UK: Teacher Refused To Give Boy, 10, Water During Hottest Day Of The Year To Avoid Offending Muslim Pupils Observing Ramadan

07/12/2013 8 comments

A public school teacher bowing down to “Allah” in an effort to not offend the perpetually offended should be suspended. If it was the other way around, would a Muslim teacher in a predominantly Muslim country have cared if a Christian student may have thought they were being treated “unfairly”? …

Daily Mail – “An angry mother has accused a primary school of denying her child water on one of the hottest days of the year for fear of upsetting pupils observing Ramadan.

Kora Blagden, 32, claimed a teacher at her son Luke’s school refused to let the 10-year old drink from his water bottle because it was unfair to fasting classmates.

Many pupils at Charles Dickens Primary School, Portsmouth, Hampshire, are fasting during Ramadan, which means they refrain from taking food or water between sunrise and sunset for around 30 days, depending on the moon.

Mother-of-four Kora said: ‘Just before bedtime me and my sons Luke, ten, and Alfie, eight, were talking about Ramadan as we had seen it on the news.

‘Luke said to me he was told he wasn’t allowed to drink in class by his teacher.

‘The reason being, a child who is fasting had a headache and the teacher said it would be unfair if the other children drank in front of the pupil.

‘They normally have their bottles on their table but they were kept in a tray by the teacher.

‘He went along with it but he was thirsty and didn’t want to offend the other children.

‘Alfie said he was allowed to drink in the morning but not in the afternoon.

‘Luke was dehydrated when he got home and drunk three glasses of water straight away.’

The teacher made the ruling on Thursday when temperatures soared to 28C.” Read more.

Egyptian Foreign Minister: ‘Obama Told Me He Is Still A Muslim, Who Supports The Muslim Agenda’

07/11/2013 2 comments

I have no reason to doubt Egypt’s Foreign Minister. Obama certainly acts like one

By Kristin Tate, Mr. Conservative – “Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said, ‘Obama told me he is still a Muslim, who supports the Muslim agenda.’

Aboul Gheit made this statement on Nile-TV. Here is a report on the incident by Israeli Today, an Egyptian magazine:

Aboul Gheit said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, where the US President told him that He was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, the step son of Muslim stepfather, that his half brothers in Kenya are Muslims, and that he was sympathetic towards the Muslim agenda.

Aboul Gheit claimed Obama told the Arabs to show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic issues, like the Health care reform, he would show the Muslim World how to deal with Israel.

For obvious reasons, most American media is ignoring this news event in Egypt.

Obama is the mainstream media’s darling. God forbid they expose him for being a Muslim. Imagine: If what Adul Gheit says is true, American voters have elected a Muslim as the Commander in Chief of the United States of America.

Of course, what Aboul Gheit said may not be true — so, we are left to interpret the story ourselves.

Whatever the case may be, the Obama Administration has shown they largely support Islam. The term ‘Islamic Terrorism’ is now banned from American jargon. Obama and his colleagues have tried time and time again to present Islam to the American people in a positive light, and as a religion of peace.” Read more.

Egypt: Food Stocks Dwindle As US State Department Finally Admits Brotherhood Rule Was ‘Undemocratic’

07/11/2013 3 comments

The black horse trots …

By Yasmine Saleh and Sarah McFarlane, Reuters – “Egypt’s interim rulers welcomed on Thursday remarks from the U.S. State Department describing the rule of toppled leader Mohamed Mursi as undemocratic, read in Cairo as a signal that Washington will not cut off its $1.5 billion in annual aid.

In a stark illustration of the desperate state of Egypt’s economy, a former minister from Mursi’s ousted government said Egypt had less than two months’ supply left of imported wheat, revealing a far worse shortage than previously disclosed.

The army’s removal of Egypt’s first freely elected leader last week, after millions took to the streets to protest against him, has left the Arab world’s most populous country polarized by divisions unseen in its modern history.

Violence between supporters of Mursi and soldiers at a military compound this week has deepened the fissures.

Washington has been treading a careful line. U.S. law bars aid to countries where a democratic government is removed in a coup. So far Washington has said it is too early to say whether the Egyptian events meet that description.

Nevertheless, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said on Wednesday Mursi’s government ‘wasn’t a democratic rule’.

‘What I mean is what we’ve been referencing about the 22 million people who have been out there voicing their views and making clear that democracy is not just about simply winning the vote at the ballot box.’

