By Maayan Lubell, Reuters – “Two Palestinians armed with a meat cleaver and a gun killed four worshippers in a Jerusalem synagogue on Tuesday before being shot dead by police, the deadliest such incident in six years in the holy city amid a surge in religious conflict.

Three of the victims held dual U.S.-Israeli citizenship and the fourth man was a British-Israeli national, police said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to respond with a ‘heavy hand’, and again accused Western-backed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of inciting violence in Jerusalem.

Abbas condemned the attack, which comes after weeks of unrest fueled in part by a dispute over Jerusalem’s holiest shrine.

A worshipper at the service in the Kehillat Bnei Torah synagogue in an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of West Jerusalem said about 25 people were praying when shooting broke out.

‘I looked up and saw someone shooting people at point-blank range. Then someone came in with what looked like a butcher’s knife and he went wild,’ the witness, Yosef Posternak, told Israel Radio.

Photos distributed by Israeli authorities showed a man in a prayer shawl lying dead, a bloodied butcher’s cleaver on the floor and prayer books covered in blood.

‘We are viewing this as a terrorist attack,’ said police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, who confirmed the four dead and that the two assailants, both from predominantly Arab East Jerusalem, had been shot dead by police.

Israel’s ambulance service said at least eight people were seriously wounded.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, said it carried out the attack, which it called a ‘heroic operation’.” Read more.

Israel To Ease Gun Controls For Self-Defence After Terror Attack – “Israel is to ease controls on carrying weapons for self-defence in the wake of a deadly Palestinian attack on a Jerusalem synagogue, Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said on Tuesday. ‘In the coming hours, I will ease restrictions on carrying weapons,’ he said in remarks broadcast on public radio, indicating it would apply to anyone with a licence to carry a gun, such as private security guards and off-duty army officers.” Source – AFP.

By Fuad Ahmed, Sabahi – “Al-Shabaab beheaded two women and kidnapped more than 20 civilians it accused of spying and opposing its views after briefly re-taking control of Kudha island on November 8th.

‘I can guarantee that the two women beheaded by al-Shabaab and the more than 20 civilians they [kidnapped] had nothing to do with the accusations levelled against them of spying for the Interim Jubba Administration (IJA),’ said Colonel Urdan Kilas Gurase of the IJA security forces.

‘The women were under the age of 20, and what these men are doing is barbaric,’ he told Sabahi.

Al-Shabaab fled Kudha Monday (November 10th), three days after attacking the island and killing at least 15 members of the IJA forces.

IJA forces are now back in control of the island, Gurase said.

Al-Shabaab militants had conducted house-to-house searches on the island and transported the kidnapped civilians to an unknown location, according to local media reports.

Many Kudha residents fled to remote areas out of fear of al-Shabaab’s brutality, Gurase said.

‘The [militants] are harming the public because they are upset at how the [civilians] were happy at their losses. All the civilians want is to be free of these al-Shabaab terrorists,’ he said.

Speaking from Kismayo, Kudha elder Omer Jeylani, 50, told Sabahi that people there are worried about the conditions their friends and families are facing back home.

‘The thing that worried us the most is when we heard two innocent women were beheaded in the middle of Kudha and the whereabouts of more than 20 people is unknown after al-Shabaab took them,’ Jeylani said. ‘We think they slaughtered those people too.’

It has been difficult to communicate with the people of Kudha as al-Shabaab has disrupted the communications network, Jeylani said.

‘It is difficult for us to communicate with our relatives there, and the people will not tell us much when we do get them [on the phone],’ he said. ‘They are frightened because al-Shabaab have forcefully entered many houses and taken people whose whereabouts are still unknown.'” Read more.

By Deb Riechmann, Associated Press – “Militant leaders from the Islamic State group and al-Qaida gathered at a farm house in northern Syria last week and agreed on a plan to stop fighting each other and work together against their opponents, a high-level Syrian opposition official and a rebel commander have told The Associated Press.

Such an accord could present new difficulties for Washington’s strategy against the IS group. While warplanes from a U.S.-led coalition strike militants from the air, the Obama administration has counted on arming ‘moderate’ rebel factions to push them back on the ground. Those rebels, already considered relatively weak and disorganized, would face far stronger opposition if the two heavy-hitting militant groups now are working together.

