UK: Judge Declares Muslim Rapists ‘A Danger To Young White Girls’

“TWO men who plied a vulnerable 16-year-old with drink and drugs before raping her have been jailed.
Adil Iqbal also raped a 13-year- old girl on a separate occasion and Judge Timothy Clayson said he is a danger and gave him a sentence for public protection.
It means he will serve seven- and-a-half years behind bars before he can be considered for parole — and must prove he is no longer a risk. Judge Clayson said he was a danger to young white girls.
Mazar Latif, who raped the 16- year-old in a car after Iqbal had abused her in a flat, has been jailed for eight years.
He will serve half the sentence in prison and the rest on licence in the community.
Yesterday, the mothers of the two girls, who did not know each other, spoke of the impact the ordeal had on their daughters.
The mother of the 13-year- old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said: ‘My daughter is still having nightmares and is frightened to go out.
I wanted them both to be sent down forever, but we have got justice and now we will try to move on and help the girls and give them as normal a life as possible.’
The mother of the 16-year- old added: ‘They have shown no remorse for what they have done.'” Read more.

France: Dozens of Wild Boars Turn Up Dead Around Beach in Western France
“AFP – Dozens of wild boars have turned up dead this month around a beach in western France, officials say, as they suspect poisonous blue-green algae for the deaths.
Three dead boars were found on Wednesday at the mouth of the Gouessant estuary in Brittany, an AFP journalist witnessed, bringing to 31 the number found this month, floating in the water or washed up in the area.
The nearby beach has been closed for safety, its cove stinking with algae which give off a poisonous gas when they rot.
‘One of the theories we have is that the animals could have drunk water that could contain algae,’ said Gilles Buet, a Brittany water official.
‘They were not sick and they did not drown,’ said local police official Philippe De Gestas.
‘We found two carcasses in the morning, then five more, then it went up to 17’ and later 18, he said on Tuesday.” Read more.

“At least one U.S. military serviceman has been arrested in connection with an alleged plot to attack Fort Hood nearly two years after a deadly shooting rampage at the base, Fox News has learned exclusively.
Pvt. Naser Jason Abdo, an AWOL soldier from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, was arrested by the Killeen Police Department near Fort Hood and remains in custody there.
Abdo, 21, was found with weapons, explosives and jihadist materials at the time of his arrest, a senior Army source confirms to Fox News. He was arrested at around 2 p.m. Wednesday after someone called authorities to report a suspicious individual.
Eric Vasys, a spokesman with the FBI’s San Antonio Office, said authorities found firearms and bomb making components, which he described as smokeless gun powder, inside Abdo’s motel room. Sources also say Abdo was attempting to make a purchase at Guns Galore in Killeen, the same ammunition store where Major Nidal Hasan purchased weapons that were allegedly used to gun down 13 people and wound 30 others on Nov. 5, 2009.” Read more.

U.S. officials told ABC News an AWOL serviceman, identified by the FBI as a Private First Class Naser Jason Abdo, was arrested Wednesday after making a purchase at Guns Galore in Killeen, Texas, the same ammunition store where Maj. Nidal Hasan purchased the weapons he allegedly used to gun down 13 people and wound 32 others on Nov. 5, 2009.” Read more.

