Sudan: Pregnant Christian Woman Accused Of Apostasy And Threatened With Death … Because Her Father Was Muslim

According to Islam, if the father is a Muslim then so are all of his children. And, according to Islam, if a child later changes their Islamic religion they must be killed. Death for “unrepentant apostasy” is a command directly from the “prophet” of Islam himself. But let’s take this twisted thinking one step further. According to Islam, it isn’t just the children of Muslim fathers who are considered Muslim. Rather, every baby born — regardless of the faith of the birth parents — is born as a Muslim. The logical implications of such thinking is not lost in the minds of Islamists. If, according to Islam, every baby is born as a Muslim, then all non-Muslims — meaning you and I — are now in a state of “apostasy” for rejecting Islam and guilty of yet another “crime” that is punishable by death, according to the Sharia ..

Hadith, Sahih Muslim, Book 033, Number 6426, “The Prophet Muhammad said, ‘No babe is born but upon Fitra (as a Muslim). It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian or a Polytheist.’”

Meriam Yahia Ibrahim, 27, is married to a South Sudanese Christian, which is forbidden for Muslims in Sudan. According to Islamic law, if a Muslim woman marries a non-Muslim, their marriage is illegal: she is considered to be an adulteress and her children are illegitimate.

And should Ibrahim be convicted of both apostasy and adultery, her whipping and execution will be administered right after giving birth to her second child. Until her trial, Ibrahim has been denied bail, medical care for her and her unborn child and has received no assistance from the U.S. Embassy despite the fact her husband is a U.S. citizen.

‘Meriam needs treatment every month to keep the unborn baby still in the mother’s womb, but no medical help has been allowed,’ said her husband, Daniel Wani. ‘They are denying my wife her rights to fair treatment and my rights to visit and see my son.’

Wani’s 20-month-old son, Martin, is in prison with Ibrahim since Sudanese authorities have prohibited the boy’s Christian father from caring for him. Wani said Ibrahim has been emotionally abused during her incarceration because Islamic scholars have been trying to get her to return to the religion of her Muslim father, but she has refused the ‘offer’.

In the mean time, Justice Center Sudan is trying to defend Ibrahim based on her constitutional rights to freedom of religion, but the Sudanese constitution also accepts Islamic law as a source of legislation. Further, since the secession of South Sudan in 2011, Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has vowed to make Sudan even more Islamist by laws that demand the death penalty for apostasy.” Read more.

Again: Islamists In Nigeria Attack Christian Churches And Homes, ‘Many People Lost Their Lives’

By Ugochukwu Onyeocha, Daily Times – “Gunmen suspected to be members of the Islamic insurgents, Boko Haram, killed no fewer than eight people in a gun attack in Kubla Village of Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State, where they set places of worship and residential houses ablaze during their raid.

Some residents of the affected village, who fled the area, said they were attacked by gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram members in the early hours of Tuesday.

‘They used explosives during the attack on the churches and many people lost their lives,’ villagers recounted, as one of the residents, who identified himself as Heldia Apogu said.

‘I cannot actually say how many people were kill but I saw about six dead bodies being evacuated.’

Another resident claimed that some houses were also attacked by the gunmen who took some men as hostages.

‘I saw some people crying, saying their relations had been taken away as hostages by the gunmen,’ the resident, who craved anonymity, said.

Efforts to get military and police authorities comment on the incident did not yield result at the time of filling this report but the Chairman of Madagali LG, James Abawu Watharda, said eight people lost their lives during the attack.

Watharda said soldiers have sealed up the area and were hunting for the fleeing attackers, adding that ‘eight people were killed and two churches, and some houses, were set ablaze by the attackers, while all the villagers have fled.’

Madagali Local Government is bordering Gwoza Local Government of Borno State, which has experienced series of insurgent attacks since the declaration of the state of emergency.” Source – Daily Times.

Note also Allahshukur Pashazadeh about the ‘occupied territories’ that, he claims, Armenia has illegally seized from Azerbaijan. His rhetoric here is remarkably similar to that of the ‘Palestinian’ jihadis; both know that such talk of ‘occupation,’ however divorced from reality it may be, will arouse the righteous indignation of many whose holy book exhorts them to ‘slay them wherever you find them, and drive them out of the places from which they drove you out’ (Qur’an 2:191).

The Sheikh-ul-Islam noted that one of the unsettled problems in the Caucasus region is the Karabakh conflict in which Armenians have occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijani territory and a million people were exposed to the policy of ethnic cleansing and this situation has been going on for over 20 years: “In the occupied territories Islamic, Christian and Jewish religious monuments were destroyed. And it can pave way to inter-religious confrontation. I consider that the joint efforts of religious leaders are important in terms of establishing peace and tranquility in the world, moral and spiritual healthy environment in societies and preserving traditional values. We should preserve and actively promote our unity and tolerance for the sake of humanity and salvation of mankind from global disasters.”

