Qur’an Sura 2:216, “Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.”

Al-Shorfa – “Unknown gunmen killed a cleric, who had taken a stand against extremism and terrorism, at his home in southern Mosul, the Iraqi police in Ninawa province said Wednesday (March 19th).

‘Unknown gunmen attacked prominent cleric Sheikh Abdullah al-Hassan, imam and preacher at al-Sheikh Abdullah Mosque, while he was at home’ in al-Imam neighbourhood, Ninawa police spokesman Col. Khalid al-Hamdani told Al-Shorfa.

‘They opened fire on him, killing him immediately,’ he said.

The gunmen fled the scene after carrying out the attack, he added.” Source – Al-Shorfa.

    Muslims, much like the rest of humanity are having to face the same choice; either Yeshua or Satan. Their Koran demands that they wage jihad against Christians, Jews, and eventually all unbelievers, or suffer the same fate as the infidels.

    Every one of us was born with a conscience, at least to the extent that we are able to discern between good and evil. This is a spiritual battle and there is no fence. Everyone has to make that same choice, regardless of circumstances.

    Today, there is a movement of the Holy Spirit among Muslims. Yeshua is appearing to them in dreams and visions, and many Muslims are becoming followers of the GOD of Israel. Amazingly, those who leave Islam are so much more zealous for the Lord than are many western Christians. There is something about persecution that will either make or break a persons walk with the Lord.

    In America, telling a fellow believer that there is not much hope for a pretrib rapture, or suggesting that Easter is nothing more than Baal worship, is enough to make a fellow western believer turn on you. American Christians consider it persecution if they are insulted. What on earth will happen when true persecution visits us?

    For the moment, Satan doesn’t seem too interested in warring against the pampered church. Hopefully, that will soon change, and we will give him cause for concern.
