By Tom Parfitt, Daily Express – “The Assyrian community in Gothenburg, Sweden are being tormented by the threats and police have now launched a probe.

Markus Samuelsson was shocked after radicals covered his restaurant in the city with graffiti this week.

They daubed the terror group’s logo alongside the disturbing phrases ‘convert and die’ and ‘the caliphate is here’ over the walls on Tuesday.

The Arabic letter for ‘N’ – which has been used to identify Christians and drive them out of their homes by ISIS fighters – was also painted on the restaurant.

Samuelsson, one of the city’s 3,000 Assyrian Christians, said: ‘I felt a sudden chill down my spine. It’s terribly painful, we feel threatened.’

Gothenburg – in the south-west of the country – is thought to be a hotbed for jihadist recruiting, according to Breitbart London.

At least 150 people are thought to have left the city, dubbed the ‘Swedish centre for jihadists’, to join ISIS.

And when Swedes return to their homeland after fighting in Syria and Iraq, they are reportedly ‘coddled with therapy’ and ‘fast-tracked to jobs ahead of native Swedes’.” Read more.

By Raymond Ibrahim, Frontpage Mag – “During a recent televised interview with Grand Ayatollah Ahmad al-Baghdadi, the leading Shia cleric of Iraq made clear why Islam and the rest of the world can never peacefully coexist.

First he spent some time discussing ‘defensive jihad,’ saying that all capable Muslims are obligated to fight for the ‘liberation’ of ‘occupied’ territory, for instance, Israel (see here for a list of European countries also deemed ‘occupied’ in the eyes of Islam).

He then explained ‘offensive jihad,’ Islam’s primary bloodline, which forged what we now call the ‘Muslim world’ over the centuries.

According to the ayatollah, when they can — when circumstance permits it, when they are strong enough — Muslims are obligated to go on the offensive and conquer non-Muslims (a fact to be kept in mind as millions of Muslim ‘refugees’ flood the West).

The Muslim cleric repeatedly yelled at the secularized host who kept interrupting him and protesting that Islam cannot teach such intolerance.  At one point, he burst out: ‘I am the scholar of Islam [al-faqih].  You are just a journalist.  Listen to me!’

Expounded Al-Baghdadi:

If they are people of the book [Jews and Christians] we demand of them the jizya — and if they refuse, then we fight them.  That is if he is Christian. He has three choices: either convert to Islam, or, if he refuses and wishes to remain Christian, then pay the jizya [and live according to dhimmi rules].

But if they still refuse — then we fight them, and we abduct their women, and destroy their churches—this is Islam!… Come on, learn what Islam is, are you even a Muslim?!

As for the polytheists [Hindus, Buddhists, etc.] we allow them to choose between Islam and war!  This is not the opinion of Ahmad al-Husseini al-Baghdadi, but the opinion of all five schools of jurisprudence [four Sunni and one Shia].

Towards the end of the interview, because the clean-shaven, suit-and-tie-wearing host kept protesting that this cannot be Islam, the ayatollah burst out, pointing at him with contempt and saying, ‘Who are you? You’re going to tell me what to believe?  This is the word of Allah!’

Indeed.  Not only is it the word of Islam’s deity, but it is the fundamental, insurmountable obstacle for peace between Muslims and non-Muslims. Al-Baghdadi — and the countless other Muslim clerics, Sunni and Shia, that hold these views — are not ‘radicals.’  For offensive jihad is no less codified than, say, Islam’s Five Pillar …” Read more.

As the article below rightly explains, a Christian genocide is “unfolding across the world” and “time is running short” for the West to do something concrete about it. But time isn’t simply running short for the West in the face of an Allah-sanctioned genocide of Christians at the hands of the Islamic world. It’s also running short for the Islamic world itself to repent …

This is because the world is becoming increasingly numb to a drastic escalation in the persecution of Christians – and other religious minorities — all over North Africa and the Middle East.

Christian pastors are unjustly imprisoned in the Sudan and in Iran, Christian converts have been executed by Islamic extremists in more than a dozen countries, hundreds of churches and Christian homes have been burned across Africa and in the United States college students in Oregon were allegedly targeted for their profession of faith in Jesus Christ by Christopher Harper-Mercer.

In the recently released ISIS execution video, the three Assyrians are predictably crouched in orange jumpsuits as they are forced to state their name and their Christian faith before they are shot in the back of the head.

Before their execution they were literally forced to say ‘I am a Christian.’

They were killed for their faith, yet there remains a prevailing sense of denial in Washington that Christians are particularly threatened. In fact, there has been dismal – if not, zero — attempts by the United States government to provide special treatment to Syrian and Iraqi Christians who are endangered by the threat of total extinction.

As opposed to joining with the voices of international leaders – like Pope Francis — in calling this a Christian ‘genocide,’ our president has again and again avoided even referencing the particular threat being endured by these ancient Christian communities, if not denying it.” Read more.

By Leah Marieann Klett, The Gospel Herald – “Twelve Christians have been brutally executed by the Islamic State, including the 12-year-old son of a Syrian ministry team leader who had planted nine churches, because they refused to renounce the name of Jesus Christ and embrace Islam. The martyrs were faithful to the very end; right before one woman was beheaded by the terror group, she appeared to be smiling slightly as she said, ‘Jesus!’

According to Christian Aid Mission, a humanitarian group which assists indigenous Christian workers in their native countries, the horrific murders took place on August 28 in an unnamed village outside Aleppo, Syria.

