Macedonia: Thousands Of Muslim Demonstrators In Skopje Demand ‘Death To Christians’

05/27/2012 1 comment

Christians in Macedonia are murdered by Muslims, the Islamic community says nothing. The Muslims responsible for the murders are arrested, the Islamic community organizes mass demonstrations calling for jihad and the release of their “brothers” …

Qur’an Sura 3:151, 4:144, 5:17, 30:45, 4:89, “… cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers … O ye who believe! Take not for friends unbelievers … They indeed have disbelieved who say: Lo! [God] is the Messiah, son of Mary … [Allah] does not love the unbelievers … seize them and slay them wherever ye find them …”

“Back in March, PI reported about the numerous outbreaks of violence between the Muslim-Albanian minority and the non-Muslim-Slavic majority in Macedonia. Currently, the situation appears to be heightening once again after a series of murders of Christians. As Austrian news magazine ‘Unzensuriert’ (‘Uncensored’) reports, in the Macedonian capital city of Skopje, slogans like ‘Allahu akbar,’ ‘Death to Christians,’ and ‘Jihad’ were shouted by several thousand Moslems in a demonstration parade after the traditional Friday prayers. The special thing about this is: Skopje is the home of the German ‘exemplary’ imam Bajrambejamin Idriz. His father has preached lifelong as an imam at the Jaja Pascha mosque from which the current aggressive demonstrations start…

‘Unzensuriert’ describes executions of Christians, with seeming confidence that they were carried out by Moslems:

On April 12th, the eve of the highest Orthodox holiday, Good Friday, the bodies of five ethnic Macedonians were discovered in a pond in a northeastern suburb of Skopje. The bodies of four men aged around 20 years lay very neatly arranged next to each other and showed evidence of shots in the front and behind – an unavoidable indication of an organized execution. The fifth victim, a man around 45 years, who was an apparent witness of the incident lay a little farther away beside them.

Even though the evidence for the offenses by three arrested Moslems is ‘earth moving’ according to the Macedonian interior ministry, masses of Moslems demonstrated against the arrest of their fellow believers.” Read more.

Flashback: Macedonian Police Arrest 20 Radical Islamists In Deaths Of Five Christian Fishermen – “Police arrested 20 radical Islamists for the murder of five ethnic Macedonian fishermen in an early morning raid Tuesday, authorities said. The killing last month fueled tension in the tiny Balkan country between majority Macedonians and the mostly Muslim Albanian minority… All of the suspects had fought in Afghanistan and Pakistan, she said. The suspects were followers ‘of radical Islam, which is generally a danger for Christianity,’ she said. ‘They all have the capacity to commit such a horrible act.’” Read more.

Nigeria: Silent Killings Of Christians Thriving In The North, ‘Door To Door, Shop To Shop, Church To Church’

05/27/2012 6 comments

The persecution that I’ve been sharing from the Muslim world is only a fraction of what is reported, and what is reported is only a fraction of what is occurring …

BY OKON BASSEY AND JOHN SHIKLAM – “National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has raised the alarm over silent and unreported killings of Christians in the North.

This however came on a day pandemonium broke out at the busy Ahmadu Bello Way in Kaduna metropolis following a bomb scare, which made residents and traders along the area scamper for safety.

Oritsejafor who called on leaders of all the blocks of CAN across the nation to organise prayers and fasting of all denominations in the country to overcome its security challenges due to the activity of the Boko Haran sect, said it was imperative for Christians to be security conscious at all times.

Consequently, he directed that June 16 of every year should be observed as a special day in the Christian calendar for prayer and fasting for the country.

The CAN President who made the call in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, during an extra-ordinary national council meeting of CAN, specifically, disclosed that a Pastor in Maiduguri, Borno State capital, contacted him complaining that the ‘killing is going on from door to door.’

‘We owe our brother in the North prayers and solidarity. How can I keep quite when my people are killed every day? We cannot fold our hands; Nigeria belongs to all of us. We believe this country will change. I got a text message by 6 a.m. yesterday (Tuesday) from a Pastor in Maiduguri, he said my President, please don’t stop praying for us, the killing is going from door to door, shop to shop, church to church.

