India: Islamic School Issues Fatwa Forbidding Muslims From Celebrating Birthdays, ‘A Tradition of Western Countries’

So, let me see if I understand this correctly.  Celebrating birthdays is against Sharia Law because it’s too ‘Western’, but murdering Christians is perfectly acceptable? …

“MUZAFFARNAGAR: Darul Uloom Deoband has advised Muslims against celebrating birthdays, contending in a fatwa that Islam does not permit such a practice which is a ‘tradition of western countries’.

Responding to a query of an AMU student, Darul Uloom said that Islam does not permit such celebrations as they are against the Sharia law.

The query was made in reference to the birthday celebration of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, the founder of the Aligarh Muslim University.

‘Muslims should not follow the tradition of western culture of celebrating birthdays as it against the Shariat law,’ vice-chancellor of Darul Uloom Deoband, Maulana Abul Kasim Naumani said on Sunday. Naumani added that even the Islamic seminary does not celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed.” Source – The Times of India.

    Yes it is against Sharea Law!
    Islam is unique with it’s own identity, and it’s followers must be unique in their behaviors!

    Yet there is nothing such as murdering Christians! Anywhere, and if you talking about the Quraan, then it is about fighting the enemy during the war, Christians or not!

    And such instructions are in the Bible too!

    And to prove you are wrong, and murdering Christians is not a part of the law, answer this please: Why there were Christians in the Muslim Nation during it’s might! Whey not killed them all, and take their money -if you are going to say Muslims used to force them to pay-!

    What you in particular believe doesn’t really matter, here is what your “sacred” writings say:

    Qu’ran 9:5: And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists (term for Christians and anyone else not believing in Allah, Mohammed’s Meccan moon god) wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush.

    Qu’ran 4:89: Do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them.

    Qu’ran 9:29: Fight those who do not believe in Allah (I don’t, so this is a direct command to Muslim to FIGHT me)or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture

    There are no such instruction in the entire New Testament (scriptures that Christians exclusively hold to); on the other hand, when Peter chopped off the ear of the high priest’s slave when Jesus was being arrested, he was rebuked by Jesus.

    Islam is responsible for the outright murder of 250 million people in the last 1400 years. Even if this if off by 100 million people, Islam is still by far the bloodiest religion in the history of the planet. This is your so-called “religion of peace”. Right.

    On the other hand, in Christianity we are commanded to love our enemies, and our God is one who laid down his life to atone for the sins of those who would trust him to save them from their sins, halleluia, and Merry Christmas!

    The Qu’ran and Hadith:

    Hadith: Bukhari 9.84.57, “Muhammad said, ‘Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.’”

    Qur’an: Sura 8:12, “… terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.”

    The Bible:

    Matthew 5:44,46, “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you … For if you love those who love you, what reward have you?”

    Annoymous –

    And than we have the restriction of building churches or even owning bibles and telling others about Christ’s work on the cross in Saudi, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt now coming, Sudan, Nigeria, etc. Why is it that the Muslims wear face masks when doing all of their dirty deeds – why are they ashamed to show their faces ?? what are you hiding from if the killings are so honorable – Your are hiding behind the mask of Islam and Satan – your murderous deeds are so ulgy that it is the shame in them that Islam cannot face – but the bible says that ALL THINGS WILL BE EXPOSED and ALL KNEES WILL BOW to Christ the King

    Jn 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
