A recent poll revealed that 72% of Dutch Muslims approved of violent jihad in Syria. Following the terror attack against a Jewish museum in Belgium by a former Syrian rebel fighter from France, EU anti-terror chief, Gilles de Kerchove, lamented that Europe can expect even more Islamist attacks from jihadists returning home from the fight. But as I said then, the problem that Europe is facing is much larger than hundreds or even thousands of rebel fighters finding their way back inside Western borders. It’s also the hundreds of thousands of like-minded Muslims that are already within them …

RT – “The Islamic State has declared Denmark an ‘enemy of Islam’ and the country is on the militant organization’s radar. This is according to a Danish-Turkish jihadist, who only gave his name as OA and previously fought for the organization in Syria.

The 27 year-old, who was born and raised in Denmark says The Islamic State, who was previously known as ISIS, ‘has become very international and Denmark is high up on the list, believe me,’ speaking to the Danish broadsheet newspaper, Politiken.

‘Denmark is not my country. The Muslims’ country is the caliphate and inshallah there will soon be an attack here. Denmark should prepare itself,’ the militant added as cited by The Local.

‘It is an open war now. ISIS has said that all infidels should be battled. They should be eliminated and soon it will be Denmark’s turn,’ OA continued.

The Danish born jihadist fought in Syria for Islamic State (IS), before returning back to Denmark, a country who he feels no affiliation for. Although he admits that IS is mainly concentrating its efforts in Syria and Iraq at the moment, things could change in the future.

‘My battle lies in Syria. But you never know, brother. The prophet said that Allah showed him the eastern and western parts of the world and that they should be united in a caliphate. So Denmark might get its turn soon,’ he said.

The news comes just days after Denmark stated it would contribute to the international campaign against IS in northern Iraq, with the EU nation saying it would deliver weapons and ammunition to Kurdish and Iraq government forces in the area.” Read more.

So much peaceful news coming out of the Islamic world today. Thank goodness it has nothing to do with the religion of “use-whatever-means-you-can-to-terrorize-them” Islam, otherwise we’d all have real cause for concern …

By Katie Zavadski, New York Mag – “A laptop purportedly belonging to an ISIS fighter was found by other rebels in Syria, and seems to show that its owner was gathering information to plan biological weapons attacks.

Abu Ali, a commander of a ‘moderate Syrian rebel group,’ showed the dusty Dell laptop — obtained after his men took over an ISIS building — to Foreign Policy. (What counts as a ‘moderate Syrian rebel group’ these days? Al Nusra?)

The laptop itself appeared to belong to a young Tunisian chemistry and physics student named Muhammed, whose course work was confirmed to FP by a Tunisian university he attended until 2011. He’s one of almost 2,500 Tunisians thought to have moved to Syria to join the ranks of ISIS.

On it, Foreign Policy‘s reporters found documents in English, French, and Arabic, stowed away on a non-password-protected hard drive. In addition to the usual videos, bomb-making instruction manuals, and such, the laptop contained an unexpected surprise:

The ISIS laptop contains a 19-page document in Arabic on how to develop biological weapons and how to weaponize the bubonic plague from infected animals.

“The advantage of biological weapons is that they do not cost a lot of money, while the human casualties can be huge,” the document states.

The document includes instructions for how to test the weaponized disease safely, before it is used in a terrorist attack. “When the microbe is injected in small mice, the symptoms of the disease should start to appear within 24 hours,” the document says.

The laptop also includes a 26-page fatwa, or Islamic ruling, on the usage of weapons of mass destruction.

Well, that’s no good, and the writers believe ‘the longer the caliphate exists, the more likely it is that members with a science background will come up with something horrible.’ (ISIS does control whole cities with laboratories now, after all.)” Read more.

Flashback: Terrorists Seize Nuclear Materials, Chemical Weapons Facilities In Iraq – “Jihadi insurgents rampaging across Iraq have seized nuclear materials used for scientific research from a university in the country’s north. Iraq sent an urgent letter to the United Nations appealing for help to ‘stave off the threat of their use by terrorists in Iraq or abroad.’ Nearly 88 pounds of uranium compounds were kept at Mosul University, Iraq’s UN ambassador told UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in the letter ­obtained on Wednesday. ‘Terrorist groups have seized control of nuclear material at the sites that came out of the control of the state,” Mohamed Ali Alhakim wrote, adding that such materials “can be used in manufacturing weapons of mass destruction.'” Read more.

Not surprising. The “prophet” of Islam himself, under the false impression that Rome somehow referred to all of Christendom, promised that Rome would one day be conquered by Muslims. As such, in the eyes of ISIS, the Pope is “the greatest exponent of the Christian religions.” The god of Islam evidently had no idea that other Christian denominations would one day exist outside of Catholicism …

CBS News – “A new report claims that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria is targeting Pope Francis — a report that the Vatican says is simply not true.

According to Il Tempo, Israeli sources reportedly told the Italian newspaper that the pope is ‘in the crosshairs of ISIS.’ The report stated that Francis is being targeted because he is ‘the greatest exponent of the Christian religions’ and the ‘bearer of false truth.’

The Vatican, though, denounced the report.

