In the name of “Allah” the most [un]merciful and most [un]compassionate. In 2012, the National Council for Women revealed that girls were sexually harassed on average 7 times every 200 meters in Egypt, with well over two-thirds of all women suffering harassment on a daily basis. This type of behavior — including rapes, abductions and forced “marriages” — are part and parcel of the Islamist culture that is fomenting throughout the Muslim world …

By Perry Chiaramonte, Fox News – “Young Christian women are facing a greater risk of being kidnapped by extremists, tortured, and even forced to convert to Islam since the Arab Spring ended in 2011.

This year already has seen a spike in the incidents, according to a report by the non-profit advocacy group International Christian Concern. It has been estimated by the ICC and other watchdog groups in the region that there have been 500 reported cases of young women being attacked by Muslim men since 2011, but unreported cases could send the figure much higher.

The girls are often assaulted, raped, kidnapped, forced to change their faith and sometimes killed, the ICC said. Making matter worse, nothing is being done by local authorities to prevent it in provinces across Egypt, according to officials from both the ICC and the Clarion Project, a US-based non-profit think tank and advocacy group.

‘Not only are they turning a blind eye, they are often compliant,’ Issac Six, a spokesman for the ICC told FoxNews.com, citing one incident in which a father was assaulted by an officer for asking too many questions about efforts to have his abducted daughter returned.

‘It’s pervasive; police at the local level are not stopping the abductions. There needs to be more pressure from the top,’ he added. ‘We have seen cases before where we’ve seen victims returned when the police put pressure on the kidnappers. We know it’s possible, unfortunately, the police are often complacent.’

Six added that the problem is largely ignored by the international community and that the U.S. needs to be more vocal about the issue in its dialogue with the Egyptian government.

One reported incident occurred in the city of Luxor as recently as February when 15-year-old Amira Hafez Wahib attended a morning prayer service at a local church, according to the study from ICC. Amira had asked her mother if she could go to a store near the church to buy an item. Her mother let her go but urged her to hurry right back.

Morning Star News – “The 17-year-old daughter of a Muslim man in Uganda was able to attend one church service this month before he killed her for leaving Islam, sources said.

Abdul Hakim Ibanda of Kamuli town in eastern Uganda beat Nanvunani Shamimu and her 19-year-old sister, Nawudo Hasifa, with a blunt instrument after learning that they had attended the church service on April 6, Hasifa told Morning Star News.

The two sisters turned to the Christian faith after they had the same dream the night of April 4, she said.

‘We both saw a man dressed in white clothes, telling us to go and be prayed for in the church, but he did not tell us which church to go to,’ Hasifa said.

On April 6 they attended United Believers Church in Kawaga, Kamuli District. ‘On Sunday morning we arrived at the United Believers Church and straight away went to see the pastor and explained to him about the dream and that we were ready to be Christians,’ she said. ‘The pastor prayed for us to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives. After prayers we then went to church, where the pastor introduced us to the church and that we were new members of the church. The church faithful were cheerful to receive us.’

Area Muslims who saw them enter the church building immediately reported it to their father, sources said. He gathered a group of 32 youths to attack the church, said pastor Musis James of United Believers Church.

‘When we saw the rowdy youth approaching the church, the Christians made an alarm and we all left the service in readiness for any eventuality,’ James said. ‘Some of the Muslims retreated, while a few came to where we were and warned us that the two girls should not worship with them, then they left.’

The two sisters arrived home that evening to find their father was furious.

‘Our father did not even greet us, but immediately questioned us why we decided to attend the church,’ Hasifa said. ‘We kept quiet. Our silence angered our father. He removed a blunt object and started beating us indiscriminately…” Read more.

Pakistan Christian Post – “Haroon, alias Sunny, aged 22, was murdered by a Muslim colleague who shot him dead on April 16, 2014. He had recently started work at an Islamic [business] in Lahore as a sweeper, where he worked alongside Muslim security guard Umer Farooq.

Farooq mocked Haroon’s Christian faith on a daily basis and forced him to embrace Islam. He started showing dreams to Haroon and told him that he was good looking and should embrace Islam. He also promised to him a life of luxury and marriage to a rich Muslim woman, but Haroon did not care about these things and refused to embrace Islam.

When Haroon told his father what was going on, he was advised to ignore Farooq. On April 16, 2014 Haroon went to work and Farooq again started a conversation about religion and began pressurizing him to embrace Islam. Haroon asked Farooq politely why he was so adamant for him to embrace Islam as he was not ready from his heart. He again clearly refused to convert, stating that he was a true follower of Jesus Christ. Farooq then became aggressive and opened fire on Haroon, with a bullet hitting him the head, killing him on the spot. He later started shouting that Haroon had attempted suicide.

The police took the security guard into custody immediately, but did not register an FIR because they wanted to convert the murder case into suicide. When the local Christians heard about the murder they came out of their houses and staged a protest in front of the police station – it was only then that they lodged an FIR.

Umer Farooq is currently in custody and his case is under investigation.

