By Warren Richey – “A 22-year-old American Muslim from New Bethlehem, Pa., pleaded guilty on Tuesday to using an Internet website to urge Muslim radicals within the US to engage in a wide range of terror attacks.

Emerson Winfield Begolly pleaded guilty in federal court in Pittsburgh to a single charge of solicitation to commit a crime of violence.

The solicitations including urging like-minded individuals in the US to sabotage train tracks; destroy phone lines, power lines, and cell phone towers; start forest fires; and engage in isolated attacks against Americans civilians, police, and military officials.

‘Real terrorism, but on a small scale,’ he wrote in one of his posts. ‘Best as single shot, drive by, hit and run, beat down. Who are the best targets? Off duty police, off duty soldiers, gang member, family members of soldiers, government agents, workers at ammunition factory, white supremacists or black supremacists.’

He added: ‘It is best if targeting soldiers or police that they are off duty and out of uniform simply because [their] investigations will look usually for ‘robbery gone wrong’ or ‘revenge’ [rather than] as act of terrorism [or] revolt.’…

‘Begolly placed a number of postings … encouraging attacks within the United States,’ the indictment says. ‘He suggested the use of firearms, explosives, and propane tanks against targets such as police stations, post offices, synagogues, military facilities, train lines, bridges, cell phone towers, and water plants.’

According to the indictment, he used the forum to express his approval of the 9/11 attacks, the 2004 killing of 334 hostages – including 186 children – in Beslan, Russia by Chechen fighters, the kidnapping and beheading of American businessman Nick Berg in Iraq in 2004, and the kidnapping and beheading of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in Pakistan in 2002.

Begolly suggested militant Muslims in the US should attack civilian aircraft, banks, military installations, Jewish schools, and Jewish and daycare centers, according to the indictment.

‘Peaceful protests do not work,’ he posted in July 2010. ‘The [non-Muslim unbelievers] see war as [the] solution to their problems, so we must see war as the solution to our[s]. No peace. But bullets, bombs, and martyrdom operations.'” Read more.

Wait a minute.  The real threat comes from ‘right-wing Christian fundamentalists’, according to the mainstream media.  Surely, we must be misinterpreting this man’s peaceful intentions.  Or it’s just another one of those monumental flukes of the cosmos that yet again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again someone who was planning death and destruction wasn’t even a Christian …

“At least one U.S. military serviceman has been arrested in connection with an alleged plot to attack Fort Hood nearly two years after a deadly shooting rampage at the base, Fox News has learned exclusively.

Pvt. Naser Jason Abdo, an AWOL soldier from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, was arrested by the Killeen Police Department near Fort Hood and remains in custody there.

Abdo, 21, was found with weapons, explosives and jihadist materials at the time of his arrest, a senior Army source confirms to Fox News. He was arrested at around 2 p.m. Wednesday after someone called authorities to report a suspicious individual.

Eric Vasys, a spokesman with the FBI’s San Antonio Office, said authorities found firearms and bomb making components, which he described as smokeless gun powder, inside Abdo’s motel room. Sources also say Abdo was attempting to make a purchase at Guns Galore in Killeen, the same ammunition store where Major Nidal Hasan purchased weapons that were allegedly used to gun down 13 people and wound 30 others on Nov. 5, 2009.” Read more.

Naser Jason Abdo admits he was planning an attack on Fort Hood – “A U.S. serviceman is in custody after he allegedly admitted he was planning an attack on the U.S. Army base at Fort Hood, Texas, the same base where 13 people were killed in a 2009 terror attack. U.S. officials told ABC News an AWOL serviceman, identified by the FBI as a Private First Class Naser Jason Abdo, was arrested Wednesday after making a purchase at Guns Galore in Killeen, Texas, the same ammunition store where Maj. Nidal Hasan purchased the weapons he allegedly used to gun down 13 people and wound 32 others on Nov. 5, 2009.” Read more.

Flashback August 2010, Naser Jason Abdo in CNN interview: “As the time [came near] to deployment, I started really asking myself and taking the question more seriously whether god would accept what I was doing, and whether I was really meant to go to war as opposed to the peace that Islam preaches … Islam is much more peaceful and tolerant religion than it is an aggressive religion, and so I don’t believe that Islam allows me to operate in any kind of warfare at all, including the US military in any war it partakes in.  I believe that our duty first, as a Muslim, is to serve god.”