‘But these things are no longer heard on television. Nobody talks about it. It is only when police station is burnt or bomb explosion that catches people’s attention. My President people are dying everyday, don’t stop praying for us,’ he said.

Oritsejafor, in an emotion laden voice said: ‘Prayer is the key to opening all doors and shutting the door on Boko Haram. In fact I want to say that we remember the June 16, as a special day of prayer and fasting and many more days for prayers and fasting for this country. But definitely, the June 16 is one day that we will cry to God for our great nation.'” Read more.

Flashback: ‘Bloody’: Christian Persecution is ‘Coursing Through Muslim-Majority Nations from One End of the Globe to the Other’ – “We hear so often about Muslims as victims of abuse in the West and combatants in the Arab Spring’s fight against tyranny. It is a rising genocide that ought to provoke global alarm…” Read more.

Kuwait: Entire Christian Congregation Evicted, Islamist Parliament To Blame?

05/26/2012 Leave a comment

By Luiza Oleszczuk, Christian Post – “The eviction of a Christian congregation from a private villa used for worship gatherings for the past seven years has some observers speculating whether Kuwait’s Islamist politicians are beginning to actively target non-Muslim groups.

An American contractor for the U.S. Army in Kuwait, also a Christian, contacted The Christian Post in mid-April, saying that The Lighthouse Church (TLC) he attends was having difficulty renewing its lease. The man, who asked to remain anonymous for security reasons, said the lease was then suddenly terminated without explanation.

A villa church tied to the TLC congregation was later told by the landlord it had to pay an exorbitant fine each month to use a facility it had been renting, according to the Christian contractor. Church leaders reportedly decided not to argue and moved out.

Both congregations, affiliated with the National Evangelical Church in Kuwait, have found temporary meeting places, but leaders fear they will be unable to find permanent homes.

‘The question is whether there will be further problems with other community branches, and whether we will be able to find other locations,’ the contractor told CP. ‘It is strange to realize that I have just been the victim of religious persecution. I also realize that I have some fear for my personal safety here.’

The Christian contractor suggested that the rising Islamic tendencies in Kuwait’s policy might be to blame for the congregations’ alleged eviction.” Read more.

Pakistan: Enraged Muslim Cleric Warns Of ‘Consequences’ After Christian Pastor Quotes From The Qur’an

05/25/2012 1 comment

Qur’an Sura 8:12b, “… terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.”

Let the Qur’an Speak“, but not if you’re an infidel under Islamic rule. Only a select few within the Ummah have the power to give life to the image of the Beast that it may speak, and we’re seeing all too often the broad road of ruin that “Allah’s word” has left in its wake. Despite the increasing destruction, anyone who dares to repeat the “holy words of Allah” for any other reason than to empower them could be viewed as blaspheming his prophet, his “religion of peace” — indeed the very image of Allah himself — and be killed for it …

By Rana Tanveer – “LAHORE: A cleric in Sialkot district disrupted a Saturday mass, abused the pastor and is now threatening to register a blasphemy FIR against him for drawing upon verses from the Quran during his sermon.

Pastor Messiah George* had been invited by Data Zedka village Christians to give a sermon at the local church.

According to Arif Hameed*, a school teacher who arranged the pastor’s visit, Qari Muhammad Fazal* disrupted the mass around 11 pm, abusing the pastor and threatening to kill him. Fazal had objections to the pastor reading Quranic verses during his sermon. ‘He [Fazal] tried to get through to the pastor but we were able to help him escape,’ said Hameed.

Fazal called the police to the church but by the time the police reached the church, the pastor had fled. Police officials were able to ‘persuade the Qari’ to go home after assuring him that action will be taken against the pastor.

The next morning local Christians, said the school teacher, apologised to Fazal who is still insisting that the pastor ‘confess to his crime’, and publicly apologise for quoting the Quran. ‘Fazal has warned us that we will be responsible for the consequences,’ he said.” Read more.

