By Gil Ronen, INN – “A direct strike on a home in Sderot was reported after 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening, as Gaza terrorists continued to fire a barrage of missiles at Israeli civilian men, women and children.

Initial reports said no one was injured despite the direct hit.

Many of the rockets fired Sunday were timed for the end of the school day, in order to try and kill or maim children. More than 100 rockets were fired during the day.

A Be’er Sheva resident named Barbara told Arutz Sheva: ‘They timed the attack at just the time all the kids got out of school…mine too!! First time I was ever close to hysterical was today.’

‘This has to stop,’ said Gershon, another resident of ‘the capital of the Negev.’

‘The rocket attack was at 13:58,’ he said, ‘when all the kids were walking home from school and I was on my way to pick up my daughter. The whole city should keep their children home until the rocket attacks stop.'” Source – INN.

By Yanir Yagna, Gili Cohen and Haaretz – “Egyptian intelligence officials have been mediating between Israel and Hamas in order to reach a cease-fire agreement that would put an end to the two-day cross-border escalation.

More than 100 rockets have hit southern Israel since violence flared up on the border on Saturday. The IDF has responded with nine separate air strikes, killing five Palestinians.

So far, no time has been set for the commencement of the cease-fire, but Haaretz has learned that both sides have said quiet will be answered with quiet.

Three people were lightly wounded in the Gaza envelope area on Sunday morning, when rockets exploded in the city of Sderot and in the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council. Gaza militants continued to fire missiles into the evening on Sunday, both in Sha’ar Hanegev and in Eshkol Regional Council.

On Sunday evening, a rocket hit a house in Sderot, causing damage but no casualties. Some people suffered from shock after the incident.

The Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted two rockets, one aimed at Be’er Sheva on Sunday, and one fired toward the Ashdod area the previous day.

Several buildings in the Sha’ar Hanegev Council were damaged in the barrage. A factory in the industrial zone of Sderot sustained a direct hit.

The Israel Defense Forces responded to the barrage of rocket fire with nine separate air strikes on the Gaza Strip, including one on Sunday morning. Five Palestinians were killed in the strikes.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said on Sunday that if more broad action was needed in response to the attack, Israel would act.

Earlier Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the IDF will respond aggressively to any attacks carried out by Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip.

‘The world needs to understand that Israel will not sit with arms crossed when faced by attempts to hurt us,’ Netanyahu told ministers at the weekly cabinet meeting, after more than 40 rockets struck Israel over the course of Sunday morning. ‘We are prepared to intensify our response.'” Read more.

The demographics are changing. It’s not a traditional America anymore. And there are 50 percent of the voting public who want stuff. They want things. And who is going to give them things? President Obama. He knows it. And he ran on it.

With much of the population being pacified and babied, their apathy for the Middle East will be the cause of the swelling and spread of Islamic fundamentalism, because they’d rather have a welfare state then a more secure world.

Obama’s re-election has caused a major boost in confidence for countries like Britain and France in their wanting to topple Assad. But, it has also given confidence to Turkey, in its desire to oust Assad. The overall goal of the Turks, of course, is to conquer Syria, in order to revive the Ottoman empire.

A little while back, I reported on the Turkish plan to revive the Ottoman empire, and that Syria will be a primary target for Turkey’s expansion of its universal empire. Syrian Ambassador to Tehran Hamed al-Hassan, had this to say:

Turkey is trying to reconstruct the Ottoman Empire in the region … When Turkey’s Justice and Development Party won the Turkish parliamentary elections, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented his party’s victory to the people of Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Central Asia, and the Balkans which were once parts of the Ottoman Empire.

Now with Obama re-elected, the Turks, England and France, will be pushing the U.S. more than ever to push for the ousting of Assad, with the help of NATO forces. That this is Obama’s second term makes this situation even more dangerous, because the president now has nothing to lose, since he does not have to worry about campaigning for a subsequent victory. His actions can be reckless, since he does not have to worry about getting re-elected.

Expect to see Obama’s actions in the Middle East to be reckless — and the cause of chaos. We must expect to see the rise of Turkey following the future fall of Assad thanks to the U.S., Western allies, and NATO. With Assad gone, Turkey will then gradually take power over Syria.” Read more.

By John Glaser – “Gen. Mustafa al-Sheikh, the leader of the Free Syrian Army, warned that if outside powers don’t quickly back the rebel fighters trying to overthrow the regime of President Bashar al-Assad, the rebels might all turn into terrorists instead.

‘If there’s no quick decision to support us, we will all turn into terrorists,’ he said in an interview with the Daily Telegraph. ‘If you apply the pressure that’s been applied to Syria, it will explode in all directions. Terrorism will grow quickly.’

The US has been facilitating the delivery of weapons to the rebels from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, but has been reluctant to directly give the rebels any lethal aid. Part of the reason is that the so-called leadership of the FSA is hardly recognized by most of the fighters on the ground.

Notably, al-Sheikh’s warning is not very far from reality. US intelligence has recognized for some time now that the great bulk of the rebel fighters are jihadists, many having come from foreign countries, and some even fighting under the banner of al-Qaeda.

While issuing this warning, al-Sheikh is also trying to convince the West to more enthusiastically back the rebels. He claims he has established a command structure and published a manifesto giving lip-service for human rights.

But those efforts to appeal to the US for greater, and more lethal, arms support is ridiculous. Writing a manifesto about the FSA’s supposed commitment to human rights, while at the same time warning that they may just ‘turn into terrorists’ doesn’t exactly fit.

Beyond this, the rebels are known to have committed war crimes, including executing captured Assad-supporters.” Source – AntiWar.com.

