An Obama Nation: US Army Defines Christian Ministry As ‘Domestic Hate Group’

By Todd Starnes, Fox News – “Several dozen U.S. Army active duty and reserve troops were told last week that the American Family Association, a well-respected Christian ministry, should be classified as a domestic hate group because the group advocates for traditional family values.

The briefing was held at Camp Shelby in Mississippi and listed the AFA alongside domestic hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Nazis, the Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam.

A soldier who attended the briefing contacted me and sent me a photograph of a slide show presentation that listed AFA as a domestic hate group. Under the AFA headline is a photograph of Westboro Baptist Church preacher Fred Phelps holding a sign reading ‘No special law for f***.’

American Family Association has absolutely no affiliation with the controversial church group known for picketing the funerals of American servicemembers.

‘I had to show Americans what our soldiers are now being taught,’ said the soldier who asked not to be identified. ‘I couldn’t just let this one pass.’

The soldier said a chaplain interrupted the briefing and challenged the instructor’s assertion that AFA is a hate group.

‘The instructor said AFA could be considered a hate group because they don’t like gays,’ the soldier told me. ‘The slide was talking about how AFA refers to gays as sinners and heathens and derogatory terms.’

The soldier, who is an evangelical Christian, said the chaplain defended the Christian ministry.

‘He kept asking the instructor, ‘Are you sure about that, son? Are you sure about that?’’ he said, recalling the back and forth.

Later in the briefing, the soldiers were reportedly told that they could face punishment for participating in organizations that are considered hate groups.” Read more.

    No surprise here, Obama has been at war with Christians since the moment he took office. Those of us who are not killed by terrorist will be done in by Obama Care, or will be farmed out to Camp FEMA. Remember Obama’s own Words when he recently addressed the UN. “The future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

      And it won’t stop here. Obama won’t be satisfied until he’s outlawed ALL Christian ministries! I honestly don’t think this country will be recognizable in 3 more years. We may not all become muslims by then, but if Obama has his way, he’ll try to make us wish that we were! Who ever thought that we would actually have a president in office who blasphemed and slandered the very God of the Bible who made this country the great nation that it was???

      If you’re a muslim, name one blessed thing that your so-called “religion” has ever done anywhere for the betterment of mankind–NAME ONE!!!!!

        Good morning Preach,

        Obama has made his loyalties well known, the problem is, is that far too many Americans are not listening. They are perfectly content not to have the GOD of Jacob mentioned, let alone worshiped in the land. They will continue to immerse themselves in lewd entertainment, and satanic music. They will watch Obama’s grotesque, public dance with the Devil, and cheer, unaware that they are celebrating their own demise.

        Their collective eyes will be opened, and the music will stop, when the demonic yoke of Islam is forced upon their necks. Then they will realize what fools they have been. This world is under the control of Satan, aka Allah.

        I often pray that HaShem will increase the size of the remnant. He says; “let your petitions be known.” Prayer, and the sword of truth are our weapons, and they are powerful.

        I think that my cat Barry is dying. He doesn’t seem to be in any discomfort, he has just been sleeping, almost continuously, and he is eating very little. He gets up only to use the litter box. Well, he is 16 years old. Please pray for him. If it’s his time then pray that the Lord takes him gently and painlessly. Thanks

          Good morning, Denise!
          It seems that every day we hear of something worse than we heard yesterday. It’s frightening and exciting all at once.
          Frightening because we know that a great calamity of judgment is coming. Exciting because we know our redemption draweth nigh!

          I too, have a kitty. I know how much they mean to us. Sometimes I worry about losing him. He’s healthy but is also getting on in years. I will pray for your Barry and for you. May the Lord give you your heart’s desire. Amen!

            Hi Preach,

            Sadly, Barry, my friend of 16 years passed away in his sleep today. He came into the kitchen and had some tuna, and some cream, then he went into my bedroom closet laid down with his daughter Grubbles, and Ruffmann the dog. He took a nap and never woke up. I took him to the Animal Hospital to make sure he was dead and not just unconscious.
            The Vet said that he hadn’t thrown up, urinated, dedicated, and there was no froth from his mouth, all are signs of suffering through death throws. She said that his heart just stopped while he was sleeping. He looked peaceful, and I will miss him. GOD says that, “eyes have not seen, nor has the mind imagined what GOD has planned for those who love Him.” Who knows He might just restore our furry friends. HaShem does answer prayers; Barry went peacefully back to his Creator. HaShem says that not even a Sparrow falls from a tree that He doesn’t take note of, so that includes my Barry.

              To ‘Denise’ – So sorry to hear about your little Barry. I know how difficult this time must be for you. I went through a similar experience with one of my furry friends about 20 years ago. May the Lord help you to heal from the pain that you’re feeling.

              P.S. I truly believe that God heard your prayer to take him peacefully. Thank you, Jesus! You’re such a tender, compassionate loving Friend!!!!!

                I think so too! My sons are grown, and though we remain very close we don’t share the same passion for the Lord. To be truthful, they think that I’m probably a little unbalanced. My grandsons are both teenagers and with their deep dimples are consumed with chasing girls and playing basket ball. My grand daughters are in another state and are both still very young.

                I still work full time and enjoy the company of my pets. Like many other people, I often wonder what will become of my pets if I were to pass on or end up in FEMA camp. I’ve asked the Lord to take care of them and in the last 6 months I have lost two cats. The dog belongs to my eldest son who now lives out of state and cannot have him where he lives, so that leaves me with one old cat, Grubbles. Perhaps the Lord still has plans for me and is removing all immediate ties. I don’t know for sure, so all I can say is; “here I am Lord.”

          You made a good point as to how Americans are NOT listening to people like us. I just read an article that talks about how the Venezuelan President “shut the door” on Obama and kicked him out of the country. AND, how the Brazilian President has condemned Obama and his administration for their agendas! Isn’t it odd, how we have not heard anything about this here in the U.S.! Of course, it’s not odd, it’s just the Main Stream Media covering his (Obama’s) A**!!!

            I think that it seems strange to us when we view these things with the natural eye, but when viewed from a spiritual lens we see that GOD has given many people over to a reprobate mind. They can’t see the truth because they are not interested in truth, or in GOD.

          I know this is controversial, so I don’t want anyone sending me hate mail, but, I’ve heard some Bible scholars who believe there will be animals (dog, cats, etc) in heaven. As I said, I don’t need all you guys out there jumpin down my throat–I’m just saying this to encourage Denise in case she has to face losing her kitty. The way I see it, God loves us and wants to give us our heart’s desires. What could be more precious to an animal lover than to have their favorite dog or cat join them in heaven. Just sayin’.

            It was GOD who put the ability to love and to interact with animals into our nature. Just taking note of all His animal creations is proof that He loves animals.
