US Government Is Ignoring Muslim Brotherhood’s Nature
Daily World – “The No. 1 goal of the Muslim Brotherhood is to spread Sharia law throughout the world, not just in the Middle East. Since its founding over 80 years ago, the Muslim Brotherhood has been no friend of America’s ideals and democratic way of life. That is why it is so disturbing that the Obama Administration’s own State Department has given the Muslim Brotherhood’s radical Islamic agenda a wink and a nod.
Although the Obama administration wants Americans to believe that the Muslim Brotherhood is a moderate organization, nothing could be further from the truth. A sense of friendship with a radical organization will only jeopardize America’s security in the long run. Americans must realize what the Muslim Brotherhood stands for. Sharia law has spread into Europe and has taken hold in Egypt thanks to the Arab Spring. Many Americans do not understand what Sharia law entails or, for that matter, have even heard of it.
Essentially, Sharia law is a rigid Islamic moral code that commingles religion and government. Sharia law encompasses all facets of Muslim life from religion and finances, right down to personal hygiene. Before the U.S.-led invasion, Afghanistan was the center of Sharia law in the Muslim world, where women had no rights and were treated as second class citizens on a good day.
Andrew McCarthy is the former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York who successfully prosecuted Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, ‘the blind cleric,’ for the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993. He has written a riveting and smart piece for National Review Online about how the State Department has bowed to the Muslim Brotherhood’s agenda.
There are many revelations that McCarthy touches on but the three that stand out are:
» The State Department announced that the Obama Administration would be ‘satisfied’ with the election of a Muslim Brotherhood-dominated government in Egypt.
» The State Department has collaborated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, a bloc of governments heavily influenced by the Brotherhood, in seeking to restrict American free-speech rights in deference to Sharia proscriptions against criticism of Islam.
» The State Department and the Obama administration waived congressional restrictions in order to transfer $1.5 billion dollars in aid to Egypt after the Muslim Brotherhood’s victory in the parliamentary elections.” Read more.
Syria: We Will Use Chemical And Biological Weapons If Attacked
By PAUL SCHEMM and BEN HUBBARD, AP – “BEIRUT (AP) — The Syrian regime threatened Monday to use its chemical and biological weapons in case of a foreign attack, in its first ever acknowledgement that it possesses weapons of mass destruction.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Jihad Makdissi stressed, however, that Damascus would not use its unconventional arms against its own citizens. The announcement comes as Syria faces international isolation, a tenacious rebellion that has left at least 19,000 people dead and threats by Israel to attack to prevent such weapons from falling into rebel hands.
The timing, however, of Syria’s decision to reveal the long suspected existence of its chemical weapons suggests a desperate regime deeply shaken by an increasingly bold revolt that has scored a string of successes in the past week, including a stunning bomb attack that killed four high-level security officials, the capture of several border crossings and sustained offensives on the regime strongholds of Damascus and Aleppo.
‘No chemical or biological weapons will ever be used, and I repeat, will never be used, during the crisis in Syria no matter what the developments inside Syria,’ Makdissi said in news conference broadcast on Syrian state TV. ‘All of these types of weapons are in storage and under security and the direct supervision of the Syrian armed forces and will never be used unless Syria is exposed to external aggression.’
The Syrian government later tried to back off from the announcement, sending journalists an amendment to the prepared statement read out by Makdissi adding the phrase ‘if any,’ in attempts to return to their previous position of neither confirming or denying the existence of unconventional weapons.” Read more.

UK: Two Illegal Muslim Men Hired As Security For London Olympics
Not sure what’s to blame here — political correctness, laziness, pure incompetence, a security firm who bit off more than it can chew, or perhaps something else in the mix. Considering all the revelations that have been unfolding recently, it looks to me like we’re reading the ingredients of a recipe for disaster. But no need to worry, apparently, because according to the authorities their “commitment to safety and security continues” …
By Julian Gavaghan and Anthony Bond – “Two G4S security guards who were due to protect footballers during the Olympic Games have been arrested on suspicion of being illegal immigrants.
The men, who are believed to be from Pakistan, had secured jobs with the under-fire firm to work at the City of Coventry stadium, which is due to host 12 matches.
Officers swooped on the venue after their alleged bogus status is said to have been revealed in an accreditation check by G4S, which has been criticised after failing to provide enough staff for the Games.
The firm, which last week admitted it could not meet its contracted target of 10,400 guards despite employing 650,000 people worldwide, then notified the police and UK Border Agency.
The men, who are aged 21 and 24, worked for East Midlands Security and would have been part of the effort to ‘lockdown’ the venue in a bid to guard it from terror attacks.
Police today confirmed they were working with officials from the UK Border Agency while further checks were made on their immigration status.
Assistant Chief Constable Sharon Rowe, of West Midlands Police, said: ‘A 21-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday 17 July 2012 at 3pm on suspicion of breach of immigration laws.
‘A 24-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday 18 July 2012 at 10.47am on suspicion of breach of immigration laws.
‘The arrests by UK Borders Agency followed the proactive security checks carried out by the accreditation centre at City of Coventry Stadium in preparation for the forthcoming Olympic football matches.
‘West Midlands Police are working with officials from UK Borders Agency and the men remain in custody pending further enquiries by UKBA regarding their immigration status.