The new U.S. remarks were warmly received by the interim government and swiftly denounced by Mursi’s Muslim Brotherhood.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdelatty said the comments reflected ‘understanding and realization about the political developments that Egypt is witnessing in recent days, as embodying the will of the millions of Egyptians who took to the streets’.

Brotherhood spokesman Gehad Haddad said the remarks showed American hypocrisy: ‘There is no way the Egyptian army would have gone through with this coup if it would not have been sanctioned by the U.S.’ …

Two and a half years of political turmoil has left Egypt on the brink of economic collapse, scaring away tourists and investors, shriveling hard currency reserves and threatening its ability to import food and fuel for its 84 million people.

Speaking to Reuters in a tent at a vigil by thousands of Mursi supporters, the ousted president’s supply minister, Bassem Ouda, revealed that government stocks held just 500,000 tonnes of imported wheat.

Egypt, the world’s biggest buyer, usually imports about 10 million tonnes of wheat a year, half of which is given out by the state in the form of subsidized bread sold for less than 1 U.S. cent a loaf.

The imported wheat stock figure, previously a closely guarded secret, means Egypt will need to urgently start spending a $12 billion financial aid lifeline it has been given in the past two days by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, rich Gulf states that welcomed Mursi’s downfall.

Egypt had not bought any imported wheat since February, its longest absence from the market in years, until the eve of Mursi’s downfall when it bought 180,000 tonnes.

State grain buying agency GASC said on Thursday it was unlikely to buy any more soon due to the increase in prices and availability of stocks in Egypt.” Read more.

Ramadan: When You Can’t Get Food To Eat, Find A Christian To Beat

07/11/2013 3 comments

Mission News Network – “For some Christians around the world, Ramadan represents an opportunity to talk about Christ while Muslims are seeking truth, but for believers in mostly-Muslim nations, this Islamic holy month is a time to lay low.

‘Last year during Ramadan, there was an upsurge against Christians in the Muslim world,’ says Jerry Dykstra of Open Doors, USA. Dykstra says that although persecution did not increase in every Muslim nation, it did increase significantly in many of them, Egypt being one of the worst.

During Ramadan last year in Egypt, a church was burned to the ground. At least 155 Egyptian Christians were arrested for not participating in Ramadan. Last September, Rody Rodeheaver with I.N. Network  explained that Ramadan ‘is a time when Muslims who are moderate often become much more aggressive about their faith, and they [see it] as a time to be aggressive as they deal with Christians.’ Rodeheaver also noted that many people are somewhat psychologically distraught by a lack of food since Muslims are required to fast during Ramadan.

This year, with tension rising after Muslim attacks on Christians in Afghanistan, Somalia, Pakistan and other nations just before Ramadan, prospects don’t look much better. The potential for a swell in persecution in the next 28 days is high.

Ramadan–August 11 to September–is especially daunting for Muslim converts to Christianity. Many more Muslims are coming to faith in Christ each year, but that means that this year many more converts have entered the 30 days of Ramadan with no intention of observing it for the first time in their lives.

‘During this time of Ramadan, for Muslim-background believers who have come to Christ from their Islam background, there’s extra pressure on them to return to Islam,’ explains Dykstra. ‘These new converts from Islam have tremendous pressure on them from their families. In fact, they get death threats, and many of them have to leave their homes and their families.’

In light of the fact that Christians in general–and especially Muslim converts to the faith–may be in danger until Ramadan concludes in September, Open Doors has released a 30-day prayer calendar. The calendar focuses on a different Muslim nation each day with requests specific to the Christians there. To download or print the Ramadan prayer calendar, click here.

Eight out of the top ten country’s on Open Doors’ World Watch List for the persecuted church are Muslim nations, most of which have Muslim populations of 99% or higher. Believers are already in the minority–a fact which is highlighted during Ramadan. Pray for believers to have opportunities to share Christ with their Muslim friends during Ramadan, particularly when Muslims have dreams or visions of Jesus. Pay especially for believers who will be persecuted for boldly proclaiming Christ.” Source – MNN.

Friday Sermon In Damascus: Jews Are The Ones Behind Civil Strife All Throughout The Middle East

07/11/2013 Leave a comment

Yep, and even David Cameron seems to agree. Islam has absolutely nothing to do with all of the death, wars, revolutions, lawlessness, conflicts, terrorism etc. that is taking place on a daily basis in the Islamic world. It’s those Jews again …

Friday Sermon, Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, 6/28/2013 – “Let us take a look at the history of mankind, which has recorded the true nature of the Jews, the slayers of prophets and violators of agreements. It shows how they have tried, since pre-Islamic times, to fragment, divide, and rip apart the Arab and Islamic nation…”

Maybe those Jews time-traveled from the future seeking the destruction of the Islamic nation “since pre-Islamic times” …

“… That is what they did throughout the ages all over the world. Oh nation of Islam, the Jews have been tearing this nation apart for many years. What is happening today in this steadfast fortress (Syria), and in the Middle East in general, is nothing new. It was premeditated. We are a nation in slumber, a nation that does not study the books of history, and has not studied what its enemies are plotting and devising against it.” (Watch video below).

