07/07/2011 Leave a comment

“Hyderabad: July 7, 2011. (PCP) A Christian husband who converted to Islam to marry another woman is attacking and harassing his Christian wife along with his Muslim friends and pressing her to convert to Islam [or] get ready to die.

It is common practice among Christian men who want to marry a second woman, convert to Islam to avoid charges of Islamic adultery laws as Islam preaches and allows polygamy.

Parvez Masih son of Siraj Masih, resident of Latifabad, Hyderabad, Sindh province of Pakistan, establish relationship with another woman and to marry her accepted religion Islam.

Pervaz Masih became Mohammad Parvez and then he wanted to bring his first wife in his new home with his son.

Mohammad Parvez had only one option to put pressure on his first wife Surriya Bibi to convert to Islam with her son to stay as his second wife.

In Pakistan, Christian marriage cannot be declared null and void in any court of law without concrete evidence of adultery in any marriage partner.

To avoid long legal divorce fight in court of law, Christian men or women, adopt easy way to convert to Islam because as they convert, then no law applies on them to face any charges.

The Muslim welcome newly converted Christians to Islam and financially supports them to comfortable life and takes full responsibility of their security and legal issues.

After conversion to Islam, Mohammad Parvez became very powerful and intended to bring her first Christian wife as second wife.

The Muslim friends of Mohammad Parvez started harassing Surriya Bibi and forcibly attempted to kidnap her son.

Yesterday, Mohammad Parvez threatened to Surriya Bibi that convert to Islam or get ready to die. The parents of Surriya Bibi have contacted Christian Member of Sindh Assembly Saleem Khurshid Khokhar and waiting for government action against Mohammad Parvez.” Source.

Flashback: Taliban in Pakistan Warns Christian to Convert to Islam or Be Killed – “International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that on October 6, members of the Taliban sent threatening letters in Sargodha, Pakistan warning Christian leaders to convert to Islam or face dire consequences. A copy of the letter obtained by ICC warns Christians to convert to Islam, pay Jizya tax (an Islamic tax imposed on religious minorities) or leave the country. If Christians refuse to accept the choices given to them, the letter explains that they ‘would be killed, their property and homes would be burnt to ashes and their women would be treated as sex slaves. And they themselves would be responsible for this.'” Read more.

Muslims Down Under Go Over-The-Top, Burn More Bridges with Plan to Expand Offensive Anti-Christian Signs to Other Cities

Another Sharia creep tactic intended to deceive those who are not fully grounded in the faith that was delivered to the saints. Sure, the Jesus-is-a-prophet-of-Islam proponents will say that Jesus is the Christ, but will then preach another gospel and another Jesus that is completely different from the historical Christian faith.  Not only are they coming in Christ’s name — the Prince of Peace — by claiming that Jesus is a prophet of Islam and by claiming itself to be the ‘religion of peace‘, they also claim that Jesus was not God who came in the flesh, that Jesus was not the unique Son of God, that Jesus did not die on the cross and was resurrected, and that Jesus is not the Savior of humanity because someone else is.  They deny the very foundation upon which Christianity stands. But do not believe the lie:

2 John 1:7, “For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist.”

Galatians 1:9, “As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!”

Matthew 24:5, “For many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and will deceive many.”

By David Nankervis – “CONTROVERSIAL billboards proclaiming Jesus is a prophet of Islam will be rolled out in Adelaide.

The signs are part of a campaign claiming to promote religious tolerance.

The campaign will feature provocative ads saying Jesus a Prophet of Islam and will appear on billboards and public transport buses, Islamic group Mypeace says.

The campaign was launched in Sydney six weeks ago amid much controversy, with two billboards later vandalised and a Christian group countering the public statement with its own billboard campaign at a cost of $25,000.

The Mypeace advertisements – which included a contact number for information about Islam and offers of a free copy of the Koran – were displayed on four billboards and 40 buses and resulted in 65 complaints to the Advertising Standards Bureau.

But following the bureau’s dismissal of the complaints last week, Mypeace founder Diaa Mohamed said he would start an advertising campaign in Adelaide “within the next few weeks”.

‘There will probably be a couple of billboards but we are not sure about how many buses,’ he said.

‘We want to create greater tolerance and understanding of Muslims, it’s about building bridges.'” Read more.

