It’s a good thing the Palestinian Authority is a moderate Muslim organization, and not like ancient heathens seeking to sacrifice their children to a false god. Otherwise, they’d also be making outrageous claims like Palestinian children are “fertilizer” created to saturate the land with blood or something …

Glorification of death and genocide has become a serious rallying cry lately, and not just from the Ayatollahs in Iran and its proxy Hezbollah in Lebanon.  Over the past year alone we’ve been hearing loud and clear from the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt, to the Palestinian Authority and Fatah in the West Bank, to the clerics of Hamas in Gaza and the Palestinian people as a whole, and even from Islamists living as far away as America and Europe. With one mind they speak loud and clear to the ends of the earth of their thirst and yearning for the death of all Jews.  And now this same sentiment is being reflected by the “liberated” people of Tunisia …

If they continue down the broad road they are on, their wish to be ‘united’ with Osama bin Laden will one day be granted. But it will be in a much darker place than the one they’ve envisioned …

Proverbs 21:6, “Getting treasures by a lying tongue Is the fleeting fantasy of those who seek death.”

Proverbs 8:35-36, “For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD. But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death.”

Revelation 9:6, “In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.”

Egyptian Cleric Sheik Tawfiq Al-Afni at Tahrir Square in Cairo: “First of all, Islamic Law is the only source for legislation… the Prophet Muhammad prophesied that the return of Islam was inevitable… Sheik Osama bin Laden is a man who waged Jihad for the sake of Allah and we pray that Allah will unite us with him and the martyrs in Paradise. My brothers in Islam, we say with great pride that we adhere to the Jihad for the sake of Allah… We respond to Your call. Please turn our skulls into a ladder for your glory. The following sermon was delivered by the Deputy Speaker of Hamas’ Parliament, Ahmad Bahr, and aired on Al-Aqsa TV on September 23, 2011.  Time and time again we bear witness to endless examples of like-minded vitriol bellowing from the tireless lips of Palestinian leaders, indeed a culture which by and large languishes for the destruction of Israel and the genocide of the Jewish people, yet time and time again the West continues to push for the resumption of ‘peace negotiations’ in the hope that — if they ‘give peace a chance’ just one more time — then maybe, for some reason, this time the Palestinians and the Islamic world might forever turn their collective backs on their ‘Holy’ Qur’an, their ‘heroic’ martyrs, and their ‘divinely appointed destiny‘ …

Deputy Speaker: “Allah said: ‘Your Lord said that he would send against them, till the Day of Judgment, those who would afflict them with cruel torment. The Lord is quick in retribution, but he is also Most Forgiving and Most Merciful.’ Allah Akbar! The commentators said with regard to this blessed verse that Allah would impose the nation of Muhammad upon the Jews until the Day of Judgment, when they would be defeated and Allah would transform them, just as He transformed them [into apes and pigs] when they disobeyed Him. That is why Allah imposed the nation of Muhammad, and the Jihad-waging Palestinian people, upon those siblings of apes and pigs, until we sweep them out of our land and our holy places.”

By Adrian Blomfield and Richard Spencer – “An unsuccessful suicide bomber released from prison as part of the deal to free Gilad Shalit, the Israeli conscript, on Wednesday vowed to fulfil a childhood ambition by ‘sacrificing’ her life for the Palestinian cause.

As she returned to her family home in northern Gaza, Wafa al-Bis insisted she would seize any opportunity to mount another suicide mission and encouraged dozens of cheering schoolchildren to follow her example.

Bis was one of hundreds of Palestinian militants freed by Israel on Tuesday in the first phase of a prisoner swap agreed with Hamas, Gaza’s Islamist overlords, to win the freedom of Sgt Maj Shalit after five years in solitary confinement.

Her words will chill critics of the deal who argue that many of the 1,027 Palestinians who are to be released from prison will return to violence once they have been freed…

Bis was just 21 when, in 2005, she volunteered to undertake a suicide mission in Israel.

Her target, Israel says, was a hospital where she had been given permission to seek treatment for burns she sustained in a gas tank explosion. She never got there. Stopped by suspicious Israeli soldiers at a checkpoint on Gaza’s border, she was discovered with 22lb of explosives sewn into a belt inside her underwear. Bis tried to blow herself up but the detonator malfunctioned.” Read more.

By Maayana Miskin – “A Palestinian Authority kindergarten showed off what its young students had learned over the past year by having the five-year-olds act out scenes of terror and death for their families. The parents were moved to tears upon seeing their children pretend to die as ‘martyrs,’ Palestinian Media Watch reported reported.

During the graduation ceremony two plays were performed – one based on ‘Little Red Riding Hood,’ the second, ‘The Martyr’s Wedding,’ a story glorifying death in battle with Israel for the sake of Islam.

‘Another performance named ‘The Martyr’s Wedding’ delighted the audience due to the role-play of the children, whose acting depicted the reality of roadblocks, children, occupation, soldiers, and the children’s death as Martyrs,’ wrote the PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, in a report picked up and translated by Palestinian Media Watch.” Read more.

Unfortunately, this process never seems to make it to our mainstream media’s radar screen, nor into many of the classrooms of professors of Near Eastern Studies.

We see it in its most recent iteration in an April 3rd article in The New York Times describing the Palestinian Authority’s much ballyhooed intention of demanding that the UN officially welcome into the family of nations and into UN membership the State of Palestine. Interestingly, the article was titled ‘In Israel, Time for Peace Offer May Run Out,’ as though Israel had not already made numerous peace offers to the Palestinian Authority, and ought to do so quickly. The text of the article did make reference to an offer that Netanyahu’s government was preparing, and to the preemptive rejection of this future offer by Palestinian Authority leaders, who had no hesitation pointing out that they feel they can do better at the UN. But nowhere in the article was there any clarification that Arab leaders have a history, more than seven decades in length, of rejecting Israel’s repeated peace offers and squandering a grand total of thirty-one opportunities for the peaceful creation of a state for the Arabs of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, alongside of Israel.” Read more.

The Palestinian Culture of Death – “A FUNDAMENTAL QUESTION in the Middle East conflict is whether the Palestinians can be saved, not from Israel, as many of them would have it, but from themselves. Consider that the Palestinians want their own state. But to achieve that end, which, depending on the Palestinian you talk to, may or may not entail the destruction of Israel, the Palestinians have relied on a grossly immoral means, the suicide bomb, used to kill not only Israeli soldiers but also civilians, including women and children. How can a people who sanction such an abomination achieve statehood?” Read more.
