But footage of life under the rule of ISIS has revealed the lasting effects of the group’s barbarity, with women and children strolling past the decapitated bodies of Syrian soldiers in the city of Raqqa without giving them a second glance.

Unaffected by the sight of the decaying corpses, civilians do not even acknowledge the men’s impaled heads positioned on fences across the city which has become a recruiting hub for extremists.

It is among the most gruesome hallmarks of life under the group’s control since jihadis stormed President Assad’s army and took hold earlier this year.

The video, filmed in July, offers a rare glimpse into civilian life since ISIS launched a campaign of terror against Syria and Iraq.

Scattered corpses lie on pavements and roads with some tied to fencing, their severed heads stuck between their legs, as black-clad ISIS fighters patrol the streets.

In other parts of the town preachers urge children, with black balaclavas disguising their innocent faces, to disobey their parents and join the militant group.

‘I swear to god we will see a caliphate based on the prophecy. Be with the state or you will be the ones who get killed,’ a man threatened one group of silent youngsters to a backdrop of the group’s ominous flag.

While the corpses of President Assad’s troops will be removed within three days, the threat of death is enduring for everyone else, one civilian revealed.” Read more.

Flashback: ISIS Caliphate Beheads Hundreds Of Members Of Syrian Tribe, 300 Men Slaughtered In One Day Alone – “The Islamic State militant group has executed 700 members of a tribe it has been battling in eastern Syria during the past two weeks, the majority of them civilians, a human rights monitoring group and activists said on Saturday. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which has tracked violence on all sides of the three-year-old conflict, said reliable sources reported beheadings were used to execute many of the al-Sheitaat tribe, which is from Deir al-Zor province.” Read more.

By Tom Wyke, Mail Online – “A sickening photo has emerged social media showing a toddler kicking the severed head of a dead soldier in Syria.

The toddler’s father is believed to be an avid Islamic State supporter and is wearing a camouflage military style baseball cap on his head.

The father can be seen smiling with delight in the photo as he watches his innocent child kick the severed head.

Leaning over, the bearded man, wearing a short white thoub, appears to be helping his young child to raise their small leg and kick the rotting head of the dead body.

At least one person, wearing three quarter length jeans can be seen watching the horrific scene.

The severed head, which is too gruesome to show in full detail, appears to be several days old.

It appears to be the head of a dead prisoner, although it is hard to distinguish his features due to the heavy decomposition of the face.

The face has also suffered a deep wound, suggesting the victim had been militated with a knife.

The horrific photo comes just hours after ‘Raqqa is being Slaughtered silently’, a Syrian activist group based in the ISIS stronghold posted photos of the latest barbaric execution carried out by IS.

The photo shows a crowd of young boys, standing around a wooden gallows. There appears to be at least ten boys in the photo, but few are focused on the gruelsome scene nearby.

At the center of the photo is the body of a Syrian rebel member, who has been crucified and beheaded.” Read more.

The boy is the son of the wanted Australian terrorist Khaled Sharrouf, according to the Metro. The boy was pictured holding the head in the northern Syrian city of Raqqa. His father tweeted the photo along with the caption ‘That’s my boy!’. He also posed with the head himself under the caption ‘what a head.’” Read more.

If this “influential” Muslim leader and other wannabe jihadists like him want to stop sitting in the comfort of their Western homes as inferior Muslims and go to Syria to fight and die for the cause of their “Allah” then we should be doing all we can to get them away from us as quickly as possible. The longer we force them to live amongst us, the more danger we foolishly put ourselves in …

Stuff – “An influential Maori Muslim leader is openly supporting the Islamic State militant group and believes Kiwi fighters should not be stopped from joining.

Te Amorangi Kireka-Whaanga is the head of the Aotearoa Maori Muslim Association and in 2010 was named one of the world’s 500 most influential Muslims by a group in Jordan, one of only two New Zealanders to make the list.

The Sunday Star-Times began investigating him after discovering his Facebook pages were festooned with Islamic State imagery. He has 905 friends on Facebook, many of them Muslim converts from around New Zealand. His pages have been repeatedly taken down in recent weeks by Facebook administrators.

