shariah prohibits other faiths from free exercise when enforced, and would actually invalidate the American First Amendment, unless practitioners were Muslim.

Carroll’s statement was similar to a statement made by CAIR Chairman Omar M. Ahmad, who is on record saying, ‘Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Quran…should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.’

Non-Muslim Students Made To Wear Muslim Burqas … In Texas

Teaching that “Allah is the Almighty God” wasn’t enough, apparently. And according to CSCOPES’s curriculum, Islamic terrorism no longer exists …

Update: Fox News is reporting that State Sen. Dan Patrick is launching an investigation into the matter. Let’s hope something is done about it, for good …

By John Griffing, WND – “There’s a new controversy in Texas involving the online public school curriculum called CSCOPE, which already has been the subject of heated debate and state legislative hearings.

There are reports now that students were made to wear Muslim burqas as part of their public school lessons.

CSCOPE has been facing criticism over its alleged Islamic and anti-American bias. It is a ‘curriculum management system’ now used in 80 percent of Texas classrooms – and recently was the subject of a heated inquiry that culminated in hearings conducted by the Texas Senate Education Committee chaired by Sen. Dan Patrick, R-Houston.

According to a joint press release by Sen. Patrick, State Board of Education Chairperson Barbara Cargill and CSCOPE representatives, CSCOPE ultimately agreed to ‘significant changes,’ but it is unclear when these changes will take place, and whether or not the pledged cooperation is legally binding or simply to mollify critics.

WND contacted Sen. Patrick’s office but has been unable to obtain documentation confirming whether CSCOPE compliance is required or optional.

He did release a statement: ‘Be assured we are working on this issue as is the SBOE almost every day. The hearing was step one, the letter step two. The only thing that is binding from a legislative standpoint is legislation. We are working on those issues based on what we are discovering now. We are doing our job, one that must be thorough and will take time.’

CSCOPE has come under fire for controversial curriculum content, including accusations of multiple lessons showing a pro-Islamic agenda. CSCOPE representatives had claimed that such content had been ‘taken out of context’ or that they were ‘old lessons that have since been taken down.’

CSCOPE proponents have denied the existence of such lessons, or, when faced with documentation, have dismissed critics’ claims as exaggerations.

However, in Lumberton, Texas, this week, high school girls were made to wear burqas as part of a CSCOPE study of Islam.

One student quoted the teacher as saying, ‘We are going to work to change your perception of Islam.’

The teacher in the burqa lesson, according to a student, also said

, ‘I do not necessarily agree with this, but I am supposed to teach you that we are not to call these people terrorists anymore, but freedom fighters.’

Critics argue that this should not be a teacher’s role, and are concerned that CSCOPE curriculum appears agenda-driven.

According to a student in the class, the lesson was to teach about the life of women in Islam. The burqa exercise focused on fashion and did not include the fact that to be in public without a burqa in many Muslim countries is punishable by death.

At the end of class, the students were assigned to write a paper about Egypt. According to one student, they were instructed to discuss ‘how Egypt was a good country until democracy took over, and that things were finally corrected when the Muslim brotherhood came into power.’

Muslim women are portrayed as liberated in CSCOPE literature. In a lesson entitled, ‘Thinking About Sexuality,’ that utilizes a series of film clips, students are asked, ‘What do the women portrayed in these film clips think Islam teaches about sexuality? How are their thoughts similar or dissimilar to your own ideas about sexuality?’

Under the subheading, ‘For further discussion,’ select quotes from Muslim women are included for student reflection, e.g. Harlina Halizah, who says, ‘I don’t think it is fair to say that Islam restricts your sexual desire. It is more directing it toward a more purposeful kind of life.’

Halizah goes on to say, ‘I don’t need to be liberated. I was born a free person.’

Students are then asked, ‘Do you agree? What would you define as the criteria for being ‘liberated’?’

Another Muslim female prototype, Zainah Anwar, is quoted under the subheading, ‘Thinking about Gender Relations,’ as saying, ‘We found that it is not Islam that discriminates against women, it is not the verses in the Quran, it is the way that these verses have been interpreted by men, living in patriarchal societies who wish to maintain their dominance, and their superiority and control over women.’

To get a better understand of the situation, WND reached out to Mary Bowen. Bowen is a teacher of more than 30 years with a masters degree in curriculum who recently testified during the Senate Education Committee hearing about CSCOPE’s academic deficiencies and its politically driven nature.

In response to the picture and the companion lesson, Bowen said the following, ‘As for these smiling children, [pictured above] I wonder if they have been taught that the women they are representing cannot drive, cannot be schooled, that they do not have legal birth records and if they are accused of rape/sexual impropriety their father can legally take them out on the patio and kill them like a dog without legal penalty …I just wonder if they are being taught the real story behind the burqa.’

