Proverbs 12:15a, “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes …”
Joels Trumpet – “First, WND reports on comments made by Rush Limbaugh Tuesday on his radio program, in which he claims to have heard personally from several insiders who are relaying to him the mounting evidence that indeed the Assad regime was framed. Further, another article written by the highly respected and credentialed Israeli-American scholar, Youssef Bodansky calls into question not only the American government’s story regarding the Syrian crisis, but also the complicity of the American government in the whole affair. According to Bodansky, there is mounting evidence that the release of nerve gas in Damascus was a well-coordianed event potentially involving Qatar, Turkey, the US, and Jabhat al-Nusra (the al-Qaeda affiliated terrorists or ‘rebels’), all of whom want to see the removal of the Assad regime. This information if true, is beyond damning of the Obama administration.
And once again, I would like to call everyone’s attention to the repeated, though very poorly reasoned view (that that seems to be dominating the discussion in the Western media), that if Assad did indeed use gas, the US must by respond militarily. I find this claim to be extremely poorly reasoned on moral and military terms. I am grateful for the few voices such as Sarah Palin who do seem to have thought through the ramifications of any military action in Syria. Palin, on Friday spoke out and strongly condemned the Obama admin for its poorly reasoned defense of engaging the Syrian government. Palin’s comments can be read in their entirety here:

Libya: The Land Of Lawlessness And Ruin
What else can be expected when the “man of lawlessness” makes a stand? …
Matthew 13:41-42, “The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.”
Ezekiel 30:3-5, “For the day is near, Even the day of the LORD is near; It will be a day of clouds, A time of doom for the nations. A sword will come upon Egypt, And anguish will be in Ethiopia; When the slain fall in Egypt, They take away her wealth, And her foundations are torn down. Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all Arabia, Libya and the people of the land that is in league will fall with them by the sword.”
By PATRICK COCKBURN, The Independent – “A little under two years ago, Philip Hammond, the Defence Secretary, urged British businessmen to begin ‘packing their suitcases’ and to fly to Libya to share in the reconstruction of the country and exploit an anticipated boom in natural resources.
Yet now Libya has almost entirely stopped producing oil as the government loses control of much of the country to militia fighters.
Mutinying security men have taken over oil ports on the Mediterranean and are seeking to sell crude oil on the black market. Ali Zeidan, Libya’s Prime Minister, has threatened to ‘bomb from the air and the sea’ any oil tanker trying to pick up the illicit oil from the oil terminal guards, who are mostly former rebels who overthrew Muammar Gaddafi and have been on strike over low pay and alleged government corruption since July.
As world attention focused on the coup in Egypt and the poison gas attack in Syria over the past two months, Libya has plunged unnoticed into its worst political and economic crisis since the defeat of Gaddafi two years ago. Government authority is disintegrating in all parts of the country putting in doubt claims by American, British and French politicians that Nato’s military action in Libya in 2011 was an outstanding example of a successful foreign military intervention which should be repeated in Syria.
In an escalating crisis little regarded hitherto outside the oil markets, output of Libya’s prized high-quality crude oil has plunged from 1.4 million barrels a day earlier this year to just 160,000 barrels a day now. Despite threats to use military force to retake the oil ports, the government in Tripoli has been unable to move effectively against striking guards and mutinous military units that are linked to secessionist forces in the east of the country.
Libyans are increasingly at the mercy of militias which act outside the law. Popular protests against militiamen have been met with gunfire; 31 demonstrators were shot dead and many others wounded as they protested outside the barracks of ‘the Libyan Shield Brigade’ in the eastern capital Benghazi in June.
Though the Nato intervention against Gaddafi was justified as a humanitarian response to the threat that Gaddafi’s tanks would slaughter dissidents in Benghazi, the international community has ignored the escalating violence. The foreign media, which once filled the hotels of Benghazi and Tripoli, have likewise paid little attention to the near collapse of the central government.
The strikers in the eastern region Cyrenaica, which contains most of Libya’s oil, are part of a broader movement seeking more autonomy and blaming the government for spending oil revenues in the west of the country. Foreigners have mostly fled Benghazi since the American ambassador, Chris Stevens, was murdered in the US consulate by jihadi militiamen last September. Violence has worsened since then with Libya’s military prosecutor Colonel Yussef Ali al-Asseifar, in charge of investigating assassinations of politicians, soldiers and journalists, himself assassinated by a bomb in his car on 29 August.” Read more.