Islamic State has been taking over towns and cities in Syria and Iraq, conducting massacres and beheadings of hostages, as it tries to establish an Islamic caliphate. Its followers in the West have been conducting ‘lone wolf’ terrorist attacks in recent weeks.

At home in Hastings yesterday, Kireka-Whaanga told the Star-Times Muslims were being killed all over the world, the United Nations ‘doesn’t care’ and he understood Islamic State’ actions.

‘If you practise your religion then of course you’ll be 100 per cent behind Islamic State,’ he said, adding that he was not a violent person. His comments come as tension rises between Muslim New Zealanders and others in the community following statements by Prime Minister John Key about the domestic terror threat.

Muslim leaders and senior police met in Auckland on Friday to discuss the issues.

Federation of Islamic Associations (FIANZ) president Anwar Ghani said they expressed concerns about the amount of harassment they were getting, including women wearing veils being abused, while police asked that community leaders keep an eye out for changing behaviour among potential radicals.

Kireka-Whaanga said John Key was right to be worried because Islamic State was going to ‘bring down Western civilisation’. He said his family wanted to move to Syria but he expected his passport would be cancelled. He claimed to have one ‘brother’ in Syria at the moment.

BBC – “Mass killings by Islamic State militants have seen 322 members of an Iraqi Sunni tribe killed in western Anbar province, Iraq’s government says.

The country’s ministry of human rights said more than 50 bodies were found in a water well, whilst 65 members of the Al-Bu Nimr tribe have been kidnapped.

The group’s latest attack came on Sunday morning when militants shot and killed at least 50 of the tribe.

IS militants – also Sunnis – control large areas of Iraq and Syria.

The ministry said IS is holding the 65 hostages as prisoners of war. The jihadist group also stole livestock from the tribe, it said.

A senior leader of the tribe, Sheikh Naeem Al Gaoud told the BBC: ‘The government abandoned us and gave us to Isis on a platter.

‘We asked them many times for weapons but they gave us only promises.’

The BBC’s Orla Guerin, in Baghdad, says mass killings of the tribe have become an almost daily occurrence.

Tribal leaders said Sunday’s victims, who reportedly included 10 women and children, were lined up and publically shot as punishment for what IS sees at the tribe’s resistance.

A number of people from the Al-Bu Nimr tribe were also found dead in mass graves earlier this week. Fifty others were killed on Saturday.

The latest shootings occurred in the village of Ras al-Maa, north of the provincial capital Ramadi.” Read more.

RIA Novosti – “Islamic State (IS) fighters have beheaded a man for allegedly working for Syrian President Bashar Assad and announced that all who insult Allah are to be executed, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Friday.

‘Der-Ezzor province: ISIS executed a man from al-Mayadin city in al-Jerdaq yard, on the charge of working for Bashar al-Assad as a cop, and judged him with ‘al-Radda’,’ the London-based observatory said on its official Facebook page.

‘ISIS fighters have announced today that everyone [who] insults Allah will be executed and beheaded,’ SOHR said.

The group is notoriously known for its extreme violence. Earlier, the IS released videos showing the executions of US and UK citizens. In addition, Algerian militants linked to the IS filmed the execution of a French national over Paris’ support for the US-led anti-IS airstrikes. On Sunday, Western media reported that a Russian citizen was shot to death by the jihadi group this spring.

The Islamic State (IS), also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS), or the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), has been fighting the Syrian government since 2012. In June 2014, the group extended its attacks to northern and western Iraq, declaring a caliphate on the territories that had fallen under its control.

If they were to acknowledge that, they would be admitting that the Islamic State has something to do with Islam, and that is off-limits for Obama Administration wonks.

‘Airstrikes against Islamic State do not seen to have affected flow of fighters to Syria,’ by Greg Miller, Washington Post, October 30, 2014:

More than 1,000 foreign fighters are streaming into Syria each month, a rate that has so far been unchanged by airstrikes against the Islamic State and efforts by other countries to stem the flow of departures, according to U.S. intelligence and counterterrorism officials.

