“Earth Is In The Firing Line”: Sun Unleashes NEW Colossal X9+ Class Solar Flare, Largest Since 2017, Radio Blackouts “Around The World” Feared

October is shaping up to be a little unnerving for many in more ways than one …

Space.com – “The sun has just unleashed its most powerful solar flare this cycle, a colossal X-class eruption.

The X9.05 solar flare peaked at 8:10 a.m. EDT (1210 GMT), triggering shortwave radio blackouts over Africa and Europe, the sunlit portion of Earth at the time of eruption.

The solar flare emanated from the sunspot group AR3842, which has made headlines before. On Oct. 1, the same sunspot region fired off a powerful X7.1 solar flare and unleashed a coronal mass ejection (CME) — a plume of plasma and magnetic field — which is currently barreling toward Earth. The incoming CME is expected to hit Earth between Oct. 3 and Oct. 5, possibly triggering widespread auroras.” Read more.

Enormous Solar Flare On The Sun Sparks Fears Of Radio Blackouts Around The World – “A massive solar storm has knocked out radio communication that is expected to affect millions across the world. The major X9.05 solar flare was fired from the sun and is expected to impact regions in Africa, the Atlantic Ocean and eastern South America. According to spaceflight meteorologist Nick Stewart, the major X-class solar flare is ‘in progress.'” Read more.

Mercury, Venus, Mars & Jupiter Converge in Night Sky

“During this month of May, four bright planets will engage in a fascinating dance with each other in the morning sky.

Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter will be involved in a series of conjunctions, joined at the end of the month by a very thin, waning crescent moon. We could even refer to this as a ‘celestial summit meeting,’ or more precisely, a series of summit meetings during May 2011.

Twice during May three planets will converge to form a ‘trio.’

According to Belgian calculator Jean Meeus, a trio is when three planets fit within a circle with a minimum diameter of 5 degrees…

On Wednesday (May 11), Mercury, Venus and Jupiter will converge within 2.05-degrees of each other, followed just 10 days later by another trio, this time formed by Mercury, Venus and Mars, which will crowd within a 2.13-degree circle. Then late in the month, on three successive mornings, May 29th, 30th, and 31st, the waning crescent moon will arrive, sweeping past Jupiter, Mars, Venus and Mercury stretched out across the eastern sky from upper right to lower left.” Read more.
