This is the worst terror attack in America since 9/11. Another true tragedy. As Christians, while we are called to shun what is sinful we are also called to love all people and to defend the faith of Jesus each day with gentleness and with respect, to never do evil against anyone whatsoever (1 Peter 3:15-17).  As the American government and the willingly ignorant continue to defend Islam and invite Muslims from around the world to live amongst us — to live with the very people the Qur’an tells them to hate — we are yet again being forced to bear witness to the reality of the teachings that Muslims are commanded to embrace, teachings that call upon good Muslims to defend the faith of Mohammed each day one dead Christian, one dead Jew, one dead infidel at a time …

FOX News – “A gunman who federal authorities say had possible ties to terrorism opened fire early Sunday morning in a packed Orlando nightclub, killing 50 people and wounding at least 53 more in a bloody scene that ended hours later when police stormed the building and killed the shooter.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer asked Gov. Rick Scott to declare a state of emergency following the attack.

The gunman was identified as Omar Mateen, Rep. Alan Grayson said during a Sunday morning press conference. Mateen was a U.S. citizen, Grayson said, though that was ‘not true of other family members of his.’ Mateen, 29, lived in Fort Pierce, Fla. He was born in the U.S. to parents of Afghan origin and was a Muslim, Fox News confirmed.

Authorities were going through Mateen’s belongings on Sunday morning trying to identify a motive for the attack, Grayson said.

‘More likely than not, that it was an ideologically motivated attack,’ Grayson said, though he said it was unclear if Mateen was linked to any terror groups.

‘It’s not coincidence the attack took place where it did and when it did,’ Grayson said.

Orlando Regional Medical Center called in six trauma surgeons, including a pediatric surgeon, as victims poured in, Dr. Michael Cheatham said. Many of the wounded were ‘critically ill’ due to their injuries, Cheatham said, and the hospital was trying to reach out to their families.

The shooting in Orlando at Pulse, which bills itself as ‘the hottest gay bar’ in the city and was packed with more than 300 people for ‘Latin Night,’ was reported minutes after 2 a.m. Sunday. In addition to those killed inside the club, at least 53 people were taken to area hospitals. Dozens of partygoers remained hostages in the club for several hours after the initial shooting, prompting SWAT teams to rush inside.” Read more.

Associated Press – “The Islamic State group has trained at least 400 fighters to target Europe in deadly waves of attacks, deploying interlocking terror cells like the ones that struck Brussels and Paris with orders to choose the time, place and method for maximum carnage, officials have told The Associated Press.

The network of agile and semiautonomous cells shows the reach of the extremist group in Europe even as it loses ground in Syria and Iraq. The officials, including European and Iraqi intelligence officials and a French lawmaker who follows the jihadi networks, described camps in Syria, Iraq and possibly the former Soviet bloc where attackers are trained to attack the West. Before being killed in a police raid, the ringleader of the Nov. 13 Paris attacks claimed he had entered Europe in a multinational group of 90 fighters, who scattered ‘more or less everywhere.’

But the biggest break yet in the Paris attacks investigation — the arrest on Friday of fugitive Salah Abdeslam— did not thwart the multipronged attack just four days later on the Belgian capital’s airport and metro that left 31 people dead and an estimated 270 wounded. Three suicide bombers also died.

Just as in Paris, Belgian authorities were searching for at least one fugitive in Tuesday’s attacks — this time for a man wearing a white jacket who was seen on airport security footage with the two suicide attackers. The fear is that the man, whose identity Belgian officials say is not known, will find Abdeslam’s path instructive.

After fleeing Paris immediately after the November attacks, Abdeslam forged a new network back in his childhood neighborhood of Molenbeek, long known as a haven for jihadis, and renewed plotting, according to Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders.

‘Not only did he drop out of sight, but he did so to organize another attack, with accomplices everywhere. With suicide belts. Two attacks organized just like in Paris. And his arrest, since they knew he was going to talk, it was a response: ‘So what if he was arrested? We’ll show you that it doesn’t change a thing,” said French Senator Nathalie Goulet, co-head of a commission tracking jihadi networks.

IndiaToday – “After claiming the responsibility of the attacks in Brussels that killed more than 30 people, ISIS has threatened to bring ‘dark days’ in the countries trying to bring down the militant organisation.

In a statement ISIS said a ‘secret cell of soldiers’ had launched the attack. The statement was published in Arabic and French, and an English translation was provided by the SITE Intelligence Group.

‘We vow to bring dark days to the crusader nations that have allied themselves against the Islamic State, in response to their aggression against our state,’ the statement read.

The terrorist organisation said, ‘what awaits you will be even harsher, even more bitter, by the permission of Allah’. It also released photos showing the fighters in Syria giving candies to children to celebrate the Brussels attacks, reports The Independent.

Belgium’s Interior Minister Jan Jambon revealed that authorities knew about some kind of an extremist act being prepared in Europe but were unaware and surprised by the scale of it.

During a house search in the Brussels neighborhood of Schaerbeek a nail bomb was found. Investigators also found chemical products and an Islamic State flag. The search began after a tip from the driver who claims to have ‘unwittingly dropped the bombers to the airport’.” Source – IndiaToday.

FoxNews – “As many as 31 people were killed and more than 180 injured as coordinated terrorist bombings rocked the Brussels airport and subway system during rush hour Tuesday morning in the Belgian capital.

