Tanzania: Christian Pastor Beheaded By Angry Muslim Mob Demanding That All Christian-Owned Meat Shops Be Closed

By Meddy Mulisa, allAfrica – “Bukoba — A PASTOR with the Tanzania Assemblies of God (TAG) Church at Buseresere has been beheaded during religious-linked conflicts at Buseresere town, in Geita Region.

A spokesperson for the Geita Regional Police Commander’s Office, Mr Denis Stephano, identified the deceased pastor as Mathayo Kachili.

He said conflicts had been boiling for quite a while now in the area where a section of what are believed to be Muslim leaders had demanded immediate closure of butcheries owned by Christians.

He said that a group of youths believed to be Muslims assaulted several Christians using sticks and machetes and attacked a butchery owner at Buseresere town. During the confrontations pastor Kachili was beheaded.

According to Mr Stephano, several people are believed to have been injured, some in critical condition and were admitted to Buseresere hospital to receive treatment. He said the Chato District Commissioner (DC), Mr Rodrick Mpogolo, visited the scene and called for calm and religious tolerance among believers of the two faiths.” Read more.

By Nicole Lafond, The Daily Caller – “Aides to former Democratic Vice President Al Gore have failed to respond to a recent Al-Jazeera TV broadcast, in which a top imam affirmed the death penalty for anyone who quits Islam.

Gore sold his Current TV network to Al-Jazeera, which now plans to extend its broadcast into the United States this summer, according to Ashok Sinha, vice president of corporate communications at Current TV/Al-Jazeera America.

Gore reportedly sold Current TV for $500 million and endorsed Al-Jazeera’s news programs.

Western critics of Islam highlighted a recent broadcast of the network’s regular ‘Shariah and Life’ show, which has an estimated audience of 60 million viewers worldwide.

The show’s host is Yusuf al-Qaradawi, a prominent Sunni Islamic cleric.

He declared that Islam’s mandated death-penalty for apostasy has kept Islam alive since the 1400s. ‘If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment Islam wouldn’t exist today,’ Qaradawi said on the show.

Qaradawi cited specific verses and narrations by Islam’s prophet, Muhammad, and the recorded testimony of his companions, that mandate the death penalty for anyone who tries to leave Islam.

‘Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:33 says: ‘The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle is that they should be murdered or crucified,’’ Qaradawi quoted on his show.” Read more.

Shamshu Miah, 58, of Alexandra Road, Llandudno, struck his wife three times after she did not get him a cigarette.

He later told police his religion allowed him to hit his wife if she did not do as she was told.

Yesterday Llandudno magistrates court heard his wife continued to support Miah, who suffered from bipolar episodes.

The court heard she wanted him to move back to the family home.

Miah was ordered to undertake community mental health treatment. He has to pay £85 costs.” Source – Daily Post.

‘Christian On The Outside, Muslim On The Inside’: Germany’s Islamization Continues As Churches Nationwide Become Mosques

By Soeren Kern, Gatestone Institute – “Muslim plans to convert a former Lutheran church in the city of Hamburg into a mosque is generating controversy across Germany.

From Berlin to Dortmund to Mönchengladbach, the gradual proliferation of mosques housed in former churches reflects the rise of Islam as the fastest growing religion in post-Christian Germany. In the most recent case, the church would be the first converted into a mosque in the second-largest city in Germany.

The latest dust-up involves the former Kapernaumkirche (Capernaum Church), located in the Horn district in downtown Hamburg. The church, a cultural heritage site, was abandoned in 2002 for financial reasons due to declining membership.

The building and an adjacent 44 meter (144 foot) tower/steeple as well as the surrounding land was sold in December 2012 to the Al-Nour Islamic Center, which has approximately 600 members, mainly made up of Arab Muslim immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa.

The church is currently undergoing renovations at a cost of one million euros ($1.4 million) and is scheduled to be reopened as a mosque on October 3, the Day of German Unity [Tag der Deutschen Einheit], a public holiday commemorating the anniversary of German reunification in 1990. Muslims in Germany have also claimed October 3 as Open Mosque Day [Tag der offenen Moschee], a day when non-Muslims are allowed to visit mosques.

Major German newspapers have greeted the news with apparent resignation, and have published editorials with titles such as ‘When Mosques Replace Churches,’ ‘Tenant Allah,’ ‘Christian on the Outside, Muslim on the Inside,’ and ‘The New Normal.’

But political and religious leaders have been more circumspect; many have responded to the situation with a sense of unease and foreboding.

A Day In The Tortured Life Of Christians In The Middle East

This is only going to get more and more severe as Islamic fundamentalism continuously conquers the Middle East. The patriarch of Antioch, Gregorios III, made this statement:

Many of our sons have been kidnapped, and we’ve paid great sums to return them. Around one hundred of our children have been killed; while over a thousand different Christian sects have been attacked. …The believers of our Lord and priests have been evicted. The priests have not reached to their people or prayed liturgy for over a year.