Now, in the critical 2012 elections, the mainstream media seems poised to do the same–and ABC News has led the way…
How interesting that Ross and ABC News should think to look to the Tea Party website first–and to broadcast politically volatile information without verifying if that ‘Jim Holmes’ is the same as the suspect.
The ‘Jim Holmes’ page on the Colorado Tea Party website is advertising an event with Middle East commentator Brigitte Gabriel next Thursday, July 26–hardly the behavior of a man who expected to be committing a deadly crime on July 20 for which he would certainly be apprehended and might not survive.
Look for more scapegoating from the mainstream media and the Democrats in the hours and days to follow.
UPDATE: The James Holmes arrested at the Aurora theater was 24 years old and seems to be from Denver, CO, according to a Facebook profile (a similar Facebook profile linked by a local news reporter has not been confirmed as the suspect’s profile, either). There are many people with the name “James Holmes” in the area, and the James Homes on the Tea Party website could match a James Homes from Aurora, CO who is in his fifties and therefore does not fit the description of the suspect. More evidence that Ross, Stephanolpoulos and ABC rushed to blame the Tea Party without confirmation that the suspect is also the Tea Party member.” Read more.

“The U.N. has hit another new low by electing Iran, which is under world sanctions for building illegal nuclear weapons to head the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty.
The Iranian mission was elected as a deputy of the conference on the Arms Trade Treaty.
The conference opened on July 3. High-level delegations of U.N. member states joined the conference.
The conference meetings would last for a month. The mission is looking for talks that support the preparation of a treaty to regulate trade in all conventional weapons.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss possible objections to the transfer of conventional weapons in the international arena and to develop ways to deal with it within the framework of a treaty.
‘How can the institution of the U.N. be taken seriously when it elects brutal regimes to policy making,’ an expert on the U.N. asked.

Concerns about queues and job cuts at the UK Border Agency forced the Home Office to bring in private guards to man radars designed to detect radiation at major ports. But Serco staff who took on the roles once occupied by public sector officials in mid-May have been at the centre of security scares.
It is understood that the border force is looking into the failure of a Serco guard to alert engineers when a security screening system went down at Dover ferry port, allowing vehicles to enter unchecked for radiation.
Serco staff have been repeatedly reported to managers for failing to correctly use equipment that checks for signs of radiation underneath cars and lorries. Border force officials admit that this is because staff had ‘been provided with training some time ago, they have become unfamiliar or not previously had hands-on experience’.
Some of the 300 Serco staff ‘left areas unmanned’ despite the heightened security threat facing the country weeks before the 2012 games. Serco staff have also missed alarms that are expected to prompt secondary searches of vehicles, the Observer understands, although it is understood that such “misses’ also happened before the private contractor, whose turnover last year exceeded £4 billion, became involved.
More than 320,000 foreign visitors are expected to visit Britain during the games, which begin in 19 days.” Read more.
Japan: Highly Contaminated Fish Detected In Fukushima Rivers And Lakes, Up To 25 Times Legal Limit
Kyodo News – “The Environment Ministry said Monday it detected 61 to 2,600 becquerels per kilogram of radioactive cesium in 23 varieties of freshwater fish sampled at five rivers and lakes in Fukushima Prefecture between December and February.
After the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant crisis, the government reduced the level of radioactive cesium deemed safe for consumption to a maximum of 100 Bq/kg for fish, meat and other food items.
A kind of goby taken from the Mano River in Minamisoma, located north of the crippled nuclear plant, showed 2,600 Bq/kg, according to the ministry.” Read more.

Israel: Massive Fires Engulf Jerusalem Following 200 Arson Attacks In Past 2 Weeks
Could there be a Colorado connection? I can’t help but to wonder if the latest fires in Colorado, one of the worst in state history and already responsible for multiple deaths and the destruction of hundreds of homes, was deliberately set. I haven’t come across any evidence to suggest this yet, but in light of recent statements by Islamic terror groups this year it wouldn’t surprise me if this was the work of one of the many Islamic terror groups already operating within the United States …

I was incredibly dismayed to read in yesterday’s Jerusalem Post that there were more than 200 arson attacks in the Jerusalem area in the last two weeks, and that in the past month and a half, there have been some 2,000 fires started due to arson.
To put that into perspective, in an average year, there are about 8,000 fire related incidents.
The largest fire yesterday was in the area of the Ora and Aminadav moshavs, the latter straddling a beautiful forest that was next on our list to hike. That fire was brought under control fairly quickly because the Fire and Rescue Services decided immediately to bring in firefighting planes.
There were also fires in the wadi next to the American Consulate, six small fires near Hebrew University, and another in French Hill.
In the past, arson has been used as a form of nationalist struggle by Palestinians, a form of terror ‘lite,’ in as much as it usually results in property damage but not death (the Carmel Forest fire that has been at the center of the latest Comptroller’s lambasting of the Interior and Finance ministers was apparently started by accident, not arson).
The cause of this latest round of fires around Jerusalem is still not known. Two Jewish teenagers were arrested two weeks ago, but the fires have continued; the police have concluded, logically, that a larger group must be involved.” Read more.