Egypt: Judicial Panel OKs Dissolusion Of Muslim Brotherhood, 11 Members Sentenced To Life In Prison
Although the Muslim Brotherhood has appeared to have suffered a mortal head wound in Egypt, it is far from dead. We may even be witnessing a microcosm of a much larger Beast that continues to rejuvenate in the wake of the “Arab Spring” …
Revelation 13:1-3, “Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like [the feet of] a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast…”

UPI – “The Investment Department, attached to the State Council’s Administrative Court, Tuesday stopped the broadcasting four news channels in Egypt.
Social Justice Party leader Mahmoud Farghaly Omran sued to get the shutdown of al-Jazeera Mubasher Misr, Yarmuk, al-Qods and Ahrar 25, charging the stations didn’t have current licenses and were airing false reports that confused Egyptians, the Egyptian news agency MENA reported.
Opponents of the Muslim Brotherhood and deposed President Mohamed Morsi have accused al-Jazeera Mubasher Misr, a Qatari channel, of provoking internal tensions and broadcasting material supportive of the Brotherhood and Morsi since he took office last year and after his ouster in July.
Meanwhile, an Egyptian judicial panel recommended the Muslim Brotherhood be dissolved, and regime security forces arrested another leading figure of the Islamist group.
The judicial panel, which advises the government on legal issues, said the Sunni Islamist religious, political and social movement operated outside the law because it formed illegal paramilitary groups and should therefore be dissolved as a non-governmental organization.
The judges, on the State Commissioners Authority, also advised the Brotherhood’s Cairo headquarters be closed.” Read more.

Liberty NEWS TV: The Top Ten Reasons For Obama To Attack Syria (Video)
Here are ten tongue-in-cheek reasons why Obama needs to bomb the purported bombers of Syria, some which may be much closer to the truth than many on the left are willing to admit …
Religion Of Peace’s Al-Qaeda Calls Peaceful Methods Futile, Urges Egyptians To Engage In Terror
It’s as if the “prophet” Mohammed himself were speaking …
The “Prophet” Mohammed, Al Bukhari Hadith 2977, “I have been made victorious with terror.”
Qur’an: Sura 4:89, ”They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies … seize them and kill them wherever you find them …”
By Ali Abdelaty, Sami Aboudi and Louise Ireland, Reuters – “One of al Qaeda’s most militant affiliates has called on Egyptians to take up arms against their army, saying a bloody crackdown on Islamist protesters showed peaceful methods were futile, according to an Internet statement posted on Saturday.
Scores of Egyptian security forces have been killed in a series of attacks by suspected Islamist militants – mostly in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula – since Islamist President Mohamed Mursi was deposed last month.
Mursi’s Muslim Brotherhood renounced violence decades ago and denies any links with militants, including those in Sinai who have gained strength since President Hosni Mubarak was forced to step down in 2011.
‘There is nothing more right in [Allah’s] religion (Islam) than those who speak of the infidelity, reneging on Islam and abandonment of religion, and call for the necessity to fight these armies, foremost of which is the Egyptian army,’ said Abu Mohammed al-Adnani, spokesman for the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), according to the Arabic recording.
‘The Egyptian army is part and a mere copy of these armies which are seeking in a deadly effort to prevent [Allah’s] laws from being adopted and trying hard to consecrate the principles of secularism and man-made laws,’he said.” Read more.