CSCOPE has been heavily criticized by parents and teachers for other controversial content. One lesson from a CSCOPE social studies unit teaches students that communism is the highest attainable economic system, and is the most fair, and that capitalism is merely an evolutionary step on the ladder. The lesson calls ‘Communism’ a system where ‘all people work together for everyone,’ and shows a man climbing stairs towards a communist pinnacle. Capitalism is defined as a system where ‘all people strive to fulfill their own needs and wants,’ and is at the bottom of the included handout.” Source – WND.

Aaron Dugmore — thought to be one of Britain’s youngest suicides after bullying — was found in his bedroom after months of jibes at school, they claim.

His family say that Aaron was threatened with a plastic KNIFE by one Asian pupil — who warned him: ‘Next time it will be a real one.’

But despite complaints to the school, where 75 per cent of pupils come from ethnic backgrounds, they claim nothing was done to stop the bullying.

Heartbroken mum Kelly-Marie Dugmore is convinced the taunts led to her son killing himself two weeks ago. She sobbed: ‘We are not racist people. Aaron got on with all the children at his last school, and for him to have been bullied because of the colour of his skin makes me feel sick to my stomach.’

Aaron joined Erdington Hall primary in Birmingham last September after the family moved nearby. But Kelly-Marie, 30, and stepdad Paul Jones, 43, noticed a change in him from his first day.

Paul said: ‘He became argumentative with his brothers and sisters, which wasn’t like him at all. Eventually he told us that he was being bullied by a group of Asian children at school and had to hide from them in the playground at lunchtime. He said one kid even said to him, ‘My dad says all the white people should be dead’.'” Read more.

Islamic Butchery Manifests In America With Muslim Immigrants

But since our U.S. Congress began importing a total of seven million Muslims from all over the Middle East and Africa since 1990, an ever increasing rate of ‘honor killings’ continue to horrify Americans around the country.

This week, the New York Daily News reported Islamic violence in Buena Vista, New Jersey: ‘Cops arrested Muslim Yusuf Ibrahim, 28, of Jersey City on Sunday after detectives found the bodies of the two men, aged 25 and 27, behind a home in Buena Vista Township. Their severed heads and hands were discovered at a separate burial site. The investigation into the grisly murder began Thursday following reports of suspicious activity at the Buena Vista home. Muslim man accused of beheading two Christians in U.S. Torture, persecution of faithful no longer reserved for Islamic nations

Police reported in New Jersey that Yusuf Ibrahim beheaded and be-handed two Coptic Christians after shooting them.  He buried them in two separate graves in Buena Vista, New Jersey.

‘It’s a shock, something like this doesn’t happen,’ one resident said.

Pamela Geller, who blogs about Islam at Atlas Shrugs, said, ‘It appears to have been a ritual killing, religious in nature.  The victims were Coptic Christians and the murderer was Muslim, and we are painfully aware of the status and treatment of Christians under Muslim rule in Egypt.’

The killings stem from Islamic law within the Quran: ‘When Allah was revealing to the angels, ‘I am with you; so confirm the believers. I shall cast into the unbelievers’ hearts terror; so cut above the necks, and cut every finger of them!’ – Quran 8:12.’

‘Christian On The Outside, Muslim On The Inside’: Germany’s Islamization Continues As Churches Nationwide Become Mosques

By Soeren Kern, Gatestone Institute – “Muslim plans to convert a former Lutheran church in the city of Hamburg into a mosque is generating controversy across Germany.

From Berlin to Dortmund to Mönchengladbach, the gradual proliferation of mosques housed in former churches reflects the rise of Islam as the fastest growing religion in post-Christian Germany. In the most recent case, the church would be the first converted into a mosque in the second-largest city in Germany.

The latest dust-up involves the former Kapernaumkirche (Capernaum Church), located in the Horn district in downtown Hamburg. The church, a cultural heritage site, was abandoned in 2002 for financial reasons due to declining membership.

The building and an adjacent 44 meter (144 foot) tower/steeple as well as the surrounding land was sold in December 2012 to the Al-Nour Islamic Center, which has approximately 600 members, mainly made up of Arab Muslim immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa.

The church is currently undergoing renovations at a cost of one million euros ($1.4 million) and is scheduled to be reopened as a mosque on October 3, the Day of German Unity [Tag der Deutschen Einheit], a public holiday commemorating the anniversary of German reunification in 1990. Muslims in Germany have also claimed October 3 as Open Mosque Day [Tag der offenen Moschee], a day when non-Muslims are allowed to visit mosques.

Major German newspapers have greeted the news with apparent resignation, and have published editorials with titles such as ‘When Mosques Replace Churches,’ ‘Tenant Allah,’ ‘Christian on the Outside, Muslim on the Inside,’ and ‘The New Normal.’

But political and religious leaders have been more circumspect; many have responded to the situation with a sense of unease and foreboding.