Kashmir: Suspected Islamists Attempt To Burn Down Christian Church

05/25/2012 Leave a comment

By Nirmala Carvalho – “Srinagar (AsiaNews) – An ‘planned’ attack, with the clear goal of ‘scaring to death the Christian community. The chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir must act to ensure security for the faithful and places of worship’, says Sajan George, president of the Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC), reacting to AsiaNews to the arson attack on the Holy Family Catholic Church in Srinagar, two days ago. The main entrance was completely destroyed, but the timely intervention of a security guard prevented the fire from degenerating. Cameras captured two attacker who targeted the Church in the evening (20.30 hours the local, ed) their names are still unknown. All Christian communities in the valley of Kashmir have expressed solidarity with the Catholic Church.

The films show two men taking advantage of the temporary absence of the security guard. In those moments, the attackers threw petrol and other flammable material at the front door, then set it on fire. Fortunately, the guard came back in time to stop the fire to spreading: the entire building structure is made of wood.

Fr. Mathew Thomas, pastor of Holy Family, told AsiaNews: ‘What happened to us is very worrying. Watching the video, you understand that it is a premeditated attack, and that the two attackers were well aware of what happens in church…’

“What happened – said the president of the GCIC – is not an isolated case. I think the persecution suffered by Rev. CM Khanna over baptising young Muslims, or the couple arrested while at the market. With these gestures, the Muslim community is trying to intimidate the Christian minority. But there are not even 400 Christians in Srinagar: I appeal to Omar Abdullah, chief minister, a Muslim who studied in Christian institutions. He must protect the entire population of Srinagar, including minorities.’…” Source – AsiaNews.it.

MSNBC’s Submission: Don’t Expose Muslim Atrocities, It’ll Make Islam Look Bad

05/23/2012 Leave a comment

To understand how truly ridiculous such a mindset is, simply go back to 1944 and change out “Muslim” and “Islam” for “Nazi” and “Germany” …

By Colin Flaherty, WND – “MSNBC’s new golden girl was in a pickle: If someone sees a black person committing rape or domestic violence, should he report it if it makes black people look bad?

Or if Muslims see wife-beating, genital mutilation and childhood sexual abuse, should they just keep it to themselves, because saying something gives ammunition to the ‘Islamophobes’?

The questions appear to be simple. But they posed a challenge for the host of the new ‘Melissa Harris-Perry’ show when guest Mona Eltahawy talked about her Foreign Policy magazine cover story about abuse of women by men in the Muslim world.

Eltahawy speaks from experience: She had her arms broken in a demonstration in Egypt and was tortured and raped in an Egyptian jail cell.

So she seemed surprised to find Harris-Perry questioning her right to draw attention to ‘traditions’ such as involuntary female circumcision, wife-beating and childhood sexual abuse.

‘I start with a little bit of trepidation in this conversation,’ the host said, ‘in part because I know some of the critiques of this. The very idea that Western press, those that are not from these nations, who are not Muslim ourselves, who are not part of these traditions can look at your article and say ‘ahhh, look at how horrible those men, or those societies, or that religion is.’

‘And that is part of the reason why, for example, we have an under-reporting of rape and domestic violence in African American communities,’ Harris-Perry continued. ‘Because we know the violence enacted on black men by police, so we often don’t call. Right?’

Then the MSNBC host brought in Harvard professor Leila Ahmed, who questioned whether Eltahawy should have written the article at all. Not because it was false, but because it made Muslims look bad.” Read more.

Turkey: 40% Of Turks Do Not Want To Live Next To Christians, 58% Do Not Want A Jewish Neighbour

05/23/2012 1 comment

I hereby introduce to you the so-called “useful model for new Arab regimes

Times.am – “Today [the] head of the Armenian science department of ‘Noravanq’ educational foundation, expert on Turkey Alistakes Simavoryan and expert of the same foundation Vahram Hovyan met journalists and referred to the topic of religious intolerance against Christians in Turkey.

According to A. Simavoryan now 120,000 Christians live in Turkey now and 59,000 of them are Armenians. There are also sects in Turkey, for example, [Jehovah’s Witnesses] and Mormons. There are Armenians among them as well.