Since this interview I guess he’s gotten really serious about the religion of peace, which is why he decided to share the Islamist understanding of peace at Fort Hood for a second time …

Surah 3:151, 4:89,“We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve … Have no unbelieving friends. Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them.”

Doesn’t this silly man realize that radical Muslim terrorism isn’t ‘in vogue’ anymore?  Maybe ABC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, NPR and all other like-minded ‘dhimmedia‘ news organizations will seize upon words describing him as someone who ‘formerly supported Islamic extremists’ to somehow turn him into nothing more than a misunderstood moderate.  Of course, they may just simply ignore his religious affiliation, if not the entire story, altogether …

By Edmund DeMarche – “An Uzbek man, who was living illegally in the U.S., was indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury for allegedly making multiple threats to assassinate President Obama, then gaining possession of explosive material and a machine gun.

Ulugbek Kodoriov is accused of making four threats against Obama from July 9 to 13, the indictment says. Kodoriov, who lived in Jefferson County, Ala., eventually gained possession of a Sendra Corporation Model M15-A1 rifle, which was illegal because of his immigration status, according to the indictment. He also allegedly obtained an explosive intended for use as a grenade.

He was residing at the Oak Mountain Lodge in Birmingham, according to a search warrant obtained by FoxNews.com. Authorities sought any information in his room regarding Obama, as well as sniper rifles, documents relating to assassinations and Jihadist manuals.

On July 9, Kodoriov contacted an FBI source and asked about ways to kill the president by a long-range shot, according to the warrant. Kodoriov allegedly inquired about sniper rifles and said he didn’t care if he lost his life in an assassination attempt.

Kodoriov, 21, is a strict Muslim from Uzbekistan who previously supported Islamic extremists, an FBI source said, according to the warrant.” Read more.

Former Dearborn, MI man linked to Hezbollah?  Dearborn.  Dearborn. For some reason, that city rings a bell.  What’s eating Dearborn, MI?   And this former Dearborn man also has direct ties to Canada, which has its own large share of Islamic terror cells …

BY DAVID ASHENFELTER – “Federal prosecutors in Detroit have unsealed a two-year-old criminal indictment against a former Dearborn man who, they say, tried to use a phony U.S. passport to sneak into Israel in 2000 to carry out a bombing for Hizballah.

The indictment, handed down in August 2009, said Faouzi Mohamad Ayoub, 44, who also goes by the name Fawzi Ayoub, used a passport in the name of Frank Mariano Boschi to try to get into Israel. The U.S. State Department has designated Hizballah as a Lebanese terrorist group.

The indictment was unsealed Friday, two days after the FBI added the man’s name and photo to its most wanted terrorist list. There are 31 others on the list.

It’s unclear why Ayoub was added to the list so long after the 2000 incident, whether he was arrested in the episode and when and how long he lived in Dearborn…

The government said he was born in Lebanon, immigrated to Canada and was recruited by Hizballah’s Canadian branch.” Read more.

Flashback: Terror cells suspected in ‘every major city’ in Canada – “If there was one terrorist plying his trade in Edmonton, there are likely more where he came from, said a local criminologist. ‘Terrorist cells typically have four to seven people in them,’ said Bill Pitt, a former Mountie who now teaches at Grant MacEwan University. Pitt said CSIS suspects every major city in Canada likely has a couple of cells working for a variety of terrorist causes around the world.” Read more.

Another one-in-a-musillion chance that a man planning ‘something’ was Muslim.  The Tacoma Police Department says that ‘the man’s intention with the gun is unknown’, but, come on, he wasn’t intending to hunt jack rabbits here through the shrubs of Washington. He, too, probably intended to make the headlines.  It also seems to have been mere chance that the police stumbled upon this recent convert to the ‘religion of peace’.  I wonder how many more lost Jihadi wannabes like Brooks Papineau are yet to be found? …

“KEY PENINSULA, Wash. — A man who was fatally shot by Tacoma police during a traffic stop early Wednesday morning pointed a gun loaded with armor-piercing bullets at the officer who stopped him and was carrying a large amount of ammunition in his truck, the Tacoma Police Department said.

