France: Muslim Attacks Soldier In The Street, Demands He Not Act Against Islamic Terrorists In Mali

Islam verses Europe – “The victim wasn’t wearing his uniform. According to this 22-year-old man, it was indeed because of his profession that he was attacked violently, however, twice, in the La Source district.

He told police that he preferred to keep quiet about his job for fear of being insulted when he went back to visit his parents, in the district of La Source. However, this soldier was violently attacked at the foot of his parents’ building on 27 August. On that day, a neighbour, knowing his profession, reproached him with ‘defending the interests of France in Mali’, recalls an investigator. Adding actions to words, he struck the soldier on the head with his car keys, a wound that required five stitches. The attacker also struck his own sister who tried to intervene. End of the first act.

Thursday, 2 pm. The same soldier again became the target of the same man while he was waiting patiently at a tram stop in the La Source district. Kicks, punches: the attacker is said to have threatened to kill the soldier, telling him ‘that he had no business intervening against the jihadists’.

This time the man was arrested by the police, in the wake of the incident. He offered a blanket denial but the CCTV of the operating company allowed the police in La Source to confirm that blows were indeed struck against the soldier.

Aged 29, born in Libya and a citizen of Chad, the attacker ended up admitting the altercation but not the circumstances in which it unfolded. According to him, it was because the soldier got a bit too close to his sister that he came to blows with him. And not for geopolitical reasons. ‘He disputes the version of the victims and claims it was family-related,’ confirmed a source in the Orléans prosecutor’s office.” Source – Islam verses Europe.

Muslim Persecution Of Christians: July 2013, Attacks Escalate In Egypt And Nigeria

By Raymond Ibrahim, Gatestone Institute – “On July 4th, the day after the Egyptian military liberated its nation from Muslim Brotherhood rule, Christian Copts were immediately scapegoated and targeted. All Islamist leaders—from Brotherhood supreme leader Muhammad Badi, to Egyptian-born al-Qaeda leader Ayman Zawahiri, to top Sunni cleric Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi—made a point to single out Egypt’s Copts as especially instrumental in the ousting of former Islamist president Morsi, a claim that ushered in a month of slaughter against the nation’s Christian minority.

Among other events in July, unprecedented numbers of Christian churches were attacked, plundered, desecrated, and torched. According to one Egyptian human rights lawyer, ‘82 churches, many of which were from the 5th century, were attacked by pro-Morsi supporters in just two days.’ Al-Qaeda’s flag was raised above some churches; anti-Christian graffiti littered the sides of other churches and Coptic homes. Due to extreme anti-Christian sentiment, many churches ceased holding worship services until recently. Dozens of Coptic homes and businesses were also attacked, looted and torched.

In the Sinai, a young Coptic priest was shot dead in front of his church, while the body of Magdy Lam’i Habib, a Copt, was found beheaded and mutilated. Four other Christians were slaughtered by Muslims in the province of Luxor. Entire towns and villages have been emptied of Copts, including the eviction of more than 100 Christian families from El Arish in the terror-infested Sinai.

Coptic Pope Tawadros II left the papal residence at St. Mark Cathedral —which had been savagely attacked when Morsi was still president— for a time due to death threats, and temporarily discontinued holding services.

Attacks on Christian Worship: Churches and Monasteries

Guinea: During a mob-led frenzy, Christians and their churches were savagely attacked in the Muslim-majority nation; some 95 Christians were slain and 130 wounded. In Nzérékoré, five churches, as well as the homes of pastors, were attacked by Muslim mobs. One priest recounted the violence: ‘The two Catholic and Protestant churches have all been ransacked and burned… Almost all the houses and shops belonging to Christians or people affiliated with Christians, have not escaped the fury of the attackers.’ Similarly, the Catholic area, including the quarters of the nuns, was looted before being torched. In Moribadou, the violence lasted three days and saw at least 10 churches destroyed.

Indonesia: According to the Annual Report published by IndonesianChristian.org, a Protestant organization monitoring the nation’s Christian community, the pressures against Christian communities in Aceh ‘have become intolerable. Christian Leader In Syria: Christians Will Be Massacred By Islamists If Syrian Army Leaves Aleppo

The Islamist rebels even said so themselves: convert to Islam, leave, or die …

Qur’an Sura 9:29-30, “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, even if they are of the People of the Book … the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!”