For a nation that “does not study the books of history” they sure seem to know an awful lot about it …

Syrian City Slowly Dies As Islamist Rebels Prevent Food And Medicine From Reaching The Sick And Hungry

07/11/2013 2 comments

Luke 21:9-11,25, “When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away… Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven… There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea…”

By Oliver Holmes, Reuters – “Syrian rebels fired into the air to disperse a protest by civilians in a rebel-held district of Aleppo against a blockade preventing food and medicine reaching government-held areas of the northern city, residents said on Wednesday.

Rebel fighters have stopped supplies entering western parts of Aleppo for weeks. The tactic is aimed at weakening the supply routes of President Bashar al-Assad’s forces but thousands of civilians are now going hungry, residents say.

Video footage posted on the Internet on Tuesday showed dozens of civilians in the rebel-held neighborhood of Bustan al-Qasr protesting at a rebel checkpoint which prevents supplies from entering the western section of the city, home to 2 million people and held by the army.

Although insurgents and the army control different parts of the country, civilians are normally allowed to cross freely to shop or meet family members and friends.

The footage, posted by the opposition Bustan al-Qasr Information Office, showed men at the protest chanting, “the people want an end to the blockade.” A rebel fighter brandishes a pistol and then a gunshot is heard as the video ends.

An opposition activist group called the Aleppo Martyrs said rebels fired at the protesters, killing one person and wounding several others. But a resident at the protest said the man was killed prior to the protest by army sniper fire as he tried the cross between rebel and government-held territory.

Reuters was not able to confirm the report due to media and security restrictions in Syria.

More than 100,000 people have died in Syria’s two-year conflict. It started because Assad’s force fired live ammunition against pro-democracy protests, leading to an armed revolt.” Read more.

Unsealed: A Closer Look At Revelation 6 And ‘The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse’ – “Because of ‘Sharia lawlessness’ the ‘Religion of Peace’ is typified by widespread destruction and disparity, and any number of recent headlines bear this out all too well. In Sudan, for example, slavery is explicitly permitted and tens of thousands of Christians are held in bondage, taken as slaves and face starvation because of Sharia laws instituted by an Islamist government. In Mali, 4.6 million people are threatened with starvation following Islamist advances in the north. Starvation threatens more than 7 million citizens in Afghanistan as over 90% of the country’s agriculture is destroyed by drought. In Somalia, Islamist militants deprive 1.3 million people of food, clean water and health care after banning humanitarian aid. In Chad, children starve to death as Islamic ‘doctors’ with ‘healing gifts from Allah’ throw common sense to the wind. Islamists are killing aid workers in Pakistan for trying to save lives with ‘un-Islamic’ polio vaccines… As Islamists engage in an all-out war to oust Bashar Al-Assad and implement an Islamist state in Syria, a flesh-eating parasite dubbed the ‘Aleppo Boil‘ sweeps across the country … The fruit of Islam and its laws have produced and will continue to produce the type of conditions that precipitate and perpetuate all sort of pestilences, all manner of plagues, any number of conflicts and hardships both inside and outside the Islamic world.” Read more.

Egypt: Islamists Behead Christian Shopkeeper In The Sinai Peninsula

For peaceful purposes …

AKI – “A Christian shopkeeper’s headless corpse was found in the Sinai Peninsula on Thursday, the second slaying of Christian there since the military deposed Egypt’s Islamist president Mohammed Morsi on 3 July.

Arabic satellite TV channel al-Arabiya cited Egyptian security sources as saying that 60-year-old Magdy Habashi had been abducted last Saturday in the city of Sheikh Zweid. His remains were found in a cemetery.

A Coptic Christian priest, Mina Abboud Sharobeen, was shot dead by gunmen on 6 July in the flashpoint city al-Arish in the northern Sinai.

Investigators suspect Islamic extremists are behind the two murders.

Egypt’s Christians make up around 10 percent of the country’s population and have frequently been targeted by Islamists.

Islamist extremists are believed to have shot dead a 28-year-old man who ran a bar selling alcohol the centre of al-Arish in May.