 Women are being ravaged, people murdered and kidnapped. Archdeacon Emanuel Youkhana of the Assyrian Church of the East, said that:

We are witnessing another Arab country losing its Christian Assyrian minority. When it happened in Iraq nobody believed Syria’s turn would come. Christian Assyrians are fleeing massively from threats, kidnappings, rapes and murders. Behind the daily reporting about bombs there is an ethno-religious cleansing taking place, and soon Syria can be emptied of its Christians.

Tons of Christians are leaving Syria, as the Hebrews left Egypt. The Syrian patriarch referred to it as a ‘great exodus taking place in silence.’

We are going back to the days of El Hakim, the Muslim leader of the 11th century who destroyed thirty thousand churches in Egypt. The church was kept in constant poverty on account of heavy taxes; no Christian was allowed to ride on any animal save a donkey or mule, and even the saddles were to be given a distinguishable mark. Every Christian was to place on his door the wooden image of an ape, dog, or devil. No public prayers were allowed to be given, all crosses were forbidden (the Left here would love such edicts), and like weeds in a luscious field, minarets sprouted and churches were burnt down. And as the Nazis forced every Jew under the Third Reich to put on a yellow patch of the Star of David, so did the Muslim make every Christian wear a patch.

‘Gruesome’: Muslim Man Beheads Two New Jersey Christians

Qur’an Sura 48:29a, “Mohammed is [Allah’s] apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers …”

Qur’an Sura 9:14, “Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace …”

Random murders? Jihad? The police aren’t revealing any motive at this time, but the fact that some believe it may have “had something to do with the victims’ religion” points to the latter …

By Jeff Pegues, WABC – “JERSEY CITY (WABC) — There’s a gruesome double murder mystery in New Jersey.

Police say who did it’s not a mystery because someone is under arrest but the mystery is why the accused killer cut [off] two men’s heads and hands.

The victims are reportedly from Jersey City, but their remains were found buried in a town southwest of Philadelphia.

On the streets of Jersey City along Bergen Avenue, to the naked eye it’s not obvious.

But to members of the close knit Coptic Orthodox church the pain is real.

‘It’s a shock, something like this doesn’t happen to people like that,’ a resident said.

Now they know two members of the church have been brutally murdered.

But no one in this community seems to know why.

‘It was crazy what happened to these two. Do they deserve it? No. Was it expected? Never. And it’s just sad,’ a resident said.

The two victims were found buried in a back yard in Buena Vista, New Jersey last Thursday.

Monday, police announced an arrest.

28-year-old Yusuf Ibrahim is in custody.

Investigators say Ibrahim shot and killed the victims, severed their heads and hands, and buried the remains at a Buena Vista house.

Back in Jersey City, friends of the victims are praying that police will have the answers to the questions that now haunt them.

Privately some wonder if it had something to do with the victims’ religion. Read more…

Petrus Romanus: Will The Next Pope Be The False Prophet Of Revelation 13?

The announcement of the resignation of Pope Benedict [has] caused somewhat of an explosion with the prophecy-sphere of eschatological conspiracy-theorizing and speculation. What of St. Malachy’s prophecy? Does this mean the final pope is here? How did the authors of Petrus Romanus know that the Pope would resign?

The answer to these questions is as follows: St. Malachy’s prophecy is a proven fraud. The next pope is not likely to be the final pope. And for well over two years now, long before Petrus Romanus was written, there has been talk of the Pope resigning. See for example here, where there was public talk of his resignation as late 2011. In fact, Benedict’s brother, George Ratzinger, also a priest, suggested last year that the Pope might retire at age 85. And Benedict, himself even made a case for papal resignation in a book titled, ‘Light of the World’ published back in 2010. Despite the bold claims of the authors of Petrus Romanus, nowhere in the book do they ever actually predict the Pope would resign. What they do (see page 59) is simply cite some of the previous discussions that were in the news concerning the Pope stepping down, and strongly speculate that this might take place in 2012. 2012 of course, was the target date set by the authors for the revealing of the Antichrist or the False Prophet. Next on their agenda: To show how the Vatican is planning on ushering in an alien Antichrist.

I want to be clear that my point is not to personally attack the authors of these works, but to simply call on responsible Christians not to engage in the kind of silly and rampant speculation that revolves almost entirely around conspiracy theories, sectarian polemics, and extra-Biblical pseudo-prophecies. It truly saddens me to see so many widely known prophecy teachers openly support the theories in these books. Along these lines, an interesting observation was made by my friend Ray Gano of Prophezine. AsiaNews – “A group of rebels close to Muslim extremists on Sunday abducted an Armenian Catholic priest, Fr Michael, as well as a yet unknown Orthodox clergyman. Both were working in Aleppo. Sources, anonymous for security reasons, told AsiaNews that the city’s Christian community is very concerned about the attack. ‘Extremist violence is getting worse day by day. Muslim militias are killing anyone suspected of ties with the regime, including women and children. People in the neighbourhoods are comparing these days to the Ottoman conquest five centuries ago.’

For several weeks, residents had complained about the presence of al-Nusra Front forces, Islamic extremists who want to turn Syria into an Islamic state, feared even by the rebel Free Syrian Army.