CO – “According to Moussalli, roughly 200,000 Christians still reside in the war-torn streets of Aleppo. He warns that if the Syrian Army retreats due to attacks by Islamist rebels, the Christians ‘will be massacred.’

Moussalli is the patriarchal vicar of the Chaldean Catholic Church in Jordan, which borders Syria on the south. He has spent many years attending to the spiritual needs to Christians who have fled from Iraq (along the western border) into Amman, Jordan.

Father Moussalli was among more than 50 regional Christian leaders who joined with Muslim scholars, who met at a conference in Amman against Western military intervention into the region.

Not surprisingly, very few – if any of the scholars gathered there saw much use in military intervention. Father Moussalli harshly criticized the West for supporting the Islamist rebels in Syria. ‘If we [the West] are bombing Syria now, where are all the Christians going? There are two million,’ he told the BBC.

Currently, there are about 2.5 million Christians in all of Syria, and an estimated 220,000 in Aleppo, of which about 10 percent have fled because of the rebel attacks, Moussalli says.

Ignatius Joseph Younan, patriarch of Antioch for the Syrian Catholic Church, added at the conference that ‘We stress that we reject foreign interference in Syria.’

Overall, there was high condemnation for the war drums being pounded upon by the West against Syria – and elsewhere. ‘We don’t accept any intervention by foreign powers to protect minorities,’ Pope Anba Tawadros II, head of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, in Egypt said. ‘It [intervention] is basically a pretext to advance their countries’ interest in the Middle East.'” Read more.

Media Silent As Muslims Ethnically Cleanse 60,000 Christians In Philippines

By Daniel Greenfield, Frontpage Mag – “When thousands of Muslims become refugees, then you can’t get the media to shut up about it for weeks. Thousands of Muslim migrants invading Burma became ‘refugees’ and the media has spent the better part of a year ranting about how evil the Buddhists are.

But when Muslim terrorists attack a Christian city creating tens of thousands of refugees, you couldn’t pay the media to cover the story, whether it’s in Syria, Egypt or closer to home in the Philippines.

Philippine troops have started to battle their way into coastal villages in the south where Muslim rebels have held scores of residents hostage in a six-day standoff, sparking fierce clashes that have killed 56 people and displaced more than 60,000, officials said Saturday.

President Benigno Aquino III said more firefights were expected but assured more than 62,000 displaced villagers being sheltered at a sports complex in Zamboanga city that the rebels’ capability to sow trouble has been degraded and the government was working to end the crisis soon.

Zamboanga is the 6th largest city in the country and 3/4 Christian and an obvious target for the MNLF Muslim terrorists (who are of course denying responsibility and blaming a rogue leader). It’s an obvious target because of its central influence in Mindanao. It’s the city that Muslims want. BY JOEL GEHRKE, Washington Examiner – “President Obama waived a provision of federal law designed to prevent the supply of arms to terrorist groups to clear the way for the U.S. to provide military assistance to ‘vetted’ opposition groups fighting Syrian dictator Bashar Assad.

Some elements of the Syrian opposition are associated with radical Islamic terrorist groups, including al Qaeda, which was responsible for the Sept. 11 attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville, Pa., in 2001. Assad’s regime is backed by Iran and Hezbollah.

The president, citing his authority under the Arms Export Control Act, announced today that he would ‘waive the prohibitions in sections 40 and 40A of the AECA related to such a transaction.’

Those two sections prohibit sending weaponry to countries described in section 40(d): ‘The prohibitions contained in this section apply with respect to a country if the Secretary of State determines that the government of that country has repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism,’ Congress stated in the Arms Control Export Act.

‘For purposes of this subsection, such acts shall include all activities that the Secretary determines willfully aid or abet the international proliferation of nuclear explosive devices to individuals or groups or willfully aid or abet an individual or groups in acquiring unsafeguarded special nuclear material,’ the law continues.

The law allows the president to waive those prohibitions if he ‘determines that the transaction is essential to the national security interests of the United States.’

Under section 40(g) of the AECA, the Obama team must also provide Congress — at least 15 days before turning over the weapons — ‘the name of any country involved in the proposed transaction, the identity of any recipient of the items to be provided pursuant to the proposed transaction, and the anticipated use of those items,’ along with a list of the weaponry to be provided, when they will be delivered, and why the transfer is key to American security interests.” Read more.