As the expert noted Turks are afraid that their country may become a Christian state, but according to him [this] is not possible. According to the speaker Turkey will lead anti-Christian politics in coming 30-40 years as well and it will be especially directed to the Armenian Community.

‘The social inquiries in Turkey show that 40% of the population does not want to live with [a] Christian neighbor. And 58% of [the population] does not want to live with [a Jewish] neighbor’, Simavoryan noted.

Expert also noted that [the] Armenian community is on the eve of vanishing in Turkey as a result of [Christian intolerance]. According to him [the] media is very active in this issue. ‘Every action by the Christian Church is presented as [a] negative action. Even the churches are presented as terrorist organizations’.

Expert of the ‘Noravanq’ foundation Vahram Hovyan announced … that the attacks and pressure against Christians are held both by the government and by the Turk extremists.” Source – Times.am.

‘Faulty And Unfair’: Egyptian Court Gives 12 Christians Life Sentences As It Acquits 8 Muslims Of Wrongdoing

05/21/2012 Leave a comment

Associated Press – “CAIRO – An Egyptian court sentenced 12 Christians to life in prison and acquitted eight Muslims on Monday in a case set off by religious tensions in the country’s south.

The Christians were found guilty of sowing public strife, the possession of illegal weapons and shooting dead two Muslims in April of last year in Minya province, about 220 kilometers (135 miles) south of Cairo.

The religious tension in Minya spilled over into violence last year when a Muslim microbus driver, angered by a speed bump outside a wealthy Christian man’s villa, got into a scuffle with security guards who beat him.

After returning to his village of Abu Qurqas that evening, he rounded up the villagers who then gathered outside an ultraconservative Islamist group’s main office there to protest his beating. According to rights researcher Ishak Ibrahim, the Christians nearby thought they were going to be attacked and shot from their rooftops down at the crowd, killing two and wounding two others.

For several days after, angry villagers torched dozens of Christian homes and stores.

The eight Muslims on trial in the same case had been charged with possession of illegal weapons and burning down the Christian-owned homes and stores after the shooting.

‘The fact that the Muslims were acquitted means that the attorney general’s investigation from the beginning was faulty and unfair because there was evidence to prove these men had burned Christian property,’ Ibrahim said.

The State Security Court, whose rulings cannot be appealed, handed down its sentence on Monday.” Read more.

Flashback: In the New Egypt, It’s ‘Punish the Victim and Crush the Innocent’ – “The Copts are the Christians of Egypt who represent about 12% of Egypt’s 84 million people. Over the past two weeks, a new and ugly campaign has been waged against Copts. At least eight Coptic families have been evicted from their homes in the al-Nahda village, Amereyah, near Alexandria, following unconfirmed accusations against a Copt of having an affair with a Muslim woman. Even though the accused quickly surrendered himself to the police for investigation, some 5000 village people, incited by Salafists and other Islamist groups, went on a violent rampage, collectively punishing the few Coptic families that live in the area, burning and ransacking their houses and their property. To make things worse, a ‘council’ dominated by these Islamists was convened, in the presence of and approval of the area’s chief of the police. This ‘council’ decided to evict eight families from the village.” Read more.

Yet Again: Hundreds Of Islamists In Indonesia Brutally Attack Christians Gathering For Sunday Worship

05/21/2012 3 comments

Matthew 10:22, “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.”

By Mathias Hariyadi, AsiaNews.it – “Jakarta (AsiaNews) – A mob of Islamic extremists struck again the prayer house of the Hkbp Filadelfia Protestant community (Protestant Christian Batak Church) in Bekasi, a suburb of Jakarta (West Java), despite the presence of the police deployed to defend Christian worship. The assault took place yesterday morning, while the faithful gathered for Sunday celebrations. On May 17, coinciding with the feast of the Ascension of Jesus, the place of worship was attacked, during which the fundamentalists hurled stones and bags full of urine against the faithful…

Local witnesses report that yesterday – on the arrival of the Faithful – a group of extremists blocked access to the ‘Church Street’, forcing people to abandon their motorcycles and cover the last part of the journey to the place of worship on foot . The police were deployed around the perimeter of the building, to allow the smooth running of the function, but a crowd of about 400 extremists ‘surrounded’ the area and started to rant against members of religious minority.