On 6 February, Front troops stormed the Christian neighbourhood of Jdeideh where extremists had already destroyed the city’s main Evangelical church in November.

Al-Nusra forces include many foreigners, including Muslims from Indonesia and the Philippines, as evinced by a statement posted online by the leader of Abu Sayyaf, an extremist Muslim group with ties to al-Qaeda operating in the Philippines. In it, Muslims are urged to go to Syria and sacrifice their lives for Islam.

‘These fighters live for killing and violence. They act without pity and make distinctions among people,’ sources said. ‘When they kill, they turn to God as if they were making a sacrifice.'” Read more.

Pakistan: Security Forces And Musilm Hardliners Caught Torturing, Raping Christian Women

By BosNewsLife – “LAHORE, PAKISTAN (BosNewsLife)– Christian relief workers rushed to a volatile district in Pakistan’s Punjab province Saturday, February 9, after security forces and Muslim hardliners allegedly abused Christian women and raped at least one Christian girl.

‘Yesterday some Muslims and some [undercover] police men raided Kaila Masih’s house’ in the town of Pattoki [where they] ‘beat and tortured Christian women Zareena Bibi,Hameedan Bibi and Sharifan Bibi,’ said the Legal Evangelical Association Development (LEAD), an advocacy and aid group.

It was the second such incident in Punjab’s Kasur District within about two weeks, according to LEAD investigators. On January 25 a 15-year-old Christian girl, Fouzia Bibi, was raped by two influential Muslim men in the district’s village of Roday, LEAD Chief Sardar Mushtaq Gill told BosNewsLife.

Gill said he met a local pastor and victims and helped to register a criminal case against the alleged attackers of the women, including “police officials and other Muslims.”

INDEPENDENT POLICE?

LEAD also demands that the rape case be moved to more independent police in Pattoki amid concerns that authorities are reluctant to investigate the crime because of pressure from influential Muslims in the region.

Though police ‘arrested’ one suspect, ‘he was not yet sent to jail’, complained LEAD investigators.

Another alleged rapist ‘is free and making threats to Christians of the area,’ LEAD said, adding that both men should be jailed.” Read more.

Michigan: Dearborn Muslim Calls For The Killing Of Christian Protesters For The Sake Of Allah

By David Wood, Answering Muslims – “A recent Dearborn Patch article addressed concerns about the location of the annual Dearborn Arab Festival. For several years, the festival has been held on Warren Avenue. However, because the sidewalks adjacent to the festival remain public property during the event, criticism and protest are protected by the First Amendment. In 2012, a group of anti-Islam protesters showed up with signs condemning Muhammad (not to mention a pig’s head on pole), and some young Muslims responded violently. Mayor John O’Reilly, a notorious defender of the city’s campaign against free speech, hopes that organizers will consider moving the festival to a closed location, where the city will not be responsible for handling protesters.

Of course, the only reason protesters show up at the festival is that Dearborn leaders (with occasional help from the American Arab Chamber of Commerce) spent years violating the Constitutional rights of U.S. citizens. I attended the Arab Festival in 2008 and 2009, and I didn’t see any protesters. In 2009, however, the Police Department declared that Christians wouldn’t be allowed to distribute pamphlets or Bibles, even on the public sidewalks around the festival. This was the same year we were attacked by security for asking a question at a booth that invited us to ask questions. The following year, we were arrested for having a peaceful discussion with some Muslim teenagers who approached us with questions about Christianity. Two days later, police took us into custody again for attempting to distribute Bibles outside the festival.

News (and videos) spread about Dearborn’s contempt for the First Amendment, and this drew a number of protesters to the city (including Terry Jones, who was convicted and jailed for planning to protest outside a mosque). Now that the city has gained worldwide attention for its stance against free speech, city leaders want to move the festival in order to escape the consequences of their actions.

The local population is divided over whether to move the festival, and, even more importantly, over how Muslims should respond to protesters. The Dearborn Area Community Members Facebook group hosted a discussion about the move, and some of the comments were enlightening. A Muslim named Aboudi Berro suggested moving the festival to an area where protesters could be more easily murdered …” Read more.

Lebanon: Muslim Brother Rapes His Sister, Impregnates Her And Honor Kills Her

A man has killed his pregnant teenage sister in south Lebanon in what was seen as an honor crime – the murder of a woman accused of shaming her family.

Voice of Lebanon radio (100.5) said Friday that the body of Baghdad Khaled al-Issa, 18, was found with stab wounds in her head and sides in the area of al-Wazzani.

Investigators discovered that her brother Jihad, 21, had killed her in what is described as an honor crime, VDL said.

It added that the victim was seven months pregnant.

Later on Friday, LBCI television reported that the investigation with Jihad revealed that he had raped his sister, which lead to her pregnancy.

“He confessed to raping his sister,” LBCI said, adding that Jihad claimed he was drunk when the incident happened.

The television channel added that he had only recently found out about the pregnancy and asked his sister to undergo an abortion, but she refused.

So Jihad was a drunk and a rapist, but like every psychopath in the region, he valued ‘honor’ above all else. Which is one more reason why there will never be peace in the Middle East.” Source – Frontpage Mag.