Report: Syria Smuggling Chemical Weapons To Iraq

By Maayana Miskin, INN – “Syria’s government has responded to pressure over a recent chemicalweapons massacre by promising to give up its chemical weapons. However, according to the Lebanese paper Al-Mustaqbal, its method of disposal has been to ship the weapons to Iraq.

The paper reported that roughly 20 Syrian trucks crossed into Iraq under heavy guard on Thursday and Friday, without undergoing cargo checks.

Al-Mustaqbal is affiliated with the anti-Syrian camp in Lebanese politics. Thepaper also quoted an Iraqi official as denying that his country has receivedchemical weapons shipments.

‘These accusations are all rumors and useless and no one believes them,’ said Saad Maan, a spokesperson for Iraq’s Interior Ministry.

Iraqi officials issued a similar denial last week after Salim Idriss, a general in the Syrian rebel group Free Syrian Army, reported the movement of Syrianchemical weapons to Iraq.” Read more.

Residents who fled from the ancient town of Maalula in Syria told AFP that jihadists ambushed the town last week and forced a man to convert to Islam at gunpoint.

‘They arrived in our town at dawn… and shouted ‘We are from the Al-Nusra Front and have come to make lives miserable for the Crusaders,’ said one woman identified as Marie in Damascus, where many people from Maalula fled after rebels first attacked that town on Sept. 4…

‘I saw people wearing Al-Nusra headbands who started shooting at crosses,’ the Christian senior told the AFP. One of the shooters, he said, ‘put a pistol to the head of my neighbor and forced him to convert to Islam by obliging him to repeat ‘there is no God but God’…Afterwards they joked, ‘he’s one of ours now’.’ …

Another Maalula resident, Rasha said the jihadists brutally murdered her fiancé Atef, who was a part of the town’s militia.

‘I rang his mobile phone and one of them answered,’ she said…

Rasha said the man told her Atef was asked to denounce his faith and convert to Islam and he refused.

‘Jesus didn’t come to save him,’ the rebel taunted.” Read more.

By Patrick Witty, TIME – “All wars are vicious, but the civil war in Syria seems every day to set new standards for brutality. As the fighting rages in its third year, increasing numbers of atrocities are committed by soldiers and fighters from forces loyal to the regime of President Bashar Assad, as well as armed rebels and Islamic militants from the numerous, loosely aligned groups opposing Assad. The violence is frequently sectarian in nature, with fighters claiming they act in defense of their faith, be it Sunni, Alawite, Shiite or any of the other sects that contribute to Syria’s religious landscape.

The perpetrators of atrocities themselves often use digital cameras or smartphones to photograph or film their acts of torture and murder, uploading the images to the Internet. These images and videos are used for propaganda, and their authenticity is often impossible to verify. It is very rare that a group of fighters from either side gives a professional photojournalist from a country outside Syria full and unfettered access to chronicle an atrocity as it unfolds. The images above are products of that access.

What follows is a harrowing series of photographs of Islamic militants publicly executing, by decapitation, a young Syrian in the town of Keferghan, near Aleppo, on August 31, 2013.

Because of the danger in reporting inside Syria, it was not possible to confirm the identity or political affiliation of the victim. Nor are we certain about the motivation of his killers. One eyewitness who lives in the area and was contacted by TIME a week after the beheadings said that the executioners were from ISIS, an Al-Qaeda franchise operating in Syria and Iraq.

TIME obtained the images exclusively from a photographer who was recently in Syria. This decapitation was the last of four executions he documented that day. TIME has agreed not to publish the photographer’s name,  to protect him from repercussions when he returns to Syria. What follows is an edited account of his experience:

The man was brought in to the square. His eyes were blindfolded. I began shooting pictures, one after the other. It was to be the fourth execution that day I would photograph. I was feeling awful; several times I had been on the verge of throwing up. But I kept it under control because as a journalist I knew I had to document this, as I had the three previous beheadings I had photographed that day, in three other locations outside Aleppo.

The crowd began cheering. Everyone was happy. I knew that if I tried to intervene I would be taken away, and that the executions would go ahead. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to change what was happening and I might put myself in danger.

