Uganda: Daughter Beaten By Her Father, Hospitalized After Converting To Christianity

Morning Star News – “A dream of praying in a church frightened a recent college graduate in Uganda, the Muslim daughter of sheikh; she knew he was capable of seriously hurting her for such a religious switch.

Wenene Nuru, 23, of Iki-Iki township in Pallisa District, had been listening to a Christian-Muslim dialogue on ‘The Sonship of Jesus Christ’ on the radio before she had the dream on Feb. 28.

‘When I woke up from the dream, I became unsettled and terrified and could not tell my father, who is a sheikh [Muslim teacher],’ she told Morning Stare News. ‘I decided to visit a Christian girl, who took me to a birthday party. A visiting pastor from Jinja, Uganda shared about Christ being born in a person’s heart, there and then I gave my life to Christ.’

Nuru left that celebration on March 2 very excited. Like most converts from Islam, upon reaching home she kept her new faith a secret. The next day a neighbor who had attended the party telephoned her father, however, and informed him that his daughter had converted to Christianity.

On March 4, at about 8 p.m., her father, Nuru Rajabu, could no longer contain his anger.

‘My father began beating me with clubs and blows, and I started screaming in great pain,’ she said. ‘While I was down on the floor bleeding, my father went looking for a knife to kill me. A neighbor named Saleem arrived and helped me escape.’

She found lodging from a nearby church and was taken to a hospital the next day.

‘Wenene was hospitalized for a week at Pallisa Hospital,’ a source whose identity is withheld for security reasons told Morning Star News. ‘Now she is being housed by one of the elders of the church in Pallisa.'” Read more.

Nigeria: Over Three Million People Facing Humanitarian Crisis Because Of Islamic Jihad

When the perpetrators are Islamic jihadists, the mainstream media and the world ‘human rights community’ goes strangely silent. Why is that? Is every last mainstream media reporter in the world convinced that innocent Muslims will be victimized if they report honestly and fully about Islamic jihad activity? Are innocent Catholics victimized by honest reporting of the priest sex scandals? Of course not — and the argument is just as preposterous in this context.

‘Nigeria’s Boko Haram insurgency ‘affects millions,’’ from the BBC, March 26 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

More than three million people are facing a humanitarian crisis in three northern Nigerian states hit by an Islamist-led insurgency, the government’s relief agency has said.

The conflict has displaced about 250,000 people since January, it added.

President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency in the three states last year to crush the insurgency.

However, the militant Islamist group Boko Haram has stepped up attacks in recent months.

The group operates mostly in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa, where the state of emergency is in force.
‘Unprecedented crisis’

In a statement, the Nigerian government’s National Emergency Management Agency (Nema) said the “needs of the affected population are increasing by the day and the support of all is urgently required”.

Borno was worst affected, with about 1.3 million people – most of them women, children and the elderly – in need of aid, Nema said.

In Adamawa, the number stood at around one million and in Yobe at more than 770,000, it said.

About 250,000 people were living in camps or with relatives and friends after being forced out of their homes, the agency added.

Nigerian Red Cross Society representative Soji Adeniyi said what has happening in the north-east was unprecedented.

“We have never had this kind of displacement caused by conflicts before in the country,” he is quoted by Nigeria’s privately-owned This Day newspaper as saying.

Earlier this month, Boko Haram fighters attacked an army barracks in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state.

Its fighters also looted and torched several villages and towns in the state after launching attacks with rocket-propelled grenades and assault rifles.

Last month, the group was accused of killing at least 29 people in an attack on a rural boarding school in Yobe.

Boko Haram has waged an insurgency since 2009 to create a strict Islamic state in northern Nigeria.

The president insists that the state of emergency has been effective, saying the militants have been confined to a small area near the border with Cameroon.

‘Retaliatory Terrorism’: At Least Four Dead After Muslim Brotherhood Supporters Attack Egyptian Church

By Raymond Ibrahim, Islam Translated – “Among other forms of ‘retaliatory terrorism,’ some 80 Christian churches were attacked in Egypt immediately after the June 30 Revolution, which saw the ousting of Muslim Brotherhood president Morsi.

And now that Egypt has sentenced to death hundreds of Muslim Brotherhood supporters for the widespread terror they launched on the nation after the people’s revolution, the Brotherhood and its supporters are, once again, retaliating by attacking Coptic Christian minorities and their churches.

