Syria: Christian Survivor Says Muslims Are Beheading Hundreds, Feeding Bodies To Dogs

If it was good for the “prophet” of Islam to personally behead hundreds, then all good Islamists are encouraged to mimic his perfect example  …

Shoebat – “Shoebat.com has just received a message from our Middle East contact Sister Hatune Dogan, an Eastern Orthodox nun we partnered with to rescue Christians in Syria and Iraq. In this correspondence she has described horrific details on what Muslims are currently committing against Christians, which she has received from surviving Christians who have fled the torrent of violence in Syria.

While ttending to persecuted Christians from Syria Sister Dogan received a story from one Christian survivor named Abd Alluhud, who has become psychologically ruined from seeing such cruelty, in which Muslims beheaded hundreds of victims, and left their corpses to be consumed by dogs. She wrote to us:

The story of the man Abd Alluhud is etched in my mind. He is now locked up in a room. He was so traumatized by what he’d seed that he broke his hand by striking out in emotional pain.

Alluhud is a wreck. He seems to only get worse. He has three daughters and a little son of about five years. The daughters are older, but not older than 15 years. His wife was a teacher. He owned much land near Aleppo in Syria. The family has seen a lot of suffering and persecution, and much misery. He reported that hundreds of people killed by fanatics; they were beheaded. Dogs would feed on the victims. Again and again he imagines what he and his children had to witness. The horror is deeply imprinted on his soul. Now he lives in southeastern Turkey.

As Shoebat.com has written in a previous article, Alluhud, from seeing such immense amounts of slaughter and decapitations, has become so emotionally unstable that he continued to slam his hand until it was injured:

Sister Dogan, in her trip in Turkey, also met a women who extremely disturbed, because [her] husband was butchered by Muslims. Why? Simply for the reason that he was wearing a Cross:

There is another family I visited that was marked by misfortune. The father was killed because he was wearing a cross around his neck. His wife, who told me about it, suffers tremendously.

Nigeria: Christian Woman Held Captive By Islamists Escapes, ‘They Were Slitting People’s Throats’

By Will Ross, BBC – “Two women who were abducted by Boko Haram in north-eastern Nigeria have given a rare account of life as captives of the Islamist militants.

‘They asked me if I am Christian or Muslim. I said I am Christian,’ said 23-year-old Liatu, as she recalled her ordeal in the hands of Boko Haram.

‘On the 11th day [in captivity], they brought a man to me and said that he liked me and I should convert to Islam so that he can marry me.’

She was stopped at a roadblock set up last year by the Islamist militant group. She said any Muslims employed by the government were killed on the spot, as Boko Haram had earlier warned them to leave their work.

She was taken to the insurgents’ base in Borno state’s Sambisa forest, where the bloodshed continued.

‘They were slitting people’s throats with knives. Both women and men were killed – especially the men who didn’t agree to fight for them,’ she said.

“Those that tried to escape were shot but they hardly ever used their guns to kill. They usually used knives. About 50 people were killed right in front of me.” …

Liatu spent 15 days in captivity and refused to eat anything. Then, after being told about the proposed marriage, she made an extremely risky escape…

Nineteen-year-old Janet was held for three months. She says that Boko Haram tried to turn her into a killer.

‘They went to Gwoza and brought five people to the camp. They started slaughtering them in front of me. Then they ordered me to slit one of their throats. I refused. I told them I couldn’t do it. Then the wife of the leader of the group killed him instead.'” Read more.

Syria: At Least 13 Beheaded After Christian Town Attacked By Islamist Rebels

Were they beheaded for refusing to convert to Islam? Most likely. Here’s an update on this story …

Barnabas Fund – “The population of a Christian town in north-west Syria was forced to flee when it was besieged by Islamist rebels; 80 people were killed, at least 13 of whom were beheaded, churches desecrated and homes looted.

Militants from the al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front, Sham al-Islam and Ansar al-Sham attacked Kessab on the Turkish border early on Friday 21 March.

Around 3,000 Armenian Christian residents fled for their lives, taking refuge in neighbouring Latakia and Bassit. Some are staying with relatives and friends, but the rest are sheltering in over-crowded church buildings.

A dozen or so families with members too elderly to leave remained in Kessab and were subsequently taken hostage.