I saw a scene of utter cruelty: a human being treated in a way that no human being should ever be treated. But it seems to me that in two and a half years, the war has degraded people’s humanity. On this day the people at the execution had no control over their feelings, their desires, their anger. It was impossible to stop them.

I don’t know how old the victim was but he was young. He was forced to his knees. The rebels around him read out his crimes from a sheet of paper. They stood around him. The young man was on his knees on the ground, his hands tied. He seemed frozen.

President Obama made his case to the American people and the world community Tuesday night that Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad must not be allowed to escape the consequences of using chemical weapons on civilians as the two-year-long Syrian civil war drags on.

Iran, a staunch ally of the Assad regime, is warning that any military action against Syria will cause a military and terrorist reaction on U.S. targets and allies.

Despite overwhelming evidence from the horrific August 21 sarin gas attack that killed more than 1,400 civilians, hundreds of them children, Iran says it won’t sit idly by if the U.S. attacks Syria.

For now, Obama said in an East Room address Tuesday night, he will delay any proposal to Congress authorizing a punitive strike if diplomatic efforts result in Syria agreeing to verifiable destruction of its chemical weapons cache. Obama warned that to not act against Syrian atrocities would give the green light to Iran to develop nuclear weapons and terrorists to use chemical weapons.

But if diplomacy fails, unintended consequences could result from a U.S. assault. Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu both should know that all options are on the table, including the destruction of Haifa and Tel Aviv, should the U.S. attack Syria, Iran has declared.

That blunt warning came in Mashregh News, the Islamic Republic’s official media outlet run by the Revolutionary Guards intelligence unit, in an alarming commentary last week.

‘Despite the analysis by some in the country (Iran),’ Mashregh wrote, ‘the U.S. posture and its saber-rattling are just a psychological war against Syria. The fact is that the current military preparation of the (U.S.) enemy points to a military confrontation and today we are facing a complete security and military scenario.’

Mashregh said the most important part of this scenario is how Iran would respond to a limited attack on Syria. A few years ago, CBN News filmed Denmark’s Muslim community marching through the streets of Copenhagen under a banner that read ‘Islam is peace and love.’

It would be great if it were true. But a few weeks ago one of Denmark’s most influential Muslim leaders dropped a bombshell when he admitted that every mosque in Denmark is controlled by a radical imam.

Even before George W. Bush went to a Washington, D.C. mosque after 9/11 and said the World Trade Center attack was not the true face of Islam, critics have accused Western leaders of being more concerned with appearing tolerant than confronting the threat posed by radical Islam. This is because while the vast majority of the world’s Muslims are not terrorists, the vast majority of the world’s terrorists are Muslims.

The United States has foiled more than 60 terrorist plots since 9/11. Britain uncovers at least one major terrorist attack every year. But there are other forms of violence from Muslim culture that authorities aren’t facing…

Britain is still reeling from a scandal in which police covered up a Muslim rape gang epidemic for 10 years; one in which primarily Pakistani men made white English girls their sex slaves.

For years, British authorities tried to pretend that Muslim sex grooming gangs didn’t exist. And so the problem grew, and more young women had their lives ruined.

Muslim immigrant gangs in Britain are still so dangerous that when CBN News tried to interview rape gang victims no one would go on camera. Even their family members and friends insisted that they would be in danger if their identities or faces were shown.

A woman from northern England, who we’re calling ‘Christine,’ told us there are areas now where young girls just can’t walk down their own streets. ‘People are too scared to come out and say what is going on.’

‘The real scandal is that this has been going on for 20 years, and no policeman has ever resigned over this,’ said George Igler, director of the Discourse Institute in Britain told CBN News.

‘For 20 years, they just did not investigate. And the reason why they didn’t investigate was just the inability to speak freely,’ he said. ‘The fact that something was taboo, meant you couldn’t talk about it.’ …

According to Igler, when British solder Lee Rigby was beheaded in the streets of London by a Nigerian Muslim, one of British Prime Minister David Cameron’s first orders of business was to appear open minded and tolerant.

‘He didn’t look into the camera and say, ‘I’m tripling base security immediately. We will find those who are responsible, This has got nothing to do with Islam,” he said. ‘So, all these people who were listening realized in an instant that they were being lied to,’ Rigler said.