Yesterday, Friday — the day when Muslims meet for prayers, the day when their imams incite attacks on churches and other forms of terrorism — in Ain Shams, a suburb of Cairo, ‘Muslim protesters attacked a Coptic Orthodox Christian church on March 28. Four people were killed in the attack on the church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Archangel Michael. Among the dead are a 25-year-old journalist and a Coptic Christian worshipper. When Egyptian security forces intervened, violence spread throughout the surrounding neighborhood. Muslim radicals are frequently whipped up into frenzy by their religious leaders on Fridays when they gather for prayer.’

Among other things, the attackers set fire to parked cars and opened fire on the church itself.

According to eyewitnesses, Sameh Merry, a Coptic Christian woman, was ‘murdered by Muslim protesters when they noticed that she had a small cross dangling from the rear-view mirror of her car. Other witnesses claim that she was killed because she was in possession of a firearm. Coptic Orthodox Bishop Raphael expressed condolences over the deaths.’

It’s certainly plausible to believe this woman was specifically attacked because of her Christian cross.  Anecdotes of Christians being targeted and mistreated because of the cross are many and across the entire Islamic world (see pgs. 84-94 of Crucified Again).  Recent examples can be read here, here and here.” Source – Raymond Ibrahim.

Coptic Woman ‘Martyred For The Cross’ — ‘Body Torn’ – “On his Twitter account, Coptic Bishop Raphaeil, who also serves as Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Coptic Christian Church, just wrote: ‘Oh how lucky you are, Mary, you who are beloved of Christ. They tore your body because of the Cross. Yet they offered you the greatest service and gave you a name of honor as one who attained the crown of martyrdom.’ The bishop also quoted Christ in the Bible, ‘Yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service’ (John 16:2).” Read more.

Syria: Christian Survivor Says Muslims Are Beheading Hundreds, Feeding Bodies To Dogs

If it was good for the “prophet” of Islam to personally behead hundreds, then all good Islamists are encouraged to mimic his perfect example  …

Shoebat – “Shoebat.com has just received a message from our Middle East contact Sister Hatune Dogan, an Eastern Orthodox nun we partnered with to rescue Christians in Syria and Iraq. In this correspondence she has described horrific details on what Muslims are currently committing against Christians, which she has received from surviving Christians who have fled the torrent of violence in Syria.

While ttending to persecuted Christians from Syria Sister Dogan received a story from one Christian survivor named Abd Alluhud, who has become psychologically ruined from seeing such cruelty, in which Muslims beheaded hundreds of victims, and left their corpses to be consumed by dogs. She wrote to us:

The story of the man Abd Alluhud is etched in my mind. He is now locked up in a room. He was so traumatized by what he’d seed that he broke his hand by striking out in emotional pain.

Alluhud is a wreck. He seems to only get worse. He has three daughters and a little son of about five years. The daughters are older, but not older than 15 years. His wife was a teacher. He owned much land near Aleppo in Syria. The family has seen a lot of suffering and persecution, and much misery. He reported that hundreds of people killed by fanatics; they were beheaded. Dogs would feed on the victims. Again and again he imagines what he and his children had to witness. The horror is deeply imprinted on his soul. Now he lives in southeastern Turkey.

As Shoebat.com has written in a previous article, Alluhud, from seeing such immense amounts of slaughter and decapitations, has become so emotionally unstable that he continued to slam his hand until it was injured:

Sister Dogan, in her trip in Turkey, also met a women who extremely disturbed, because [her] husband was butchered by Muslims. Why? Simply for the reason that he was wearing a Cross:

There is another family I visited that was marked by misfortune. The father was killed because he was wearing a cross around his neck. His wife, who told me about it, suffers tremendously.

‘Noah’ Movie Is An Insult To Bible-Believing Christians And, Most Of All, An Insult To God

By Ken Ham, Time – “As a Creationist and also a believer in the historical account of Noah and the Flood, I agree with atheist Darren Aronofsky’s statement about his just-released film ‘Noah’: It is the ‘least biblical’ of Bible-themed films. Any other agreement I have with the filmmaker’s take on the book of Genesis and its account of Noah ends right there. Further, I told a group of pastors earlier today that because I found ‘Noah’ to be a boring 2½ hour movie, it may be the worst film I’ve ever seen.