Barnabas Aid partners in Syria have been helping the displaced Christian families, who fled empty-handed. We are providing food, clothing, hygiene materials and other essentials.

Following the Islamist takeover of Kessab, a strategically important town, the Syrian army launched a counter-offensive in an effort to regain control of the territory, and fighting has continued. Kessab was the last border crossing with Turkey still in Syrian government hands. It had previously been relatively peaceful and was full of refugees who had fled violence in other parts of Syria.” Read more.

Turkey’s New Jihad Against Christian Armenians

By Raymond Ibrahim, FrontPage Mag – “Far from being repentant of the Armenian Genocide, Turkey, under the leadership of Prime Minister Erdogan, is again targeting Armenians; is again causing their death and dislocation.

In the early morning hours of March 21, al-Qaeda linked Islamic jihadis crossed into Syrian territory from the Turkish border and launched a jihad on the Christian/Armenian town of Kessab. Among other thing, ‘Snipers targeted the civilian population and launched mortar attacks on the town and the surrounding villages.’  Reportedly eighty people were killed.

The jihadis later made a video touring the devastated town; no translation is needed, as the main phrase shouted throughout is Islam’s triumphant war cry, ‘Allahu Akbar’ (or, according to Sen. John McCain’s translation, ‘thank God’).

Eyewitnesses say the jihadis crossed the Turkish border into Syria, ‘openly passing through Turkish military barracks. According to Turkish media reports, the attackers carried their injured back to Turkey for treatment in the town of Yayladagi.’

About two-thousand Armenians were evacuated to safer areas in neighboring Basit and Latakia. Several of these families are currently living inside the churches of these towns. Ten to fifteen families with relations too elderly to flee remained in Kessab, their fate currently unknown.” Read more.

By Zaheer Babar, Associated Pres – “A court convicted a Pakistani Christian man and sentenced him to death Thursday in a blasphemy case that sparked a riot last year in the eastern city of Lahore, according to his lawyer.

Naeem Shakir, the lawyer for Sawan Masih, said a judge announced the verdict during a hearing at the jail where the trial has been held out of fears that Masih might be attacked on his way to court. Shakir said he would appeal.

Although Pakistan has never executed anybody under the law, crowds angered over blasphemy accusations have been known to take the law into their own hands and kill those they suspect of violating it. Once an accusation is made it is extremely difficult to reverse, in part because law enforcement personnel do not want to appear to be going easy on suspects.

Such vigilantism has created a climate of fear, forcing frightened judges into holding court sessions inside jails and keeping witnesses from coming to the defense of those on trial.

Many human rights activists say the blasphemy law, which allows for punishment of life in prison or death, is misused as a way to target people for personal gain or revenge.

The incident that led to Thursday’s conviction began March 7 last year when a young Muslim man accused Masih of maligning the Prophet Muhammad. Police arrested Masih, but the next day a mob ransacked the neighborhood where he and other Christians live, setting fire to homes and destroying household possessions.

Fearing for their safety, hundreds of Christian families fled the area overnight ahead of the riots.” Read more.

Why The Media Doesn’t Cover Jihadist Attacks On Middle East Christians

Reporting the truth of the plight of Christians living all across the Muslim world would destroy the politically correct myth that Islam is a “peaceful” religion and that extremist violence is only practiced by a “tiny minority” of Muslims. Reality is an inconvenient truth for Western Islamists and their leftist enablers. “In 1900, 20% of the Middle East was Christian. Today, less than 2% is” …

The United Nations, Western governments, media, universities, and talking heads everywhere insist that Palestinians are suffering tremendous abuses from the state of Israel.  Conversely, the greatest human rights tragedy of our time — radical Muslim persecution of Christians, including in Palestinian controlled areas — is devotedly ignored.

The facts speak for themselves. Reliable estimates indicate that anywhere from 100-200 million Christians are persecuted every year; one Christian is martyred every five minutes. Approximately 85% of this persecution occurs in Muslim majority nations. In 1900, 20% of the Middle East was Christian. Today, less than 2% is.

In one week in Egypt alone, where my Christian family emigrated, the Muslim Brotherhood launched akristallnacht—attacking, destroying, and/or torching some 82 Christian churches (some of which were built in the 5th century, when Egypt was still a Christian-majority nation before the Islamic conquests).  Al-Qaeda’s black flag has been raised atop churches.  Christians — including priests, women and children — have been attacked, beheaded, and killed.

