‘Hamas to kids: Shoot all Jews,’ by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik, Palestinian Media Watch, May 5, 2014:

Children were instructed to shoot “all the Jews,” on the weekly Hamas children’s program Tomorrow’s Pioneers this week. The young Hamas TV host Rawan talks to a young girl in the studio named Tulin, who tells her she wants to be a police officer when she grows up. The child host directs her to the conclusion that as a police officer she would shoot “all the Jews.”

Child host (Rawan): “Tulin, why do you want to be a police officer? Like who?”
Girl (Tulin): “Like my uncle.” …
Child host: “OK, so what does a policeman do?”
Nahul (adult in giant bee costume): “He catches thieves, and people who make trouble.”
Child host: “And shoots Jews. Right?”
Girl: “Yes.”
Child host: “You want to be like him?”
[Girl nods]
Child host: “Allah willing, when you grow up.”
Girl: “So that I can shoot Jews.”
[Nahul the bee claps his hands]
Child host: “All the Jews? All of them?”
Girl: “Yes.”

Earlier in the segment, which taught children about “neighbors’ rights”, Nahul, an adult in a giant bee costume, told children to take stones and “smash” “the Jewish neighbors.”

Just like the murderer Dalal Mughrabi who, in 1978, led an attack that resulted in the deaths of 37 Israeli civilians, including 12 children. According to PM Haniya, Muslims are “a people that yearn for death” just as we yearn for life. Flashback: PA Religious Official Publicly Calls For Genocide Of Jews As A Religious Islamic Goal – “The principal Palestinian Authority’s religious leader, the Mufti Muhammad Hussein, presented last week the killing of Jews by Muslims as a religious Islamic goal. Hussein made the comments at an event celebrating the 47th anniversary of the founding of the Fatah movement, which is headed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. He cited the Hadith (Islamic tradition attributed to Muhammad) saying that ‘the Hour [of Resurrection] will not come until you fight the Jews. The Jew will hide behind stones or trees. Then the stones or trees will call: ‘Oh Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.’” Read more.

According to Hamas, harvesting the skulls of Jews is an “act of worship” that draws the faithful Muslim closer to “Allah.” But the promotion of human rights evidently pushes their deity of death away. From vaccines to humanitarian aid to peaceful coexistence, anything that advocates the laying down of arms and the preservation of human life is intrinsically antithetical to the “holy” teachings of Islam …

Palestinian Children: Raised to Love Death

By Khaled Abu Toameh, Gatestone Institute – “Palestinian schoolchildren in the Gaza Strip have been denied the opportunity to learn about human rights after the Hamas government determined that such a subject ‘dangerously contravenes Palestinian and Islamic culture.’

Hamas’s announcement came in response to an attempt by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to include a course on human rights in schools run by the agency in the Gaza Strip.

The UNRWA bid drew strong condemnations from the Hamas government, whose representatives accused the international agency of seeking to ‘brainwash’ Palestinian children.

Mutasame al-Minawi, a senior official with the Hamas-run Ministry of Education, explained that the main reason why his government was opposed to the human rights subject being taught in Palestinian schools is because it ‘ignores the nakba [catastrophe] of the Palestinian people, seeks to scrap the right of return for Palestinian refugees [to Israel] and promotes the culture of peaceful resistance and submission as a way of restoring our rights.’

Al-Minawi said that UNRWA proposed two years ago to include in its school curriculum the subject of human rights. UNRWA was hoping, he added, that the subject would be taught to children from Grades 7-9.

According to the Hamas official, his government back then expressed reservations about some of the contents of the subject, prompting UNRWA to amend about 40% of the material.

But recently, UNRWA decided to go ahead with its plan to teach human rights in its schools in the Gaza Strip, ignoring warnings from the Hamas government, al-Minawi claimed. ‘UNRWA is acting as a state-within-a-state,’ he charged. ‘They need to know the limits of their power and that they are committed to the curriculum taught in areas under UNRWA’s jurisdiction.’

The Hamas official said that UNRWA’s human rights course was aimed at making Palestinian children develop ‘negative sentiments towards the armed resistance although it is legitimate for a people under occupation.’

What is also worrying Hamas is that UNRWA is seeking to teach Palestinian children about the disastrous repercussions of wars and violence by depicting a child burning a military uniform. ‘This does not serve the cause of human rights,’ the Hamas official said. ‘They want to raise children on calmness.’

