According to a report published on Monday by the MEMRI (Middle East Media Research Institute) Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor, the video also features jihadi cleric Abu hareth Al-Maqdisi threatening Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, saying his demise is coming soon…

Maqdisi, whose name attests to his Palestinian origin, is currently in Syria.

‘The general impression is that Al-Fawaris is close to the Islamic State, inter alia due to its use of the flag identified with the Islamic State, and due to the shared concept of shattering the Sykes-Picot boundaries that is advertised in the notice announcing the establishment of this media body,’ the report said…

‘Oh our brothers in Gaza, know that you are fighting an enemy following Satan’s path, whereas you are fighting in the way of [Allah] the merciful,’ Maqdisi said.

He added that he and his fighters want to join the fighting in Gaza.

‘True, we are fighting in Syria, but our heart yearns to arrive and fight the sons and brothers of the apes and pigs [the Jews],’ MEMRI reported Maqdisi as saying The jihadi cleric said that Gazans must be patient and wait for either victory or martyrdom, adding that Allah will soon send ‘extraordinary soldiers who will fight and defeat the Jews.’

By Chris Mitchell, CBN News – “Seven Israeli soldiers have been killed in a confrontation with Hamas infiltrators disguised as Israeli soldiers wearing suicide belts inside the Israeli border.

The IDF killed most of these infiltrators. So far, the Israel Defense Force has destroyed more than 20 tunnels and killed nearly 200 Hamas terrorists since the start of its ground operation.

Here on the Israeli-Gaza border you can see the plumes of smoke from the fighting within Gaza city. The IDF has called up 60,000 troops in Operation Protective Edge. About 30 soldiers have died in the line of battle.

Israeli soldiers find themselves fighting an enemy that uses the same tactics as al Qaeda in Iraq and the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Col. Richard Kemp, who commanded British ground troops in Afghanistan, refutes the claim that Israel has committed war crimes.

‘The British forces fought against the Taliban for many years in Afghanistan,’ Kemp said. ‘They use human shields. They attempt to lure us to kill their civilian population. It’s a common theme among Islamist extremist groups in this world.’

‘Everything I’ve seen would suggest to me that Israel is not committing a war crime,’ he said. ‘Far from it. Israel is going further than most other countries in this world, going to prevent the loss of civilian innocent civilian life.’

‘The people that are committing the war crimes are Hamas who fire rockets into Israeli civilian population indiscriminately and who also use their own people as human shields,’ he continued. ‘That is a war crime.’

‘Hamas wants the Israeli Defense Force to kill their children, their women, that’s what they want to happen,’ he said. ‘They want to get the propaganda; they want to get the publicity, the sympathy and the pity of the world to by getting the Israelis to kill their population. In the clip released by Sahara TV, Umar revealed to the sect that he is a member of Section 9 of the Nigerian armed forces engaged in counter-insurgency measures against Boko Haram. He said his monthly pay was N40,000.

By Mathias Hariyadi, AsiaNews – “Indonesian security forces ‘will not remain silent’; they will react to the growing number of supporters for radical Sunni group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), said Brigadier General Boy Rafli Amar, deputy police spokesman, who responded today to the mass ‘initiation ceremony’ organised last week in Solo (Surakarta, Central Java) by about a thousand ISIS supporters.

‘In accordance with the law,’ General Amar said, ‘every Indonesian citizen has the right to gather in a public space to express his or her beliefs and opinions, but we shall not tolerate any religiously motivated violence.’

Last week, more than a thousand people met at a mosque in Solo Baru (Sukoharjo Regency) to attend a prayer meeting hosted by the Islamic Daulah Support Forum.

After the prayer, those present declared their public support for ISIS, claiming to be ready to go to Iraq and Syria.

Afif Abdul Majid, who organised the meeting, explained that ‘not all of them agreed to be ‘initiated’, but at least half have asked to be ‘baptised’ to support the mission.’ He added that in the coming weeks such a ‘baptism’ will also be celebrated in Malang (East Java).

Gen Ansyaad Mbai, head of the anti-terrorism desk at the Ministry for Security, Legal and Foreign Affairs, warned that ISIS was drawing sympathisers from Indonesia with scores who have already left the country to fight jihad with Sunni militias in Syria and Iraq for the creation of an Islamic caliphate in the Middle East

Those who came home, the policeman said, founded a similar group in the provinces of Jakarta and East Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

Parents of wounded soldiers spoke to Kol Yisrael on Tuesday and shared some of the disturbing stories they had heard from their sons. They said soldiers have repeatedly seen young children in Sheijaya, Gaza, be sent out into the streets with guns to try to attack IDF troops.

One parent reported that terrorists had run at IDF soldiers with a gun in one hand and a baby in the other, apparently in hopes that the soldiers would see the child and hold their fire. If soldiers fired, the parent added, the child’s death could be used as propaganda against Israel.

NBC Chicago – “Anti-Jewish leaflets were found on several vehicles on Chicago’s Northwest Side, police said.

Six vehicles were discovered with leaflets containing anti-Semitic threats in their windshields Saturday morning in the 6300 block of North Monticello Avenue, according to Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic.

According to the Chicago Tribune, residents reported the material contained threats to Jewish people in connection to the rising conflict in Gaza.

The leaflets reportedly threaten violence if Israel does not pull out of Gaza.

The Chicago Police Department’s Hate Crimes unit is investigating, Sedevic said.

The incident came one day before hundreds converged in Chicago for a ‘die-in,’ demanding an ‘immediate end to Israel’s bombardment of the Palestinians of Gaza.'” Read more.