Cameron had to be corrected by an Islamic terrorist group that bluntly stated the Rigby murder was indeed because of Islam.” Read more.

Muslim Persecution Of Christians: June, 2013, ‘The Degradation Of Christian Women Under Islam’

In Syria, after the al-Qaeda linked rebel group conquered Qusair, a city of the governate of Homs, 15-year-old Mariam was kidnapped, repeatedly gang raped according to a fatwa legitimizing the rape of non-Sunni women by any Muslim waging jihad against Syria’s government, and then executed.

According to Agenzia Fides, ‘The commander of the battalion ‘Jabhat al-Nusra’ in Qusair took Mariam, married and raped her. Then he repudiated her. The next day the young woman was forced to marry another Islamic militant. He also raped her and then repudiated her. The same trend was repeated for 15 days, and Mariam was raped by 15 different men. This psychologically destabilized her and made her insane. Mariam became mentally unstable and was eventually killed.’

In Pakistan, Muslim men stormed the home of three Christian women, beat them, stripped them naked and tortured them, and then paraded them in the nude in a village in the Kasur district. Days earlier, it seems the goats of the Christian family had accidentally trespassed onto Muslim land; Muslims sought to make an example of the Christian family, who, as third-class citizens, must know their place at all times.

Attacks on Christian Worship: Churches and Monasteries

Iraq: During the middle of the night, armed men attacked St. Mary’s Assyrian Catholic Church in Baghdad; they wounded two Christian guards, one seriously. Later the same day, bombs were set off at two Christian-owned businesses, both near the church; they killed one Christian shop owner, a parishioner at St. Mary’s. Since the U.S. ‘liberation’ of Iraq in 2003, 73 churches have been attacked or bombed, and more than half of the country’s Christian population has either fled or been killed.

Kenya: Motorbike assailants hurled an explosive device into the Earthquake Miracle Ministries Church in Mrima village church compound during the Sunday of June 9, injuring 15 people, including one pastor who had both his legs broken, another pastor who sustained serious injuries, and a 10-year-old child. Said another church leader, ‘The Christians living around the scene of the incident are still in shock and are wondering as to the mission behind the attack, while several pastors looked demoralized. But others said prayers will help them stand strong in sharing the Christian faith.’ Islamic extremists from Somalia’s jihadi organization Al Shabaab are suspected of this and other attacks on Christians in the coastal areas of Kenya.

Nigeria: Four churches were burned in an attack committed by members of the jihadi group Boko Haram in Borno State in the Muslim-majority north of the country. According to Agenzia Fides, ‘A group of armed men with improvised explosive devices and petrol bombs attacked the Hwa’a, Kunde, Gathahure and Gjigga communities on Gwoza Hills, burning the 4 churches, raiding and looting cattle and grain reserves belonging to the population.’ Discussing the ongoing terrorism Christians in the north are exposed to, one pastor lamented, ‘There are Christian villages that have been completely wiped out by these Muslim terrorists… Christian fellowship activities and evangelism outreaches are no longer Read more…

By Maayana Miskin, INN – “While Fatah head and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas negotiates with Israel for the creation of a PA state, Fatah’s armed branch, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade, has declared war.

The Brigade issued a statement Tuesday announcing that it would give the ‘green light’ to terrorist attacks targeting Israelis beginning on Friday.

The reason given for the planned resumption of open hostilities was Jewish visits to the Temple Mount, which the group termed, ‘The invasion of the compound by hordes of settlers, and the harm to [Muslim] worshipers, with nointervention from the international community.’

Tensions have been high on the Temple Mount in recent weeks, with many Jewish visitors to the holy site reporting harassment and violence at the hands of groups of Muslims.

The Temple Mount is the holiest place on earth according to Judaism. The site is currently run by the Muslim Wakf. Jews are allowed to visit only during limited hours, and are forbidden to pray on the Mount.

Muslim leaders have denounced Jewish visits to the Temple Mount, which is also the site of the Al Aqsa Mosque, and have accused Israel and Jews of attempting to harm the mosque. PA leaders, including Abbas himself, have made similar claims, insisting that Jews have no ties to the holy site and that Israel is secretly plotting to replace the mosque with a Jewish Temple.” Read more.
