By Ahmed Shiwesh, ARA News – “The radical group of Islamic State (ISIS) on Tuesday executed a teenage boy in Mosul city of Iraq’s northwestern Nineveh province.

The 15-year-old boy was arrested by ISIS militants in central Mosul for listening to ‘western music’, according to local sources.

‘Ayham Hussein was captured by the jihadis while listening to Pop music at the grocery store of his father in the Nabi Younis marketplace in western Mosul. He was referred to the Sharia Court, which issued a decision to execute him,’ a spokesman for the Nineveh media center told ARA News.

‘ISIS jihadis publicly beheaded the boy,’ the source said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The victim’s body was reportedly handed over to his family on Tuesday evening. The incident has raised public outrage among Mosul’s residents.

‘There was no formal decision by the Sharia Court that ban listening to western music,’ the source said, adding this was the first case of its kind to be documented in Mosul.” Source – ARA News.

By Fred Jackson and Steve Jordahl, One News Now – “New and disturbing details are beginning to emerge about last night’s attack at a restaurant in Columbus, Ohio.

A man with a machete walked into the Nazareth Restaurant & Deli and began attacking customers. Four people were injured, one with critical wounds. Police shot and killed the man after he attempted to flee the scene.

CBS News has identified the man as Mohammed Barry, a Somali Muslim.

According to Daniel Horowitz, senior editor at Conservative Review, the restaurant, which serves Middle Eastern cuisine, is owned by an Israeli Christian. He says Islamic persecution of Christians may have come to America.

‘It would be an awful coincidence if a Somali Muslim happened to just randomly get upset one day, come in with an axe, and the target just happened to be a prominent Israeli Christian restaurant,’ Horowitz tells OneNewsNow.

CBS says officials believe the Somali suspect may have traveled to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in 2012. Law enforcement is concerned that this is a terror attack and have called in the FBI. At this point, they say it appears to be a ‘lone wolf attack.’ Horowitz reacts to that report.

‘Once again the FBI is resorting to their talking point of a ‘lone wolf attack.’ Well, it might be a lone wolf in that this person wasn’t officially commanded, controlled, and directed by a professional terror group. But it is part of the global jihad,’ he emphasizes.

According to Horowitz, when officials call something a ‘lone wolf attack’ they’re trying to diminish the existential threat Americans face from Islamic terror. In fact, he says, it’s even more terrifying than a 9/11-type al Qaida or ISIS plot.

‘What is even worse is just a ubiquitous, widespread jihad where you have hundreds of thousands of Muslim immigrants living in Western countries, and at any point they could target anyone,’ he laments.” Source – One News Now.

The NHL’s hockey operations department is taking a look at Nazem Kadri’s throat-slashing gesture towards Mark Giordano after the Flames defenceman dazed Kadri with a hit in the first period of Tuesday night’s 4-3 Calgary win at the Saddledome.

“There was emotion, I couldn’t tell if it was a clean hit or not,” Kadri told reporters. “I was told it was, but it certainly didn’t feel like it. It [the throat slash] is something I don’t really remember doing. I was in and out a little bit.”

“I guess it’s going to be reviewed [by the league], but it was an emotional reaction.”

The 25-year-old Kadri was disciplined for the same gesture while playing for Canada in a game against Switzerland at the 2010 world junior hockey championship.

Rush Limbaugh is right: he has been markedly critical of Christianity and has repeatedly and effusively praised Islam. So why did he become a Christian at all?

This is aside from the widespread suspicion that he is or was a Muslim, which is based as much on his statements and policies as President as it is on the fact that his father and stepfather were Muslims and that he says in his first autobiography that he got in trouble as a child for making faces in Qur’an class, which Christian children did not attend. Whether or not one thinks he was ever a Muslim, the question Rush raises is intriguing — if he wasn’t one, and he loves Islam so much, why didn’t he become one? Was it just for political gain?

Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh asked aloud on his radio program Thursday why President Barack Obama made the choice to become a Christian.

Limbaugh, referencing the president’s recent trip to a Baltimore mosque this week, argued Obama is “constantly talking [Islam] up.”

“President Obama is routinely defending it, talking it up, promoting it,” Limbaugh contended, according to an online transcript posted to his official website.

“He talks about how awesome Islam is all the time, one of the most beautiful sounds he’s ever heard is the morning call to prayer in an Islamic country,” the radio show host added. “He says it’s the most peaceful, most giving religion out there, that the mosque called a prayer one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. And, at the same time, he’s out there, and look what he says about Christians. He says he is one. Look, he talks about ‘em as bitter clingers and they hold on to their guns when they’re nervous.”

Limbaugh then revealed his question.

“My question is, given all this, why did he choose to become a Christian? I’ve always wondered that,” he told his audience. “He’s such a defender and promoter of Islam, and, on the other hand, he and his party are constantly denigrating Christians. I don’t care what the issue is, whether it’s guns, whether it’s gay marriage, any cultural or social issue, or the bitter clinger comments. I’ve always wondered about this.”…

“The holy Qur’an says …”

By Joseph Klein, FrontPage Mag – “President Barack Obama spoke for the first time as president at a U.S. mosque on February 3, 2016. His choice was the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Islamic Society of Baltimore mosque, where he portrayed Islam as having ‘always been part of America.’

The Islamic Society of Baltimore was established in 1969. If Obama had wanted to speak at ‘the oldest purpose-built mosque that is still in use today’ in the United States, in order to try to demonstrate that Islam has ‘always been part of America,’ he would have found it in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It would not have helped his cause, however. This mosque, known as ‘the Mother Mosque of America,’ dates way back – drum roll, please – to 1934. The oldest mosque in the U.S. was built in North Dakota in 1929.

To provide some perspective on how short a time it has been since the first mosques in the United States were built, the Touro Synagogue in Newport, Rhode Island, the oldest surviving Jewish synagogue building in North America, was completed in 1763.

Nevertheless, in making the case that Islam has ‘always been part of America,’ Obama noted that Muslims were arriving on our shores as far back as colonial times.

‘Starting in colonial times, many of the slaves brought here from Africa were Muslim,’ Obama declared.

It is worth recalling the National Prayer Breakfast about a year ago, when Obama charged that ‘Slavery…all too often was justified in the name of Christ.’ He evidently believes that the early waves of Muslims coming to America as slaves were entirely the victims of a Christian-based slavery system. He won’t admit the truth: that their Muslim brethren in Africa had sold some of ‘the slaves brought here from Africa’ in the first place. These Muslim slave traders were jihadists operating in West African territories that had been forcibly taken over by Muslim warriors and turned into Islamic theocracies.” Read more.