IS – the group that has seized nearly a third of Syria and Iraq with a campaign of brutality and beheadings this year – and al-Qaida’s affiliate in Syria, known as the Nusra Front, have fought each other bitterly for more than a year to dominate the rebellion against Syrian President Bashar Assad.

The Associated Press reported late last month on signs that the two groups appear to have curtailed their feud with informal local truces. Their new agreement, according to the sources in rebel groups opposed to both IS and Nusra Front, would involve a promise to stop fighting and team up in attacks in some areas of northern Syria.

Cooperation, however, would fall short of unifying the rival groups, and experts believe any pact between the two sides could easily unravel. U.S. intelligence officials have been watching the groups closely and say a full merger is not expected soon – if ever. A U.S. official with access to intelligence about Syria said the American intelligence community has not seen any indications of a shift in the two groups’ strategy, but added that he could not rule out tactical deals on the ground. The official insisted on anonymity because he said he was not authorized to speak publicly about the subject.

According to a Syrian opposition official speaking in Turkey, the meeting took place Nov. 2 in the town of Atareb, west of Aleppo, starting at around midnight and lasting until 4 a.m. The official said the meeting was closely followed by members of his movement, and he is certain that an agreement was reached. Declaring the end from the beginning, the Bible is proving itself to be more than just human in origin every day. According to the article below it may be largely “business as usual” in west Jerusalem right now, but in the Old City of east Jerusalem — which was built around 1000 BC and was the entire city of Jerusalem up until 1860 where the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and al Aqsa Mosque all reside — we’re seeing an entirely different situation develop. Jews, Christians and Muslims all reside within the Old City, but Muslims — increasingly “radicalized” and lawless — now make up the overwhelming number of residents. And this, my friends, is prophetic. According to Zechariah 14:1-3, the world will one day witness an “intifada” unlike any other, an uprising that could be sparked by a triggering event to rouse the Muslim population to obligatory jihad, possibly strengthened by other Islamist elements coming from or through the West Bank to take over much of east Jerusalem. The homes of Jews and Christians will be plundered, non-Muslim women will be raped as the “spoils of war.” And as that day approaches, let us not sleep as others do, but let us watch and be sober. Raheli, who is eight months pregnant, recently stopped travelling on the city’s light railway system, which she dubs ‘the train of fear’, after deadly attacks at roadside stops by lone Palestinians.

‘The last time I took it I stayed pressed against the back wall of the train stop,’ she says. ‘I had images in my head of a car ramming in to us or an explosion. It’s too stressful, I would rather walk.’

Earlier this month a Palestinian from east Jerusalem deliberately rammed his car into two groups of pedestrians, killing a border police officer and wounding another nine people, the second deadly car attack in two weeks.

Twin knife attacks outside Jerusalem this week killed an Israeli soldier and a young woman and wounded two others as simmering violence spread across Israel and the occupied West Bank.

In annexed east Jerusalem, Israeli passengers now get off the train and take the bus in a bid to avoid the hail of stones from Palestinian protesters that is becoming a daily occurrence.

Yoni, on his way to the Hebrew University, barely looks up from his book as he makes his way through the hotspot.

‘That is what the Palestinians want. They want us to live in fear,’ he says.

NBC News – “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of extremist group ISIS, called on his supporters to ‘erupt volcanoes of jihad’ in an apparent new audio message released Thursday. The recording, which appeared to be genuine according to Flashpoint Intelligence, a global security firm and NBC News counterterrorism consultancy, came days after speculation that Baghdadi had been wounded in an airstrike in Iraq.

‘O soldiers of the Islamic State, continue to harvest the soldiers,’ the recording said. ‘Erupt volcanoes of jihad everywhere. Light the Earth with fire.’ The extremist leader claimed the bombing campaign against ISIS in Syria and Iraq is failing, saying: ‘America and its allies are terrified, weak, and powerless.’

He also said ISIS fighters would not ‘never abandon fighting,’ adding: ‘They will be triumphant, even if only one man of them is left.’

The message, shared on jihadist web sites, appeared to have been recorded recently and included a reference to Egyptian militant group Ansar Beit al-Maqdis, which pledged allegiance to Baghdadi on Monday.