Among the fundamentalist group there were not only men but also women and children. After the threats came blows. The crowd began to throw water, sewage, used oil, mud, rotten eggs, sticks and other blunt objects. A ‘brutal’ attack aggravated by the presence of a swarm of ‘infiltrators’ who has passed the cordon of officers and attacked the faithful of the Christian community the ‘from within’.

Reached by AsiaNews, the Rev. Palti H. Panjaitan Sth – head of the Protestant community Hkbp Filadelfia – emphasized that ‘what scares us most is that the number of police was so small compared to the angry mob.’ He adds that ‘it is clear that they did not have the strength to repel the attackers’ and journalists, activists and lawyers who fight in defence of human rights can do nothing either.” Source – AsiaNews.it.

Obama Administration: Rising Christian Slaughter In Nigeria Is A Simple Misunderstanding

05/21/2012 Leave a comment

Romans 13:3, “Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.”

Unless your name is Barack Hussein Obama. Amazing, isn’t it, how someone who openly claims to be a “Christian” can effortlessly turn a blind eye to the root of this ongoing, deliberate and systematic persecution of Christians. When he said “the rise of the oceans” would begin to slow during his Presidency, he obviously wasn’t referring to the rising tide of Christian persecution …

By Steve Peacock, WND – “The violence in northern Nigeria is mistakenly viewed as a religious conflict rather than simply a tribal dispute over land, according to the Obama administration.

Despite the ongoing Muslim destruction of churches and the slaughter of Christians – including many murdered during worship services – the U.S. Agency for International Development claims that the misunderstandings make it difficult to administer aid programs.

USAID, therefore, has launched a program titled Project PEACE – an acronym for Programming Effectively Against Conflict and Extremism.

PEACE says it will hire contractors to help the agency analyze the ‘true’ causes of conflict and consequently provide more effective humanitarian and conflict-resolution assistance, according to planning documents that WND located via database research.

The cost of Obama’s new ‘knowledge generation, dissemination and management’ initiative is $600 million.

The unveiling of PEACE comes as the slaughter of Nigerian Christians is on the rise.” Read more.

The United States has been wary to intervene in matters affecting Christians in the Middle East for fear of validating terrorist narratives that the West is engaged in a new crusade against Islam. The result of this passive policy has been to allow Islamic extremists increasingly to dominate the debate, often with tragic consequences.” Read more.

Iranian Authorities Demand Christian Church To Hand Over Names Of All Its Members

05/20/2012 1 comment

As the Spirit of God moves in Iran, so too does the enemy …

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

Mohabat News – “In addition to the increased restrictions against Iranian Christian converts, the Ministry of Intelligence has now ordered the leaders of the central AOG church in Tehran to compile a list of the names and National ID numbers of its members and submit it to the security authorities.

According to Iranian Christian news agency, Mohabat News, reports from Tehran indicate that leaders of the central AOG church of Tehran asked their congregation in Sunday May 6 service to voluntarily present them with a list of their names and National ID numbers so that they submit the list to the officials. This reveals the identity of Christian converts and enables security authorities to record detailed information about the Christians.

It is clear that such a decision by the leaders of the AOG church, is a result of pressures the security authorities have been imposing on them. This seems to be a precautionary move by the security organizations to identify Christians and possibly use the information later to arrest Christian converts and watch the activities of the church even more closely, especially to prevent them from receiving new people. Such orders by security authorities make Christians’ relationship with their church riskier than ever.

This security move by Iranian authorities reveals that even after cancelling the Farsi services in some churches, they have not been successful in reducing the number of Christian converts and the trend by other people to attend the church. In recent months, organizers and operational groups of the Ministry of Intelligence ordered the last two churches in Tehran still holding Farsi services, to cancel these services. However, this has not stopped Christians from attending church services and illustrates the failure of all these repressive plans and threats which were designed to deal with spread of Christianity in Iran.” Read more.
