Muhammad beheaded the Qurayzah men because he considered them to have betrayed him and effectively revolted against his rule. So the Islamic State here is following Muhammad’s example quite closely.

‘ISIS Fighter Defends Massacres Because Muhammed ‘Slaughtered 700 People,” by Mary Chastain, Breitbart, November 5, 2014:

A Russian Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) fighter Abu Muhammad Ar-Rusi justified the massacres committed by the terrorist group because Islam’s Prophet Muhammed killed many people. The message in the video is directed to Muslims “who speak Russian.”

“You accuse us of the mass killing of Muslims, saying that we are blood-shedding murderers,” said the fighter. “Didn’t the Prophet Muhammad and his companions shed blood? Haven’t you read his biography, written by Ibn Hisham, which says that the Messenger of Allah killed 700 people in a single battle? He slaughtered 700 people—that is our Prophet and our religion.”

Ibn Ishaq wrote the original biography; Hisham edited Ishaq’s book. The invasion of Banu Qurayza might be the battle to which the fighter is referring. It is also referenced in the Koran and other Islamic literature. The Banu Qurayza was a Jewish tribe in northern Arabia. The siege lasted 25 days and between 600-900 people were slaughtered. The men were publicly executed while women and children were sold off as slaves. The fighter said Muhammed took part in the executions, but author Subash Inamdar said the prophet did not participate.

The fighter also attempted to encourage Muslims to join the Islamic State. He said those who resist are not doing the work of Allah.

With regard to the Islamic State, the Caliphate, and the numerous accusations we have been accused of by those who sit idly by instead of going on Jihad, or those who do nothing for the religion of Allah, except for praying the five prayers, believing that by doing so, they are helping the religion of Allah,” he said. “You are not helping yourselves or the religion of Allah. Anyone who sits idly by and does not help the Islamic State today will be held accountable on Judgment Day.”

He continued: “I say to all our Muslim brothers and sisters: Join the Islamic State. Join your brothers. Do not wait until death comes to you. Do not wait until the path is blocked. As long as you can, perform hijra. The hijra is a duty. If you read any book on Islamic faith, you will see that it is a duty to perform hijra from Dar Al-Kufr to Dar Al-Islam. Do not procrastinate. Do not delude yourselves. Do not say to yourselves that that you will perform the hijra tomorrow or the day after.”…

Blowing up everyone in the country may sound like a lofty goal but if Muslims like this could, they would. For peaceful purposes. But worry not, because according to the defense he was simply in “a very poor mental state” (like the Prophet Mohammed) and was “badly affected by some tablets he had taken” (and some verses of the Qur’an he had obviously swallowed hook, line and sinker) …

Fazeel Khan, 28, appeared before Teesside Magistrates’ Court today to be sentenced for an offence relating to using a phone to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety to another, which he pleaded guilty to last month.

Prosecutor Joanne Hesse told the court that on June 17 this year, Khan, of Petch Street, Stockton, made four separate phone calls to emergency services, with each call getting ‘progressively more aggressive and threatening’.

She said that in the calls, dad-of-one Khan swore and told the operator he was a Muslim and that his ‘mission was to go to another country on a Jihad mission’ and that he ‘wanted to blow up everyone in this country’.

He then asked ‘So what are you going to do about it?’

John Nixon, defending Khan, said: ‘He made these phone calls in quick succession. No threats of any kind were made.’

He said at the time Khan was ‘in a very poor mental state’ and that ‘on the day of this offence he was badly affected by some tablets he had taken.’

He added: ‘There is no suggestion that the 999 operator was caused anxiety or distress. As far as 999 is concerned, this was a relatively low-key event’.” Read more.

By Donna Rachel Edmunds, Breitbart – “The extremist Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary has said that the British government should return his passport and grant him safe passage to Syria, so that he can see what life is like under Sharia law, The Times has reported. He confirmed that he would also consider renouncing his British citizenship if allowed to travel abroad.

London-born Choudary has gained a name for himself through his controversial media appearances in which he has espoused his support for public executions of those who insult the Prophet Mohammed, cutting the hands off convicted thieves, and the implementation of Sharia law in the UK.

In September Choudary, who has founded ten groups which have been banned under anti-terrorism laws, was arrested on suspicion of belonging to a proscribed group. He was released on bail under strict conditions, which included forfeiting his passport to the authorities.

He continues to deny any wrongdoing, and has now told the Times that he should have his passport handed back. ‘I believe the world belongs to God and that one day, hopefully, the UK will be part of an Islamic State. Why shouldn’t I be free to travel to the khilafah [caliphate] and see what life is like under the Sharia?’ he said.

‘The passport . . . is a basic human right and I don’t see why I should have to give it up or have my movement restricted. I want to know from the Home Office and the crown prosecution service if it is illegal for me to travel to live in the Islamic State if I have no intention of carrying out acts of terrorism.’

He also maintains that the timing of his arrest, and that of seven others, was politically motivated and intended to silence them, coming as it did the night before a Parliamentary vote on military intervention in Iraq.

Choudary has denied being in contact with anyone within the so-called Islamic State, but has called upon the Crown Prosecution Service to ‘make themselves clear’ as to whether people who travel to Iraq and Syria leave themselves open to prosecution, claiming the right to safe passage.