UK: Muslim Woman Develops “Independence”, Is Promptly Killed By Husband For Being “Too Westernized”

The husband claims he was “possessed of a spirit” at the time. Evidently he’s in “good” company. Islam’s prophet — the most “perfect” man to ever walk the face of the earth — believed he was possessed and at one time even received “revelations” from the devil. No word on whether or not authorities have decided to issue an arrest warrant for the spirit in question …

Gazette Live – “A devoted mum was killed by her violent and controlling husband who then put on her clothes as part of a plot to pretend she was still alive, a court heard.

Rania Alayed, a mum-of-three who had previously lived in Norton, had become ‘too Westernised’ when she was ‘lured’ to a Salford tower block and killed in June last year, a Manchester Crown Court murder trial heard.

The 25-year-old’s remains, believed to be in North Yorkshire, have never been found.

Rania moved from Norton to Manchester in January 2013.

She had previously lived in Middlesbrough.

Her 33-year-old husband, Ahmed Al-Khatib, is alleged to have subjected her to years of domestic and sexual violence and then murdered her when she found the courage to ‘break free of his shackles’, starting a new ‘independent’ life with the children in the city’s Cheetham Hill area.

The court heard that Mr Al-Khatib, of Knutsford Road, Gorton, has told psychiatrists that she died after he pushed her, ‘causing her to stumble, fall and bang her head’.

But he denies murder or having ‘any intention to kill her’, saying he was ‘possessed of a spirit’ at the time.” Read more.

Associated Press – “Newspapers in the United Arab Emirates are reporting that the American drummer for the rock band Scorpions has been sentenced to one month in jail after being convicted of offensive behavior in Dubai.

The government-backed National newspaper reported Tuesday that James Kottak was convicted of insulting Islam, raising his middle finger and being under the influence of alcohol while in transit at Dubai airport.

The Gulf News daily says he was arrested April 3 en route from Russia to Bahrain, where the German band was scheduled to perform at a Formula One race. Kottak was a no-show at the April 5 concert.

The newspapers say Kottak admitted to drinking but denied other charges.

The Scorpions’ manager didn’t respond to requests for comment. Kottak’s local lawyer couldn’t immediately be reached.” Source – My Fox NY

This is because the charitable giving required of Muslims, zakat, can be given to fund jihad, a meritorious activity according to Islamic law. And the ‘Palestinian’ jihad has a special appeal, as it is directed against the Jews, whom the Qur’an designates as the worst enemies of the Muslims (5:82).

‘Aid group accused of Hamas ties put on ‘terrorist’ list, raided,’ The Canadian Press, April 29, 2014 (thanks to Kenneth):

A Canadian organization that provided humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza has been formally branded a terrorist group before the start of a court battle over the revocation of its charitable status.

The move came as the RCMP confirmed it had raided locations in Ontario and Quebec as part of a terrorism-financing investigation.

In a letter to the International Relief Fund for the Afflicted and Needy, the RCMP said the federal government had added the group to a list of “terrorist entities” as of April 24.

“IRFAN is now classified as a ‘terrorist group’ under Canadian law,” the letter from Supt. Stephane Bonin states.

“As a consequence, any property or asset belonging to IRFAN is now frozen.”

The letter offers no reason for the listing decision but Canada Revenue Agency has said the organization supported Hamas, itself branded as a terrorist organization.

A statement Tuesday from Public Affairs Minister Steven Blaney noted CRA’s contention — which was to be argued in court next week — that IRFAN provided aid to groups run by officials of, or who supported Hamas.

IRFAN, based in Mississauga, Ont., sent about $14.6 million in resources to “various organizations associated with Hamas” between 2005 and 2009, the statement said.
Charitable status revoked

The non-profit IRFAN was due in Federal Court of Appeal on May 6 to contest a 2011 CRA decision to revoke its charitable status because of its alleged ties to Hamas and failure to keep proper records.

No one for IRFAN was available to comment, but a lawyer speaking for the group condemned the listing as an attack on humanitarian support for Palestinians.

AsiaNews – “With the support of local authorities, some Uzbek imams have denied the families of non-Muslims the right to bury their loved ones in state-owned cemeteries.

Three cases involving Protestants have been reported in recent weeks, raising questions about religious freedom in Uzbekistan, this according to the Forum 18, a news service that documents violations of religious freedom in Central Asia.

The three people involved are all former Muslims who converted to Protestant Christianity. In each case, their families were not allowed to bury them alongside other relatives.

In Central Asian culture, being buried together with family members and with the participation of the local community are important.

Although Forum 18 reported the first case only a few days ago, the latter dates back to 9 April. It concerns Gayrat Buriyev, 68-year-old Christian, originally from a village near the capital Tashkent.

The local imam refused to let his relatives bury him in the state-owned cemetery, repeatedly cursing the deceased’s family. When the latter appealed to local government authorities, they were unsuccessful.

