No One Expects the Muslim Inquisition
By DANIEL GREENFIELD – “Monty Python may have surprised us with the Spanish Inquisition, but today there is hardly anyone who doesn’t expect the Muslim Inquisition. It is almost hard to imagine that there was a time not so long ago when it was possible to catch sight of Muslim terrorists in films and when it was permissible to crack jokes about Mohammed and the mountain.
Today a few strokes of a pen can put you on the run, not in Islambad or Ridyah, but as far away as Seattle. And the mere whisper of a mosque protest can put you in a jail cell for ‘breach of peace’. Peace being another way of saying Islam.
Ever since Mohammed couched his demand for surrender to the Byzantine Emperor with the words, ‘Aslim Taslam’– appeasing Muslims often comes gift wrapped as ‘peace’.” Read more.
Four Myths about the Crusades
By Paul F. Crawford – “In 2001, former president Bill Clinton delivered a speech at Georgetown University in which he discussed the West’s response to the recent terrorist attacks of September 11. The speech contained a short but significant reference to the crusades. Mr. Clinton observed that ‘when the Christian soldiers took Jerusalem [in 1099], they . . . proceeded to kill every woman and child who was Muslim on the Temple Mount.’ He cited the ‘contemporaneous descriptions of the event’ as describing ‘soldiers walking on the Temple Mount . . . with blood running up to their knees.’ This story, Mr. Clinton said emphatically, was ‘still being told today in the Middle East and we are still paying for it.’
This view of the crusades is not unusual. It pervades textbooks as well as popular literature. One otherwise generally reliable Western civilization textbook claims that ‘the Crusades fused three characteristic medieval impulses: piety, pugnacity, and greed. All three were essential.'(1) The film Kingdom of Heaven (2005) depicts crusaders as boorish bigots, the best of whom were torn between remorse for their excesses and lust to continue them. Even the historical supplements for role-playing games — drawing on supposedly more reliable sources — contain statements such as ‘The soldiers of the First Crusade appeared basically without warning, storming into the Holy Land with the avowed — literally — task of slaughtering unbelievers’;(2) ‘The Crusades were an early sort of imperialism’;(3) and ‘Confrontation with Islam gave birth to a period of religious fanaticism that spawned the terrible Inquisition and the religious wars that ravaged Europe during the Elizabethan era.'(4) The most famous semi-popular historian of the crusades, Sir Steven Runciman, ended his three volumes of magnificent prose with the judgment that the crusades were ‘nothing more than a long act of intolerance in the name of God, which is the sin against the Holy Ghost.'(5)
The verdict seems unanimous. From presidential speeches to role-playing games, the crusades are depicted as a deplorably violent episode in which thuggish Westerners trundled off, unprovoked, to murder and pillage peace-loving, sophisticated Muslims, laying down patterns of outrageous oppression that would be repeated throughout subsequent history. In many corners of the Western world today, this view is too commonplace and apparently obvious even to be challenged.
But unanimity is not a guarantee of accuracy. What everyone ‘knows’ about the crusades may not, in fact, be true. From the many popular notions about the crusades, let us pick four and see if they bear close examination.” Read more.

Egyptian Gas Pipeline to Israel Attacked and Blown Up By An ‘Unknown Armed Gang’
“A pipeline carrying gas from Egypt to Israel and Jordan has exploded after an attack by an armed gang in the north Sinai area of Egypt.
A tower of flames shot into the air and forced the pipeline to be shut down, Egyptian security officials say.
It is the second such attack in a month on the pipeline, south of the town of el-Arish, just 30 miles (50km) from the border with Israel.
On that occasion, when gunmen planted explosives, they failed to detonate.
‘An unknown armed gang attacked the gas pipeline,’ an unnamed security source told Reuters, adding that the flow of gas to Israel and Jordan had been hit.” Read more.

NBC’s Engel ‘Worried’ About ‘Ferociously Anti-Israel’ Arab Street and Concludes ‘This Thing Ends in Jerusalem’
NBC correspondent Richard Engel has a feeling that the Arab world is on a collision course with Israel that ‘ends in Jerusalem’ with a major war in a few years. Gee, ya think?
By Brad Wilmouth – “On Wednesday’s NBC Nightly News, chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel informed viewers that he is ‘worried’ that a major war between some of the Arab countries and Israel could be in the not too distant future because of the ‘ferociously anti-Israel’ sentiment of the ‘Arab street’ that is likely to gain power in countries like Egypt. He ended up concluding: ‘But I think, over time, this thing ends in Jerusalem.’
After host Brian Williams and Engel had discussed the likely prosecution of former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, and the disappointment of Libyan rebels at the level of assistance to their cause supplied by NATO, Williams posed the question: ‘You’re back here in New York for a few days. The question I’ve seen most people ask you: Where does this all end?’
Engel sounded more pessimistic than he did during the protests in Egypt from January and February. Engel:
This whole movement in the Middle East, and I’m worried about it because while people in the region deserve more rights and they want more rights and they’re embracing more of the will of the Arab street, well, the will of the Arab street is also ferociously anti-Israel, against Israel.” Read more.