‘In front of the team leader and relatives in the crowd, the Islamic extremists cut off the fingertips of the boy and severely beat him, telling his father they would stop the torture only if he, the father, returned to Islam,’ Christian Aid revealed, according to a report from Morning Star News. ‘When the team leader refused, relatives said, the ISIS militants also tortured and beat him and the two other ministry workers. The three men and the boy then met their deaths in crucifixion.’

They were killed for refusing to return to Islam after embracing Christianity, as were the other eight aid workers, including two women, according to Christian Aid. The eight were taken to a separate site in the village and asked if they would return to Islam. However, after they refused to renounce Christ, the women, ages 29 and 33, were raped before the crowd summoned to watch, and then all eight were beheaded.

They prayed as they knelt before the Islamic State militants, according to the ministry leader Christian Aid assists, who spoke with relatives and villagers while visiting the site. ‘Villagers said some were praying in the name of Jesus, others said some were praying the Lord’s Prayer, and others said some of them lifted their heads to commend their spirits to Jesus,’ the ministry director told Christian Aid. ‘One of the women looked up and seemed to be almost smiling as she said, ‘Jesus!”

In a manner reflective of Christ’s crucifixion, the bodies of those killed were then hung on crosses for display.” Read more.

How Revelation’s Predictive Biblical Prophecy Foresaw Islamic Teachings – “According to the Qur’an in suras 3:31, 4:80 and 48:10, to follow the ‘prophet’ Mohammed is to follow and worship Allah. What a Mesopotamia. As Robert Spencer points out in the interview below, the Islamic State has global aspirations and views everything happening today “as the titanic struggle between good and evil. They see this coming down to an ‘Armageddon’ battle in Dabiq, in northern Syria.” According to Islamic “prophecy” Dabiq is believed to be the site of the “great battle” between Muslims and Christians. “They see that actually taking place within the next 10 years and they’re working toward it … they’re going to kill millions of people if they can in trying to get to that point.” Of course, there is another great battle that Muslims believe they must soon fight as well, one that involves the massacre of Jews and the “liberation” of Jerusalem. If the “Islamic State” itself is too preoccupied to join the fight against Jerusalem or their ability to fight is diminished between now and then, there are plenty of others who are already planning to enter the fray …

For the glory of Allah. Islam teaches that when their “Muslim Jesus” returns to earth he will destroy the cross along with Christianity. More than ever, an increasing number of Islamists all across the world are seemingly itching to give him a head start …

Hadith, AbuHurayrah Book 37, Number 4310, “Jesus … will descent (to the earth)… He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross [destroy Christianity], kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam.”

Qur’an Sura 9:30, “… the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths … may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!”

Zechariah 5:3a, 8a, ”… This is the curse [אָלָה – “alah”] that goes out over the face of the whole earth … This is Wickedness …”

By Tom Allard, The Sydney Morning Herald – “Indonesian fighters who have joined Islamic State in Syria are using social media to encourage fellow jihadists back home to murder Christians by any means necessary.

There are some 23 million Christians in Indonesia, as well as large numbers of tourists – including many Australians – visiting places such as Bali who are also followers of the faith and could be targets of such ‘lone wolf’ attacks.

In September last year, IS spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani urged supporters to kill ‘non-believers’ in response to US-led air strikes against its forces.

Although there have been a spate of attacks – and attempted attacks – apparently inspired by the call to arms, it is yet to happen in Indonesia.

But one Indonesian fighter in Syria – who goes by the nom de guerre Abu Karimah Indonesi – has urged other radical Islamists to do the same.

In an exchange with a fellow jihadist apparently frustrated by his inability to travel to Syria, Abu Karimah gives advice on ‘jihad made easy’.

Asked by an Indonesian-based jihadist if weapons are needed, he replies: ‘Our leader makes jihad easy for you. Kill any salibis you can find. Salibis can be easily found.’

Salibis is a favoured word of jihadists to denote ‘followers of the cross’, or Christians.

‘Process your target. The bigger the better. But if it’s difficult, it’s more important in jihad to simplify and do it sooner,’ the instructions continue.

‘You can use anything. For example, a car. Video the process … run them over while passing.’

The call to film the murder also mimics advice by IS spokesman Adnani given in September.

The urging of the random, opportunistic and low-tech attacks comes as Indonesia grapples with a surge of its citizens pledging allegiance to IS, which has yet to be outlawed in the country.” Read more.

INN – “The Islamic State (ISIS) group has abducted 230 civilians, including at least 60 Christians, in a central Syrian town hours after it captured it, a monitoring group said on Friday.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the civilians were taken on Thursday in the town of Al-Qaryatain, which ISIS jihadists had captured late Wednesday.

‘Daesh kidnapped at least 230 people, including at least 60 Christians, during a sweep through Al-Qaryatain,’ Observatory chief Rami Abdel Rahman said, using another name for ISIS.

Many of the Christians had fled from Aleppo province, in Syria’s north, to seek refuge in Al-Qaryatain.

He said those abducted were wanted by ISIS for ‘collaborating with the regime,’ and their names were on a list used by the jihadists as they swept through the town.

Families who tried to flee or hide were tracked down and taken by the jihadists, he said.

Al-Qaryatain lies at the crossroads between ISIS territory in the eastern countryside of Homs and areas further west in the Qalamun area.

It had a pre-war population of 18,000, including Sunni Muslims and around 2,000 Syriac Catholics and Orthodox Christians.

According to a Syrian Christian who lives in Damascus but is originally from Al-Qaryatain, the town’s Christian population has dropped to only 300.” Read more.