Nor is such persecution of Christians limited to Egypt.   From Morocco in the west to Indonesia in the east and from Central Asia to the north to sub-Saharan Africa to the south; across thousands of miles of lands inhabited by peoples who do not share the same races, languages, cultures, and/or socio-economic conditions, millions of Christians are being persecuted and in the same exact patterns.

Muslim converts to Christianity and Christian evangelists are attacked, imprisoned, and sometimes beheaded; countless churches across the Islamic world are being banned or bombed; Christian women and children are being abducted, enslaved, raped, and/or forced to renounce their faith.

Far from helping these Christian victims, U.S. policies are actually exacerbating their sufferings.  Whether in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, or Syria, and under the guise of the U.S.-supported ‘Arab Spring,’ things have gotten dramatically worse for Christians.  Indeed, during a recent U.S. congressional hearing, it was revealed that thousands of traumatized Syrian Christians — who, like Iraqi Christians before them are undergoing a mass exodus from their homeland — were asking ‘Why is America at war with us?’

The answer is that very few Americans have any clue concerning what is happening to their coreligionists.

Syria: Islamists Are Desecrating Churches And Pillaging Christian Houses, Thousands Forced To Flee

The Armenian Weekly – “A delegation of priest from the Catholicosate of Cilicia who had visited Latakia to assess the needs of Kessab Armenians and express solidarity returned to Antelias after the Sunday Badarak.

According to the delegation, the local Armenian community, the International Red Cross, and the Red Crescent are providing assistance to those who have sought refuge in the city. An estimated 2,000 Kessab Armenians are currently in Latakia.

‘Many Armenian families are staying with relatives and friends, while others have sought refuge in the Armenian Church and the church’s hall,’ said Syrian Armenian community activist Nerses Sarkissian during a phone interview with Weekly editor Khatchig Mouradian.

‘The Aleppo Armenian Prelacy as well as the Red Crescent are providing relief and assistance to these families in Latakia,’ Sarkissian added.

Extremist fighters engage in robbery and desecration

The fighters, mostly from the extremist Nusra Front, who have entered Kessab are desecrating churches, pillaging houses, and destroying government buildings, Sarkissian told the Weekly. A few Syrian Armenians have been unable to leave Kessab, and their fate is unclear, he added.

Sarkissian underlined that the fighters came from the Turkish side of the border and are receiving support from the Turkish military. He noted that the injured among them are being transported back to Turkey to receive medical attention…

Perched in the northwestern corner of Syria, near the border with Turkey, Kessab had, until very recently, evaded major battles between the army and rebels. Many Syrians had taken refuge there because of the relative calm in the area over the past three years.” Read more.

Kenya: 4 Dead, 17 Wounded After ‘Gunmen’ Storm Church, Spray Congregation With Bullets

AFP – “Attackers shot dead four worshippers on Sunday when they burst into a church service near the Kenyan port city of Mombasa, spraying the congregation with bullets, police said.

The attack, which also left about 17 people wounded, came amid heightened warnings of a threat of Islamist violence in Kenya and despite boosted security in major cities including Mombasa.

‘They were shot by gunmen who shot indiscriminately at worshippers and then fled,’ said local police chief Robert Mureithi, from the Likoni district just south of Mombasa.

Two people were killed instantly, while two more later died of their injuries, the Red Cross said, adding that 17 people had been taken to hospital.

Kenya’s National Disaster Operation Centre said there had been ‘mass casualties’ in the attack on an evangelical church.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but Kenya has been hit by a series of attacks since sending troops into southern Somalia in October 2011 to battle the Al Qaida-linked Al Shabab insurgents.

Kenyan troops, which have since joined the African Union force in Somalia, are taking part in a fresh offensive launched this month against Al Shabab bases.

Kenya and Uganda, another key contributor of troops to the AU force, have both warned of the threat of fresh Al Shabab attacks in their own countries.

The attack on the church comes six months after Al Shabab commandos carried out the September massacre in Nairobi’s Westgate mall in which at least 67 people were killed.

The group said the carnage was retribution for Kenya’s military role in Somalia.

The latest attack also comes just days after police arrested two men with a vehicle stashed full of large quantities of powerful explosives prepared in pipe bombs, which experts said would have been strong enough to bring down a major building.” Read more.