Except for some of the names in the movie, like Noah, his sons’ names, and Methuselah, hardly any remnant of the Bible’s account of the Flood in Genesis 6-9 is recognizable. Yes, there is an Ark in the film that is true to the massive biblical proportions, but it did not look like a seaworthy vessel. There were many animals that came to Noah and went on board the Ark, but there were far too many creatures crammed inside and certainly many more than were needed. Also, while the extreme wickedness of man was depicted, the real sin displayed in the film was the people’s destruction of the earth. Lost within the film’s extreme environmentalist message is that the actual sins of the pre-Flood people were a rebellion against God and also man’s inhumanity to man.

Noah’s misanthropy is revealed many times in the film. For example, when the girlfriend of Noah’s son Ham is caught in a trap and is about to be overtaken by some marauders, Noah leaves the girl to die at their hands. The film’s Noah wants to totally destroy the human race and doesn’t want his sons to have children. In perhaps the most shocking part of the film, Noah plans to kill his unborn grandchild, the child of Shem’s wife, if it is a girl. As Noah values his animals on board more than people and rants about it, he becomes a psychopath. Hollywood’s Noah is not the righteous man described in Hebrews 11 and other scriptures.

Even putting aside the movie’s scene that presents evolution’s alleged progression of simple animals to humans, I noted pagan elements in ‘Noah.’ His grandfather Methuselah is something of a witch doctor. In addition, Noah gets the idea of building the Ark after drinking a magical potion.

Ultimately, there is barely a hint of biblical fidelity in this film. It is an unbiblical, pagan film from its start. It opens with: ‘In the beginning there was nothing.’ The Bible opens with, ‘In the beginning God.’ That difference helps sum up the problem I have with the film. The Bible is about the true God of creation; the movie does not present the true God of the Bible.

The leader of the Noor Mosque in Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Hany Saqr, was previously an imam for another area mosque which at that time was the base of operations for the largest known Al-Qaeda cell in the U.S. since 9/11, including convicted jihadists Iyman Faris, Nuradin Abdi, and Christopher Paul. Saqr is one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in North America. Dr. Salah Sultan was the Noor Islamic Center’s unofficial scholar in residence. A protégé of Muslim Brotherhood Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, Sultan is now in the Middle East and has appeared on Egyptian television approvingly quoting the genocidal hadith about how the end times will not come until Muslims kill Jews. He previously appeared at events in support of Hamas and Qaradawi. The Noor Center has been directly linked to the Somali Muslims who have gone from the U.S. back to Somali for jihad terror training. Siraj Wahhaj, a friend of the Blind Sheikh and a potential unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, has spoken at the Noor Mosque. Mosque members threatened the life of Rifqa Bary, a teenage girl who left Islam for Christianity.

Lent is for Christians traditionally a season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. There is no sect of Christianity that now or ever has defined Lent as involving waging war against and subjugating non-Christians. Yet a Shafi’i manual of Islamic law that was certified in 1991 by the clerics at Al-Azhar University, one of the leading authorities in the Islamic world, as ‘conforming to the practice and faith of the orthodox Sunni community,’ says that ‘jihad means to war against non-Muslims.’ (‘Umdat al-Salik, O9.0). Many other Islamic authorities back up this definition. To point out, as Lindsay does, that other Muslims think of jihad in other ways does nothing to stop that violent jihad for even one second.

The Rev. Deborah Lindsay’s office isn’t exactly typical for a Christian minister.

Along with crosses on the wall, bookshelves hold Christian texts alongside Muslim scriptures. A dish on a table holds Muslim prayer beads. Behind her door hang clergy stoles, including one patterned with a colorful design adapted from a Muslim prayer rug.

The room at First Community Church in Marble Cliff represents what Lindsay has spent the past four years working to achieve. Just as she has found that Christianity can blend with Islam in her office, she has shown that Christians can sit beside Muslims in the community.

Lindsay is wrapping up a Muslim-Christian bridge-building project that pairs members of her church with members of the Noor Islamic Cultural Center in Hilliard.

Muslim Brotherhood theorist Sayyid Qutb once said: ‘The chasm between Islam and Jahiliyyah [the society of unbelievers] is great, and a bridge is not to be built across it so that the people on the two sides may mix with each other, but only so that the people of Jahiliyyah may come over to Islam.’

Nigeria: Christian Woman Held Captive By Islamists Escapes, ‘They Were Slitting People’s Throats’

By Will Ross, BBC – “Two women who were abducted by Boko Haram in north-eastern Nigeria have given a rare account of life as captives of the Islamist militants.

‘They asked me if I am Christian or Muslim. I said I am Christian,’ said 23-year-old Liatu, as she recalled her ordeal in the hands of Boko Haram.

