Australia: Authorities Investigate ‘Millions’ Of Dead Fish Along The Shores Of Illawong Beach ‘As Far As The Eye Could See’

CQ News – “MACKAY’S Pat McGee was heading out for a regular walk at Illawong Beach yesterday morning, when he came across a disturbing sight.

‘There were millions of these little fish, all dead, in a great strand, all along the beach,’ Mr McGee said.

‘The strand of dead fish went for miles, as far as the eye could see,’ he said.

‘I think they are whiting, but am not sure.

‘But I would like to know what might have caused this.’

However, as the tide was coming in, the fish kill had been washed away before officers from the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection were able to investigate.

‘We are investigating reports of dead fish along Illawong Beach in Mackay,’ the department’s executive director Reuben Carlos said.

‘While officers have been out to the site, the tide has washed away all of the fish, preventing any samples being taken.’

Mr Carlos said the department would continue investigation, but was ‘unable to determine the cause of the dead fish at this time’.

‘We would encourage members of the public to report any further sick or dead fish, or evidence of pollution in the area, to the department’s hotline on 1300 130 372,’ he said.” Source – CQ News.

Egypt: Islamist Feelings Hurt After Being Denied Use Of Private Toilet, Seeks To Cut Off Owner’s Hand, Brother’s Tongue

AL ARABIYA – “The ‘Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice Authority’ group , in Egypt’s eastern city of Suez has attacked a man for not allowing them to use his private toilet and ordered to cut his brother tongue for ‘cursing’ Islam.

Ahmed Gharib, this week told the online newspaper, al-Mowjaz, that the problem started as he was in his shop, in the El-Arbeen area in Suez, when a ‘bearded man’ rushed inside to use the bathroom.

‘I told him that he needs to ask for permission to use the toilet,’ said Gharib, ‘but he just responded with ‘we do not ask for permission,’’ he added.

A few minutes later, a group of 30 ‘bearded’ men reportedly came to Gharib’s shop and said they wanted to ‘discipline him for insulting a religious figure,’ reported the newspaper.

‘They tied me down and assaulted me,’ said Gharib. ‘They tried to cut off my hand for reaching for one of them,’ he added.

They were unable to cut off his hand, however, as passersby intervened to stop the fight. But Gharib sustained deep cuts.

Gharib’s brother, who had reached the shop later, angered with what had happened to his brother insulted the men so the ‘Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice’ group ordered the cutting of the young man’s tongue as they claimed that he cursed Islam.

‘They tried to catch him to carry out the order but he managed to escape with the help of neighbors,’ said Gharib.

The father of the two men had to report the incident to police after the group refused to leave and remained waiting for the brother outside his home’s doorstep.

A political activist, Fawazi Abdul al-Fatah, also confirmed the incident and said that the group remained in search of the young man and members of the neighborhood had to guard the man’s house.” Read more.

Tthe European Bishops met with European Muslims in Turin to proclaim the need for the ‘progressive enculturation of Islam in Europe’.

And it began when thousands of Muslims marched in front of Milan’s Duomo to protest against Operation Cast Lead in Gaza, burning Israeli flags and chanting anti-Jewish slogans, Joaquin Navarro-Valls, John Paul II’s spokesman for 22 years, defended the ‘freedom of expression’ of the Muslims who burned the Star of David.

Now, Sheikh Abu Iyad is the major Islamist wanted for the terror attack against the US consultate in Benghazi, Libya. It was just been discovered that two of his handmen are Sami Essid Ben Khemais and Mehdi Kammoun. They both lived in Italy between Milano and Gallarate and they spent seven years in Italian prisons for terrorism.

Italy leads the ranking in Europe as paradise for ‘martyrs’, imams of hatred and terrorists involved in major terror attacks.

Twenty-nine of the suicide bombers in Iraq and Afghanistan came from Italy.

Eight of the terrorists jailed in Guantanamo Bay are Italians.

Hussien Saber Fadhil, who has been called ‘the caliph’, is the Iraqi arrested in Venice and considered the Italian link with al Qaeda. He sent money to the Palestinian Arab terror groups as well.

The most well known ‘Italian’ terrorist is Abu Farid Al Masri, the suicide bomber who destroyed the United Nations’ building in Baghdad in 2003, killing dozens of civilians.

From Milan came Kamal Morchidi, who blew himself up at the Rashid Hotel in Baghdad, nearly killing then-US undersecretary Paul Wolfowitz.

Egypt: MB Says New Constitution Must Be Shariah Based, Salafist Leader Warns Failure To Back Shariah Law Means Eternal Hell

Fox News, AP – “CAIRO – Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood said Wednesday it is committed to enshrining Islamic Shariah law as the main source of a new constitution, seeking to mollify ultraconservative Islamists who accuse the group of not advocating strongly enough for Islamic rule.

Islamic influence in Egypt’s governance is the most inflammatory issue following last year’s ousting of longtime President Hosni Mubarak. Islamists have swept elections since then, and the Brotherhood’s Mohammed Morsi is the president — but the Brotherhood faces criticism from even more stringent Islamists as much as from liberals.

Ultraconservatives known as Salafis have pushed for firm language in the new constitution to ensure implementation of Shariah, even calling for demonstrations on Friday. Top Salafi clerics threatened to rally voters against the constitution when it is put to a vote in a referendum before end of this year, if their demands are not met.

Together, Salafis and the Brotherhood dominate the 100-member assembly writing the new constitution.

The controversy centers on the phrasing of key articles that expand the role of Islamic Sharia laws.

The previous constitution said ‘the principles of Shariah’ are the basis of law in Egypt. Liberals favored such phrasing, which they say allows greater leeway, meaning legislation can meet the broad ideas of Islam.

Salafis wanted that changed to ‘the rulings of Shariah,’ implying Egypt’s laws would have to abide by the strict letter of what clerics say is meant in Islamic law.” Read more.

Salafist Leader Warn: If You Don’t Back Shariah Law You Will Go To Hell – “Voters in Egypt will go to hell if they back a new constitution that fails to set in stone fundamentalist Islamic law, a top politician has claimed. Adel Afifi, the leader of the Al-Asala party, delivered the warning on his Facebook page ahead of a referendum expected before the end of the year. ‘Support [Allah] and reject the constitution,’ announced Afifi. He claimed that voting in favour of the draft constitution was committing a sin, for which voters would be ‘casting themselves into hell’. Failing to support sharia law in Egypt would make a citizen an apostate, insisted Afifi.” Read more.

The penalties according to Azzazy’s bill are execution in the case of murder, or cutting one arm and one leg from opposite sides of the culprit’s body in the cases of robbery and forcible taking of property.