Christian Preacher Harassed and Bullied at 2011 Dearborn Arab Festival

07/04/2011 6 comments

Land of the Free: Christian preacher speaks about the Jesus of the Bible in Dearborn, MI.  Muslims in the crowd chant “Allahu akbar!” (Allah is greater!), mock the Christian view of Jesus, and repeatedly call the Christian a “nigger.”  Could you imagine what the Muslim community in Dearborn would be doing right now if an ‘angry group of Christians’ had said these things to an Imam preaching about Mohammed? Protests galore within the Ummah, widespread coverage on the leftist national media about racist angry white extremists, and the police would have arrested Christians for “hate speech” and incitement.  But because this was said by a group of Muslims to a Christian preacher, the police do nothing and the media looks the other way …

“Dearborn is caught in a spiral. A few years ago, peaceful Christian missionaries would quietly come to Dearborn to preach the Gospel. Then security started slapping Christians around, and police began throwing Christians in jail and trampling on the Constitution. This drew some of the more vocal, confrontational, anti-Sharia Christian groups to the city (e.g. Terry Jones, Ruben Israel, etc.). But instead of showing the world how peaceful and loving Muslims are, Dearborn reacted with further hostility, even towards peaceful Christian preachers. This, of course, will draw even more anti-Sharia groups to Dearborn in the future. Will the city continue to respond in anger? If so, I see no end to the spiral.” Source.

Egyptian Muslims Torch 8 Christian Homes on Rumor of Church Construction

06/26/2011 Leave a comment

“(AINA) — A mob of nearly 200 Muslims torched eight Christian homes on Saturday morning in the Upper Egyptian village of Awlad Khalaf. The attack was initiated by a rumor that a house which is being built by Wahib Halim Attia will be turned into a church. Two Christians and one Muslim were injured, no fatalities were reported.

Wahib Halim Attia obtained a license to build a house in the village on a 95 square meter plot. The house grew to an area of 350 square meters but was still on agricultural land that he owns. This gave rise to the rumor that he intended to build a church instead.

Father Weesa Azmy, the priest at St. George Church in the neighboring village of Negou Madam East, said that someone went to the City Council in Dar es Salam and told them about the irregularities in the house construction, and Wahib was ordered to remove the excess by June 24. ‘Instead Wahib carried on with the construction, which angered the Muslims, who decided to play God and take the law into their own hands; they attacked the construction site and other Christian homes.'” Read more.

Christian Persecution a ‘Worldwide Emergency’

06/24/2011 Leave a comment

By Becky Ye – “A new report from an Italian sociologist shows that a Christian is killed every five minutes because of his or her faith, and the researcher says it’s critical that that information is made known to the world.

In the study by Massimo Introvigne, a representative of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, approximately 105,000 Christians are killed every year. That number does not include Christians who are murdered because of war, but solely represents believers who are put to death for their faith.

Jonathan Racho of International Christian Concern (ICC) laments the fact that anti-Christian persecution has sharply increased and is widely unrecognized.

‘The number of Christians who are killed within 100 years, in the 20th century, [it] is more than the number of Christians who were killed in the centuries preceding the 20th century,’ he reports.” Read more.

Egypt: Christian Girls Kidnapped and ‘Sold’

06/24/2011 Leave a comment

By Raymond Ibrahim – “Two teenage Coptic girls, cousins, were recently kidnapped and then ‘sold’ in Minya, Egypt—the same region where a Coptic church was recently attacked and desecrated. I tried to find this story in English-language media and, as expected, found nothing, except for one report in Al-Masry Al-Youm titled ‘Clashes between police and Coptic protesters in Minya’—as if that’s the important story (as usual, the media prefers headlines portraying harried Christian minorities as equally culpable as their Muslim persecutors, thereby justifying use of the preferred phrase, ‘sectarian strife’).

At the end of the Al-Masry Al-Youm report, we get a trailing sentence alluding to ‘claims’ that two Christian girls ‘were abducted by Muslims and forced to convert to Islam’ as the reason why Copts were demonstrating and clashing with the police in the first place.

One must again turn to Arabic sources for the telling details. I have put together the following narrative and quotes based on these two Arabic reports:” Read more.

We Will ‘Cut Him to Pieces’: Muslims Surround Church in Upper Egypt, Threaten to Kill Priest

06/24/2011 Leave a comment

“(AINA) — Hundreds of Muslims surrounded the church of St George today in the village of Beni Ahmed West, 7 KM south of Minya, vowing to kill its priest Father George Thabet, who was serving the morning mass and was locked in the church with a number of parishioners. Security forces arrived five hours later and escorted Father George in a police car to the Coptic Diocese in Minya. ‘Father George looked as if he was the criminal, leaving his church in a police car.’ said one of the eye-witnesses. The Coptic youth who were attending mass remained inside church to defend it from Muslim attacks.

Eyewitnesses reported the Muslim mob, in their white dresses and long beards, chanted ‘We will kill the priest, we will kill him and no one will prevent us.’ One of their leaders said that they will ‘…cut him to pieces.’

It was reported that no police or security of any kind was present during the events.” Read more.

Obama Pulls Out of Afghanistan as Terror Increases, More Details of Gruesome Beheading of Afghan Christian Surfaces

06/23/2011 Leave a comment

Revelation 20:4, “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”

“Afghans are warning of dire consequences for the country’s tiny Christian population should American forces leave Afghanistan, as President Barack Obama prepares to announce his plans for a troop drawdown in a televised address to the nation scheduled for Wednesday evening.