The ousting of Egypt’s longterm president Hosni Mubarak in a popular revolt in 2011 emboldened militant Islamists who have carried out a number of attacks in the lawless North Sinai and across the border in Israel.” Source – AKI.

Egypt: Muslim Mobs Rampage Through Village Killing Christians, ‘There Is No God But Allah And The Christians Are [Allah’s] Enemies’

07/10/2013 3 comments

By HAMZA HENDAWI, The Republic – “CAIRO — With a mob of Muslim extremists on their tail, the Christian businessman and his nephew climbed up on the roof and ran for their lives, jumping from building to building in their southern Egyptian village. Finally they ran out of rooftops.

Forced back onto the street, they were overwhelmed by several dozen men. The attackers hacked them with axes and beat them with clubs and tree limbs, killing Emile Naseem, 41. The nephew survived with wounds to his shoulders and head and recounted the chase to The Associated Press.

The mob’s rampage through the village of Nagaa Hassan, burning dozens of Christian houses and stabbing to death three other Christians as well, came two days after the military ousted Islamist President Mohammed Morsi from power. It was no coincidence the attackers focused on Naseem and his family: He was the village’s most prominent campaigner calling for Morsi’s removal.

Some Christians are paying the price for their activism against Morsi and his Islamist allies in a backlash over his ouster last week.

Since then, there has been a string of attacks on Christians in provinces that are strongholds of hard-liners. In the Sinai Peninsula, where militant groups run rampant, militants gunned down a priest in a drive-by shooting as he walked in a public market.

Egypt’s Christian minority, about 10 percent of the population, long shunned politics for fear of reprisals, relying on their church to make their case to those in power. That changed in the revolutionary fervor when autocrat Hosni Mubarak was toppled in 2011, as Christians started to demand a say in the country’s direction.

But they took it to a new level during Morsi’s year in office and the empowerment of his Islamist allies. The new Coptic Christian pope, Tawadros II, enthroned in November, openly criticized the president. He told Christians they were free to actively participate in politics and that the church will not discourage them.

‘The Christians have emerged from under the robes of the clergy and will never go back,’ said Ezzat Ibrahim, an activist from Minya, a southern province with a large Christian community.

It was a risky gamble for a minority that has long felt vulnerable, with its most concentrated communities often living in the same rural areas where the most vehement and vocal Islamists hold sway.

During Morsi’s year in office, some of his hard-line allies increasingly spoke of Christians as enemies of Islam and warned them to remember they are a minority. When the wave of protests against Morsi began on June 30, Brotherhood media depicted it as dominated by Christians — and to hard-liners, it smacked of Christians rising up against a Muslim ruler.” Read more.

Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood Supporters Wave Black Flag Of Al Qaeda In The Sinai, ‘The Era Of Peace Has Ended’

The “era of peace” ended a long, long time ago

By Daniel Greenfield, Frontpage Mag – “Since those are Syrian Al Qaeda flags, maybe soon they’ll be able to use some of those weapons Obama promised them to overthrow the Egyptian government.

It could have been Syria, but it was Egypt, last week. Black jihadist flags, inset with the white oblong cartouche favoured by Syrian affiliates of al-Qaeda, were being waved above a cheering crowd. An angry speaker addressed the masses.

“We need to form a council of war,” he shouted, sounding hoarse from excitement. “The era of peace has ended. If the army attack us we will attack back. We say to the Egyptian army that the day might yet come when we tell it to leave Sinai.”

The crowd, demanding Mr Morsi’s return, drove off the guards, stormed the palace and raised another black flag on the roof. In all, five policemen and a soldier were killed across Sinai at the weekend. On Saturday afternoon, Mina Aboud Sharween, a priest serving el-Arish’s Coptic Christian community, was shot dead by two gunmen on a motorbike. All this went almost unnoticed in the international media.

Here is what the Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party, the organisation it set up and controls to run in elections, had to say in the immediate aftermath: “The party calls on the international community and international organisations and bodies, and all the free world, to intervene to stop further massacres and end military rule, so as not to create a new Syria in the Arab world.”

If it does not intend to take up arms against the new order, how could Egypt end up like Syria?

The New Syria. So much better than the old Syria.” Source – Frontpage Mag.

Revelation 6:9-11, “… I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, ‘How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’ Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.”

By Chris Mitchell, CBN News – “JERUSALEM, Israel — From the West Coast of Africa to the deserts of Sinai, Bedouin tribes are conducting a human trafficking trade on a massive scale.