Egypt: Despite Losing Churches, Homes And Businesses, Christians Refuse To React To Islamist Provocations
Islam may be called the “Religion of Peace”, but it is Christianity that is epitomizing what a peaceful religion should truly be …
Matthew 5:9-12a, “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven …”
Michael Adel, Al Ahram – “When columns of smoke billowed from the domes of Egyptian churches during the disturbances following the dispersal of the sit-ins in Cairo’s Rabaa Al-Adaweya and Nahda Square, the country’s Copts did the apparently unthinkable: nothing.
‘Churches are not just bricks and mortar. They are in our hearts,’ tweets and postings by Copts on social media read, contrasting with the anger that they must nevertheless have felt.
Their inaction was a political statement, as well as a moral one. It was in line with what the late Pope Shenouda III used to say, that ‘Egypt is not a country in which we live, but a country that lives inside us.’
The recent attacks on dozens of churches across the country were unprecedented in their brutality, and they will stand as a lasting indictment of the Muslim Brotherhood and its allies.
The attacks were worst in the villages and towns of Upper Egypt, yet Church officials spoken to by Al-Ahram Weekly had few criticisms to make of the army or the police.
Anba Raphael, secretary of the Church’s Synod, said that the attacks on the churches and the Copts were to be expected since the Brotherhood had come to power in Egypt. The Brotherhood had refused to listen, had acted fanatically, and in the end had lost all credibility, he said.
Anba Morqos, bishop of Shobra Al-Kheima, denounced the attacks on the churches. ‘What happened has nothing to do with Islam and everything to do with terror,’ he said. [Comment ICA: A “politically correct” statement to make in a nation hostile to Christians, but also very inaccurate.]
Churches were completely burned down in Minya and Sohag in Upper Egypt, while others were partially destroyed by fire. ‘Why would anyone burn down places of worship, in which people pray for Egypt to have peace and security,’ Anba Morqos asked, adding that fortunately there had been no fatalities.
Anba Makarios, the orthodox bishop of Minya, said that no one had accused any government agency of involvement in the attacks on Coptic churches and property, voicing the hope that there would be an ‘increased presence of the security forces’ in the future.
‘We strongly reject any attempt to involve the Church in the quarrels some are having with the security agencies, and we fully appreciate the efforts the Ministry of the Interior is making to enforce law and order,’ Anba Makarios added.
Anba Bakhum, the bishop of Sohag, said that Brotherhood supporters had burned down a social services building at the Mar Girgis Church, having looted its contents. They had also assaulted priests in the church and set fire to a dormitory for women.
‘I cannot leave the bishopric where I live because of the clashes. Several cars belonging to monks have been torched. Three churches have been set on fire. We found liquefied gas bottles inside the church, some of which exploded,’ Anba Bakhum said.
Copts had refused to retaliate in order to avert sectarian strife, he said.
Anba Kyrollos, bishop of Naga Hammadi, voiced his surprise at the scale of the attacks on the churches. ‘There has been a vindictiveness expressed by the fanatical groups against the Copts, just because they are Egyptians who spoke their minds freely and democratically,’ he said.” Read more.
Iran Promises ‘Thousands Of Missiles’ Will Rain Down Upon Israel If Syria Is Attacked
According to the Islamic Republic, any attack on Syria will be considered an attack on Iran …
Update: Israel is now calling up reservists due to threats from Syria and Iran …
By Reza Kahlili, WND – “Iran is threatening to launch a massive missile strike against Israel if the United States attacks Syria for using chemical weapons against its own people, which could touch off a full-blown war in the region.
‘The day of reckoning is near,’ according to Hossein Shariatmadari, the chief editor of Keyhan newspaper, an outlet controlled by Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
An Op-Ed penned by Shariatmadari Tuesday warned that the impending confrontation between the West and Syria would ‘provide the long-awaited opportunity for revenge against Israel and America.’
The editor recalled the U.S.-led attack on Baghdad on March 20, 2003, and President George W. Bush’s boast to reporters seven days later that the ‘Iraq war is over.’ But when the last U.S. soldiers were leaving Iraq in December 2011, nearly 4,500 Americans had been killed and the war had cost America trillions of dollars.
Shariatmadari said that Washington, instead of open war against Syria, has been waging a proxy war against the Assad regime with the help of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt. He said now it is ready to directly confront Syria militarily, one of the members of the Resistance Front along with Iran and Lebanon’s Hezbollah. However, despite Syrian rebels receiving financial and military support from those Middle East countries, not only has the Assad regime not been overthrown but it has opened a ‘new chapter for the Resistance where it formed the forces of ‘defense of Homeland,’ a force similar to the Basij militias (in Iran).’
Iran has long drawn a red line around the Assad regime. And Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon, Israel’s neighbor, are armed with thousands of missiles. The three members of the Resistance Front have a joint war room.
‘Because of the failure of the intended proxy war, America and some Arab and European countries are preparing to attack Syria on the false claims that the Assad regime has used chemical weapons,’ the editor said. ‘However, America can certainly start the war but it won’t be the one to end it.’
Shariatmadari said that Israel is the ‘Achilles’ heel of America and its European allies and without a doubt with the start of an attack on Syria, thousands of missiles will rain down all over the occupied lands (Israel), which will destroy its critical facilities as it was obvious that its missile defense system (the Iron Dome) could not prevent missiles reaching Tel Aviv.’
He also warned Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Turkey and others who support attacking Syria that they themselves will come under attack from Syria.
‘Muslims should welcome the news of an attack on Syria as it will provide the long-awaited opportunity for revenge, which should destroy the enemies of Islam,’ Shariatmadari concluded.