‘If U.S. troops are not in Afghanistan the Taliban will come to power,’ said Obaid S. Christ, an Afghan Christian exiled to India who spoke to me Tuesday…

… a more recent, gruesome incident makes clear that the danger for anyone turning from Islam in Afghanistan is not over.  A video released in recent weeks, and made available to WORLD this week by two separate Afghan sources, shows four Afghan militants beheading a man believed to be a Christian in Herat Province.

The militants, who claim to be Taliban, captured the victim, a man in his 40s named Abdul Latif (according to Obaid Christ, who provided translation of the video), earlier this year from his village outside Enjeel, a town south of Herat.

In the two-minute video, the men, wearing explosive belts (or suicide vests) and kaffiya head scarves to cover their faces, recite verses from the Quran while forcing Latif to the ground and pinning him with their feet. ‘You who are joined with pagans . . . your sentence [is] to be beheaded,’ read one of the militants in Farsi from what looked like a paper decree. ‘Whoever changes his religion should be executed.’ The passages refer to Sura 8:12 (‘I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks . . .’) and the hadiths, or sayings of Mohammed.” Read more.

Islam’s Persecution of Christians in Malaysia

06/22/2011 3 comments

By Jamie Glazov – “Frontpage Interview’s guest today is The Anti-Jihadist, a counter-jihad writer, activist and critic of Islam who resides in a majority Muslim country. He writes under a pseudonym for reasons that do not need to be explained. His work can also be found at Jihad Watch, Infidel Bloggers Alliance and Pedestrian Infidel.

FP: Welcome The Anti-Jihadist to Frontpage Interview.

I would like to talk to you today about the Muslim persecution of Christians in Malaysia. But first, tell us a bit about your background and how you arrived to being who you are.

The Anti-Jihadist: In order to protect my identity, I’d rather not get into too many specifics about my background, for reasons I hope you and your readers understand. Suffice it to say that I grew up in a middle class, educated family where the discussion of politics and other ‘sensitive’ topics was encouraged. I grew to appreciate and then embrace this intellectual sort of freedom.

As I grew older, I began to notice differences between what I heard the government say or what was taught in school, and what was really happening in the world, but I learned to keep such thoughts to myself in order to get along. Then 9-11 happened and it turned the world upside down, my own perception of it in particular. I wanted to be surprised that Muslims had carried out mass murder explicitly in the name of Islam, but I wasn’t. Another shock for me was when I found out that the Muslims — jihadists, Al Qaeda members and others — who planned the attacks in New York and Washington had had a big planned meeting right here in Kuala Lumpur (the capital and biggest city in Malaysia) in early 2000. And the conspiracy theories about 9-11, the increased appearance of anti-Semitic diatribes in Malaysian bookshops (one tome by Henry Ford is popular here) were things that I simply could not turn a blind eye to anymore.” Read more.

Sudan: Bishop Fears Genocide of North Sudanese Christians by Islamists Once South Gains Independence

06/22/2011 Leave a comment

By Karen Peake – “The Bishop of Kadugli is calling upon Christians worldwide to pray and fast ahead of South Sudan’s secession next month.

Bishop Andudu Adam Elnail has warned of a possible ‘genocide’ in the Nuba Mountains region, where violence has broken out in recent weeks.

The region, home to many Christians, will remain under the control of Khartoum and the Muslim North when South Sudan gains its independence on July 9.

As Sudanese tanks and artillery move in, hundreds of thousands of Nuba are fleeing their homes and development agencies have withdrawn their staff.

UN officials and eyewitnesses escaping the bloodshed tell of elders being executed by the Sudanese Army and bombing campaigns that have destroyed churches and homes.” Read more.

Sudan Ethnic Cleansing Begins Again – “… less than a month before South Sudan officially separates from the Islamic Republic of Sudan and becomes Africa’s 54th nation, ethnic cleansing has begun again in the Nuba Mountains, now known by its Arab name ‘South Kordofan.’ Beginning on June 5, 2011, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) of the NCP and the Popular Defense Forces (PDF), an Islamic militia comprised of Misseriya Arabs known as the ‘Al Qaeda of Sudan,’ launched an attack, a war of extermination, in the Nuba Mountains. The attack began just two hours after the NCP signed a ceasefire agreement with northern representatives of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM).” Read more.

Anti-Christian Violence Continues in Pakistan

05/30/2011 Leave a comment

By Penny Starr – “(CNSNews.com) – Anti-Christian violence continues in Pakistan and police are not pursuing the perpetrators, according to news reports.

A May 26 article in AsiaNews.it described the gang-rape of a Christian woman and the desecration of Christian tombs in the Pakistani city of Faisalabad. The publication called it ‘ordinary violence visited upon Pakistan’s Christian minority.’

The Pakistan Christian Post first reported the violence, including information about Muslim landowners using tractors to desecrate a Christian graveyard. Buried caskets were broken and bones of the dead were brought to the surface, the newspaper reported.” Read more.