An Obama Nation: The Voter Fraud That ‘Never Happens’ Keeps Coming Back

By John Fund, National Review Online – “Critics of voter ID and other laws cracking down on voter fraud claim they’re unnecessary because fraud is nonexistent. For instance, Brennan Center attorneys Michael Waldman and Justin Levitt claimed last year: ‘A person casting two votes risks jail time and a fine for minimal gain. Proven voter fraud, statistically, happens about as often as death by lightning strike.’

Well, lightning is suddenly all over Cincinnati, Ohio. The Hamilton County Board of Elections is investigating 19 possible cases of alleged voter fraud that occurred when Ohio was a focal point of the 2012 presidential election. A total of 19 voters and nine witnesses are part of the probe.

Democrat Melowese Richardson has been an official poll worker for the last quarter century and registered thousands of people to vote last year. She candidly admitted to Cincinnati’s Channel 9 this week that she voted twice in the last election.

This is how Channel 9′s website summarized the case:

According to county documents, Richardson’s absentee ballot was accepted on Nov. 1, 2012 along with her signature. On Nov. 11, she told an official she also voted at a precinct because she was afraid her absentee ballot would not be counted in time.

“There’s absolutely no intent on my part to commit voter fraud,” said Richardson. . . .

The board’s documents also state that Richardson was allegedly disruptive and hid things from other poll workers on Election Day after another female worker reported she was intimidated by Richardson. . . .

During the investigation it was also discovered that her granddaughter, India Richardson, who was a first time voter in the 2012 election, cast two ballots in November.

Richardson insists she has done nothing wrong and promises to contest the charges: ‘I’ll fight it for Mr. Obama and for Mr. Obama’s right to sit as president of the United States.’

Report: Barack Obama ‘Covertly Recruiting’ Muslims As U.S. Diplomats

World Tribune – “President Barack Obama is said to have been quietly recruiting Muslims to serve as U.S. diplomats.

Judicial Watch said the Obama administration was hiring Muslims at the State Department. The fiscal watchdog said the recruitment was part of the administration’s outreach to Muslims to work for the federal government.

‘The Obama administration is covertly recruiting Muslims to work at the State Department as Foreign Service officers representing the United States in one of 265 American embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions worldwide,’ Judicial Watch said.

In a report on Jan. 31, Judicial Watch said the administration sought to use the new Muslim recruits to bolster Washington’s relations with the rest of the world. The organization said the recruitment was headed by Mark Ward, deputy special coordinator in the State Department’s Office of Middle East Transition.

The two Muslim groups have been linked to the Muslim Brotherhood. The Investigative Project on Terrorism identified the Muslim American Society as the U.S. chapter of the Brotherhood, with headquarters in Egypt.

‘Besides being a citizenship duty, there are benefits that Muslims can add to the American Muslim community and the global Muslim world by joining the U.S. Foreign Services,’ a statement by the Muslim American Society said in late December 2012. ‘This session will shed light on the different career opportunities for Muslim youth in the U.S. Foreign Services Department. ‘This Is A Serious Event’: Millions Of Dead Fish Wash Ashore In Iceland, Entire Season’s Worth Of Herring Lost

FoxNews – “Researchers in Iceland are blaming low oxygen levels in a shallow fjord for the deaths of tens of thousands of tons of herring.

Masses of dead herring have been found in Kolgrafafjordur fjord for the second time this winter, raising concerns about Iceland’s fishery.

The Morgunbladid newspaper estimated the value of the 10,000 tons of fish found dead this week at 1.25 billion kronur ($9.8 million). An even larger number of fish died in December.

Roughly one season’s worth of herring has been lost, Johann Sigurjonsson, director of Iceland’s Marine Research Institute, said Wednesday.

He said herring tend to winter in large populations and may have depleted the oxygen in the shallow fjord. The danger should ease in spring when the herring spread out into a wider area, he said, downplaying fears that the entire herring fishery is in danger.

‘We regard this as a serious event,’ he said. ‘We are investigating; we would like to find out if it is necessary to try to step in somehow.’

The government’s economic minister has increased funding for monitoring in the area to determine what can be done to prevent more fish from dying off.” Read more.

An Obama Nation: Seven Million Will Lose Medical Insurance Under Obama Health Law

By Stephen Dinan, The Washington Times – “President Obama’s health care law will push 7 million people out of their job-based insurance coverage — nearly twice the previous estimate, according to the latest estimates from the Congressional Budget Office released Tuesday.

CBO said that this year’s tax cuts have changed the incentives for businesses and made it less attractive to pay for insurance, meaning fewer will decide to do so. Instead, they’ll choose to pay a penalty to the government, totaling $13 billion in higher fees over the next decade.

But the non-partisan agency also expects fewer people to have to pay individual penalties to the IRS than it earlier projects, because of a better method for calculating incomes that found more people will be exempt.

Overall, the new health provisions are expected to cost the government $1.165 trillion over the next decade — the same as last year’s projection.” Read more.