‘On the 11th day [in captivity], they brought a man to me and said that he liked me and I should convert to Islam so that he can marry me.’

She was stopped at a roadblock set up last year by the Islamist militant group. She said any Muslims employed by the government were killed on the spot, as Boko Haram had earlier warned them to leave their work.

She was taken to the insurgents’ base in Borno state’s Sambisa forest, where the bloodshed continued.

‘They were slitting people’s throats with knives. Both women and men were killed – especially the men who didn’t agree to fight for them,’ she said.

“Those that tried to escape were shot but they hardly ever used their guns to kill. They usually used knives. About 50 people were killed right in front of me.” …

Liatu spent 15 days in captivity and refused to eat anything. Then, after being told about the proposed marriage, she made an extremely risky escape…

Nineteen-year-old Janet was held for three months. She says that Boko Haram tried to turn her into a killer.

‘They went to Gwoza and brought five people to the camp. They started slaughtering them in front of me. Then they ordered me to slit one of their throats. I refused. I told them I couldn’t do it. Then the wife of the leader of the group killed him instead.'” Read more.

Syria: At Least 13 Beheaded After Christian Town Attacked By Islamist Rebels

Were they beheaded for refusing to convert to Islam? Most likely. Here’s an update on this story …

Barnabas Fund – “The population of a Christian town in north-west Syria was forced to flee when it was besieged by Islamist rebels; 80 people were killed, at least 13 of whom were beheaded, churches desecrated and homes looted.

Militants from the al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front, Sham al-Islam and Ansar al-Sham attacked Kessab on the Turkish border early on Friday 21 March.

Around 3,000 Armenian Christian residents fled for their lives, taking refuge in neighbouring Latakia and Bassit. Some are staying with relatives and friends, but the rest are sheltering in over-crowded church buildings.

A dozen or so families with members too elderly to leave remained in Kessab and were subsequently taken hostage.

Turkey’s New Jihad Against Christian Armenians

By Raymond Ibrahim, FrontPage Mag – “Far from being repentant of the Armenian Genocide, Turkey, under the leadership of Prime Minister Erdogan, is again targeting Armenians; is again causing their death and dislocation.

In the early morning hours of March 21, al-Qaeda linked Islamic jihadis crossed into Syrian territory from the Turkish border and launched a jihad on the Christian/Armenian town of Kessab. Among other thing, ‘Snipers targeted the civilian population and launched mortar attacks on the town and the surrounding villages.’  Reportedly eighty people were killed.

The jihadis later made a video touring the devastated town; no translation is needed, as the main phrase shouted throughout is Islam’s triumphant war cry, ‘Allahu Akbar’ (or, according to Sen. John McCain’s translation, ‘thank God’).

Eyewitnesses say the jihadis crossed the Turkish border into Syria, ‘openly passing through Turkish military barracks. According to Turkish media reports, the attackers carried their injured back to Turkey for treatment in the town of Yayladagi.’

About two-thousand Armenians were evacuated to safer areas in neighboring Basit and Latakia. Several of these families are currently living inside the churches of these towns. Ten to fifteen families with relations too elderly to flee remained in Kessab, their fate currently unknown.” Read more.

By Zaheer Babar, Associated Pres – “A court convicted a Pakistani Christian man and sentenced him to death Thursday in a blasphemy case that sparked a riot last year in the eastern city of Lahore, according to his lawyer.

Naeem Shakir, the lawyer for Sawan Masih, said a judge announced the verdict during a hearing at the jail where the trial has been held out of fears that Masih might be attacked on his way to court. Shakir said he would appeal.

Although Pakistan has never executed anybody under the law, crowds angered over blasphemy accusations have been known to take the law into their own hands and kill those they suspect of violating it. Once an accusation is made it is extremely difficult to reverse, in part because law enforcement personnel do not want to appear to be going easy on suspects.

Such vigilantism has created a climate of fear, forcing frightened judges into holding court sessions inside jails and keeping witnesses from coming to the defense of those on trial.

Many human rights activists say the blasphemy law, which allows for punishment of life in prison or death, is misused as a way to target people for personal gain or revenge.

The incident that led to Thursday’s conviction began March 7 last year when a young Muslim man accused Masih of maligning the Prophet Muhammad. Police arrested Masih, but the next day a mob ransacked the neighborhood where he and other Christians live, setting fire to homes and destroying household possessions.

Fearing for their safety, hundreds of Christian families fled the area overnight ahead of the riots.” Read more.