Egypt: Muslims Attack Christians After Installation of Church Bell
“(AINA) — An exchange of harsh words on July 25 between Ruth, a Christian woman, and Gassem Fouad, a Muslim man who had parked his tricycle in front of her home, escalated into assault by the man on Ruth and other Christian villagers, and the arrest of one Copt. After Ruth, who is 5 months pregnant, was assaulted, a Muslim mob waited for Coptic farmers to return from the fields, where they were intercepted and beaten with iron rods and pipes.
Security forces managed to contain the situation.
Six Christians, including Ruth and her sister-in-law Hannan, were hospitalized with concussions, head injuries and broken limbs. No Muslim was injured.
None of the Muslim perpetrators was arrested. Ruth’s husband, Kirillos Daniel, was accused of possessing a weapon — a rifle found thrown where the Christians were attacked, and is under detention.
In an interview on CTV Coptic TV, Father Estephanos Shehata, of the Samalout Coptic dioceses, said ‘The real reason behind this assault was the church bell, which has greatly angered the Muslims in the village.'” Read more.
Al-Qaeda Praises Syrian Protesters, Urges Them to Also Direct Their Movement Against Israel and the United States
“Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri urged Syrian protesters to direct their movement also against Washington and Israel, denouncing the United States as insincere in showing solidarity with them, according to an Internet video issued on Wednesday.
‘America, which cooperated with (Syrian President) Bashar al-Assad during his whole regime, claims today that it stands with you when it saw him floored by the earthquake caused by your fury,’ he said in the video posted on Islamist websites often used by al Qaeda.
The video carried the date of the Islamic month corresponding to June, when Zawahri was named by the Islamist group to succeed Osama bin Laden, who was killed by US forces in Pakistan in May after a nearly 10-year worldwide hunt.
‘You are standing with your bare chests facing tank and artillery shells and helicopters,’ Zawahri said of the Syrians demonstrating against Assad, whom he denounced as ‘America’s partner in the war on Islam in the name of fighting terror’.
‘Tell both America and (US President Barack) Obama: … our powerful uprising will not stop until we raise the victorious banner of jihad (holy war) … over Jerusalem,’ said Zawahri, wearing a white turban and robe and seated next to an assault rifle.” Read more.

Israel: Radical Islamists Calling for Islamic Caliphate Trying to Take Over Temple Mount

“On the 90th anniversary of the fall of the Ottoman Empire, the vast Islamic Caliphate regime which fell in 1921 after WWI, thousands of members of the Radical Islamist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir rallied on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. They called for Muslims to unite and embrace the Caliphate rulership once more.
The rally took place in early July. Demonstrators flew banners bearing inscriptions such as ‘The Ummah (Muslims) Want Muslim Caliphates.’ A giant banner was put up in the Al Aksa mosque courtyard on the Temple Mount. Other banners said ‘No to Democracy, Yes to Caliphates’. The crowd controller, using a microphone, soon had the crowd chanting over and over, ‘O Muslim armies, awaken to help Muslims.’
The Hizb ut-Tahrir (‘Party of Liberation’) website calls for the Muslim armies to forcefully lift the Gaza IDF naval blockade with military action, making it serve ‘as a tight noose’ around Israel.
Caliphates were a totalitarian system of Muslim government established by Mohammed, who made himself the first Caliph, reigning until 632 C.E. The Caliph was a religious and political leader, who made the Koran’s prescriptions, now developed into the legal body known as Sharia law, the law of the land. Militant Islamist fighters last week used vehicles mounted with loudspeakers to announce the bizarre ruling across the regions of the war-torn country it controls.
The extremist group has offered no official explanation for the ban on the triangular snacks, which are commonly cooked up and served across the Horn of Africa.
The bizarre ban comes just days after militants linked to Al-Qaida in Somalia refused to let some aid workers into the country as tens of thousands suffered in the nation’s massive famine.
Aid groups including the UN Food Programme say they were not given permission by militants to provide aid in the country, where it has been warned that 800,000 children could die from starvation.

Pakistan: Man Guns Down His Six Daughters in Mass Honor Killing and ‘Would Do It All Over Again’ If He Had To