The Hamas protests forced UNRWA to suspend its plan to teach the subject of human rights in its schools. Some Palestinians criticized UNRWA for ‘succumbing’ to threats, while others said they were aware that the international agency had no choice but to comply.

In an attempt to calm Hamas, UNRWA denied that its school curriculum contravened Palestinian tradition and culture.

A spokesman for UNRWA said that his agency consults with ‘all components of Palestinian society’ about its human rights courses.

Hamas’s real problem with the UNRWA curriculum is that it could spoil the Islamist movement’s ongoing efforts to stir the hearts and minds of Palestinian children to wage jihad against the ‘enemies’ of Islam.

Hamas wants Palestinian children to be taught how to become suicide bombers and seek the death of Jews and ‘infidels.’

Hamas does not want Palestinian children to learn about civil rights heroes such as Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks. These people were opposed to violence and therefore their ideology, according to Hamas, is in violation of Palestinian and Islamic culture.” Read more.

Washington Free Beacon – “Palestinians dismissed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s suggestion that Judea and Samaria settlers should be able to remain in their homes even if they fall within a possible future Palestinian state, Israel Hayom reports.

On Sunday, a Prime Minister’s Office official was quoted as saying that Netanyahu believes all settlers should have the right to remain in their homes in a future Palestinian state.

“The prime minister believes that in peace, just as Israel has an Arab minority, there is no logical reason why the Palestinian state could not contain a Jewish minority and that Jews living in Judea and Samaria would be given the option to stay,” the official said. “It should not be accepted a priori that in peace the Palestinian state must be ethnically cleansed.” […]

High-ranking officials in the Palestinian Authority outright rejected the idea. “Anyone who says he wants to keep settlers in the Palestinian state is actually saying that he doesn’t want a Palestinian state,” chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said Sunday.

“No settler will be allowed to stay in the Palestinian state, not even a single one, because settlements are illegal and the presence of the settlers on the occupied lands is illegal.”

Looks like a lot of the respondents answered the questions truthfully, at least in the Palestinian-controlled West Bank and Gaza. From birth, Palestinian children are taught to love death and martyrdom, and to hate Jews and all “kaffirs” in general. It’s why they celebrate each and every act of bloody terrorism in Israel. It’s why they danced in the streets during the attacks of 9/11. It’s why they celebrated and handed out candy after the Boston bombings. And it’s all for the glory of “Allah” the most “gracious” and “merciful” …

The Face of Islam in ‘Palestine’

By Ari Soffer, INN – “As the US government pushes for peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA), a recently-released poll by the Pew Research Center suggests that the Obama administration’s apparent optimism over the prospects for peace may be somewhat misplaced.

In a survey held across 11 different nationalities with large Muslim populations, Muslim respondents were asked about their views on ‘Islamic extremism.’

The results showed uniform opposition to such ideologies, as well as widespread rejection of suicide bombings – in all but one set of respondents.

In one question, those interviewed were asked whether they believed that suicide bombings can ever be justified, and were asked to select from one of the following options: ‘Never,’ ‘Rarely,’ ‘Sometimes,’ ‘Often’ and ‘Don’t Know.’

A sizable majority (62%) of respondents from the ‘Palestinian Territories’ (referring to Palestinian Authority-controlled Judea and Samaria, and Hamas-run Gaza) answered that suicide bombings were at least sometimes justified – nearly double that of the second-largest body of support (Lebanon, 33%).

Muslims from the ‘Palestinian Territories’ were also way ahead of the pack when it came to the percentage of respondents who felt that suicide bombings were ‘often’ justified: a whopping 37%. In comparison, the next highest percentage of respondents who answered the same was in Senegal, at a mere 11%.

The country with the greatest opposition to suicide bombings was Pakistan, where Al Qaeda and Taliban coordinated attacks have almost exclusively targeted other Muslims, from members of minority sects to political opponents.” Read more.

And one in particular, Dalal Mughrabi, is highly esteemed in the culture of death. Mughrabi “led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history in 1978, when she and other terrorists hijacked a bus and killed 37 civilians, 12 of them children” …

We grew up in school on the personality of this Palestinian female fighter. In first grade, I was throwing stones. In school we were nursed on the politics of Palestine, when we were little kids.”