The magnitude of the ongoing migration suggests that the U.S.-led air campaign has neither deterred significant numbers of militants from traveling to the region nor triggered such outrage that even more are flocking to the fight because of American intervention.

“The flow of fighters making their way to Syria remains constant, so the overall number continues to rise,” a U.S. intelligence official said. U.S. officials cautioned, however, that there is a lag in the intelligence being examined by the CIA and other spy agencies, meaning it could be weeks before a change becomes apparent.

The trend line established over the past year would mean that the total number of foreign fighters in Syria exceeds 16,000, and the pace eclipses that of any comparable conflict in recent decades, including the 1980s war in Afghanistan.

U.S. officials have attributed the flows to a range of factors, including the sophisticated recruiting campaigns orchestrated by groups in Syria such as the Islamic State and the relative ease with which militants from the Middle East, North Africa and Europe can make their way to that country….

The vast majority of those militants have come from other countries in the Middle East and North Africa. Tunisia has sent more fighters to Syria than any other nation.

More than 2,000 fighters have come from countries in Europe, carrying passports that would enable them to travel relatively freely in Western countries….

Although U.S. officials have not made public estimates of the rate at which foreign fighters are flowing into Syria, they have provided totals that trace a clear trajectory. The 15,000 figure cited by the White House last month was up sharply from an estimate of 12,000 in July and 7,000 in March.

Sun News – “The RCMP is warning both police and military to keep an eye out for terrorists following a threat from ISIS, QMI Agency has learned.

The notice went out Monday. Police and military were told to exercise vigilance and caution upon starting their shifts this week.

Several police forces, including those in Montreal and Quebec City, confirmed the RCMP advisory.

Montreal police sources tell QMI that its force held top-level meetings with the RCMP this week.

The RCMP warning is specifically aimed at police on solo patrols, who have been deemed to be at greatest risk.

Quebec’s Public Security minister, Lise Theriault, said the RCMP advisory follows an earlier threat from ISIS.

In September, ISIS spokesman Muhammad Al-Adnani called on followers to kill Canadians and others by various means including to ‘slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car.’

Theriault told QMI that citizens, as well as police, need to keep their eyes open for threats.

‘I think that vigilance will always be appropriate,’ she said. The minister urged citizens to call police if they believe someone has become radicalized or if they see violent Internet postings.

Two Canadian soldiers were killed by homegrown extremists last week.

Cpl. Nathan Cirillo was shot in the back and killed Oct. 22 while guarding the National War Memorial across from Parliament Hill.

Two days earlier, Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent was run over by a car and killed, while another soldier was injured, near a recruiting office in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.” Source – Sun News.

And then come to Syria “and kill everyone” there, too. Here we have, yet again, more Islamic terrorists that have absolutely nothing to do with Islam quoting the Qur’an in support of Islamic terror …

By Joanna Paraszczuk, RFERL – “Chechen Islamic State (IS) militants in the Syrian town of Kobani have urged Chechens in Europe to either join in the fighting in Syria, or commit acts of terror in Europe.

In a video published by ShamToday on October 26, the media wing associated with the predominantly Chechen Islamic State (IS) faction Katibat Al-Aqsa, a Chechen militant named Musa Abu-Yusuf Shishani calls on the Chechen diaspora to join IS.

The video, in Chechen, was shared on several pro-Islamic-State Russian-language social media accounts on October 26 and offers insights into the attitudes of Chechen IS militants who are on the frontline in Kobani. (It was removed by YouTube on October 27)

The speaker in the video, Musa Abu-Yusuf, is filmed in front of a burned-out car and claims he is in Kobani.

Musa Abu-Yusuf says that IS militants are defending not only against attacks from the Kurds, but also from the entire world, who have ‘suddenly started to defend the Kurds.’

He calls on all Chechens in Europe ‘not to look for reasons not to come [to Syria], you are obliged to come, and kill everyone.’

‘There are no civilians,’ Musa Abu-Yusuf adds. ‘Kill them all wherever they are, that is, in Europe itself. Kill just one Frenchman, one American, then they will rise up. Kill them all, wherever they are. In Europe.’

There is a large Chechen diaspora in Europe, many of them refugees from the First and Second Chechen Wars.