Pakistan Tribune – “FAISALABAD: A man gunned down six of his daughters on suspicion that two of them were in relationships with boys in the neighbourhood.
On Tuesday morning, Arif Mubashir called his teenage daughters to his room and shot them while the rest of the family, including their mother, watched. His wife Musarrat called the police after the incident.
Mubashir shot the girls after their brother said two of them were in a relationship. He told police officials that he had killed his daughters because they were both ‘without honour’. The man said his daughters Sameena, 14, and Razia, 16, were in a relationship with college boys from the neighbourhood and the sisters had helped each other. ‘I should have been told immediately but the girls sided with each other. They were both corrupt,’ Mubashir told Tandlianwala Police Inspector Javed Sial.
Police officials have taken Mubashir into custody and filed a case against him. ‘He does not regret what he did. He boasted that he would do it all over again if he had to,’ Sial told reporters.” Read more.
Uganda: Thousands Face Starvation As Poor Rains Affect Harvest
“Several districts in Uganda will need urgent relief aid to mitigate the risk of starvation following poor rains that have affected this year’s harvest, the Minister for Disaster Preparedness warned.
Most of the affected districts are in Karamoja where the situation was particularly unique because crop failure and a prolonged drought had aggravated the region’s food crisis, Musa Ecweru said.
‘Arrangements are under way by government to deliver enriched food supplements to help feed close to 2,000 severely malnourished children in that region,’ the minister told IRIN on 26 July.
Fifteen districts have been tagged a red-zone area (at risk of starvation if there is no urgent relief intervention) by the government, including Moroto, Napak, Kotido, Amudat, Kaabong, Nakapiripirit, Abim (all in Karamoja), Amuria, Katakwi, Adjumani, Arua, Koboko, Moyo, Yumbe and Bulambuli.
Karamoja has the lowest levels of human development in Uganda. Only 30 percent of the people have access to safe water; only 11 percent are literate and nearly 80 percent experience some degree of food insecurity, according to UN data.” Read more.

“A chicken farmer in Kawamata-machi in Fukushima Prefecture has brought his eggs to a volunteer testing station in Fukushima City. After 20 minutes of testing, 60 becquerels/kg of radioactive cesium is detected from the eggs.
Disappointed, the farmer says, ‘I don’t know what to say to my customers. It’s much lower than the provisional safety limit in Japan, but if I compare the number to the safety limit in Ukraine it is extraordinary…’
The reporter asks the farmer, “What is the safety limit in Ukraine?”

The man who runs the station says, ‘For these farmers, the provisional safety limit in Japan is just too loose.’

Evidence Found for Undiscovered Comet That May Threaten Earth, ‘We Don’t Know Whether the Comet Has Already Passed Us By or Is Still On Approach’
By Mike Wall – “A surprise meteor shower spotted in February was likely caused by cosmic “bread crumbs” dropped by an undiscovered comet that could potentially pose a threat to Earth, astronomers announced today (July 27).
The tiny meteoroids that streaked through Earth’s atmosphere for a few hours on Feb. 4 represent a previously unknown meteor shower, researchers said. The “shooting stars” arrived from the direction of the star Eta Draconis, so the shower is called the February Eta Draconids, or FEDs for short.
The bits of debris appear to have been shed by a long-period comet. Long-period comets whiz by the sun very infrequently, so it’s tough to predict when they last cruised through our neck of the woods — and when they’ll come back, researchers said.
That uncertainty is cause for some concern in this case, they added.
‘If the meteoroids can hit us, so can the comet,’ said FEDs discoverer Peter Jenniskens, of the SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Institute and NASA’s Ames Research Center. ‘We don’t know whether the comet has already passed us by or is still on approach.'” Read more.

In one moment, an invisible trader placed a single trade that moved the most liquid debt market in the world.
The massive trade wasn’t placed in bonds themselves; it was placed in the futures market.
The trade was for block trades of 5,370 10-year Treasury futures executed at 124-03 and 3,100 Treasury bond futures executed at 125-01.
The value of the trade was about $850 million dollars. In simple terms, if that was a direct bond buy, no one would be talking about it.
However, with the use of futures, you have to have margin capacity behind the trade. That means with a single push of a button someone was willing to commit more than $1 billion of real capital to this trade with expectations of a 10-to-1 return ratio.
You only do this if you see an edge.
This means someone is confident that the United States is either going to default or is going to lose its AAA rating. That someone is willing to bet the proverbial farm that U.S. interest rates will be going up.” Read more.