Islam Is Fire
By Amil Imani – “The Islamic fire, fueled by immense oil income, is raging in certain regions of the world, smoldering in others, and is ready to ignite in yet other parts of the world. It is imperative for the free people of the world to abandon all illusions about Islam and put out its fire, once and for all.
Multiculturalism, live and-let live, is a delusion of kind-hearted naïve people. Islam, as fractured as it is, is a non-compromising monoculture; a cruel culture of a primitive people handed down by Muhammad some 1400 years ago…
Islam essentially invents the idea that Christians, Jews, and pagans are abominations and offensive to Allah, and that their very existence represents an attack upon the self-defined Islamic right to reign over the world. Allah thus enlists Muslim believers to eradicate by force those who offend him and by disbelieving, prevent his rule. True Muslim believers therefore become the enforcers, hit men and mercenaries for their god, in order to establish a global Caliphate for their parasitic clergy.” Read more.
Death Toll Reaches 500 in Nigeria After Muslim Loses Bid for Presidency
“Bomb blasts have killed at least three people in northeast Nigeria, police said Monday, in the latest unrest to hit Africa’s most populous nation after presidential elections and ahead of state governorship polls.
Police also said at least 15 were wounded, adding they suspected the Islamist sect known as Boko Haram was behind the attacks on Easter Sunday night at a hotel tavern and transport hub in Maiduguri, as well as a third one on Monday morning…
Boko Haram had distributed fliers earlier on Sunday warning of further attacks, saying ‘we are fighters waging jihad in Nigeria.’
‘We will never accept any system of governance apart from the one described by Islam because that is the only way Muslims can be liberated … We will continue to fight its military and police because they are not protecting Islam.'” Read more.
Muslims in Egypt Rename Holy Friday to ‘Bloody Friday’ for Christians
“Muslims in Abu Qurqas have marked their homes with the statement ‘There is no God but Allah’ and pictures of Ka’ba. This is in preparation for tomorrow’s planned attacks on the homes of all Coptic homes in Abu Qurqas, a day they deemed as ‘Bloody Friday’ This also coincides with Holy Friday for the Coptic Christians.
For several days, the Christians have been under attack although today after the Thursday liturgy there was an eerie calm. Although security forces have prohibited any filming of damages, the video associated with this article was taken without notice by authorities. While there is no violence today, eye witnesses say that there is a large gathering of Muslims in the Mosques in Abu Qurqas. The Copts are worried for tomorrow. Eye witnesses say there is a build up of Muslims from surrounding regions ready and armed for attacks tomorrow. Cars full of weapons have been spotted including one which was intercepted by security forces.” Read more…
Report: Obama Planning a Palestinian State with 1948 Borders, Divided Jerusalem
Zechariah 12:2-3, “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”
By Maayana Miskin – “United States President Barack Obama has created his own diplomatic plan for talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority to rival that of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, according to the New York Times.
Obama’s plan is reportedly based on principles including: the creation of a PA state in Judea and Samaria, with borders based on the 1948 armistice line, the split of Jerusalem, Israel’s capital city, the negation of the PA ‘right of return’ for descendants of Arabs who fled Israel in 1948, and a focus on Israel’s security needs…
Reports that Obama is concocting his own plan for the establishment of a new Arab state in Judea and Samaria angered land of Israel activists. ‘Nobody has the right to steal parts of the land of Israel,’ said Women for Israel’s Future in response.
‘Obama’s Middle East policy is creating waves of terrorism, and chaos. The ‘peace’ initiatives veil a deep enmity and the desire to see Israel fall,’ the group continued.” Read more.
Islamist Leader Threatens Jihad if Child Marriages are Banned
Weazel Zippers – “Notorious pro-Taliban Islamist clergy in Bangladesh, Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini has threatened to wage jihad in the country if the government will pass any law banning child marriage.
He said, two hundred thousand Jihadists of his group are ready to ‘sacrifice’ lives if any such law, which goes against ‘Koran and Sunnah’ will be passed by the current government in the country.
Mufti Amini said, ‘Banning child marriage will cause challenging the marriage of the holy prophet of Islam, who also married minor Ayesha, when she was just eight years old’.
He said, ‘The new law initiated by the current government will put the moral character of the prophet into controversy and challenge.’
Fazlul Haque Amini further said, ‘Islam permits child marriage and it will not be tolerated if any ruler will ever try to touch this issue in the name of giving more rights to women.'” Read more.
Terror Warning: Hezbollah to Attack Israelis Abroad
By Hanan Greenberg – “The defense establishment has recently obtained exact information regarding Hezbollah’s intention to carry out a terrorist attack at a destination that is frequented by Israelis abroad, in retaliation for the assassination of a senior official over three years ago.
Hezbollah blames Israel for taking out its chief of operations, Imad Mugniyah, in February 2008.
According to defense establishment sources, similar intelligence was uncovered in the past, and terrorist attacks were consequently thwarted in various locations outside of Israel. In this case it appears that Hezbollah is preparing to carry out an attack that cannot be traced back to the organization, in order to avoid triggering a confrontation on Israel’s northern border.” Read more.