Malaysia Chronicle – “Following the death of Karpal Singh and the outpouring of grief, Muslims were reminded by the National Fatwa Council today that they were not encouraged to use the phrase ‘Rest in Peace’ (RIP) to a non-Muslim because the term had Christian connotations.

In a statement issued on its website, http://www.e-fatwa.gov.my, the National Fatwa Council said Muslims could express their condolences to non-Muslim families.

‘Condolences can be expressed to a non-Muslim family as long as there are no religious implications,’ it said.

‘Wishes such as ‘I sympathise with what has happened to you’ or ‘we express our sadness at the loss in your family’ are allowed.

‘However, a Muslim is definitely not encouraged to wish a non-Muslim person ‘Rest in Peace’,’ the council said.

The council said RIP was an assumption that the non-Muslim person would receive God’s blessings.

“It is similar to the Latin prayer of ‘May his soul and the souls of all the departed faithful by God’s mercy rest in peace’.”

The council said this sentence was a form of prayer regularly used by Christians, especially during the 18th century and regularly engraved on tombstones.

‘From an Islamic point of view, a person who has died in blasphemy will not receive God’s forgiveness and blessings,’ it said.” Read more.

By Faith J. H. McDonnell, FrontPage Mag – “An explosion devastated a busy bus station on the outskirts of the Nigerian capital of Abuja on Monday, April 14, 2014. It was the latest in a series of terrorist attacks on Africa’s most populous nation. No group had claimed credit for the attack as of Monday, but Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan laid the blame at the feet of Boko Haram, the Islamist terrorist group seeking the eradication of Christians and the Islamization of Nigeria.

The blast took place at 6:55 a.m. according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). Reuters reported at least 71 dead and 124 injured, but on Tuesday, Punch raised the number dead to 89, including three perpetrators, with 257 injured. And this was not the week’s only attack.

Just days earlier, Boko Haram jihadists killed some 200 in Borno, a northeastern Nigerian state that has seen far more than its share of jihad terrorism. Punch reported that on April 9-10 attacks took place on communities in several towns, as well as on a teachers’ training college and a group of students traveling to their matriculation exams. Boko Haram seemed determined to show that ‘western education is forbidden.’

Rarer was Monday’s attack on Abuja’s Nyanya Mass Transit Park – demonstrating the terrorists’ brazenness, operating in the country’s capital, as well as the northern and middle state belts to which they have already laid claim. The blast destroyed 16 high-capacity buses and damaged another 24, as well as affecting smaller vehicles, a police spokesman told Reuters. Many of the buses were loaded with commuters, so the attack left a hellish scene of charred bodies, body parts, and twisted metal. In Tuesday’s report, Punch told of an eyewitness who said that the attack was carried out by four insurgents in a Volkswagen Golf.

According to NAN, many of the commuters in this transit point for the satellite communities of the Federal Capital Territory surrounding Abuja were on their way to work and their businesses. But Nigerian attorney and human rights activist Emmanuel Ogebe pointed out that this attack took place on the first day of Holy Week in a country in which Easter is a major holiday.

‘Abuja is emptying out as people travel to their home states for the long holiday,’ said Ogebe. He believes the bus station was targeted deliberately on the week of Easter. This would be no surprise, as a majority of Islamist attacks in Nigeria target Christians, Christian holidays (holy days), and have occurred at churches and Christian schools and universities. Focusing on one of the most obvious nations where Christians are regularly targeted — Egypt’s Coptic Christians — one finds that the ‘mob’ is the most visible and obvious culprit.  One Copt accused of some transgression against Muslim sensibilities — from having relations with a Muslim woman, to ruining a Muslim man’s shirt — is often enough to prompt Muslim mobs to destroy entire Christian villages and their churches.

Recently, for example, after her cross identified Mary Sameh George as a Christian, a pro-Muslim Brotherhood mob attacked, beat, and slaughtered her.

However, a recent Arabic op-ed titled ‘Find the True Killer of Mary‘ looks beyond the mob to identify the true persecutor of Christians in Egypt. According to it:

Those who killed the young and vulnerable Mary Sameh George, for hanging a cross in her car, are not criminals, but rather wretches who follow those who legalized for them murder, lynching, dismemberment, and the stripping bare of young Christian girls—without every saying “kill.”  [Islamic cleric] Yassir Burhami and his colleagues who announce their hate for Christians throughout satellite channels and in mosques—claiming that hatred of Christians is synonymous with love for God—they are the true killers who need to be tried and prosecuted…  The slayers of Mary Sameh are simply a wretched mob, with the body of a bull but the brain of a worm.  It’s not the puppets on the string who need punishing, but rather the mastermind who moves the puppets with his bloody fingers behind closed curtains that needs punishing.

One fact certainly validates this Arabic op-ed’s assertions: the overwhelming majority of attacks on Christians in Egypt and other Muslim nations — including the slaughter of Mary Sameh George — occur on Friday, the one day of the week that Muslims congregate in mosques for communal prayers and to hear sermons.

The significance of this fact can easily be understood by analogy: what if Christians were especially and consistently violent to non-Christian minorities on Sunday — right after they got out of church?  What would that say about what goes on in Christian churches?