Syrian Official: If Damascus Is Attacked, Israel Will Be Set On Fire
The future of Israel is already known. So is the future of Damascus …
Isaiah 17:1, “The burden against Damascus. ‘Behold, Damascus will cease from [being] a city, And it will be a ruinous heap.’”
By Elad Benari, INN – “A senior official in the Syrian army warned the United States and its partners on Tuesday that waging a full-scale war on Syria would be reciprocated with an immediate attack on Tel Aviv.
‘If Damascus comes under attack, Tel Aviv will be targeted too and a full-scale war against Syria will actually issue a license for attacking Israel,’ the Syrian army source told the Iranian Fars news agency.
‘Rest assured that if Syria is attacked, Israel will also be set on fire and such an attack will, in turn, engage Syria’s neighbors,’ he added.
The source also warned the U.S. and other Western states that if Syria grows weak, certain irresponsible groups will be formed which will endanger Israel’s security.
‘Therefore, weakening the central government in Damascus will actually start growing attacks on Israel and will create insecurity for that regime,’ he claimed.
‘Thus, a U.S. attack on Syria will herald frequent strikes and attacks on Israel, not just by Damascus and its allies in retaliation, but by extremist groups who will find a ground for staging their aspirations,’ he concluded.” Read more.

The newspaper said the chief of military intelligence in the Israeli army, Major-General Aviv Kochavi has relayed the Israeli position during his visit to the United Nations headquarters in New York a few weeks ago. According to a French diplomat Kochavi warned that the Syrian arsenal of weapons will be directed at Israel if the regime of Bashar al-Assad falls.” Read more.

Flashback: ‘Expect Bigger Surprises’: Iran Arms Hezbollah With Chemical Weapons – “As the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas faction is escalating and rockets are hitting Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Iran announced Friday that its missiles were being used against the Jewish state. Rockets hit Tel Aviv Thursday for the first time since the 1991 Persian Gulf War when Iraqi scuds threatened the city. On Friday, Jerusalem also came under rocket fire from Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip. According to a source in the Revolutionary Guards intelligence division, Iran has large stockpiles of chemical and microbial weapons and it has armed the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah with them. It also has Quds Forces in Gaza and other Palestinian territories to help Hamas and Islamic Jihad in setting up underground rocket facilities while training and supervising the Palestinians in launching attacks on Israel.” Read more.
Funky Fatwa: Islamist Rebels In Syria Forbid Killing ‘Believer Lice’ Growing In ‘Blessed’ Muslim Beards
It’s ok to rape the women but, for the sake of “Allah”, please be nice to the lice …
ABNA – “Thanks to [Allah] and prayers and greetings to our master Muhammad and his family and companions …
The Sharia Authority in Aleppo has prohibited the killing of lice that appears in the Muslim beard, as some of the Muslim brothers who have released [grown] their beards in accordance with prophet Muhammad PBuH Sunnah [prophet’s doctrine], blessed lice has appeared in their beards, and that’s because of their lack of bathing due to the water non-availability all the time on the Jihad [holy war] fronts, and they have limited to ablution before their prayers (may [Allah] accept it), thus their beards became moist and thick, which made of it (in [Allah’s] will) a natural place for lice to live in.
The Sharia Authority in Aleppo recommends the Mujahideen [holy fighters] brothers to dye their beards with Henna, like our prophet Muhammad PBuH, the thing that would reduce the itching caused by the lice, and to maintain this lice that would have not appeared in those blessed beards, if it was not from [Allah’s] Muslim believing creatures.
Who disobeys this Sharia fatwa [advisory opinion] which has been confirmed right by a number of the senior scholars in Aleppo, will be punished with 50 lashes by Sharia, and other measures will be taken against him in the Shaira Court in Aleppo.
And [Allah] was behind our intent.” Read more.

Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood Supporters Behead Taxi Driver In Alexandria … For Being A Christian
For peaceful purposes …

AsiaNews – “Speaking to AsiaNews, sources, anonymous for security reasons, relayed some of the more tragic stories involving anti-Christian attacks unleashed by the Muslim Brotherhood starting on 14 August, including the story of a taxi driver who was beheaded in Alexandria for being a Christian; those of policemen mercilessly killed, their bodies publicly defiled in Kerdasa (Giza); or the fate of entire villages devastated and left without food in Minya Governatorate. In such incidents, dozens of people were killed, at least 58 churches were destroyed, and 162 homes and shops were wrecked. Hovering over all this is the daily threat of more attacks and kidnappings.
According to sources, the recent arrest of Muslim Brotherhood leaders has unleashed the violence of their followers many times over. The latter no longer just attack and harass their victims but deliberately and in a premeditated way kill them.
On 21 August, a militia group associated with the Brotherhood laid siege to a local police station in Kerdasa (Giza). When the terrorists stormed the building, they showered the agents with a hail of bullets, petrol bombs and rockets. To terrorise local residents, they dragged the bodies of the dead officers into the street and urinated on them, shouting ‘Islam, Islam.’
In Minya Governorate (Upper Egypt) and other parts of the country, sources describe an atmosphere of fear and tensions that has lasted for weeks with Copts, Catholics and Protestants living amid constant threats and threats of attacks. In view of the situation, many families have turned their homes into fortresses; others have simply abandoned their villages.
Yesterday, at Saft el-Laban (Minya) a group of Islamic extremists again attacked Coptic homes and shops, spreading terror in the population…
One attack involved taxi driver Rafaat Aziz Mina, who was slaughtered in an Alexandria street just because he was Christian. In his early twenties, he was killed on 16 August by a mob of Islamists who took to the streets after news reached them about the military’s action against their camps in Cairo.” Read more.

Ayad said he was beaten for hours with sticks before being left for dead on a roadside.” Read more.
‘I Have Seen The Real Meaning Of Hate’: Christians In Arab World Facing Unprecented Reprisals, Uncertain Fate
Matthew 24:22,27, “And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened… For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
The Lakeshore – “As Egypt plunges into unrest amid the military-backed government’s crackdown on demonstrators, the country’s Christian minority has been targeted by Islamic extremists.
Dozens of churches have been burned, ransacked and looted since the government began fighting against supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood and ousted President Mohammed Morsi two weeks ago.
Video posted on YouTube shows the streets of the city of Minya, 190 miles south of Cairo, by night, an orange glow in the sky. The video shows flames bursting from the arched windows of a Coptic Christian church. Young men toss wooden boards and rocks at the facade.
Activists and human rights groups say this scene has played out dozens of times around the country, where Christians make up approximately 10 percent of the population…
‘Burning our churches, killing our brothers and sisters and looting our shops and our stores,’ says Mina Thabet, an engineer and activist with the Coptic Christian group Maspero Youth Union, tells Jacki Lyden, host of weekends on All Things Considered, from Cairo. ‘I have seen the real meaning of hate.’
That hate, he says, has come from the Muslim Brotherhood and extremist Islamic groups…
The experience of Christians in Egypt is not unique to that country. Christians make up small but significant minorities in several countries in the region…” Read more.
Egypt’s Christians Face Unprecedented Reprisals From Muslim Brotherhood – “Islamist mobs have torched schools and businesses owned by Christians, looted churches and even paraded captive nuns through the streets of a city south of Cairo in a display of rage unseen in Egypt’s recent history. The campaign of killing and arson is retaliation for the tiny Christian community’s support of the military coup that ousted President Mohammed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood government. ‘The Muslim Brotherhood were the ones who called for aggression [against Christians]. They are responsible,’ said the Rev. Khalil Fawzi, a pastor at Kasr El Dubarrah Evangelical Church, the largest evangelical congregation in the Middle East. ‘Either they are in control or they burn Egypt.’ Since the military removed Mr. Morsi seven weeks ago, his supporters have burned at least 44 churches and ransacked more than 20 other Christian institutions throughout Egypt.“Read more.