By Soeren Kern, Gatestone Institute – “Two Muslim politicians, who just won municipal elections in Belgium’s capital, Brussels, on October 14, have vowed to implement Islamic Sharia law in Belgium.

The two candidates, Lhoucine Aït Jeddig and Redouane Ahrouch, both from the fledgling Islam Party, won seats in two heavily Islamized municipalities of Brussels, Molenbeek-Saint-Jean and Anderlecht, respectively.

During a post-election press conference in Brussels on October 25, the two future councilors, who will be officially sworn in on December 3, said they regard their election as key to the assertion of the Muslim community in Belgium.

‘We are elected Islamists but above all we are Muslims,’ Ahrouch said. ‘Islam is compatible with the laws of the Belgian people. As elected Muslims, we embrace the Koran and the tradition of the Prophet Mohammed. We believe Islam is a universal religion. Our presence on the town council will give us the opportunity to express ourselves,’ said Ahrouch, who refuses to shake hands or make eye contact with females in public.

A one-hour video of the press conference in French has been posted on YouTube. At one point in the video (0:07:40) Ahrouch, 42, says he will strive to make sure that the town council’s ‘motions and solutions are durable and definitive and will emanate from Islam.’

Ahrouch, who was sentenced to six months in prison in 2003 for the assault and battery of his disabled wife, also spends considerable time talking about ethics in politics and ‘respect for the other.’

Elsewhere in the video (0:25:40), Aït Jeddig, 50, commends Islam as having paved the way for ‘the emergence of European civilization.’ (He makes no mention of Europe’s Judeo-Christian or Greek-Roman roots.)” Read more.

Russia Today – “In an exclusive interview with RT, President Bashar Assad said that the conflict in Syria is not a civil war, but proxy terrorism by Syrians and foreign fighters. He also accused the Turkish PM of eyeing Syria with imperial ambitions.

Assad told RT that the West creates scapegoats as enemies – from communism, to Islam, to Saddam Hussein. He accused Western countries of aiming to turn him into their next enemy.

While mainstream media outlets generally report on the crisis as a battle between Assad and Syrian opposition groups, the president claims that his country has been infiltrated by numerous terrorist proxy groups fighting on behalf of other powers.

In the event of a foreign invasion of Syria, Assad warned, the fallout would be too dire for the world to bear…

RT: There are many people who were convinced a year ago that you would not make it this far. Here again you are sitting in a newly renovated presidential palace and recording this interview. Who exactly is your enemy at this point?

BA: My enemy is terrorism and instability in Syria. This is our enemy in Syria. It is not about the people, it is not about persons. The whole issue is not about me staying or leaving. It is about the country being safe or not. So, this is the enemy we have been fighting as Syria.

The other reason, he personally thinks that he is the new sultan of the Ottoman and he can control the region as it was during the Ottoman Empire under a new umbrella. AP – “Cairo – Al-Qaeda’s leader is urging Muslims to join militants in Somalia in the battle against African Union troops, which he says have been boosted by US support.

Ayman Al-Zawahri says Somalia’s al-Qaeda branch, al-Shabaab, should use guerrilla tactics and suicide bombings to wage jihad, or holy war.

Somalia had been in chaos for years, ruled by warlords and insurgents bent on creating an Islamic state.

The militants, who once controlled nearly all of Mogadishu, have been gone from the capital for more than a year, and in September the African troops booted them out of their last urban stronghold, the port city of Kismayo.

In his seven-minute audio message posted late on Tuesday on militant websites, al-Zawahri says the loss of Kismayo came after ‘clear, direct and flagrant support from the Americans.'” Source – News24.

Speaking to reporters in Bali, Indonesia, Ahmadinejad said, ‘The period and era of using nuclear weapons is over … Nuclear bombs are not anymore helpful and those who are stockpiling nuclear weapons, politically they are backward, and they are mentally retarded.’

He added, ‘The Iranian nation is not seeking an atomic bomb, nor do they need to build an atomic bomb … For defending ourselves we do not need a nuclear weapon.’

Ahmadinejad then said that representatives of any government or agency could visit the Islamic Republic to verify that it was not developing nuclear weapons.

Last week, the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Fereidoun Abbasi, said that Iran is completing its nuclear activities.

Asked about recent media reports on Iran’s new centrifuges in the Fordow uranium enrichment facility, Abbasi told reporters that Iran is completing its nuclear activities as scheduled ‘regardless of the negative western media speculations and reports.'” Read more.

Last week, Iranian warships were reportedly docked in Port Sudan to meet with Sudanese navy commanders. The fact that Turkey has already been installing new military technology in their planes and warships that will allow them to target Israel as an enemy, and knowing that Libya is well on its way to becoming a full fledged anti-Israel Islamist nation leads me to one conclusion: Preparations for the Gog of Magog battle are already in full swing …

By Gil Ronen, INN – “Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir appeared on television Thursday after a minor operation, calling Israel “enemy number one” in a return to his typical fiery rhetoric.

AFP said he was ‘tired but healthy-looking.’

Bashir, 68, spoke standing at a lectern for about 15 minutes in what government-owned Blue Nile TV said was a broadcast recorded earlier in the day at Sudan’s embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The president left hospital in the Saudi kingdom on Wednesday and was recovering there after a ‘successful small surgery,’ his second in less than four months. The operation followed a normal medical check connected to an infection in his vocal cords, official media reported.

‘Israel is our enemy, our number one enemy, and we will continue calling Israel our enemy,’ he said in a voice which sounded normal, according to AFP.

The comments were his first about Israel since Khartoum accused the Jewish state of sending four radar-evading aircraft to strike the Yarmouk military factory in the heart of Khartoum at midnight on October 23.” Read more.