Wednesday afternoon, the Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Brooks Papineau of Gig Harbor. He died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

‘The driver exited his vehicle armed with a gun, and the officer opened fire, striking the subject,’ said Mark Fulghum of the Tacoma Police Department.

When police searched Papineau’s truck, they found a large amount of ammunition and additional ammunition magazines. They also said they found a Koran and several books on converting to Islam.” Read more.

By RICHARD ESPOSITO and JASON RYAN – “Two men who converted to Islam have been arrested and charged by federal authorities with plotting a Ft. Hood-style assault on a Seattle military installation in which they could kill military personnel and then either escape or die as ‘martyrs.’

Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif, born Joseph Anthony Davis, and Walli Mujahidh, born Frederick Domingue Jr., are accused of planning to attack the Military Entrance Processing Station in Seattle with grenades and machine guns on July 5. Abdul-Latif, 33, and Mujahidh, 32, allegedly purchased machine guns from undercover agents to use in the assault. Their alleged objective was to deter further American military action in Islamic countries.

The defendants allegedly planned to attack Joint Base Lewis-McChord, a sprawling Army and Air Force installation south of Seattle that houses almost 20,000 military personnel and family members, but then changed targets. The Military Entrance Processing Station on East Marginal Way in Seattle is where enlistees report.

Abdul-Latif referred admiringly to the 2009 Fort Hood massacre, according to a confidential informant who is quoted in the criminal complaint filed Thursday. Abdul-Latif allegedly said that ‘if one person could kill so many people, three attackers could kill many more’ and that if he was killed in his own attack, his son would be proud he had fought the ‘non-believers.'” Read more.

Alleged terror plotter ‘looked like everyday guy’ – “Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif, also known as Joseph Anthony Davis, 33, of SeaTac, and Walli Mujahidh, aka Frederick Domingue Jr., 32, of Los Angeles, appeared in U.S. District Court in Seattle on Thursday on charges alleging they purchased machine guns and grenades from a paid police informant earlier this week as they moved into the final stages of planning an attack they hoped would inspire an uprising among radical Muslims in the United States... The informant predicted, according to the complaint, that the case would make the news, and Mujahidh ‘described the imaginary headline of a newspaper article: ‘Three Muslim Males Walk Into MEPS building, Seattle, Washington, and Gun Down Everybody.'” Read more.

‘What Are You Waiting For?’ – Al-Qaeda Calls on US Muslims to Buy Guns and Start Killing Americans – “There are tens of millions of Muslims living in western countries, with an estimated 5-7 million Muslims living in the United States alone. Can we begin to imagine the havoc to be wrought if even 10% of them were to engage in terrorist activities to secure themselves a place in paradise? This could be at least 500,000 radicalized followers of the ‘prophet Mohammad’ who want us dead for the cause of Dar al Islam. The Fort Hood killer, a Muslim US Army Major, waged his own jihad and took 13 lives. This was just one man with a gun. Imagine what half a million all throughout the country wielding guns and knives could do with similar intent.” Read more.

But after several months of no progress, federal authorities have now zeroed in on a suspect in last year’s shootings at several military sites around the nation’s capital. Their suspect: the 22-year-old Marine reservist arrested Friday after causing a terror scare near the Pentagon.

Ballistics obtained at the suspect’s home have been linked to evidence found at the scenes of the 2010 shootings, including the Marine Corps Museum in Triangle, Va., a vacant Marine recruiting station in Chantilly, Va., and the Pentagon itself, Fox News has learned.

Authorities are now trying to track down a vehicle once owned by the suspect, Yonathan Melaku of Alexandria, Va., who has since sold the vehicle.

Melaku was arrested early Friday morning at Arlington National Cemetery when the site was closed. He was carrying a backpack with what authorities initially thought might be explosives, and they found a notebook containing words and phrases such as ‘Taliban,’ ‘Al Qaeda,’ ‘defeated coalition forces,’ and ‘mujahedeen.'” Read more.