Baghdadi called for attacks in Saudi Arabia, said his self-declared caliphate was expanding across the Arab world.

The United States has not confirmed that Baghdadi, who has led ISIS since 2010, was wounded in any airstrike, as claimed by Iraq’s defense and interior ministries on Sunday.” Source – NBC News.

Islamic State Spokesman Confirms ISIS Leader Wounded In Airstrike – “Abu Muhammad Al-Adnani, believed to be a spokesman for the Islamic State terror group, confirmed Sunday that Baghdadi was injured by a US airstrike, writing on Twitter: ‘Perhaps you suspected that the Caliphate ended with martyrdom of the Caliph. I assure the [Islamic] nation that the Emir Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is well thank god, and I wish him a speedy recovery.’ … Colonel Patrick Ryder, a Central Command spokesman, said the US military had reason to believe that the convoy of 10 vehicles was carrying leaders of Islamic State, an al-Qaida offshoot which controls large chunks of Iraq and Syria. The convoy consisted of 10 Islamic State armed trucks.” Read more.

By Jack Moore, International Business Times – “A former Islamic State [IS] bodyguard of a notorious militant has revealed the depravity of the group’s actions in their battle to expand their self-proclaimed caliphate in Iraq and Syria.

The bodyguard of Saddam Jamal, named only as Abu Abdullah, told The Daily Telegraph about his time guarding Jamal in an exclusive interview.

The IS militant was formerly a drug dealer before joining the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and then defecting to IS.

His bodyguard spoke of a series of shocking incidents, including when Jamal forced a mother and father to watch as a fellow jihadist killed their children one at a time.

‘Starting with a thirteen-year-old boy, they lined up the sons according to their height and beheaded them in that order,’ said the bodyguard.

‘Afterwards, they hung the boys’ heads on the door of the school the family had been hiding in.’

Abdullah was clear that, for Jamal, being a militant of IS was not about a higher calling but to obtain more power.

‘There are, of course, some who really believe that killing and whipping is the correct way to spread Islam,’ he told The Daily Telegraph.

‘But for Jamal, he doesn’t really care if the mission spreads Islam. All he cares about is becoming more powerful. Now, if a stronger organisation emerges, he will join it. And there are lots of men in Isil just like him.’

Abdullah said that Jamal would copy his fellow ’emirs’ in IS and control their territory through force, fear and hypocrisy.

‘They kidnap and carry out assassinations,’ he said. ‘They think nothing of bringing down a whole building with women and children inside, just to kill one person.'” Read more.

Those jihadists could be scamming you, he says (in obedience to Mohammed’s command to deceive in times of war, perhaps?) Too bad this cleric doesn’t realize that the real scam is Islam itself.  In the Qur’an, the “prophet” Mohammed says that “If I am astray, I only stray to the loss of my own soul” (Sura 34:50). Logically, however, such a statement is patently false on its face. If the teachings of Mohammed are wrong, then it isn’t just this self-declared (false) “prophet” who loses his soul. It’ll be the souls of every single one of his followers throughout history who had chosen to reject Yahweh and His Messiah in exchange for Allah and his “messenger” that will be lost, forever …

In the U.S., Ahmadi spokesmen such as Qasim Rashid and Harris Zafar are eager waterboys for the Islamic supremacist agenda, smearing foes of jihad terror and partnering with individuals and groups who are linked to those who hate and persecute the Ahmadiyya in Pakistan and Indonesia. But that doesn’t win the Ahmadis any support from those Muslims who consider them heretics.

And of course, the idea of an event on how peaceful Islam is being threatened by Muslims who disagree is a rich example of  deception of the Infidels meeting reality.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Students’ Association at York has reportedly received warnings from security for potential backlash from students for its upcoming event, Stop the CrISIS.

An emergency meeting was called on November 4 to discuss the event, and due to an overwhelming response, the event will move from Vari Hall to Curtis Lecture Hall.

AMSA executives, members of risk management services at York, York security, and information technology services were reportedly in this emergency meeting.

The event, taking place on November 13, was sparked by the shooting in Ottawa to highlight the peaceful teachings of Islam.

AMSA is expecting overflow for the event, as it has been featured on numerous media outlets over the past couple of weeks.

The old venue in Vari Hall could seat 300 people, while a new venue could possibly seat 1,000.