It is not a view supported by the Commons home affairs select committee chairman Keith Vaz, who said: ‘If he wants to go, he should be allowed to go. I think that would be a much better scenario than having him stay.

‘Why should the Home Office or anyone else give him safe passage? He must take the consequences if he is propagating the views of Isis, then he is putting himself at risk of prosecution. I think people would like to see the back of him.’

Choudary is no stranger to criticism. Last year he was repeatedly featured on both the BBC and Channel 4 in their news programs following the brutal public murder of drummer Lee Rigby on a London street, carried out by two Muslim extremists, drawing widespread criticism for the two media companies.” Read more.

As he welcomes us in, he appears a regular, happy-looking child: his hair is ruffled, his smile beaming, he wears a grey, hooded sweater.

But as we sit down to talk, he heads next door to change, returning in a black balaclava and military-style camouflage top.

He wants to be known as ‘Abu Hattab’.

Born in Syria, he was first radicalised last year, joining the jihadist group Sham al-Islam.

He had Sharia lessons and learned how to use weapons, proudly showing us pictures in which he takes aim with machine guns.

Now he spends his days online, watching jihadist videos and chatting on Facebook to IS fighters.

Within weeks, he says, he’ll go to the IS stronghold of Raqqa in Syria to become a young jihadi soldier.

‘I like Islamic State because they pursue Sharia and kill infidels, non-Sunnis and those who converted from Islam,’ he says.

‘The people killed by Islamic State are American agents. We must behead them as Allah said in the Koran.’

I ask whether he has disclosed his age to those to whom he talks online.

‘At the start, I didn’t,’ he says.

‘But recently I told them – and now they contact me even more, sending me photos and news.’

But why not simply enjoy his childhood, I ask?

‘I don’t want to go out with friends or have fun. Allah ordered us to work and fight for the next life – for paradise. Before, I went to the park or the seaside.

‘But then I realised I was wrong – and I’ve taken the righteous path.'” Read more.

By Ahmed Rasheed and Michael Georgy, The Daily Star – “After ISIS seized Fallujah in January it persuaded a man making covers for cars to sell suicide vests instead, one of many changes in the Iraqi city as it adapts to life under the ultra hard-line militants.

ISIS is notorious for beheading or executing anyone who stands in its way when seizing cities and towns in Iraq and Syria that form its self-proclaimed caliphate, often using suicide bombers to make advances.

The militants have issued guidelines on life with their ideology, requiring all women to wear face veils, and banning the cigarettes and Western-style haircuts that were popular in Fallujah before.

Many residents feel alienated by the changes. But in order to keep the ’empire’ and its holy war against governments and armies going, ISIS also strikes deals with people like the tailor, according to recent visitors to Fallujah who spoke to Reuters in Baghdad by telephone.

ISIS provided a generator and free fuel, enabling him to boost profits and churn out suicide vests, belts and trousers from a building pockmarked by U.S. bullets used against Al-Qaeda nearly a decade ago.

‘I passed through hard times. I have children to feed. I chose this new profession willingly and I take responsibility for the outcome,’ the tailor said.

Like other people quoted in this story, his name has not been included for security reasons.

Fallujah was the first Iraqi city to fall to ISIS, an Al-Qaeda offshoot comprised of Arabs and foreign fighters who have threatened to march on nearby Baghdad…

Why Rap And Thrill When You Can Rape And Kill?

By Jack Moore, International Business Times – “German rapper Denis Cuspert, otherwise known by his stage name of ‘Deso Dogg’, has appeared in an Islamic State (Isis) beheading video.

According to Deutsche Welle, it is not clear whether Cuspert committed the killings in the video but he is shown holding the head of an opponent of the terror group. He says that the beheading victims had chosen to fight against IS and ‘that’s why they received the death penalty’.

Cuspert, who now goes by the nomme de guerre of Abu Talha al-Amani, appears in the video speaking his mother tongue, in an attempt to attract German Salafists and impressionable, young Germans.

There were reports earlier this year that Cuspert was killed while fighting in Syria but this videoappears to contradict this claim.

The authenticity of the video, released by Syrian activists in the country’s Dair as-Saur province, is however yet to be verified.

Cuspert is a Muslim convert who holds previous prison convictions and was born to a German mother and a Ghanaian father in Berlin.

A report by the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution has shown that hundreds of young Germans who have made the journey to Syria to fight in the four-year-long civil war for jihadi groups are mainly young males who have failed to finish school.

Some 6% of those jihadists only finished further school training and only 2% went into further education after school.

Many of the German jihadis flocking to Syria have been radicalised in the Salafist scene within Germany which has seen support grow …” Read more.

(ANSAmed) – CAIRO, NOVEMBER 3 – The Islamic State (ISIS) has issued a statement saying that an Islamic Caliphate will be established in the Sinai, calling it the “first step towards the invasion of Jerusalem”. The statement threatens Egyptian security forces, which were suffered an attack on October 24. ISIS urged jihadists in the region to “destroy police checkpoints and stations, launch RPGs at their gatherings and show the world that the Rule of God must be imposed”.