Texas: Mysterious Mass Death Of Cattle Prompts Federal Investigation
“(CBS News) ELGIN, Texas – A mysterious mass death of a herd of cattle has prompted a federal investigation in Central Texas.
Preliminary test results are blaming the deaths on the grass the cows were eating when they got sick, reports CBS Station KEYE.
The cows dropped dead several weeks ago on an 80-acre ranch owned by Jerry Abel in Elgin, just east of Austin.
Abel says he’s been using the fields for cattle grazing and hay for 15 years. ‘A lot of leaf, it’s good grass, tested high for protein – it should have been perfect,’ he told KEYE correspondent Lisa Leigh Kelly.
The grass is a genetically-modified form of Bermuda known as Tifton 85 which has been growing here for 15 years, feeding Abel’s 18 head of Corriente cattle. Corriente are used for team roping because of their small size and horns.
‘When we opened that gate to that fresh grass, they were all very anxious to get to that,’ said Abel.
Three weeks ago, the cattle had just been turned out to enjoy the fresh grass, when something went terribly wrong.
‘When our trainer first heard the bellowing, he thought our pregnant heifer may be having a calf or something,’ said Abel. ‘But when he got down here, virtually all of the steers and heifers were on the ground. Some were already dead, and the others were already in convulsions.’
Within hours, 15 of the 18 cattle were dead.” Read more.
Drought-Related Algae, Oil Spill Blamed For Mysterious Deaths Of 123 Dolphins Off Texas Coast
By Associated Press – “HOUSTON — The deaths of more than 120 dolphins off the Texas coast has prompted a federal agency to declare the event ‘unusual’ and launch an investigation into whether they were related to a drought-related algae bloom or a more widespread mortality event that has plagued the northern Gulf of Mexico for two years.
The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has called the stranding of 123 dolphins on Texas shores from November through March an ‘unusual mortality event,’ an official federal listing that allows the agency to access additional funds and set up a team of researchers.
All but four of the dolphins that washed up in Texas were dead, and the few that turned up alive died a short time later, said Blair Mase, the southeast marine mammal stranding network coordinator for NOAA Fisheries. What alarmed scientists though, was the age of the bottle-nosed dolphins that washed up — juveniles rather than the very young or elderly that normally would be found — and the fact that Texas had a years-worth of dead dolphins turn up in a five-month period.
The cause, however, may not be known for months, if at all, Mase said.
‘That’s what’s a little frustrating about this. It’s not like you see on TV, on CSI, you don’t get the answers quickly,’ she said. ‘It can take months and sometimes years.'” Read more.

But between February 2010 and April 1, 2012, 714 dolphins and other cetaceans have been reported as washed up on the coast from the Louisiana/Texas border through Franklin County, Fla., reported the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Ninety-five percent of the mammals were dead. Since many of the dead dolphins sink, decompose or are eaten by scavengers before washing up, NOAA believes that 714 may represent only a fraction of the actual death count.” Read more.
Japan: Extremely High Levels Of Radiation Found Inside Reactor 2 Housing, TEPCO Can’t Find Source Of Leak
NHK – “Workers at Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi plant seem to come across new problems and new challenges every day at the damaged nuclear facility. Their latest find: extremely high levels of radiation inside the building that houses reactor 2. Tokyo Electric Power Company engineers sent a robot into the building Wednesday to take video and measure radiation. TEPCO’s spokespersons say instruments detected a reading of 880 mSv/hr on the fifth floor. The area is 4.5 meters above the reactor containment vessel. TEPCO analysts suspect radioactive substances that leaked from reactor 2 moved through the location. But the images and data taken by the robot haven’t helped them find the exact route the contaminants travelled…”
Tokyo Professor: Deformities in cedar trees may be from Fukushima radiation — Sex abnormalities, malformed branches – “Mori explains that some branches bear only male flowers while others bear only female flowers. But what he found in the cedar tree in Hitachinaka City was asymmetrical, malformed branches with both male and female flowers… Professor Mori suspects that the growing point of the cedar tree was irradiated, and that resulted in the developmental anomalies you see in these photos. He says more samples are needed to definitely conclude the anomalies are the result of irradiation.” Read more.