A series of bomb blasts in Tanzania’s island of Zanzibar is stoking fears that an Islamist breakaway movement is increasingly targeting Christians.

Since 2010, the cases have been on the increase and Christians and their leaders — many of them originally from mainland Tanzania — say they are anxious.

In the latest attack on Feb. 24, assailants exploded a homemade bomb near the gate of St. Monica Anglican Cathedral, slightly damaging the church wall and a car park. Anglican bishop Michael Hafidh of Zanzibar told World Watch Monitor at the time he did not know who had planned and executed the attack.

Also Feb. 24, a similar explosive went off at the Mercury restaurant, a popular hangout for western tourists. A day earlier, four people were injured when a bomb was thrown into the Assemblies of God Church in the Founi area of the island. On Feb. 15, in the Tomondo area of the Island, a home-made bomb was thrown at the door of the Adventist Church during a worship service.

Hafidh said although this is not the first time the churches had been targeted, the recent series of explosions has left Christians feeling more scared. Read more…

Somalia: Muslims Publicly Behead Christian Mother In Front Of Her Screaming Children

Morning Star News – “Islamic extremists from the rebel Al Shabaab militia last week publicly beheaded a mother of two girls and her cousin in southeastern Somalia after discovering they were Christians, sources said.

In the port town of Barawa in the Lower Shebelle Region, the extremists on March 4 called residents to the town center to witness the executions of the 41-year-old mother, Sadia Ali Omar, and her 35-year-old cousin, Osman Mohamoud Moge, the sources said.

Before killing them, an Al Shabaab militant announced, ‘We know these two people are Christians who recently came back from Kenya – we want to wipe out any underground Christian living inside of mujahidin [jihadists’] area,’ according to an area resident whose name is undisclosed for security reasons.

Omar’s daughters, ages 8 and 15, were witness to the slaughter, sources said, with the younger girl screaming and shouting for someone to save her mother. A friend helped the girls, whose names are withheld, to relocate to another area.

‘We are afraid that the Al Shabaab might continue monitoring these two children and eventually kill them just like their mother,’ the area resident said.

The militants from Al Shabaab – which has vowed to rid the country of the Christian fellowships, which meet secretly as leaving Islam in Somalia is punishable by death – became suspicious of Omar and Moge due to their irregular attendance at Friday mosque prayers, sources said.” Read more.

Thousands have been killed in recent years in competition for land and water between mainly Muslim Fulani herdsmen and Christian farmers across Nigeria’s Middle Belt. More than 100 people were killed in similar attacks in neighboring Katsina state last week.

Chenshyi village chief Nuhu Moses said Sunday that gunmen killed more than 50 people including the pastor’s wife and children. He said the entire village in the southern part of Kaduna state was destroyed.

Local government acting chairman Daniel Anyip said about 100 people were killed in attacks on three villages Friday night.

Muslim Father Arrested After Daughter Who Converted To Christiany Is Attacked, Killed Inside Church

Update: Father arrested for killing daughter over Christianity conversion …

OsunDefender – “The Oyo State Police command has arrested a suspect in connection with the killing of his daughter, Miss Kausara Isiaka for allegedly converting to Christianity.

The suspect was alleged by Reverend Daniel Oladimeji, one of the four persons he attacked with machete that he suspected him to be the brain behind the attack.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Olabisi Ilobanafor, one Mary Oladimeji, of Calvary Church, Ayekale, Ibadan reported the incident at the station at about 02:00 hours of February 26th 2014.

Though, the police are yet to determine his culpability or otherwise, the suspect allegedly sneaked into the church premises and inflicted machete cuts on the four persons.

The victims’ names, according to the police, are Mary, Kausara Isiaka, Aanu and the pastor of the church.
It was further gathered that the father of the deceased who is a Muslim, allegedly pleaded severally with his daughter and threatened her to review her decision.

The police stated that the girl had to take refuge in the church.

But, on that fateful day, a yet-to-be identified attacker broke in and inflicted machete injuries on the victims while they were sleeping.

Out of the four victims, the police confirmed that her injuries were more severe than others.

Mary, the daughter of the suspect and other victims were rushed to Mobolaji Hospital, Oremeji, Ibadan where she later died.” Read more.