It’s no secret. The trade reaps millions of dollars and deals with human misery. It could be stopped but so far no one has dared.

‘By that time I had lost sense (sensation) in both my hands,’ an Eritrean torture victim told CBN News. ‘It was a result of the accumulated torture but mainly because (both) of my wrists were tied up so tightly, (and I was) hanged up from the ceiling for three days, the blood was cut off from my hands and the flesh started to literally drip from my hands.’

This man is just one victim of this widespread modern-day slavery, kidnapping, and torture trade in the Sinai desert. There are many pictures and videos of this horrible practice on the Internet.

For this story, this Christian man from the African country of Eritrea is going by ‘Philip,’ but that’s not his real name. CBN News covered his identity for his protection.

‘In some cases, we were tortured simply because we were Christians,’ he told us, his chest trembling slightly as he spoke.

‘Sinai was always a place for human smuggling, but since around two years ago — even a bit more — it started also to be a place of human torture,’ Shahar Shoham, director of Physicians for Human Rights, told CBN News.

Shorham has documented more than 1,300 cases of torture in the Sinai. Those survivors, like Philip, made it to Israel. But most of the cases of torture are not documented.

‘They torture them in horrible methods, like hanging upside down from the ceiling, like using electric shocks, like burning them on their bodies,’ Shorham said...

This story begins in Eritrea, where many like Philip fled from its brutal dictatorship. He traveled to a United Nations refugee camp in Sudan. There he was kidnapped by a Bedouin tribe.

They transferred him — along with many others — through Sudan, Egypt, and all the way to the Sinai desert and their torture camps.

What happens next in these camps is diabolical.” Read more.

The World Is Under Attack By Radical Islam, ‘The Truth Cannot Be Denied’

07/10/2013 6 comments

dominateworld2bBy Rachel Molschky, Cherson and Molschky – “Muslims are attacking Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists and any other non-Muslims or fellow Muslims from different denominations around the world. In just the past few days, there have been several incidents where militant Muslim groups have killed innocent civilians for not sharing their beliefs.

On July 6, militants from Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram in Nigeria, stormed a secondary school. They began shooting the students and burning them alive in their dormitory. It happened just before dawn while the children were still sleeping. Initial reports counted 29 dead children and one adult, however, altogether 42 bodies were found, many charred beyond recognition.

Boko Haram is against what they perceive to be a Western-style education. Since 2010, they and other similar and affiliate groups have killed around 1600 civilians in suicide bombings and attacks like this one.  They’ve attacked schools, healthcare workers administering vaccinations, government employees, teachers, etc.

Farmer Malam Abdullahi found the bodies of two of his sons, a 10-year-old shot in the back as he apparently tried to run away, and a 12-year-old shot in the chest. ‘That’s it, I’m taking my other boys out of school,’ he said as he wept over the two corpses. He said he had three younger children in a nearby school.

Just a few days before, terrorists went to the home of a primary school headmaster and killed his entire family. And on June 16, an attack on a school killed seven students, two teachers, two soldiers and two extremists. One day later, another attack killed at least nine students sitting at their desks.

In India on Sunday, a Buddhist temple in Bodh Gaya was attacked as nine blasts left five people injured. Two other bombs, one near an 80 foot Buddha statue and another at a bus stop, were defused by police. The attack on this particular temple is especially significant as it is believed by Buddhists that Lord Buddha had attained enlightenment there under a tree on the premises. Additionally, Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama makes frequent trips to Bodh Gaya and Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa had visited it six months back. A total of 52 countries have established their monasteries here.

There has been tremendous violence between both Muslims and Buddhists lately however, and this attack is thought to be an act of vengeance for the thousands of Muslims killed in Myanmar. Both Buddhists and Muslims have been killing each other, and now groups like Al Qaeda and Lashkar-e-Toiba are using the attacks to incite more violence worldwide.

Earlier this year, Muslim groups brutally attacked 76 Hindu families and five Hindu temples in Bangladesh. Their houses were burned, and the families were left helpless. Muslim violence in Bangladesh has led to the slaughter of many Hindus and the rape of Hindu women.

In Egypt, Coptic Christians have been the target of Muslims for many years, and their situation worsened under Morsi as anti-blasphemy convictions against Christians became more and more prevalent. But that was just the tip of the iceberg. Christians are kidnapped and forced to convert to Islam, women are raped, Christians are murdered, and churches are burned. Now with the violent protests, ousting of Morsi and military taking over, rapes, beatings and murders are happening on a daily basis. Just the other day, Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda supporting militants Read more…