The ban stems from the deceased’s conversion to Christianity. Cemeteries are state-owned, but converts cannot be buried along with Muslims, the imam said.

‘The imam cursed the family for becoming Christians and insulted them with unquotable expressions, branding them unclean and defiled infidels,’ local sources said, adding that he was ‘acting based on Islamic Sharia Law’.

Complaints by relatives were to no avail. Although they insisted that Uzbekistan is (or ought to be) a secular state and cemeteries are state-owned, the local imam, claimed that the one in question was ‘a Muslim cemetery’ and Christians are not allowed.” Read more.

Baghdad (AsiaNew / Agencies) – The Iraqi Chaldean Patriarch, Louis Raphael Sako I, says he is seriously concerned over the continuing decline of Christian presence in the country: “If measures are not taken soon, in 10 years’ time there will only be a few thousand Christians left in Iraq”.

The Iraqi Christian community had more than a million followers, 600 thousand in Baghdad alone, now they have less than 400 thousand in the whole country. The main causes of this massive migration are poor security, increased death threats against Christians from Islamists and the seizure of their property by armed groups.

The Patriarch describes the scale of the phenomenon of migration as “frightening” and says it is worsened by the encouragement of Western powers.

After visiting communities throughout the country, Sako said: “Christians are those who suffer most from the upsurge in violence across Iraq. This is due to the fact that Christians do not maintain tribal affiliations, as do Arab Muslims. The only way they have to resolve disputes is through the Iraqi legal system, which is often criticized for its corruption, and which is subject to political manipulation”.

By Phil Benson, WFSB – “A man who allegedly told his wife his ‘Islamic belief’ gave him the right to kill her is behind bars after he punched and tried to strangle her inside his vehicle, according to a court document.

Ansar Muhammad, 43, was arrested at the couple’s home in Avondale Saturday morning on charges of unlawful imprisonment as well as aggravated and sexual assault, among others.

His wife told police the incidents were sparked after Muhammad had accused her of having an affair, court paperwork said.

At one point, Muhammad picked her up and put her in their vehicle, police said. He then drove to and parked behind an Avondale Walgreens store, where the he punched her multiple times in the face, neck, back, chest and legs, officers said.

A court document stated Muhammad ‘used his hands during the assault to strangulate and impede the breathing of the victim.’

His wife said she continued to try to get away. Muhammad told her he was going to kill her because he had the right due to his ‘Islamic belief,’ according to the probable cause statement.

Muhammad then drove his wife back to their home and threatened to throw her in a surrounding lake because she could not swim, court paperwork stated.

He told her to be quiet and not wake their three children before taking her phone and telling her to go to the master bedroom, where he sexually assaulted her, the court document said.” Read more.

By Fred Dardick, Canada Free Press – “How many times have we heard the same old tired line, that only an infinitesimally small, almost imperceptible number of Muslims are radicalized? You know the story: a couple of young men cut the head off of a soldier in middle of a busy street yelling ‘Allahu Akbar’ is followed by a litany of Islamic apologists on the airwaves claiming that the majority of Muslims are quite moderate and would never, ever condone such actions. Sounds great, but is it true? Short answer: Not even close.

The truth is the majority of Islamists are far more radical than what most Americans can appreciate. Take the question of apostates; those who leave Islam for another religion. According to the Koran the penalty is death. No negotiation, no compromise, just take the poor victim out back and cut off his head. The vast majority of Americans would consider such a penalty for switching religions a bit extreme, but according to a 2013 Pew Research Survey over 50% of Islamists in the Middle East and South Asia view beheading as an appropriate punishment for turning your back on Allah.

Then there’s the question of punishment for female adulterers, which according to Islam is death by stoning, a view that is once again shared by over 50% of Islamists in the Middle East and North Africa. No wonder Islamic fathers and brothers have a tendency to murder their daughters and sisters when they ‘dishonor’ their family – they’re just following the example set for them by the Koran. Abu Azmi, a leader in the Indian Socialist Party and practicing Islamist, went even further by suggesting that female victims of rape should ‘be hanged’ because they engaged in ‘sex’ outside of marriage, a not at all unusual opinion in the Muslim world.

So while millions upon millions of Muslims are calling for the violent death of their neighbors who find Christ or are smitten with love, what do they think about actual dyed-in-the-wool terrorism? Here is where things get interesting. Rather than a majority getting behind bus bombings and school bloodbaths, the support for terrorist attacks against civilian targets drops to 20% or less in most Muslim communities, which is still around 250 million people worldwide openly applauding heinous crimes against their fellow man, a gigantic, mind-numbing number, but also likely means that 1 in 4 of them are lying. If you’re going to support murdering your next door neighbor for converting to Christianity or stoning your daughter to death for having a boyfriend, what could you possibly care about a bus full of Brits getting blown to hell in London?

Then there is the question of Sharia Law, which well over 80% of Muslims favor making the official law of the land.” Read more.