‘There is nothing serious to this,’ Father Federico Lombardi S.J., a Vatican spokesman, told Catholic News Agency. ‘There is no particular concern in the Vatican. This news has no foundation.’

The Catholic News Agency reports that Italy has issued a nationwide terror alert, despite no imminent threats or specifics about a potential attack on the country.

On Friday, Britain raised the terror threat level from substantial to severe, meaning that a terrorist attack is considered highly likely.” Read more.

By Nicholas Cecil, London Evening Standard – “Britain’s terror threat level was dramatically raised to severe today amid fears that UK jihadists returning from Iraq and Syria could launch attacks.

The severe warning means an attack is ‘highly likely’, rather than the earlier assessment of substantial where a terror strike is ‘a strong possibility’. Home Secretary Theresa May stressed there was no intelligence to suggest an imminent attack.

After the decision by Britain’s Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre, she added: ‘The increase in the threat level is related to developments in Syria and Iraq, where terrorist groups are planning attacks against the West.

‘Some of those plots are likely to involve foreign fighters who have travelled there from the UK and Europe to take part in those conflicts. We face a real and serious threat in the UK from international terrorism. I urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.’

Scotland Yard Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe warned days ago that close to 200 potentially ‘militarised’ fighters are back in London. He also proposed UK jihadists have their passports revoked to stop them returning here.

Islamic State have slaughtered thousands as they seized control of swathes of Syria and Iraq. They also beheaded US journalist James Foley, 40, in revenge for US air strikes in Iraq to stop the killings. Mr Foley and other hostages were guarded by a group of British jihadists, known as ‘The Beatles’, with one — ‘John’— featuring in the video of his killing.” Source – London Evening Standard.

U.S. Officials Say ‘Significant Increase’ In Jihadi Chatter Ahead Of 9/11 Anniversary – “U.S. intelligence has picked up increased chatter among Islamist terror networks approaching the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and amid the continuing battle for supremacy between Al Qaeda and the Islamic State, current and former U.S. officials told TheBlaze. ‘We’ve noticed a significant increase in chatter among Islamic terrorist organizations overseas both on the Internet and phone lines,’ said a U.S. government official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak on the matter. ‘This is certainly concerning’ … Adding to the concern, however, is Al Qaeda’s competition for dominance over the Islamic State, after the two terror groups had a falling out of sorts earlier this year. ‘Core’ Al Qaeda is led by Ayman al-Zawahri, who is fighting to maintain leadership with Muslim followers from his base in Pakistan.” Read more.

According to the article below, “many Muslim nations are looking at the extreme violence, beheading, crucifixions, etc., of the terrorist organization and realizing it is giving Islam a bad name.” But, if we dig a little deeper, what is giving Islam a “bad name” is not simply what ISIS is doing. It’s what Islam is teaching. According to the Qur’an, a true Muslim is one who pursues, fights against, strives against, is ruthless against, sieges, slays, beheads, strikes fear into the hearts of, and terrorizes non-Muslims in order to be victorious over them by either converting them to Islam or, if they refuse, destroying them. Even the “prophet” of Islam himself — who the Qur’an calls an “excellent example to follow” in Sura 33:21 — said that he was made “victorious with terror” (Hadith, Bukhari 2977). As such, if ISIS is not representing true Islam, then who today is most accurately representing Islam as it is taught in the Qur’an? On the grounds of the Qur’an itself, the “Islamic State” is not violating Islamic teachings. It is upholding them. And this is why Islam has never seen, nor will it ever know, true and lasting peace with non-Muslims — because if the Qur’an is any indication, true and lasting peace is, well, un-Islamic …

Daniel 7:7, “… a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it …”

The Lid – “ISIS is different from other terrorists in two main ways. First it is unprecedented in its level of violence. We are talking about a terrorist organization whose leaders were thrown out of al Qaeda for being too violent. That is a special kind of crazy. But just as important is the fact that ISIS is a more of a single operation, unlike al Qaeda, which had a core group surrounded by many “franchise” terrorist groups, ISIS is a single entity. And as a single entity the “Islamic State” or whatever they are calling themselves today has been able to develop a self-sustaining economy that among other things makes it the richest terrorist group ever and able to fund a lot more evil than other terrorists.

As you can see by the chart above, ISIS has taken over large swaths of both Iraq and Syria, and closing in on Jordan, Turkey, and Lebanon and everywhere it goes it raises money through extortion, oil pirating and kidnapping. This is significant because one of the ways free nations fight terrorists is cutting off the money, since ISIS has its own money that strategy would be a much more difficult task.

Today’s Wall Street Journal outlines the emerging financial empire being built by the vicious terrorist group that is building a self-sustaining economy across the territory it controls in Syria and Iraq, by  pirating oil and exacting tribute from a native population of at least eight million people…

The ISIS economy has come just in time as many Muslim nations are looking at the extreme violence, beheading, crucifixions, etc., of the terrorist organization and realizing it is giving Islam a bad name.  Surprisingly these same countries said nothing (and still say nothing) about groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and al Qaeda.

Despite what the Obama administration says in public, ISIS which is extremist even for extremists and has its own source of cash, is an existential threat to the United States and the Western World.” Read more.