The Co-Equal-With-Allah “Prophet” Of Islam: An Epitome Of Moral Perfection Or Paragon Of Evil?

Revelation 13:18, “This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate [ψηφίζω – “reckon”] the number [ἀριθμός – “multitude” of people] of the beast, for it is the number of a man …”

“There are 91 verses in the Quran that say: obeying God is obeying Muhammad and obeying Muhammad is obeying God … Therefore, Muhammad and Allah have the same standing in Islam, are equal to each other.” As I’ve noted previously, one of the reasons why Islamists despise Christians is because we associate Jesus with God, making Jesus a co-equal partner with the Almighty. Jesus being God in the flesh is one of the foundational tenets of Christianity. According to Islam, however, this Christian belief is an unpardonable sin that “Allah” will never forgive. Nonetheless, even though Islam would never teach that Mohammed is “Allah” in the flesh, it associates and equates the “prophet” of Islam with “Allah” himself repeatedly. Islam teaches that “Allah” has no partners on one hand, but on the other it contradicts itself by teaching that one cannot become a Muslim unless they acknowledge that “There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger” per the Shahada. In Islam, a Muslim’s “salvation” is entirely determined by their obedience and devotion to Mohammed, effectively elevating the “prophet” of Islam to the same co-equal status of Islam’s own deity. To acknowledge “Allah” is not enough. You must acknowledge the “perfect man” Mohammed as well. This, of course, begs the question: Since Mohammed is co-equal with “Allah”, what does the “prophet’s” moral character reveal about the nature of “Allah”? …

Hadith Bukhari 2996, “… [Mohammed] said, ‘Become Muslim and you will be safe. Know that the earth belongs to Allah AND His Messenger. I want to expel you from this land. Whoever of you has some property should sell it. However, the earth belongs to Allah AND His Messenger.’”

Qur’an Sura 3:31, “… If you should love Allah, THEN FOLLOW ME [Mohammed], so Allah will love you and forgive you your sins …”

Qur’an Sura 48:10, “Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you, [O Muhammad] – they are actually pledging allegiance to Allah …”

Qur’an Sura 4:80, “He who obeys the Messenger [Mohammed] has obeyed Allah …”

Qur’an Sura 33:36, “It is not fitting for a [Muslim], man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path.”

Islam Watch – “For Islam to be true, both Muhammad and his supposed God [Allah] must be of moral perfection as conceived by the human conscience. In fact, the Quran, the holy book of Islam, does claim that Muhammad was the perfect human being ever created:

‘Ye have indeed in the Apostle of God a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in God and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of God.’ (Quran 33:21)

Therefore, Muhammad is expected to the ‘Paragon of Moral Perfection’ as per Islam’s own claim. Also in the following verses, Allah endows moral greatness upon Muhammad:

1. ‘Say (O Muhammad to mankind): ‘If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’ Say (O Muhammad): ‘Obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad).’ But if they turn away, then Allah does not like the disbelievers.’ (Quran: 3:31)

2. ‘And whatever the Messenger gives you, take it, and whatever he forbids you, leave it. And fear Allah: truly Allah is severe in punishment.’ (Quran 59:7)

3. ‘And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on an exalted standard of character.’ (Quran 68:4)

4. ‘And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds.‘ (Al-Anbiya’ 21:107)

Bukhari 1:2:25

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle was asked, ‘What is the best deed?’ He replied, ‘To believe in Allah and His Apostle (Muhammad). The questioner then asked, ‘What is the next (in goodness)? He replied, ‘To participate in Jihad (religious fighting) in Allah’s Cause.’ The questioner again asked, ‘What is the next (in goodness)?’ He replied, ‘To perform Hajj (Pilgrim age to Mecca) ‘Mubrur, (which is accepted by Allah and is performed with the intention of seeking Allah’s pleasure only and not to show off and without committing a sin and in accordance with the traditions of the Prophet).’

There are 91 verses in the Quran that say: obeying God is obeying Muhammad and obeying Muhammad is obeying God (see http://www.islamreform.net/new-page-41.htm). Therefore, Muhammad and Allah have the same standing in Islam, are equal to each other.

Evidence for moral perfection of Muhammad is found in the Sunnah – the sacred sayings and deeds of Islam’s holy prophet. Sunnah literally means ‘path’. In Islam, Sunnah is the ‘path’ laid down by the character, manners, ritual habits, deeds, examples and legislative actions of Prophet Muhammad.
