Daily Sabah – “Three hundred Iraqi soldiers died in a chlorine gas attack carried out by the self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) in the Iraqi city of Fallujah, said Ali al-Budairi, an Iraqi MP from the Shia-dominated National Iraqi alliance in the Iraqi Parliament on Monday.

It is unclear when the attacks took place. ISIS’s use of chlorine gas in attacks isn’t new. There are reports that the ISIS militants used chlorine-war gas before.

Speaking at a press conference in the Iraqi Parliament on Monday, Ali al-Budairi said: ‘ISIS killed 300 out of 400 soldiers they besieged in Saqlawiya district of northern Fallujah, using chlorine gas.’

Al-Budairi held Anbar’s operations chief Rashid Falih and new Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi responsible for failing to immediately send army backup to the district.

ISIS, which already controls parts of Syria, has extended its reach into Iraq since June 10.

Violence conducted by the ISIS militants has claimed more than 1,400 lives in Iraq, and caused 1.2 million Iraqis, including Turkmens, Arabs, Christians and Ezidis, to flee their homes.” Source – Daily Sabah.

Young militants are running wild to the chagrin of their more sophisticated and p.r.-savvy commanders, an Iraqi official told The Post.

The motivation of the rapists is twofold: They want to make ISIS babies — and they are just plain out for twisted thrills.

‘You have these young ISIS fighters carrying machine guns and they . . . want to have sex,’ the official said.

But their commanders, who are focused on their savage war, have ordered the young fighters to keep their zippers closed.

‘The ISIS commanders take a more official position,’ the source said. ‘They don’t want them to mess around with the women. They only want them to fight.’

The young rebels, however, aren’t listening to their commanders; they claim that they’re answering to a higher calling.

‘The fighters say that they’ve been ordered to have sex by a cleric in Saudi Arabia,’ the Iraqi official said. ‘It’s really just an excuse.’

Each rapist’s goal is to impregnate multiple women and breed children within their villages and towns, he said, adding, ‘They want to intertwine themselves within the communities.

CBC News – “In an audio recording distributed widely on social media Sunday, Islamic extremist group ISIS urged attacks on civilians in member countries of the U.S.-led coalition opposed to their violent spread through areas of Syria and Iraq.

In the nearly 42-minute long meandering propaganda speech uploaded to Twitter, ISIS spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani encourages Muslims to kill ‘disbelievers’ in countries, including Canada, currently supporting American and French-backed military action against the group in Iraq ‘in any manner.’

‘If you can kill a disbelieving American or European — especially the spiteful and filthy French — or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State … kill him in any manner or way however it may be,’ said Adnani.

In a statement released Sunday evening, Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s spokesman condemned the recording and said Canada will continue to support efforts to defeat ISIS.

‘ISIS represents a threat not just to stability in the Middle East, but to global security,’ said Jason MacDonald, the prime minister’s director of communications.

‘We will continue to work with allies to push back against this threat. Like our allies we will not be cowed by threats while innocent children, women, men and religious minorities live in fear of these terrorists.’

The Canadian government has not said whether it views the recording as authentic, but the French government appeared to be treating it as authentic, as did SITE, a Washington based think tank that analyzes terrorist groups.

According to a report from CNN, Syrian children will no longer have the chance to learn about democracy and election as well as sports, and will instead be taught the radical teachings of the jihadists.

Posters and fliers posted on street poles and billboards indicate the new educational demands and emphasize that anyone who disobeys ‘will be punished.’

It also stated that teachers will be given alternative courses to teach the children and that phrases like the ‘Syrian Arab Republic’ would no longer be used and should be replaced by ‘Islamic State.’

Ideologies and nationalistic virtues are also prohibited in the new education system and will be replaced with teachings which emphasize ‘the belonging to Islam … and to denounce infidelity and infidels.’

Aside from this, books should no longer bear any reference to evolution and should indicate that laws of chemistry and physics are subject to ‘Allah’s rules and laws.’

The directive concluded with a vehement warning stressing that obeying it is ‘obligatory’ and that ‘all violators will be punished.’

Inquisitr – “ISIS terrorists may be in West Virginia. Investigators at the Fusion Intelligence Center in Charleston are reportedly researching classified information related to the whereabouts of Islamic State militants on a daily basis.

During an interview with Mountain State news outlet WCHSTV, the intelligence center staffers refused to get into specifics regarding how many ISIS militants could be in West Virginia, or the exact locations where the terrorists may have been spotted. Fusion Intelligence Center staffers did reveal that ISIS is recruiting and training people ‘close enough to be concerned.’ The center has also reportedly been ‘monitoring’ individuals with Islamic State ties that have passed through West Virginia.

Fusion centers were created under the arm of the Department of Justice’s Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative and the Criminal Intelligence Coordinating Council. The centers are supposed to be an ‘effective and efficient mechanism to exchange information and intelligence’ for fighting crime and terrorism. Staff at the centers merge information from multiple sources as a part of the National Criminal Intelligence Sharing Plan.

‘Our role is receiving information,’ Fusion Intelligence Center Director Thomas Kirk said.

‘You’re looking for things to authenticate what is the key difference between this one and the last one. The texture of the sand, the type of rocks, the way the wind blows, the garb that’s being worn,’ the director added in response to work investigators are conducting in relation to comparing ISIS beheading videos.

Kirk also said that if citizens think that journalist Steven Sotloff will be the last American to die at the hands of the Islamic State, we should ‘brace’ ourselves.” Read more.

Thirty-eight year-old Atal Bashar of Burke is a native of Afghanistan and a naturalized U.S. citizen. He made an initial appearance Monday in federal court in Alexandria. According to an FBI affidavit, a cleaning service hired by a real estate agent found what appeared to be a bomb while cleaning Bashar’s father’s home in the Alexandria section of the county in March 2012. According to the affidavit, Bashar admitted to investigators last week that he built the device for self-defense by placing fireworks in the duffel bag and surrounding it with shrapnel like nails and screws.” Read more.
