Hamas: Israel’s Closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque Ramp ‘A Declaration of War’, Calls Upon ‘Arab and Muslim Mobilisation to Stop This Serious Event’

“Israel on Sunday night closed the Mughrabi ramp leading to the mosque compound in the Old City over public safety concerns in a move which was immediately condemned by Palestinians officials and Jordan, which is the custodian of Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem.

‘This is a serious step that shows the Zionist scheme of aggression again the Al-Aqsa mosque,’ Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhum said.

‘This is a violent act that amounts to a declaration of religious war on the Muslim holy places in Jerusalem,’ he said, calling for ‘Arab and Muslim mobilisation to stop this serious event.’

Jerusalem city council says the ramp poses a fire hazard and could collapse onto the women’s prayer section by the Western Wall.

But Muslim leaders fear its demolition could destabilise the mosque compound and accuse Israel of failing to coordinate its renovation with Waqf, which oversees Islamic heritage sites.

The closure prompted a swift response from Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina who warned it was another Israeli ‘attack’ on efforts to revive the moribund peace talks which could shake up the region.

‘These practices create a negative atmosphere in the entire region that could plunge the area into turmoil and tension,’ he warned.

Jordan’s powerful Islamists denounced the decision as ‘flagrant aggression.’

‘This is a very dangerous move,’ the head of Jordan’s Muslim Brotherhood, Hammam Said, told AFP.

‘The only solution against this entity (Israel) is resistance in order to protect the sanctity of the holy places against such flagrant aggression,’ he said.” Read more.

Egypt, Jordan Warns Israel over Temple Mount Gate – “Egypt has warned Israel over the matter of renovating the footbridge that leads to the Rambam (Mughrabim) Gate to the Temple Mount, Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin said Monday. ‘We are receiving warning messages from the Egyptians, because the Muslim Brotherhood is exerting pressure on them,’ Rivlin told German Ambassador to Israel Andreas Michaelis, who met him in Rivlin’s bureau Monday. The Muslim Waqf, which controls the Al Aqsa area atop the Temple Mount, has demanded that Israel refrain from renovating and rebuilding the walkway, which Jews use to access the Mount. Jordan, too, has warned Israel in the matter.” Read more.

It’s hard to believe they are sincere in their outrage when this is the only gate through which non-muslims can access the Temple Mount. It’s closure effectively prevents all Jews and Christians from entering. They ought to be dancing in the streets.

I wonder if this is a precursor to the holy place being trodden down for 1260 days?

You have good observation – they act like a bunch of drunken sailors – there is no rhyme nor reason to all of their ranting and raving. How do you deal or negotiate with a people like that. Gen 16:12 rings true everyday in the ME

Interesting thought on the 1260 days AHF

The Palestinians will seize upon every opportunity possible to spew hatred and incite Muslims everywhere against Israel, even if they have to distort facts and fabricate lies. I’m keeping a close eye on this one.

ICA – Not attempting to replace Harold Camping but adding to AHFs observation I have the following in a time line which I am sure you have seen me post on other posts but there may be other who have not thought about these things

From R/H 2008 the eve of the worlds financial crisis to the 8th day of Passover 2012 which is the end or last day of the Feast of unleavened Bread we have 1290 days

From R/H 2008 to the Feast of Weeks and the end of the counting of the Omar we have 1335 days

    R/H 2008 to Yom Kippur 2015 we have 2550 days which is 1260 + 1290 days

The eve of Yom Kippur 2015 is exactly 49 biblical years (seven Sabbaths of years) from the reclaiming of temple mount on June the 6th 1967

From the eve of the 8th day of Passover Feast of unleavened Bread 2012 to Yom Kippur 2015 we also have 1260 days add 75 days (1335 days) we land on the first day of Hanukkah 2015 when the temple was cleansed in 167 BC – will we see the third temple construction begin??

According to the torahcalindar.com Yom Kippur is the end of the 120th Jubilee and the beginning of the 121st Jubilee

Like book ends R/H and Yom Kippur 2015 we have a total solar eclipse at the front and a blood red moon eclipse on the eve of the FoT – this will be the 4th eclipse of the year the 8th tetrad since the days of Christ

There are numerous other very interesting things surrounding R/H and Yom Kippur 2015 one being that both the sunrise and the moon rise on R/H align with the Mount of Olives, the Golden Gate and the Dome of the Tablets – Not saying that it has never happened before but I cannot find any other date that that it has happened.

Mt 25:11 “Later the others also came. ‘Sir! Sir!’ they said. ‘Open the door for us!’
Mt 25:12 “But he replied, ‘I tell you the truth, I don’t know you.’
Mt 25:13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour

It’s awesome that those 1335 days count down to Hannukah, or the Feast of Dedication. I think that might give us a little glimpse as to what we will be up to in initial weeks after Christ returns. Zech. 6:12-13 state that Messiah will build His temple (this is why I have always have a question in the back of my head as to whether there will be an actual temple built during the trib). Maybe we will have a part in building that Temple with him. For sure, we will all celebrate the Feast of Dedication together, because it says blessed is he who attains to the 1335 days.

AHF – Haggi also tells us below that we are to give carful thought to this twenty fourth day of the ninth month – – Israel is told that from this day YOU WILL BE BLESSED – this day also was the day that the foundation of the second temple was laid it is also the eve of Hannuka and may be this points to the foundation of the third temple – time will tell

    Blessings for a Defiled People

Hag 2:10 On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Haggai:…………..

Hag 2:15 “ ‘Now give careful thought to this from this day on – consider how things were before one stone was laid on another in the LORD’S temple…………..

Hag 2:18 ‘From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the LORD’S temple was laid. Give careful thought:
Hag 2:19 Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit.“ ‘From this day on I will bless you.’ ”

    ALSO –
Aug 29 1897 to third day of Hannuka Dec 9 2015 is exactly 120 biblical years from the first Zionist conference held to begin the process to creat a Jewish homeland which was held in Bassel Switzerland