Two bombings at Zaventem Airport, where 11 people were reportedly killed, and another at the metro station in the Maelbeek section near the European Union headquarters, where the mayor’s office said 20 were killed, were almost immediately confirmed as terrorism. The attack at the airport was reportedly accompanied by shouts in Arabic and gunfire, and an unexploded suicide belt was reportedly found in the aftermath.

‘What we feared has happened, we were hit by blind attacks,’ said Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel.

‘We are at war,’ French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said Tuesday. ‘We have been subjected for the last few months in Europe to acts of war.’

The attacks, which Belgian authorities said were suicide bombings, came four days after the main suspect in the November Paris attacks was arrested in Brussels, and even as Brussels was braced for new attacks.

Now they are, sacre bleu, dealing with jihadis and Islamic supremacists among the police and military. Who could possibly have foreseen such an improbability?

According to a confidential memo, dated January 2015, from the anti-terrorist unit of the French interior ministry, France is already host to 8,250 radical Islamists (a 50% increase in one year).

Some of these Islamists have gone to Syria to join the Islamic State (IS); others have infiltrated all levels of society, starting with the police and the armed forces.

A leaked confidential memo from the Department of Public Security, published by Le Parisien, details 17 cases of police officers radicalized between 2012 and 2015. Particularly noted were the police officers who listen to and broadcast Muslim chants while on patrol.

Some of these police officers have openly refused to protect synagogues or to observe a minute of silence to commemorate the deaths of victims of terrorist attacks.

In addition, the police were alerted to a policewoman who incited terrorism on Facebook, and called her police uniform a “filthy rag of the Republic” while wiping her hands on it. In January 2015, immediately after the attacks on Charlie Hebdo and the Hypercacher kosher supermarket in Vincennes, which had left 17 people dead, she wrote on her Facebook page: “Masked attack led by Zionist cowards… They need to be killed.”

That police officers are armed and have access to police databases only intensifies anxiety.

Although police headquarters in Paris claims that these cases are rare, they have decided to review on a weekly basis any behavior that oversteps the principle of separation of church and state, such as that of Muslim officers who appear to be leaning toward radicalization. Patrice Latron, who manages the office of the Paris police prefect, told Le Parisien that these phenomena are “very marginal.”

The police are not the only ones who are anxious; the French military is concerned as well. There are no statistics for the number of Muslim soldiers in the French armed forces, but it is commonly thought that there are many, and that they are vulnerable to Islamist influences, given that France in engaged militarily in Africa, against Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) and against the Islamic State in the Middle East. Since theCharlie Hebdo attack in January 2015, however, France’s largest military operation has been on national soil: 10,000 armed soldiers are now deployed in France to protect synagogues, Jewish schools, train and subway stations, and also some mosques — to show Muslims that the French Republic does not see them as enemies. Their mission is no longer to be simply a complementary force but, as Le Figaro explained, to “deploy, on a permanent basis, interior military operations.”

As early as 2013, during the fifth national security parliamentary conference, Colonel Pascal Rolez, adjunct to the assistant director of the counter-intervention unit of the Defense Security Protection Department (DPSD), declared, “We are witnessing an increase in radicalization among the French military, notably since the Merah affair.” Recall that Mohammed Merah, a young French Muslim, murdered three French soldiers in Toulouse and Montauban, as well as murdering four French Jews at a school in Toulouse.

CBC News – “A man accused of stabbing two members of Canada’s military at a recruiting centre in Toronto Monday shouted ‘Allah told me to do this, Allah told me to come here and kill people,’ according to Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders.

Police have laid charges, including one of attempted murder, against Ayanie Hassan Ali, a 27-year-old Canadian citizen.

‘It will take some time to have a complete picture,’ Saunders told reporters Tuesday from police headquarters.

When asked if it was a terror attack, the police chief said: ‘We’re certainly looking into it,’ but cautioned against jumping to any conclusions.

He noted it is too early to say if the accused was radicalized and urged the public against any anti-Islam sentiment in the wake of the attack.

‘I don’t want this categorizing a large group of people; that will be very unfair and very inaccurate,’ he said, adding he doesn’t want to see any of this ‘Islamophobia nonsense.’

Saunders said the man was carrying a ‘very large knife’ and was unresponsive after the incident. The chief appealed to the public for tips or information, saying the accused is not co-operating with police.

By Sam Prince, Heavy – “In a new video purportedly released by the Islamic State titled ‘Kill the Helpers of the Devil,’ captured Iraqi Army soldiers are mass executed by shooting, beheading, and forced suicide. The video was released on March 9, 2016 and comes from ‘Wilayat Dijlah’ or ‘State of Tigris,’ Iraq.

In the video, at least twelve Iraqi soldiers dressed in orange, ‘Guantanamo Bay’ boilersuits are interviewed by ISIS militants. The first set of men are taken to the countryside and forced to their knees, where ISIS militants murder them from behind.

Most alarmingly in the video is an Iraqi soldier who is forced to climb what appears to be some sort of metal tower while wearing a GoPro camera and carrying an Iraqi flag. When he gets to the top, he waves the Iraqi flag before jumping to his death while the head camera films.

After this gruesome footage, more Iraqi army soldiers are interviewed and then beheaded by ISIS militants.” Source – Heavy.
